Prologue

We currently find a beautiful woman floating in a void or wherever she currently was. Her name is Aqua Lucia. Goddess of the 7 seas. Formally known as Lucia Damoto-Nanami. The former pink mermaid pearl princess of the North Pacific. But, that was 1-4 centuries ago. Before she ascended to her current position upon her death. Along with her having settled into her role. As the new goddess of the 7 seas. Along with occasionally checking up on her, and her now 2 dead friends, Hanon, and Rina's descendants both on land or in the seas. While occasionally thinking back on the good old days.

But right now, we currently find her watching 1 of Rina's descendants in the human world. A woman who went by the name Inko Midoriya. Who had just finished giving birth to her son, Izuku.

And was smiling warmly at the scene, before her. Until something in her gut, told her to look into the newborn's future.

Only for a frown to grace her face. When she saw, how hard the child's life would be around the ages of 4-5 years old. Followed by her frown deepening. As the boy's life became harder and crueler over the next 9-10 years. Due to bullying and discrimination. Only to find hope at the age of 14 Before it was dashed again. Then followed the same person, who put him down. To give him hope once again, by a man named Toshinori Yagi. But, for some reason, Lucia had a suspicion, that Toshi was 1 of her descendants. Before she saw a man, who would bring the world to the brink of destruction for his goal of world domination. While she saw Inko put on weight. Due to the guilt, she felt as a failure of a mother.

Then she had a thought. What would happen, if she awakened, dead friend Rina's latent mermaid DNA in Inko and her son.

But, first, she had to know. If Inko still had Rina's Pearl Tear shell locket. Since Rina had died of old age in the human world. She also knew, that Rina had married Masahiro Hamasaki and had children with him. Along with knowing, that the pearl was no longer in it. Since the pearl had been returned to the North Atlantic. So, that the next green pearl princess could be born.

After a bit of looking, she found it in Inko's jewelry box. Knowing that Rina's Pearl Tear neckless was still safe. She decided to look into a future, where she had awakened Inko and Izuku's mermaid DNA.

Then she looked into the future again and saw Inko sitting on the throne of the North Atlantic, with her son by her side. She couldn't help but smile. At the way, the 2 were happy together in the kingdom. Surrounded by those, who apricated them.

Followed by seeing the same events playing out in the future. Except for the 2 constantly making the trip back and forth between their apartment and the kingdom. Which ultimately ended up with Inko's son winding up with either 1 or multiple girls in the future and multiple children as well. Depending on how Inko's son attracted them in the future. She even saw a possible descendant of her and Kaito’s joining. Which begged the question, was 1 of the girls, she saw. Really 1 of her and Kaito’s descendants or was it just a coincidence. Followed by Inko's son, not only splitting his duties as a pro hero and being the current ruler of the North Atlantic. But as a father as well. Where Lucia could only laugh at Inko's son's situation, in the future. When he succeeded Inko as the Green Pearl Prince. Which reminded her, of her husband Kaito. When they were still in school. When he had girls chasing him.

Before Lucia gained a serious look on her face. Which was to ask the big question. Which was to see, how she can get all of the events to line up perfectly. Before she remembered, that the current Green Pearl Princess was starting to get up there in age. Which had her begging the question, how much time did she have left.

Then an idea hit Lucia. Maybe she could work with this. But she would need to hold off on the birth of the next Green Pearl Princess and have Inko become the next princess of the North Atlantic. While her son would succeeded her, as the first Green Pearl Prince.

Now, with everything settled. Lucia could only wait and hope everything played out, the way she wanted it to. Because the hard part was waiting for the right moment to make her move.

To let you know, I've had this My Hero Academia and Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch fanfic idea. Floating in my head for a while. Before I finally decided to give it a try. So, I decided to see how it goes. In other words here's the first chapter of the Green Atlantic Prince.

Chapter 1: History of a Fishy Family

From the prologue, the next 4-5 years had passed, since then. And we currently find ourselves in the chambers of the current Green Pearl Princess in the North Atlantic Mermaid Kingdom, with the princess lying in her bed.

"Can I have the room. Alone with my closest friends and my advisors." Said the princess, causing everyone to leave her room. Except for her friends and her advisors. Who were beginning to crowd around her bed, in case these were going to be her last words.

"I've received a vision from the Goddess of the Seas." Said the mermaid. "Once I die. I want my closest friend to take my pearl, not to the fountain. But you must go to the nation of Japan instead. Which is in the human world." Pausing as she let out a few coughs. "Because the princess, who will follow, after me. Has already been born and she and her son. Come from a marriage of human and mermaid, from the 21st century." Letting out a few more coughs. "My pearl will act as a compass to find them." Before the last of her strength gave out and she passed away.

From there they began making plans for the princess's funeral. Which took about 2 weeks for them to plan and have. So, that everyone can pay their respects to the princess.

Before the friend of the princess was able to depart for Japan, to find the next princess and her son. Taking the former princess's green pearl with her.

Around a month, after the death of the now former green pearl princess. We currently find Inko doing some chores around her and Izuku's apartment. Being careful enough not to get her neckless wet. So, she wouldn't change into a mermaid.

Then she thought back to what happened a month ago.

(Flashback)

We currently find a depressed Inko getting into her bed. Still blaming herself for not being able to give Izuku a quirk.

Once she was asleep. Her great-grandmother's necklace started playing a mysterious melody, from out of nowhere.

The next thing, Inko knew. She was waking up in a void of some sort. Then Inko looked down and saw that she was wearing a light green seashell bra and her legs had been replaced with a green fishtail. With 2 green gem-like bracelets on her right wrist and at the end of her tail, before her fin. And a green armband on her upper left arm. With her hair still styled, in the same bun. She always had it in.

Causing her to panic and before quickly going back to looking around, wherever she was currently floating. She was not only scared, but confused as well.

As she continued, looking around confused and wondering, why she was there. Before Lucia suddenly appeared, before her.

"I'm so glad, that I can meet you. After all these years." Said Lucia, after she suddenly appeared before Inko. "Oh. And it looks like you inherited your great umpteenth time over grandma's tail color."

"Who are you? Where are I? Why am I here?" Asked Inko. "And why did you say, That I had my great grandma's tail color?" Getting a little suspicious about the part, about the tail color.

"Well to answer, your questions in order." Said Lucia, from where she was floating. "My Aqua Lucia, formally known as Lucia Nanami. I've ascended to the position of goddess of the 7 seas, around the dawn of the 21st century. Along with being the former Pink Pearl Princess of the North Pacific Ocean. Second, you are currently floating in the void spiritually. And no, you're not dead." Before Inko let out a quick sigh on that last 1, knowing that she wasn't dead. "Third, you're here for a very important reason. That I'll explain to you shortly. And for your fourth and final question. When I said, that you inherited your great-grandmother's tail color. Is that she had the exact same shade of green for her tail. And this is part of the reason, I called you here. And it has something to do, with your great-grandmother." Which caused Inko to ask even more questions, about what was going on. As Lucia conjured up a few chairs for them to sit at.

After they had sat down on the chairs. "First off, let me explain about who your great-grandmother is." Said Lucia. From there Lucia began explaining Rina's life. Which surprised Inko, that her great-grandmother was not only a mermaid but a princess as well. And that she was a hero, that had saved the 7 seas 3 times in her life. Along with marrying a human named Masahiro Hamasaki. Who was Inko's great-grandfather. Along with having a few children. During this, Lucia had conjured up a table, with some food and drinks for them.

"Now, I've finished explaining your great-grandmother's life. Let me explain the reason, why I've brought you here." Said Lucia, as she took a sip of her drink. "Normally in the cycle for the princess of each of the 7 seas. When the previous one dies, a new 1 is born to take the place of the previous princess." Pausing a bit to think on how to put her words. "However, when I was watching you hold Izuku in your hands. When he was born. My gut told me to look into his future. What I saw, was that the next 9-10 years were going to be the hardest years of his life." Which made Inko feel even worse, about Izuku being Quirkless.

"Of course. I couldn't stand by and allow a descendants of 1 of my closest friends. To be treated as if they were subhuman." Lucia added. "So, I decided to intervene, in this and hold off on the birth of the next Green Pearl Princess. Because I want you, Inko to become the next Green Pearl Princess. While Izuku will become your successor, the Green Pearl Prince." Surprising Inko and Izuku, about the sudden offer.

"I know, you have many questions about why I'm doing this. And again, I want to give a descendant of 1 of my friends, a fighting chance." Said Lucia, as Inko felt touched, that someone out there was watching out for them.

"So, what's in it for me? If I do take the position of the next Green Pearl Princess?" Asked Inko, as she became curious about the position, that was being asked of her.

"Well...you would become the ruler of the North Atlantic Ocean and all of the mermaids in that area of the ocean." Said Lucia, as she thought on it. "But you'll also have except the duty. That should the 7 seas ever fall into disarray, you must play your part in protecting them as well. Along with your son, when he succeeds you." As Inko thought about Lucia's words.

"You and your son will also gain an idol form and a mic. That will appear when you 2 use your pearls." Said Lucia. "Also, you can probably pass off, being merfolk as a Quirk. And if anyone mentions about turning into seafoam. Tell them I abolished, that old rule. When Quirks started appearing. So, it’s safe to reveal your secret to others. As long as your quiet about being the princess of 1 of the 7 seas. Unless it’s someone you can trust. Since I could never figure out, if the sea foam thing, was true or not” Before Lucia noticed, Inko's face. "Are you, okay? Inko."

"I'm fine. But, it's just a lot to take in." Said Inko, feeling a little overwhelmed. "Also, can I have some time to think about my answer? Before I give you my answer." Asked Inko, trying to be reserved about the idea of her about taking the position. While trying to keep her head together. Thanks to the information, that was dropped on her.

"Certainly. I will allow you a few days to think on it." Said Lucia. "Though if I were you. I would do some research on how Quirkless are treated in public." Getting a nod, from Inko. As Lucia sent them and waited a few days to call them back for Inko's answer.

When Inko woke up. She thought, that the whole thing was a dream. But, over the next few days. Inko's gut told her to do some research on, how Quirkless were treated and was mortified by what she read online.

Until a few days later. After Inko and Izuku had gone to bed. The necklace once again began playing a melody. Causing Inko to reappear in front of Lucia. In her mermaid form.

"So, Inko? Have you made your decision on my offer?" Asked Lucia, as she floated in front of them.

"I have and I'll accept your offer." Said Inko, with determination in her voice. "Especially after doing some research, I did. On how Japan treats those, that are Quirkless."

"Very well." Said Lucia, with a smile on her face. "Because of your choice. Izuku will have the positive emotional support, he will need to prevent certain thoughts from happening. Due to bullying." Said Lucia. But in her mind, she was trying her best not to put pressure on Inko for her to take the position. Since it was vital for Inko to take the position, as the Green Pearl Princess. Though Lucia couldn't shake the feeling, that Izuku was going to be a handful. "Now, I have to do 1 more thing. And that's to give you 2 your necklaces." Lucia added as she used her staff, to cause 2 identical Pearl Tear necklaces to appear around their necks.

Meanwhile, in the real world, Rina's Pearl Tear necklace floated up from Inko's jewelry box. Before it made a copy of itself. One went over went to Inko. The other went to Izuku.

"Oh! And before I send you back. Expect the arrival of a few mermaids. Who will have the Green Pearl." Said Lucia, to Inko. "From there, I might be able to split the pearl. So that both you and Izuku may have 1. If I cannot create a duplicate of the pearl. Then you will need to pass the pearl on to Izuku." Said Lucia, with a voice of uncertainty, about being able to divide the pearl.

"Well, either way. All I can say is do your best." Said Inko, as she got a nod from Lucia.

"Thank you, Inko." Said Lucia, as she stood up and grabbed her. "See you, soon enough. Oh, and be mindful of water and getting wet. When you're wearing your Pearl Tear necklace or you'll turn into a mermaid." As Inko began fading from the plain.

When Inko woke up from her dream. But the moment, she brought her left hand to her head. Where she noticed, that sitting on her wrist, were the exact same jeweled bracelets, That she had when she was in her mermaid form. Followed by Inko turning on her lamp. After she had turned on her lamp. Inko quickly lifted the covers. Where she was greeted, by having her legs replaced with the exact same green fish tail, that she had in her dream. As she brought her hands up to check for 1 more thing. And that was to feel for her new Pearl Tear necklace. Where she found the necklace around her neck. Making her fully realize, that it wasn't a dream.

Finally, a thought hit her, that made her realize. "Maybe. I should explain, everything tomorrow. That will be happening to us." Thought Inko. Before there was a flash of light, as her new mermaid tail turned back into legs, with clothes returning too. Before deciding to go back to sleep.

The next day, thankfully was a day, that Inko and Izuku could spend some time together. That she and Izuku were home together. She was also thankful for Lucia giving Izuku, the exact same necklace as her well.

First during the explanation, Inko got wet and turned into her mermaid form. Which surprised Izuku a lot. Then she proceeded to explain to Izuku, about their family's lineage to him. Along with explaining to him, that Lucia a friend of their great-grandmother Rina Toin. Decided to intervene and give him a chance at being a hero. But, she'll need to take up the throne of the North Atlantic Mermaid Kingdom in exchange. Then have him succeed her for the throne. Which surprised him. Then Izuku asked, Inko. If the same thing had happened to him. Which Inko nodded, and proceeded to splash Izuku's necklace with some water. Followed by him turning into a merman. Much to both of Izuku's amazement and amusement. Finally, Inko told him, that they'll be expecting a few mermaids to show up in the future. Which he understood.

Then Inko thought over the past few weeks, after what had happened to them. And it was very interesting for the 2 of them. Not only did they have to be careful around water. But adapting to have baths, whenever they transformed. While taking a bath or shower was an interesting experience. Along with a few other things as well.

Inko continued reminiscing about the past few weeks until she a knock at the apartment's front door. Where she went to answer it. Only to be greeted by a mysterious women, holding a green pearl. Which was shimmering brightly. But not brightly enough to alert, those who would notice it.

"Are you from the North Atlantic Mermaid Kingdom?" Asked Inko, getting a nod from them. "Then come right on in. So, that we can talk." Getting a nod, from the mysterious woman. Before they made their way inside. So, that they could talk inside, about what they wanted to do.

Yes, I'm focusing on Inko for a few chapters. Before I switch to Izuku. But I'm setting things up for down the road. So, I can pass it on to Izuku, when the time is right.

In fact, I have some plans in the future. Involving some of the characters from MHA in the fanfic. Because some you will not be expecting to be princesses.

So keep tuning in to find out, what's going to happen next.

Chapter 2: North Atlantic Kingdom

Picking up a week or 2 and a few days, after the last chapter. We currently find Inko, Izuku, and the unknown mermaid. Making their way through the ocean towards the North Atlantic Mermaid Kingdom. Because Inko and Izuku were riding on a whale for the trip to the kingdom. While the mermaid swam alongside the whale. The reason behind, this was due to Inko not being sure. If she and Izuku would be able to make the trip by swimming. Since they haven't swam with their tails, before the trip.

But, first, let's turn back the clock by about a week or 2.

(Flashback)

A week, before the trip. We find Inko and the unknown woman in the Midoriya's apartment. Sitting in the Midoriya's living room.

"First off. Here you are my princess." Said the unknown woman, as she handed Inko the pearl.

"Thank you," Inko said, as she opened her necklace and put the pearl in it. "By the way, I didn't get your name?

"My name is Natsumi. My princess." Said Natsumi, introducing herself with a bow.

"Well then. Thank you, Natsumi. For bringing me my pearl to me." Said Inko, once again thanking Natsumi for bringing her pearl to her. "Oh, and can you please drop the formal greeting, Inko will do." Since she was not used to being treated like royalty.

"By the way, where is your son? Since I was told you had 1 and I would like to meet him." Asked Natsumi, as she looked around the apartment. Hoping to find Izuku.

"He's most likely at the park, with his friends." Said Inko, thinking about where her son could be at the moment. "If you would like to meet him. We can go and pick him up." Inko added, if Natsumi wanted to go with her to pick him up.

When they heard the front door of the apartment open. Causing them to turn in the direction of the front door of the apartment. Only for them to see, Izuku walked in with scrapes and bruises.

"I just tripped and fell." Said Izuku, hoping Inko would believe him. As for Natsumi, she didn't believe him. Since the scrapes and bruises didn't look like something, that would simply be caused by tripping on something.

"Okay then. Let's get you cleaned up." Said Inko, as she began to lead Izuku away to get him cleaned up.

"Inko. Before you go." Said Natsumi, from where she was sitting on the couch. As Inko turned to look at her. "Is it possible for us to talk about something? Later tonight, after Izuku has gone to bed."

"Sure thing. Natsumi." Said Inko, as she went back guiding Izuku to the bathroom to get him cleaned up.

Later that night, after Izuku had gone to bed. We currently find Inko and Natsumi in the living room of the apartment.

"So, what is it? That you wanted to talk about?" Asked Inko, curious about what Natsumi wanted to ask.

"Inko. Let me be honest with you." Said Natsumi, wondering how to put it. "I believe someone is picking on Izuku." Causing Inko to gasp at the thought of someone picking on Izuku.

"Izuku..." Said Inko, as she thought, on the idea of someone attacking Izuku. When thought hit her. "How can you tell the difference between someone, who has tripped and someone who has been attacked?" Inko asked with a bit of suspicion in her voice.

"The reason is, that I snuck out of the kingdom, and onto land a lot. When I was a teenager." Natsumi said, sheepishly. Trying to act nonchalant, about what she did as a teenager. While Inko could only roll her eyes, at Natsumi's answer. "Can I also put something on the table? Like maybe taking some time away, from everything. Like visiting the North Atlantic Kingdom. Will give Izuku, either the confidence to tell you what's going on. Since you'll be needing to visit there anyway." Causing Inko to sigh and nod, in understanding. Since she would need to make the trip to the North Atlantic anyway. So, she would need to take Izuku along with her for the trip.

"I'll talk to Izuku tomorrow, about us taking a trip to the kingdom, with you. As a way for us to get away with everything." Said Inko, thinking on it.

"Take your time, we're in no rush, to get there." Said Natsumi, getting a nod from Inko.

"So..." Said Inko, after thinking that it was time for her to ask some questions of her own. "What sort of stuff, will I be doing? When I take the throne of North Atlantic?" A little curious about her duties outside of her just protecting the North Atlantic Ocean.

"Not much. Other than being there, for certain events and other royal duties. That requires you having to be there.." Said Natsumi, as Inko nodded her head in understanding. "Though, we may have to do. Your Coming of Age Ceremony." Causing Inko to gain a confused look on her face, when she heard Natsumi mention the Coming of Age Ceremony.

"What is the Coming of Age Ceremony?" Said Inko, as she became a bit curious about the ceremony.

"We can worry about that. When we get to the castle." Said Natsumi, from where she was sitting. Hoping to avoid explaining the ceremony to Inko.

"Okay then." Said Inko, since she was still curious about the Coming of Age Ceremony.

After that, Inko and Natsumi continued talking for a while longer. Before they mutually agreed, that it was time for them to go to bed. After Inko had noticed the time.

The next morning, during breakfast. Inko told Izuku, during breakfast. That they would be going on a trip to the North Atlantic Mermaid Kingdom. In about a week or 2, and that they'll be gone for a few weeks. Which Izuku nodded, while Inko had noticed, that Izuku had perked up a bit.

From there, Inko went and filled out the paperwork needed to pull Izuku, from his elementary school for a few weeks. While Natsumi arranged some form of transport for the 3. Since she had a feeling, that it was going to be a difficult swim for Izuku and Inko. Since the 2 of them, had never actually tried swimming with their tails, before.

Eventually, the day came, for Izuku, Inko, and Natsumi's departure for the North Atlantic. Where the 3 went to the beach and dove into the ocean. Where Inko and Natsumi became mermaids. While Izuku became a merman.

From there, Natsumi helped Izuku and Inko, with learning how to swim with their tails. Until the 2 of them had the basics down. Since they needed to be in deeper water, for them to try swimming with their tails.

Once Inko and Izuku had the basics down. They started heading further out into the ocean. Where they met up with a whale. That Natsumi had arranged to help them get to the North Atlantic Mermaid Kingdom.

Which lead back to where we currently find Inko, Izuku, and Natsumi. Along with a possible few days into the trip. Heading to the North Atlantic Mermaid Kingdom on the back of a whale. Making small talk along the way. Until Natsumi noticed, a green glow in the distance.

Then Natsumi gently petted the whale, in a way, as if asking the whale to stop. Once the whale had stopped, she turned to Inko and Izuku. "Inko, Izuku." Said Natsumi, as she called to the 2 of them. Which caused the 2 to look at Natsumi. "Do you see, that green glow in the distance?" Asked them, while pointing in the direction of the green glow.

"Yes, Natsumi. We see the green glow. Why are you asking us, if we can see it?" Said Inko, answering Natsumi's question, with a question of her own.

"It's because that green glow is the North Atlantic Mermaid Kingdom." Said Natsumi, causing the 2 to perk up at the information, that they were almost at the castle. "So, just hang on for a bit longer." She called, back to the 2 of them. Which got a nod from Inko.

After finally reaching the castle. Which left Inko and Izuku even more speechless at the sight of the castle, as they got closer to the castle.

"Well. Here we are. The North Atlantic Kingdom." Said Natsumi, as she helped Inko and Izuku off the whale.

"It's breathtaking. Even more so, when we're this close to it." Said Inko, as she was staring in awe at the sight of the castle. While Izuku was doing the same thing.

"Just wait until you see the inside of the castle. It's even more breathtaking." Said Natsumi, while Inko and Izuku stared at her. When she said that the inside was even more breathtaking.

Before Natsumi turned to the whale and thanked it for the wonderful trip. After that, the whale swam off.

Then Natsumi turned to Inko and Izuku. "Now, then. Shall we go inside?" Asked Natsumi.

"Of course, Natsumi. Lead the way." Said Inko, as she, Izuku, and Natsumi swam into the castle.

Meanwhile in the castle of the North Atlantic. In the castle's festival hall. We currently find mermaids of the kingdom swimming about a random room, decorating for Inko and Izuku's arrival.

"What do you think the new princess and her son are like?" Asked a random mermaid, who was currently working on a set of decorations, to the mermaid next to her.

"I do not know? All that I heard, from the last princess. Before she passed on. Was that the new princess is a descendant of a previous princess and her husband." Replied the other mermaid, who was setting up some decorations.

While 1 of the mermaids in the room, had left to go get something. From somewhere else in the castle.

Meanwhile, back with Inko, Izuku, and Natsumi. After the 3 of them had swum into the castle. Inko and Izuku had once again become speechless at the sight of the inside of the castle. Though for Natsumi, she was currently expecting most of the kingdom to be there to greet them, as she looked around the room.

Eventually, Inko noticed, the way Natsumi had been acting. "Is something wrong, Natsumi?" Asked Inko, slightly worried from the way, that Natsumi was acting.

"I was expecting most of the kingdom, to be here to greet us. Since I said, that we were on our way." Said Natsumi, wondering where everyone was.

When Natsumi mentioned, that the castle was unusually quiet. Inko took notice of the silence as well and began wondering, where everyone was.

Before Inko thought of something. "Maybe they're in 1 of the rooms of the castle. Preparing something for our arrival." Said Inko, while Natsumi nodded her head in agreement.

Meanwhile, the mermaid, who had just left the festival hall to grab something. Had swam into the entrance hall. Where Natsumi, Inko and Izuku were in. She quickly took a look at the entrance of the castle. Only to quickly back pedal, out of view. Upon noticing Natsumi, with Inko and Izuku.

She quickly put her hands on the corner of the wall. Before she poked her head around the corner to get a better look at Natsumi, Inko, and Izuku. Only to move quickly out of sight. Unaware that Natsumi had noticed the mermaid out of the corner of her eye.

"Oh my god. Natsumi is back too soon. And we haven't finished preparing the welcome party for the princess and her son." The mermaid thought to herself, with her hands on her mouth. "I need to go and alert everyone and tell them. That they had arrived sooner, than expected."

Just as the mermaid was about to swim back to the room, where the mermaids were setting the party up. To let everyone know, that Natsumi is back, with the new princess and her son. "Who's over there?! Because I would like you to come out right now." Said Natsumi, in the direction of the mermaid. Causing the mermaid to freeze up. When she heard Natsumi call her out. With a sigh, the mermaid swam out of the hallway, coming.

After the mermaid swam up to the 3. All that Natsumi could say, was "Pearl?" sounding confused and surprised, upon seeing the mermaid swim up to the 3 of them. "What are you doing here? And where is everyone else?"

"Hello, Natsumi. How was the trip?" Said Natsumi, trying her best to hide, what everyone in the kingdom was up to.

"It was good." Said Natsumi, before her expression changed. "Though I would still like to know, where everyone is. Since I was expecting most of the kingdom to be here to greet us."

"Of course. We would forget to do something like this." Thought the Pearl, as she realized, that they had forgotten to put a lookout. In case Natsumi arrived earlier, than expected, with the new princess. Then Pearl realized something, that made her wonder. "Is the mermaid, next to you the next Green Pearl Princess?" Ask Pearl, from where she was floating.

Before Natsumi could answer, Inko had swam forward. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Pearl. My name is Inko Midoriya and I'll be the next Green Pearl Princess. And this is my son, Izuku. Who is currently hiding behind me." Said Inko, introducing herself and Izuku. Which had caused Pearl to finally notice Izuku. Who was hiding behind Inko. Since he was currently poking his head out a bit from Inko's side. "And to let you know, Pearl. My son will be taking over for me. When I finally decide to pass my throne on to him. According to the sea goddess." Upon hearing this. Both Natsumi and Pearl gained a look of surprise. Since this was the first time, that the kingdom. Would have a merman prince, succeeding the princess. When the princess decided to retire from her position.

"Well, then. It is a pleasure to meet both of you." Said Pearl, with a bow. Then she turned to Natsumi. "Natsumi?" Gaining Natsumi's attention. "Could you please follow me, will quick? So, that we can talk about something?"

"Of course, Pearl." Said Natsumi. Then she turned to Inko and Izuku. "Do you 2 mind, if you could stay right here? While Pearl and I talk about something." As she noticed, Pearl freaked out a bit.

"Of course. You and Pearl can talk about, whatever it is. Izuku and I will gladly stay right here." Said Inko, as she pulled Izuku a bit closer to her.

From there, Natsumi and Pearl swam to the other side of the room to talk. And from there, Pearl proceeded to explain to Natsumi. That the entire kingdom was throwing a party to welcome the princess and her son. And how the idea came to be. Along with explaining, that she was on her way to get some more decorations. When saw Natsumi, Inko, and Izuku. Which lead to the 2 of them having their current conversation. And during the whole conversation, Pearl could clearly see the irritation, that was starting to appear on Natsumi's face. Since the rest of the kingdom had failed to notify Natsumi about the change of plans. Before she would arrive at the castle, with Inko and Izuku.

"So let me see, if I understand everything so far?" Said Natsumi, as she recounted the conversation with Pearl, about what the 2 had just finished talking about. "So, did I miss anything?"

"Nope. That was everything as I explained it." Said Pearl, from where she was floating right next to her. "And it would also be greatly appreciated. If you can keep the 2 occupied for a few more hours. Since we still need to finish preparing for the party. And I was going to get something. When I saw you 3 arrive. Followed by you calling me out, when I was going to let everyone know. That you had arrived."

"Very well, then. I will play along. Since Inko and Izuku were going to be needing a tour of the castle anyway." Said Natsumi, as she looked at Pearl. Causing Pearl to perk up a bit. "But, only this once. Since it's a special occasion." Natsumi added, in a stern voice. While causing Pearl to rapidly nod her head.

From there, Pearl quickly swam off to get, what she came to get. Before she swam back to the room, where the party was being held.

While Natsumi and Pearl were talking. Inko and Izuku were currently taking in their surroundings and were in complete and utter awe, at what they were seeing before their very eyes. Before Inko noticed, Natsumi swimming over to the 2 of them.

"So...how did your conversation with Pearl go?" Asked Inko, curious about the conversation, that Natsumi and Pearl had.

"It went...well." Said Natsumi, while trying her best to not sound irritated. "Though, I did find out the reason. That the rest kingdom wasn't here to greet you and Izuku."

"Oh? And what is the reason, that they couldn't greet us?" Asked Inko, a little curious, about why no 1 was there to greet them.

"Apparently, some of the teenage mermaids decided to start talking about a welcoming party for you and Izuku. And it, kind of spiraled from there." Said Natsumi, with a sigh.

"Well, wasn't that nice and thoughtful of them to do." Said Inko, with a smile on her face.

"True. But..." Said Natsumi, before she let a sigh. "They didn't bother to notify me or leave a letter or something for when we arrived. That they were planning something like this.." As Inko agreed with her. That some form of notification should have been left for them. "So, I'm going to be giving you and Izuku a tour of the castle. Before we head for the party."

From there, Natsumi began giving the Inko and Izuku a tour of the castle.

While Natsumi was giving Inko and Izuku a tour of the castle. Pearl on the other hand, had returned to the room. Where the welcoming party was being put together, for Inko and Izuku. When 1 of the mermaids, that was helping to decorate the room. Decided to ask, what took her so long to get 1 item. Where Pearl proceeded to answer her question, by telling them. That Natsumi had returned with Inko and Izuku. Which caused everyone in the room to pick up the pace to get everything ready for the welcoming party.

An hour or 2 later, we currently find Natsumi, Inko, and Izuku making their way, to the throne room. So, that Natsumi could show them, where Inko would be doing a majority of her royal duties. And so far, Inko, and Izuku.

"And here's our final stop of the tour. Before we head to the welcoming party. The throne room." Said Natsumi, as she opened the doors to the throne room of the North Atlantic mermaid kingdom. Which made Inko and Izuku gain a look of aw, at how beautiful the throne room looked. "So...what do you think?" Asked Natsumi, upon seeing the look on Inko and Izuku's faces.

"It's breathtaking. And it might be the most beautiful room in the entire castle." Said Inko, as Izuku nodded, as he began exploring the room.

"You're right, about that. This is 1 of the more beautiful rooms in the castle." Said Natsumi, as she agreed with Inko, that this was 1 of the more colorful rooms in the castle.

After spending half an hour, with Inko and Izuku exploring the throne room. A mermaid swam into the room. Followed by the mermaid, quickly swimming over to Natsumi. Where the mermaid told Natsumi, that the party was ready, with Natsumi nodding in return.. From there, the mermaid left the room to go back to the room. Where the party was going to be held for Inko and Izuku. While Natsumi called Inko and Izuku over to her. So that she could tell them, that it was time for them to head for the room, that the party was being held in. With Inko asking Natsumi, to guide her and Izuku to the room, to where the party was going to be held in. Which Natsumi agreed to be their guide once again.

Upon reaching the room. Natsumi proceeded to guide Inko and Izuku to a back entrance of the room. Where Inko and Izuku saw a curtain, that let them vaguely make out the room on the curtain.

"Now, wait here, behind the curtain. Until I call for you to come through the curtain." Natsumi said, floating by the curtain. Getting a nod from Inko. From there, Natsumi swam through the curtain. While Inko and Izuku made their way, so that they were behind the curtains.

While Inko and Izuku were waiting. Inko decided to ask Izuku, how he was enjoying the trip so far. Where he said to Inko, that he was enjoying the trip so far. Which made Inko smile, and know that she had made the right choice.

"Now, without a further ado. I formally introduce our new princess Inko Midoriya and her son, Izuku Midoriya." Said Natsumi.

"Ready, Izuku?" Asked Inko, getting a nod from Izuku. As they both went through the curtain. Only to be surprised by how many mermaids in the room. That it kind of gave Inko a shock. As for Izuku, he hid behind Inko. While poking his head out from behind her. "I didn't expect, there to be so many mermaids in the room." Thought Inko, to herself. "But I need to do this."

After getting her thoughts together. Inko began her speech to the kingdom. First off, by introducing herself and her son, Izuku. Who peeked out from behind Inko. Before quickly hiding behind her again. Much to Inko's laughter at her son's antics. As for the rest of the kingdom. They just found him adorable.

Followed by Inko explaining her and her son's history of their family and why Inko became the next Green Pearl Princess of the North Atlantic and that Izuku would succeed her, 1 day. They were shocked to know, that their goddess would intervene. In Inko and Izuku's lives to give. Inko's son a better chance in the future. But, they were really surprised, when Inko said, that she and Izuku were descendants of Rina Toin. One of the previous mermaid princesses of the kingdom. Who was born a decade or 2, before the start of the 21st century. Eventually, Inko ended her speech by saying. That she'll do her best to be the princess. That they deserve to have. Which got loads of cheers from the mermaids of the kingdom.

From there the party began. As Inko took her seat on the throne set up in the room for the princess and watched the party, with Izuku by her side. But after a while Inko decided to get up and swim around to meet with those of the kingdom, with Izuku right behind her.

While Inko and Izuku were swimming around and meeting the inhabitants of the kingdom. They were getting a few stares. But, that was mainly towards Izuku, as there was something about him, that set off the mothering instincts, in a lot of the older mermaids.

Eventually, the welcome party came to an end, around 10 PM. And we currently find Inko, Izuku, and Natsumi, currently making their way to the bedroom. That bedroom, that would serve as Inko and Izuku's bedroom. Until they were able to prepare a bedroom for Izuku, at the castle.

Though right now, we currently find Inko guiding an almost asleep Izuku, to their room. While making small talk, with Natsumi. But right now, they were talking about Inko's Coming of Age Ceremony.

"So, are you sure? That you want to go through with your Coming of Age Ceremony?" Asked Natsumi.

"Yes. I'm positive. That I want to go through with it." Said Inko. "Plus we could invite the other princesses if we want. Since it'll be a good way for me to meet the other princesses." Natsumi nodded her head in understanding. Where Inko was going with this.

"Very well, then. I'll start making preparations for your Coming of Age Ceremony. Along with sending out the invites to the other princesses." Said Natsumi. "By the way, Inko. When is your birthday?"

"It's July 4th. And Izuku's here, is July 15th." Said Inko, as they continued swimming to the room.

"Thank you, princess." Said Natsumi, as the 3 of them finally reached Inko's and Izuku's room for the night. "Well then. Good night, Inko and Izuku."

"Good night, to you too, Natsumi." Said Inko. "Now if you'll excuse me. I have to get my son to bed." Inko added, as she lifted up Izuku into her arms. Who proceeded to fall completely asleep on Inko's shoulder.

From there, Inko and Natsumi proceeded to separate for the evening. While Inko swam into her bedroom, with Izuku sound asleep on her shoulders.

Then Inko proceeded to swim to 1 side of the green seashell bed. Then she proceeded to lift and move the covers on the bed. Followed by her gently lifting Izuku off her shoulder and gently placed him on the bed. Before she lifted the covers and tucked Izuku into bed.

Then she swam over to her side of the bed and got under the covers as well. Before she took 1 more look at her sleeping son. Before going off to sleep as well.

While Inko and Izuku had gone to sleep. Lucia was trying to track down the Aquamarine Pearl. Since the next Aquamarine Princess had yet to be born. And couldn’t be born without the pearl. Because she was getting a reading from Japan for the Aquamarine Pearl.

Unaware of the fact, that the pearl in question. Had wound up in the hands of her friend Hanon’s descendants. Along with Hanon’s Pearl Tear Necklace.

Chapter 3: Lead up to the Ceremony

Picking up a month, after Inko and Izuku’s first trip to the North Atlantic Mermaid Kingdom.

In the throne room, of the North Pacific Mermaid Kingdom. Home of the pink mermaids. We currently find 2 pink mermaids sitting on the throne. Though 1 looked around Izuku’s age.

While the older mermaid had auburn brown hair, brown eyes, with a perpetual blush on her face. Who had a pink tail. While she was wearing a light rose colored seashell bra. She had red pearl like bracelets on her lower right arm, and on the end of her tail, just above her fin. While having a pink bracelet on her upper left arm. She even had a pink seashell light pink pearl necklace, with pink wings around her neck.

As for the mermaid, that was around Izuku’s age. Looked exactly like her mother. Even in her mermaid form. Except that she had pads on all 5 fingers for both of her hands.

But right now. The mother and daughter were enjoying their time together.. With the older mermaid was gently rubbing her daughter’s hair. While the older mermaid’s daughter was lying her head on the mother’s tail and was taking a nap.

While her daughter was taking her nap. The older mermaid was currently using the time, to think about their current situation on land. Where she helped run a construction company, with her husband. That was doing very poorly and was affecting their income.

 “Maybe I should ask Aqua Lucia. If it is possible to make Kenji into a merman.” Thought the older mermaid. Before she looked at her sleeping daughter, with a smile on her face. “At least, this way. We’ll be able to raise Ochako, without worrying about our finances.”

Then there was a knock at the door. “Come in.” Said the older mermaid, as she turned her attention to the main door in the throne room.

“Excuse me, Lady Shoko. I’m sorry to disturb you and your daughter, Ochako’s time together.” Said a mermaid, as she swam into the room. “But an invitation has arrived for you from the North Atlantic Mermaid Kingdom.” As the mermaid handed Shoko the letter.

“Oh.” Said Shoko, surprised to hear, that she was receiving an invitation to something. “And why is it addressed to me?”

“Apparently, the invitation is for Princess Inko’s Coming of Age Ceremony. Where she would also like to meet her fellow princesses.” Said the mermaid, as Shoko started reading the letter. Before spotted something unusual in it.

“But the previous Green Pearl Princess just died, a few months ago. How is it possible for Inko to be old enough for the ceremony?” Asked Shoko, with a raised eyebrow and a look of confusion on her face.

“I know, that this isn’t my place.” Said the mermaid. “But, maybe it’s something, that only Sea Goddess Aqua Lucia knows. And that you should go princess Inko’s Coming of Age Ceremony. Where you can ask Inko the questions, that you want to ask her.” As Shoko nodded her head.

“Very well, then. I will go and I will take Ochako with me. When it is time to go.” Said Shoko, before she looked at the invitation to see, if there was a date for the event. Which indeed it did say the date for the event. Which was July 4th and that was 3 months away, from the current date.

“Very well, then, princess. Would you like me to send a reply to them? Telling them, that you’ll be attending the event, with your daughter..” Asked the mermaid.

“Of course. You can send a reply letter. And tell them, that I’ll be attending it, with my daughter, Ochako.” Said Shoko, before she became curious about the new princess of the North Atlantic. “Are there any rumors floating around about the new princess of the North Atlantic?”

Then she felt Ochako beginning to stir. “Mom. What’s going on?” Asked Ochako, tiredly.

“Oh, nothing much, Ochako.” Said Shoko. “Except, that we have been invited to the Coming of Ceremony of another princess. So, this July. We’re going to the kingdom of the North Atlantic. To be a special guest, at another princess’s Coming of Age Ceremony.

With a yawn, Ochako Said, “Okay, mom.” Before she proceeded to go back to taking her nap. While Shoko and Ochako went back to enjoying their time together.

While Shoko started getting a feeling, that it might be a good idea to bring Ochako. Along with her, for the new princess’s ceremony. Since she was getting a feeling, that she was going to meet someone. That would have an affect on her daughter’s future.

Now let’s turn our attention to the castle of the Arctic Mermaid Kingdom of the Indigo mermaids.

Where we currently find a periwinkle haired mermaid, with a deep blue seashell bra. Along with having the same accessories as Shoko. Except that the 2 pearl bracelets on her right arm and above her tail fin, were white. While the armband on her upper left arm was blue.

Swimming about the castle, with the same letter, that Shoko had received in her hand. Looking for her hyperactive and highly curious daughter.

“Where is she?” Said the mermaid, after she had just swam out of another room in the castle, in an attempt to find her daughter.

“Excuse me, Princess Aiiro. Are you looking for someone?” Asked a mermaid, causing Aiiro to look at the mermaid.

“I’m looking for my daughter. Have you seen her by any chance?” Said Aiiro, who was hoping, that her daughter hadn’t annoyed her caretaker. That she would leave her with, when she was dealing with important things, that involved the kingdom. “Because I wanted to talk to her about something.” Causing the mermaid to think of where the princess’s daughter could be.

“She might be in the main hall. Annoying the teenage mermaids, with her endless questions and hyperactivity. Or she may be in her bedroom, with or without her caretaker. For when you are too busy to be with her.” Said the mermaid, causing Aiiro to pinch the bridge of her nose. Due to her daughter’s curiosity and hyperactivity getting the better of her at times.

“Thank you, very much for the info, Cindy.” Said Aiiro, before she swam off to find her daughter.

A few minutes later. Aiiro found her daughter in the main hall, annoying a group of teenage mermaids, with her endless curiosity, hyperactivity, and endless questions.

Though if 1 looked at the girl. She was 2 years older than izuku. She periwinkle hair, with royal blue eyes. Along with having all the same accessories as her mother Aiiro.

“Nejire, could you come here. I need to talk to you about something.” Said Aiiro, calling to her daughter.

“Okay, mom.” Said Nejire, as she quickly swam over to her mother. While the mermaids, that she had been bothering. Let out a long-held sigh of relief. Before they swam off to do, their own things. ”Is there something, that you need to talk to me about?” Asked Nejire, as she swam up to her mother.

“Well, Nejire. I’ve been invited to the Green Pearl Princess Coming of Age Ceremony.” Said Aiiro, to her daughter. “And I would like you to come along with me. When I go to the North Atlantic Kingdom, for the ceremony and to meet the new princess of the North Atlantic Kingdom.” As Aiiro explained, what the letter had said.

“So, mom. Is there something else, that you wanted to talk to me about? Since it’s going to involve the kingdom of the North Atlantic.” Asked Nejire. Aiiro knew, that Nejire would start bouncing around the room, with what she was going to say next.

“Well, I would like for you to join me. When I go there, for the princess’s coming of age.” Said Aiiro, as she answered her daughter’s question.

Which got a squeal of joy, from her daughter. As Nejire did the mermaid version of a backflip in excitement. While Aiiro let out a sigh. Before Aiiro grabbed her daughter’s hand and brought Nejire back in front of her.

“May I continue, honey?” Said Aiiro, getting Nejire’s attention. Who nodded her head. “While we are there. I will also be having a conversation, with the current princess, about something. So, please try to be on your best behavior. While we are there.” Aiiro added, knowing that due to her daughter’s curious nature. She might drive others up a wall.

“I’ll do my best.” Said Nejire, from where she was floating.

“Very well, then. I’ll allow, that as an answer.” Said Aiiro, with a smile on her face. “Very well, then. You may go back to what you were doing before I arrived. While I go and write a reply letter to the current princess of the North Atlantic.” From there, Aiiro and Nejire went back to what they were doing. Before they had their conversation.

Once back in the throne room. Aiiro let out a sigh, as she took her seat on her throne.

“I really need to get Nejire some friends to hang out with her.” Said Aiiro, as she had noticed the look of relief on the face of the mermaids, that her daughter was accidentally annoying. Due to her hyperactivity, curiosity, and endless questions. “Maybe I can ask the princess of the North Atlantic and the other kingdoms. If it’s possible, if any of them have children. That they can hang out with Nejire.” As she let out another sigh. Before she began writing her reply letter, to the North Atlantic Kingdom.

Meanwhile in the Purple mermaid kingdom, of the Southern Ocean.

We currently find 2 mermaids in the castle’s throne room. Enjoying their time together playing music. Once again a mother and daughter spending time together. With the older mermaid’s daughter being about Izuku’s age.

They shared the same purple tail and seashell bra. Along with having 2 purple gem bracelets on their right arm and the end of their tails, just above their fins. With an armband on their upper left arm. While in their mermaid form, they did share the same shade of purple. Which was lighter shade of purple in their mermaid form and a dark purple in their human form.

Though they did share the Quirk. Which were earphone jacks.

But, currently, the mother and princess of the kingdom was listening to her daughter sing, in the throne room. Since her daughter had discovered her song, about a month ago and she was currently listening to her daughter singing her song. Eventually, the daughter finished singing her song.

“That was wonderful, Kyoka.” Said the older mermaid, clapping her hands at daughters singing.

“Thank you, mom.” Said Kyoka, with a smile on her face.

Then they heard a knock on the door. “Come in.” Said the older mermaid.

As the door opened. “I’m sorry, to interrupt you and your daughter’s time together. Princess Mika.” Said a purple mermaid, before swam into the room. “But you have a letter, from the North Atlantic Kingdom.” As she handed the letter to Mika. Who took the letter, from the mermaid.

Followed by Mika opened the letter and read the contents of the letter. Before she raised 1 of her eyebrows, as she read the letter.

“Is something wrong, princess?” Said the mermaid, became curious about the letter.

“It appears, to be an invitation to Princess Inko’s Coming of Age Ceremony.” Said Mika, as she became curious about the invitation. “And it’s happening on July 4th.”

“Will you be going to the ceremony, princess? And will you be bringing Kyoka with you, as well?” Asked the mermaid, out of curiosity.

From there, Mika thought about it for a bit. Before coming to her decision. Since her gut was telling her to go and bring Kyoka with her. Because the feeling was telling her, that the child of the new Green Pearl Princess was going to play a vital role in her daughter’s future.

“Well, I might as well. Since something's telling me. That the child of the new Green Pearl Princess. Is going to play a vital role in the future.” Said Mika. “Especially since I would like to meet the new Green Pearl Princess. Since the last princess died a few months ago.”

“Very well, then, Princess. I will go and write the reply letter and send it off right away.” Said the mermaid, before she swam off to write the letter and send it off.

“Are we really going to visit another kingdom?” Asked Kyoka, curiously.

“Yes, Kyoka. We will be going to visit another kingdom.” Said Mika. “And since this will be your duty in the future. When you finally take over the kingdom, from me in the future.”

Finally, we come to the castle of the Yellow Pearl Kingdom in the South Pacific Ocean. And we currently find a mermaid in her late 20s in the castle’s library reading through the castle’s library. Hoping to find the answer to the dreams. That she has been having about a little girl in the human world.

And like the other princess. The mermaid has a similar outfit. Since she was wearing a yellow seashell bra, with 2 yellow pearl bracelets each on her right arm and the end of her tail before her fin. And a yellow armband on her upper left arm. Though her hair was blonde and in a low ponytail.

But right now, her frustration was showing itself, as she closed another book and added it to the ever-growing stack of books, as she let out a very long sigh.

“Another dead end.” Said the mermaid, with a growl of frustration. “And still no answer to the dreams, that I’ve been having.” Before she brought her hands to her head and ran them frantically through her hair in frustration. “And what is so important, about the little girl in my dreams?! That she has to keep showing up in them.” Before she dropped her head on the table, with her hands above her head. As she thought back to the image of the little girl and how miserable she looked, with a look, that said she needed to be loved and a lot of it.

“It’s so frustrating!” cried the mermaid. “But, still who is the little girl?” As the image of the girl flowed back into her thoughts. Since the little girl in question, had cat silted golden yellow eyes, with pale ash blonde hair in 2 messy buns. “Goddess Lucia, what are you trying to tell me, in my dreams?” Before she once again slammed her head on the table.

Before she heard a knock on the door of the library. “Come in.” Said the mermaid, as she let out another tired sigh.

Upon opening the door, a yellow mermaid swam into the room, with a letter in her hand. But, upon seeing the table. That the princess was sitting at. The mermaid could only let out a sigh.

“Still no progress on solving, your unusual dreams?” Said the mermaid, seeing the tired and exhausted state of the princess. While the princess could only nod her head. “Maybe you should go and get some rest, princess.”

“I’d love to. But, I need to know the meaning of my dream.” Said the princess, with an exhausted sigh with her head on the table. “By the way, Krystal. Is there a reason for you finding me?” Asked princess, in a muffled voice, due to the table.

“Oh, right.” Said Krystal, remembering the reason, that she came to find the princess in the first place. “I came to deliver a letter to you, princess Coral. From the kingdom of the North Atlantic.” As Coral pushed herself up.

“Maybe this is just what I need to get my mind off of my dreams, for a while.” Said Coral,  as she took the letter from Krystal and started reading it. When she finished reading the letter. She had a look of surprise.

“Well, princess. What does the letter say?” Asked Krystal, curiously.

“Apparently, it’s an invitation to Princess Inko’s Coming of Age ceremony.” Said Coral, to Krystal, as she continued reading the letter. “And she wants to use the ceremony as an opportunity to meet the other princesses as well.”

“Will you be going then?” Asked Krystal, curiously.

“If it’ll help me, get my mind off of the dreams. That I’ve been having. Then I’ll be going to Princess Inko’s Coming of Age Ceremony.” Said Coral, as she put the letter down on the table.

“Then is it safe to assume? That you will be going then, princess?” Asked Krystal, wondering if the Coral was going.

“Yes, I will be going to Princess Inko’s Coming of Age Ceremony.” Said Coral, as she looked at Krystal.

“Do you want me to send a reply letter to the Kingdom of the North Atlantic?” Asked Krystal, as she waited for Coral’s answer.

Before she paused, at the door. “And I’ll be coming back after a few hours. So, you can straighten up the area. Just don’t put anything away. Since I’ll be coming right back.” Before Coral left through the doors, to write the letter and to get something to eat.

“Very well, then.” Said Krystal, with a bow.

Before she began cleaning up the table. While Coral went off to get something to eat.

Meanwhile, in the Kingdom of the North Atlantic. A week or 2 after the letters had arrived at the other kingdoms.

But first let me catch you up on what’s been happening to Inko and Izuku. Since the last chapter. Inko had settled into her new role as princess of the North Atlantic Kingdom. While Izuku settled into his position as a prince, as well. Though he mainly stuck around Inko. When they were at the castle. Since he had an unintentional effect of setting off the older mermaids motherly instincts. Inko had also asked, Natsumi to be her personal aide to help her with certain things. Until she could fully learned about her duties and had adapted to them. But Inko was making progress at it.

But right now. We currently find Inko sitting in front of her vanity mirror. While having mermaids of the kingdom swim around Inko. Who was having her dress fitted for her Coming of Age Ceremony. With Izuku currently sitting on the bed, watching the whole thing. Unfortunately, the mermaids had hit a snag, with the dress.

“It’s still not right.” Growled 1 of the mermaids. “It’s like the shades of green, that we have, are not bringing the outfit together.”

“It’s like the colors are not agreeing with the princess for some reason.” Said another mermaid, frustrated that they were not making progress. “It’s like none of the colors, that we have in the kingdom are working on her.”

“Maybe you should ask, the other kingdoms? To see, if they can send some of their kingdom colors our way?” Asked Inko, wondering if her idea would help the 3 frustrated mermaids in any way.

“At this point, we might as well ask anyway. Since this is our 20th attempt at the outfit and the colors not working.” Said the mermaid, as she sighed in defeat. While the other mermaids nodded in agreement.

When there was a knock on the door.

“Come in.” Said Inko, from where she was sitting.

Causing the door to open and Natsumi to swim into the room with some letters in hand.

“Good afternoon, Natsumi.” Said Inko, turning on her chair in the direction of Natsumi.

“Good afternoon, to you to Inko.” Said Natsumi, greeting Inko. Then she saw the state of Inko’s Ceremonial Dress. Followed by turning in the direction of the tired and frustrated mermaids. “Still working on Inko’s dress?” The mermaids gave a tired nod.

“At this point, we might take Princess Inko’s suggestion.” Said 1 of the mermaids, letting out an exhausted sigh.

“Which is?” Asked Natsumi, curiously.

“Ask the other kingdoms to send some of their colors our way. Because we got the outfit right. But the problem is the colors. Since they are the source of the problem. And this has never happened before.” Said 1 of the 3 mermaids.

“Well, you 3 are in luck. I came to deliver the reply letters, from the other kingdoms to Inko.” Said Natsumi. “So, I’ll send another batch of letters out, requesting them to send some colors of their kingdoms our way.”

Which gave caused the 3 mermaids to give a grateful, thank you. Before the 3 mermaids left the room, to let out a sigh of relief and get some rest. After spending hours working on Inko’s princess outfit.

After the 3 mermaids had left the room. Natsumi handed the letters to Inko. Who, in return, thanked her for bringing her the letters. From there, Inko opened the letters and began reading them. One by one.

Each letter from the North Pacific, South Pacific, Southern, and Arctic Ocean Kingdoms gave a yes. That they would love to come to meet her and stay for her Coming of Age Ceremony.

Unfortunately, the replies from the kingdoms of the South Atlantic and the Indian Ocean Kingdoms. Were a bit different. With them explaining a reason, why their princess couldn’t make it. The letter from the South Atlantic, explained. That their princess had yet to be born. Since the Pearl needed for the birth of the new princess. Had been lost in the human world. As for the kingdom of the Indian Ocean. They explained, that their princess and her daughter had disappeared in the human world and had not been heard from..

“Well, this is troubling.” Said Inko, with a look of concern on her face.

“What is?” Asked Natsumi, slightly concerned about the way Inko spoke.

“Apparently, the princesses of every kingdom can make it. And they’ll be bringing their daughters with them. Except that the princess of the South Pacific will be coming alone. Besides the South Atlantic and Indian.” Said Inko. “But here’s the disturbing part. For the South Atlantic, their new princess has yet to be born. Because the pearl is lost in the human world. As for the Indian Ocean. Their princess is missing, along with her daughter.”

“That is disturbing.” Natsumi said, kind of surprised. That the princess of the South Atlantic had yet to be born, and the Aquamarine pearl is missing in the human world. While the princess of the Indian Ocean is missing, along with her daughter. “Usually, the Princesses can take care of themselves. But, this is very unusual.” As Inko nodded her head.

Before the 2 heard a stomach growl. Causing them to turn in Izuku’s direction.

“To let you know, Natsumi. We’ve been in here for the past 5 hours. So, lunch does sound good, right about now.” Said Inko, letting out a light chuckle.

“Would you like me to fetch you 2 lunch? While the 3 mermaids continue working on your dress?” Asked Natsumi, trying to be helpful.

“No, thanks. Natsumi.” Said Inko, as she stood up from the chair, that she had been sitting on. “Besides me and Izuku need to get up and move around a bit. Since we have been in here for quite a while.” Getting a nod from Natsumi. Before she, Inko and Izuku left the room to get lunch for Inko and Izuku.

Meanwhile, in the void. We currently find Lucia floating in the void. Watching Inko and Izuku, during the dress

“Inko and Izuku are really settling into their roles, as the princess and prince of the North Atlantic,” said Lucia, with a smile on her face. “Now, what to do for Inko’s Age of Ceremony. Since it’s a very rare and special occasion.” She said, as she thought on it.

After thinking only for a while. “Maybe Inko and Izuku would like a surprise, from their great grandparents for Inko’s Coming of Age Ceremony? And hopefully, Rina and Masahiro won’t mind visiting their grandkids? During the Ceremony, even as spirits.” She said, with a smile on her face. Hoping the 2 would be happy to visit their descendants, even as spirits.

Before she remembered to continue her search for the aquamarine pearl. Since she had narrowed it down to the nation of Japan. And the search was taking a while. Since she was taking her time to scan the nation for the Aquamarine Pearl.
