After the solver things, N had to get used to his new life with Uzi. Not having V around hurt him quite a lot but he knew she died for good cause...
So far Uzi kept N inside. He didn't mind it at all! He got to hang out with Uzi and draw! It would be nice to stretch his wings but Uzi was so scared about something happening.
Even after tons of him trying to reassure her everything was fine she just refused.
Khan still hated his robotic guts but it wasn't as bad as it was before!
N was especially bored when Uzi had school and left him. He would draw the cool things in Uzi's room. N was a 'pro artist' by now and Uzi definitely fed his ego with her praise and compliments.
That afternoon Uzi got home and went to her room and saw N drawing at her desk. "Hey doofus" she walked over to him. "What are you up to?"
"UZI!" He squealed in excitement "I've been drawing like always!" He smiled and showed her the 20+ poorly drawn drawings.
"Wow. That is sooooo... Good!" Uzi smiled awkwardly. "Thank you! These are my best ones yet" he said proudly not picking up on her sarcasm.
Uzi set her bag down and plopped down on her messy bed. "Wanna watch some anime?"
He beamed at her and nodded. Uzi turned to her computer and booted it up before putting on some anime.
N watched the show while Uzi worked on her new and improved rail gun. His tail wagged as if he was in a trance.
He honestly loved his new life despite being home all the time... Maybe...
"Uh... Hey Uzi?" Uzi hummed in response. "Do you think... I could go to school with you?"
Uzi paused and froze before she spoke. "I'm just worried N... What if something happens..."
"I know! But I'll be with you! We can face anything that comes our way! Right Zi?" He smiled softly at her.
"I'll think about it ok dork?" She replied with a wave of her hand to keep up her angsty demeanor while internally she was in a panic.
"Yay! Thank you Uzi!"
"I didn't say yes!"
"You practically did-" N was cut off by Uzi throwing a pen at him that he caught "ok ok-" he laughed.

Uzi wasn't actually worried something would happen, she was worried he wouldn't need her anymore. The thought of him being around other people and getting the chance to see that she's nothing special it Terrified her.
She knew it sounded awful but she didn't want to share him. He was the only drone who was actually nice to her.
They went through a lot together and she knew that he wouldn't actually get rid of her.
Right?...
Whatever. It didn't matter. The thoughts still lingered in the back of her head as she tried to block it out. She didn't want to think about N leaving her but the thought came naturally as if it was messing with her.
What if some girl comes and he falls head over heels for her? Leaves uzi in the dust without a second thought!?
He couldn't just forget about her right?
…Right?...
She subconsciously tapped her foot on the hard floor beneath her.

N caught on to something being wrong pretty quickly and became concerned.
'She must really be worried something will happen' he thought to himself... 'if I ask she is gonna lie... Might as well try'
"Uzi? You good?" He looked at the foot that was tapping. "You only tap your foot when you're nervous...
"Yes yes- just struggling with the new gun" she lied.
"I'm always here for you..." He smiled at her.
Uzi took a deep breath and looked at him "I know..."
Uzi knew she was being irrational... N had always been there, what would make him leave now? She felt bad that he was locked up at home all day so she sighed and reluctantly said: "you can come to school... But we need to set some rules."
N looked up with the biggest smile "YAYYYY '' his yell literally rumbled the room and Uzi covered her ears. "ROBO-JESUS N-" Uzi broke out into laughter.
"Why are you laughing at my excitement!?" He fake pouted.
"I've never seen someone, anyone, so excited to go to school, you dork" she teased.

Uzi wrote down the rules.
"Ok listen up because this is important!" Uzi glared at the ADHD boy in front of her.
"Got it! Pay attention." He looked up at her.
"Rule 1, you stay within 10 feet of me. I don't want you getting lost at my shitty school." That rule was followed by a nod from N.
"Rule 2, you need to stay quiet in class! My grades are already struggling and I don't need you taking all my attention." Another nod but N was looking at one of her posters and was spacing out.
"N! Pay attention moron!" N snapped his attention back to her and muttered a quiet 'sorry'
"Rule 3, no killing. This one is pretty self explanatory. I know you quit but I have to make sure." N smiled and nodded.
"Rule 4 is you have to listen to the teachers and adults. I don't even know if I'm supposed to bring you so just behave." N nodded and his tail flicked behind him softly.
"And lastly rule 5, you are going to actually be doing the school work. You aren't the brightest in the bunch and it could definitely benefit you." N forged an offended expression and put a hand to his chest.
"I am very smart!"
"Factor X² + 7X - 30" Uzi looked at his confused expression with a grin.
"You are speaking nonsense!" He defended.
"And there's my point." She chuckled and laid in bed.
"That's not fair! You probably don't even know the answer!"
"(X - 3)(X + 10)" She said in a matter of fact tone.
N rolled his eyes and Uzi laughed.
"Goodnight dork," she said as he hung from her ceiling.
"Goodnight Uzi!"
And just like that the two fell asleep. A quiet fell through the house as all the residents were asleep.
What could possibly go wrong?
