Kai was sitting in the principals office, just a few hours ago he had gotten into a fight on his first day of school.
Kai was in the bathroom,when he had came out of the stall he was in he had seen a snake hybrid picking on a younger bird hybrid, Kai had gotten so mad that he didn’t even realize what he was doing until it was over.
Kai groaned “Am I going to be suspended?” He asked, staring at the floor, his tail would flick a little and he tried to keep himself composed,he couldn’t get suspended on his first day at a new school, Nya would kill him if he did.
The principal looking Kai in the eye and slid a small pamphlet over to the teen before explaining “If you would like to not get suspended I recommend going through that pamphlet,it’s an alternative option we have for our students.”
Kai glanced at the pamphlet, it looked like it was made by a 7th grader with the font being used on it and the big bold text, he would begrudgingly skim through it, the basis of it was a three month visit to a ranch doing labor “Isn’t this technically illegal-“ he said before the principal cut him off “you’ll be paid a amount of money for your work.” Kai paused for a moment, he could use some extra money since he was barely scraping by to pay rent since He can Nya were living on their own. Kai would shift a bit in the seat he was in, before he silently sighed and signed on a line agreeing to the arrangement
