10:49PM.
Momo flew out of the apartment, pulling on her sneakers. It took Sana a single pretty look and pouty lips to make her rush to the nearest grocery store behind her favorite baskin robbins can.
"11 minutes till close, so you better hurry up, Hirai", Momo thought, almost tumbling down the stairs.
10:51PM.
She stopped at the nearest traffic light, which, unfortunately, turned red. However, Momo decided to ignore it and continued running, not paying attention to the car horns. One of the cars splashed through a puddle right in front of her, drenching her with icy water. For a few seconds, she was numb.
"Fuck, Momo, you won't make it in time and your girl will be upset. Run for your life, dumbass".
She made it to the second intersection and then to the third. At her usual pace, she would have taken another ten minutes to walk, but she didn't have that much time.
10:54PM.
Momo didn't feel her legs anymore, but she kept running.
"Why didn't we think about it when we rented an apartment without a shop under the windows? Of course, walking for seventeen minutes is very enjoyable! I won't listen to anything Nayeon says from now on."
10:58PM.
The sign «GROCERY STORE» appeared up ahead. The shop owner had already gone outside to make sure there were no more customers. Looking at the figure running at the beginning of the street, she recognised her and grinned, "Hey, Hirai! As usual for you?"
"How do you think?", Momo replied, finally reaching her destination. Breathing heavily, she slumped into the shop, leaning against the counter.
"Hey, Momo", the owner called out to her. "Here", woman handed her a bottle of water and a bucket of strawberry ice cream.
"The water's on us," she smiled and disappeared into the back room.
"Thank you!", Momo shouted and walked out with a silly smile on her face.
11:13PM
Momo turned her keys, opened the flat door, and quietly stepped inside. Before she could take off her windbreaker, she was already in Sana's arms.
"I was joking, you idiot, where did you go out like that in the middle of the night," Sana said into her neck.
"I didn't want my girl to get upset over something as trivial as ice cream, so I didn't have any trouble getting it," Momo grinned, because she was obviously slightly lying.
"I was afraid something might happen to you," Sana whispered, leaving a few light kisses on Momo's neck.
"I was running so fast, even Flash couldn't catch me," Momo laughed.
She pulled Sana away from her and wrapped her arms around Sana's neck and pulled her girlfriend in for a tender kiss. Sana smiled and her arms went around Momo's waist.
"It was worth it" , Momo thought.
