Mossui Meltdown

Summary:

After capturing Pecharunt, Kayla goes slightly mad with the potential power the pink creature may offer. Her efforts sprout some...irritating roadblocks.

Notes:

This is the first of many drabbles I plan to write in the near future! I've been suffering from MAJOR writer's block lately, and I decided to give this style of writing a try after hearing countless people in the community praising it as a tool for practice and low-stakes writing fun. I'm glad to say that, not only are those people right, but I will likely be continuing to write more drabbles as time goes on!
Don't hold me to it, but there should be more coming in the near future!
Also please let me know if any tags should be added/removed! I'm trying to get good with tagging, but it's still a daunting beast I've yet to fully tame.

Work Text:

     Alarms blared deafeningly all across Mossui Town from an intruder being spotted approaching. Immediately, Kayla cursed and sent out a psychic command of a full-town lockdown to all those under her and her Pecharunt’s control. Immediately, the town lit up with purple hues as the drones started to lock everything up, getting in defensive positions and readying their parties for the oncoming attack. The air was terribly tense, thick with suffocating anticipation. None of the hive mind knew when the attack was happening; then they heard it.

     “Porygon Z, hyper beam!” a voice commanded purposefully.

     The false hero has returned.
