"why'd you kiss me the other day?"
a fluffy brunette haired man with petite figure, namely park jimin, looked up at jeongguk, eyes big and cheeks flushed. jeongguk almost thought that jimin is actually a human puppy. jeongguk immediately shook the thought away as he tries to restrain himself from bringing jimin to his arms.
without hesitation, jeongguk smiled at jimin. he decided he'll not run away anymore. man fucking up himself and just get over with it. tell jimin his feelings, and just face it whether the older says 'too' or 'sorry'. "because i love you." jeongguk finally answers after having a war of thoughts in his head.
jimin didn't say anything. but his eyes still stayed the same, with mouth slowly parting this time. jeongguk thought he screwed himself and is trying to make himself ready for the words jimin is going to reply to his confession.
'i guess we'll just stay as best friends.'
jeongguk almost said that outloud, before seeing jimin's eyes slowly turning glassy, cheeks burning and nose slowly going red. jeongguk doesn't know what to do until jimin's tears slowly rolled down from his face, hiccuping as he tries to wipe his own tears with his sweater paws.
this time, jeongguk doesn't even try tro restrain himself from hugging jimin.
he immediately pulled the older but definitely smaller male to his arms, rubbing a comforting hand on his back as he try to shush the older, while rambling a "it's okay if you don't even like me. we can just stay as friends and you can forget the confession i just said because i'm just being dumb so please don't cry-"
"idiot!"
jimin sobs louder and jeongguk's mind goes blank. he doesn't know what to do, and his dumb, idiot mind, controlled over his body as jeongguk leans down to kiss jimin unconsciously, because damn.
'yeah. now you screwed up even more, jeonggukie.'
but fortunately, jimin did stop sobbing. he looks at jeongguk with glassy eyes as he scrunched up his nose, trying not to sob. he tugs at jeongguk's sweater and he hid his face on jeongguk's broad chest before mumbling something. his voice so soft and small that jeongguk doesn't even hear what he said and asks jimin to repeat.
"i said," he whispers, more loud this time. "hug and kiss me again."
jeongguk stares at him, jimin goes redder by each second which made jeongguk laughs at the cuteness. he smiles softly before he pulls jimin to his arms, lifting the smaller as jimin yelps surprisedly as his feet leaving the ground, but nonetheless giggling gleefully as he cups jeongguk's face, looking down to jeongguk and pressing their nose and forehead together.
"now i'm taller than you," jimin giggled, which jeongguk replies with his rolling eyes.
"you want me to kiss you or not?" jeongguk asks.
jimin didn't say anything. he immediately kissed jeongguk's mouth, this time making the younger stutter in shock. when jimin leans away, he laughs at jeongguk's dazed face.
both of them are laughing, with jeongguk still lifting jimin. 'how the hell did he get this small anyway. he doesn't even weigh like anything.' jeongguk thought.
"so," jeongguk starts. "be mine?" he asks, giving the cute brunette in his arms his micheveous smile while pressing their noses together again.
jimin flushes at the question, but jeongguk doesn't even need to wait as jimin sputters a definite yes as his answer.
