It was a beautiful day in Gotham City for once and Tim Drake decided he was going to play one of his favorite games ever! Pokemon Omega Ruby! Now the games lifespan may be over but that doesn't stop the fact he wants to replay it, back when Bruce was missing in the time stream Pokemon ORAS was the only thing that kept him sane, that and his beautiful boyfriend Kon. Tim just loves this game and cannot get enough of it! Thank god he is a little nepo baby so that his parents can keep fueling his autism addictions, at this point he keeps around 15 copies of Pokemon X and Y, 17 copies of Pokemon sun and moon, 20 of Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, and only 4 copies of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire! This lack of ORAS material broke his heart so he kindly asked his new rich father Bruce Wayne to purchase him a copy of Omega Ruby he found on ebay for only $20! He knows nobody really likes generation six of Pokemon but he just loves it! After seeing how much effort Tim was putting into these games his original parents Jack and Janet Drake got him an autism diagnosis, they felt so bad for their poor son but even more bad for their poor pockets and feared that if they didn't keep up they would have no more money left! When Tim moved into the manor he brought all of his merchandise with him including all of his 3DS games, Bruce thought it was a little weird that he had so many of the same game but I guess he just wouldn't understand. Now that he held the brand (still sealed!!!!) copied of Pokemon Omega Ruby he thought he would do the one thing he had been putting off for so long, he was going to shiny hunt his favorite gen 3 starter, mudkip.
Now he could've just played the more recent games where he had his shiny charm but he thought it would be a little more special to use this shiny mudkip in a playthrough so as he stared at the 1/8192 odds he felt determined. Since he broke both of his legs falling off a building and getting hit by a car, thus banning him from patrol, he thought that now would be the perfect time to start his hunt! He cracked open the seal and inserted the game into his 3DS, playing through the beginning of the game and saving right before where you pick your starter pokemon, sending out a prayer to the gods he put in his first encounter. A fail, as expected, Tim isn't the luckiest man in the world so he knew this would take a while and he was ready for the challenge. He started the process of soft resetting his game. Shiny hunting is like gambling in a way, once you start you just can't stop! And you can not take Tim to Vegas! He was already at 232 encounters at 2 hours as he perfected his speed of resetting the game, but on his 233 encounter he could only see a glimpse of what could've been. He had gotten the beautiful pink shiny mudkip he had always wanted, but he was too quick. He had reset over the shiny thus loosing it forever.
Tim dropped his console in anguish and covered his face with his hands and started sobbing, this was the worst thing that has ever happened to him!!!! He started throwing pillows and stuffed animals across his bedroom and hitting his mattress.
"NO NO NO NO!!!" he cried. But crying wouldn't bring back his shiny mudkip.
He was so lost and he couldn't believe what HE just did! Thinking very rationally he grabbed the spare noose he keeps just incase things go wrong and yeah, things had gone wrong, and threw one end over the ceiling fan and slipped his head through the hole at the end and pushing himself off the bed. Tim hung there for a while and his vision got spotty but just before he was about to pass out or maybe even die a little his beautiful should've been bisexual instead of his twinky brother Kon El burst through the window.
"TIM!" He cried ripping the noose off of his neck, he slapped Tim a little so he could wake up. "Babe! what's wrong? You know you can talk to me."
"You're just gonna think it's stupid!!" Tim chokes on a sob.
"Tim I could never think that of you, I just want to help so please tell me what's wrong," Kon lays Tim down on his bed and wipes away his tears.
"Okay well I was shiny hunting in one of my favorite pokemon games of all time Omega Ruby and I reset over the shiny!!" Tim sobs as he recalls the memory as if it was just 10 minutes ago.
"Baby I'm so sorry. Here lets manifest a new one for you, one with the perfect nature and ability to get you through the entire game," Kon runs his fingers through Tim's hair.
Kon then runs and gets his collection of lesbian candles that he used to manifest his boyfriend Tim Drake and repeats the manifestation process that worked so well for him the first time. He grabbed his gay little notebook and wrote down the magic words,

He then sacrifices the last piece of krypton that Kara held and cried onto every night, a little bit of love and loss will make this spell work just right! He lit the candles and started praying.
Tim was now 4 hours into his hunt, still mourning the loss of his beautiful shiny mudkip but gamblers always quit when they're about to win big so he did not give in to the calls telling him that maybe he is wasting his days away doing this. At 462 encounters he hit the reset button for hopefully the last time and as the game booted up once more and he selected mudkip, he was slower to his judgement that was he wouldn't fail once more and on 463 encounters the beautiful pink pokemon shined bright! Tim was bouncing up and down with joy and whimsy! After defeating the normal poochyena he went through the dialogue and received the pinkish purplish frog axolotl thing from Professor Birch and named this pokemon "Kon" after the man that had manifested this beauty and also saved his life. He saved his game about 10 times before he was ready to embark on his Hoenn adventure and become champion of the region once more!
