“Good day and thank you for waiting. AeroBloom Flight PR888 bound for Hong Kong is now ready for boarding…”
“Wala na ba kayong nakalimutan?” our manager asked. All of us shook our heads.
We are currently in the middle of our tour and heading to its 7th stop. Our band was pretty much excited when we knew that we were going on a World Tour for our third anniversary. It’s our first time to do so since we’ve only been performing locally and nationally.
“Saan si Ton?” Gio asked when we were lining up towards the gate. We eventually found her rushing out of the bathroom not far from it.
“Eto na, sorry, wanted to freshen up here before the flight. Alam mo na, yoko yung cr sa eroplano” sabi niya when she reached us, nasa last end kasi kami pumila.
“Sus, arte ka talaga, ano kaya mangyari kung bigla ka nalang naiihi habang nasa ere?” ani ni Corey.
Milton just rolled her eyes and proceeded to line behind.
Milton and Corey were my pals during High School. All of us had this one thing in common: our passion in music. We peformed in simple school programs until we became known outside of it. During our senior year, Corey had a cousin named Gio who also joined us then after a few gigs in and out of school, we got discovered by a record label and the rest was history.
“Ola, hey, mabuhay! Welcome to AeroBloom Flight PR888 departing for Hong Kong. Only guests of this flight should be on board…”
“Ola, hey, mabuhay! May I see your boarding pass?” The flight attendant greeted as I enter the plane. I presented my pass and she guided me to my seat which is by the window. I sat down with my bag stowed below the seat in front of me. My seat was away from my band which gave me time for myself to see and view the sky from the window. While waiting for the plane to move, I plugged in my earphones and looked at the flight attendants who are wearing their pink and white uniforms, walking back and forth to ensure the guests’ comfort before taking off.
The plane then moved and the attendants proceeded to do the safety briefing. While on it, i noticed an attendant that has a familiar face. I can’t remember where I’ve seen it but I think nakita ko na siya before. I just stared at her until they were done with the safety briefing and eventually shrugged it off since I got tired and fell asleep.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, our captain has turned off the Fasten Seatbelt sign however we always recommend you to please keep your seatbelts fastened while on your seats”
I woke up to that sound and saw that the flight attendant was handing out snacks and drinks to guests.
“Good day ma’am, let me just hand this out to you” The flight attendant said and smiled to me as she handed out a bottled water and a brownie biscuit. I thanked her and looked at her as she proceeded to go at the back to distribute to other guests. Saan ko ba talaga siya nakita? I swear she’s so familiar.
As I finished my food, I went to the lavatory and saw the familiar flight attendant fixing her uniform. She has a natural brown hair and cheeks with a subtle blush of pink.
“Uhmm, ma’am? gumamit na po kayo ng cr kasi babalik na yung fasten seatbelt sign in a while. Vacant na po ‘yan” Hala, I didn’t noticed that I was staring at her for a long time. “Ah, sorry miss” I said and proceeded to enter the lavatory.
“cabin crew, prepare for arrival”
I looked out and seeing out as we slowly dropped to land. I kept on thinking about that flight attendant with the remainder of my time in the sky. I can’t help to wonder where ko siya nakita. As the plane landed, I unbuckled my seatbelt after the sign turned off, got my bag, and proceeded to stand. I saw her by the door, welcoming them to the country and telling them to have a pleasant stay. Once it was my turn, I looked and smiled at her.
“7th stop you guys, ya’ll ready?” our manager said. “let’s make the most out of this day to have fun before the main event tomorrow” we all nodded as we went to the baggage claim area.
As we waited for the conveyor belt to move, I went to the cr and saw that there was a line. It was not that long unless you can’t hold it in na talaga, goodluck nalang sa’yo.
“Excuse me miss, is this the line for the restroom?”
I looked at the back and saw her again, the familiar brown-haired flight attendant from my flight.
“Uhh yes, this is the line” I said and she immediately smiled at me. I was about to return my attention to the line when she suddenly spoke “ikaw yung nasa recent flight namin diba?”
“Yeah, the flight from Manila” I smiled.
“Ikaw yung sinita ko kasi tinitigan mo lang ako imbes pumasok sa vacant na lavatory” grabe, did I really stare at her for that long?
“Sorry, parang may kamukha ka kasi eh. Di ko lang maalala sino” I said as I proceeded to shift my attention to the line for the bathroom. “Cr muna ako” I told her as it was my turn to use the vacant one.
I heard her chuckle. “sige”
I went out and washed my hands after using the bathroom then at the same time, lumabas rin si Miss FA sa stall. She then looked at me as she was washing her hands. “so Miss Robles, is that correct?”
“huh? pano mo nalaman name ko?” I said as I make my way to the dryer. Nakakapagtaka na talaga to si Miss FA ha. Baka pala isa to siya sa mga fans ko or worst, stalker.
Baliw ka ba sa past life mo Juan?
“Nakita ko kasi boarding pass mo, Ako kaya nag guide sa'yo kanina to your seat. May sharp memory kasi ako if you might be wondering how I remembered” she said. Ahh ok, yeah baliw lang talaga ako.
“Sebinah, Sebinah Sevilleja” she introduced herself.
“Juan, Juan Robles” I smiled and we shooked hands.
