-I'm... I'm pregnant.
Her words echoed throughout their shared bedroom. It was night, the girls had just gone to bed. Recently, Gru came home from work because he had to stay after hours and do some paperwork. During dinner, his wife said that when their daughters went to bed, they would have to talk about something serious. He got a little worried, she didn't want to leave him, did she? Or maybe she was sick? But now all his worry was gone. As soon as he heard the happy news, a big smile appeared on his face. He couldn't say a single word, he was so shocked and so happy. He never expected to have a family and his firstborn child.
Lucy began to doubt whether it was a good idea to tell him. He has been standing in front of her smiling for a minute and hasn't even moved. Is he okay?
- Hello? - She started waving her hand in front of his face. - Honey, I'm starting to worry.
She was about to call the doctor, but suddenly her husband hugged her tightly. One more moment and he will strangle her.
- Oh my gosh! I'm so happy! My darling, I am so happy! - He hugged her and started tossing her gently.
- Haha, I'm happy too, but I think I'm going to vomit...
- Oh! Right! I'm letting you go now. - He put Lucy on the floor and suddenly started running around and jumping.
- I will be a father again! I will be a father! I will be a father! - He shouted these joyful words with every jump. The redhead had never seen him so happy. He has changed a lot from being a bitter villain and now a happy and supportive husband and father. She was so proud of him. And she was glad that his reaction was positive. Maybe too positive...
Gru, full of energy, finally stopped.
- Wait, what am I doing? I have to announce this news to everyone! - And he ran out of the room.
- But honey, wait, it's night and everyone is sleeping! - She called after him. She only heard a voice from the corridor saying it wasn't important and the door slamming.
- Maybe I could wait until the morning...

A loud knock on the door woke Dru. Who decided to come to his mother's house at this hour? After all, “her boys” knew that her son was staying at her place tonight.
Sleepily, he looked out the window and… Gru?
He opened the window on the ground floor because it would be faster, but what if it was an emergency and they were in danger?
- Brother, what's going on?
Before he knew it, his twin had jumped into the house through the window. Full of joy and energy... did someone replace him?
- I will be a father again! - His eyes happily looked straight at Dru, who didn't know how to react.
- Do you want to steal something again and are you planning adoption? - He asked stupidly.
There was an awkward silence, which was broken by Marlena, dissatisfied as always, who entered the corridor.
- What is that noise? You won't let people sleep.
- Mom, you're going to have a grandson! Or granddaughter, doesn't matter. But I will be a father!!! - Gru started jumping up and down with happiness.
- Aren't you a father already? - She asked, half asleep.
- Yes, but Lucy is pregnant! - He shouted so loudly that the whole street probably already knew.
- What? Son, how did you do it?! - Gru looked at her in confusion and sighed
- You know, Mom, when a man and a woman love...
- I know how to do it! - A blush appeared on the woman's face. - I just wonder if you knew what to do and well...
- Congratulations, brother! Dru interrupted her and hugged him. Their mother, as always, was incapable of emotions and only looked at herself. Therefore, as a family, he must support his twin alone.
- Thank you. - He smiled gently at him. He was grateful that he had interrupted their mother's unpleasant comment. - Okay, I'll keep running!
Before they noticed, Gru jumped out the window and ran in an unknown direction.

Gru ran as fast as lightning through the side entrance to the lab. On the way home he tripped over a garbage can, was almost hit by a car and lost his scarf.
- Did you hear the good news? - He jumped onto the table where the doctor was building a new weapon ordered by the AVL.
- Your mother died?
- What? No, I'm going to have a baby soon! - He happily threw all the papers that were lying on the desk.
Nefario took off his glasses in surprise. He felt so proud now, even though Gru wasn't his son, he still felt like he was responsible for him (more than his biological mother).
- My sincere congratulations, I am glad that you have achieved so much and, most importantly, that you are happy. - He smiled at him and stroked his back.
- Thank you, doctor, your support has always meant a lot to me. - He smiled back and they stood there in silence for a while.
- Umm Gru? Before you run away, could you clean up all the papers you scattered?

It was 3 a.m. and her husband still hadn't returned. She started to get a little worried, so she went to the kitchen to make some tea. She sat at the kitchen table and rubbed her belly. It's amazing that there is a new life form inside it. She never thought about being pregnant, and now she feels so happy.
Suddenly she heard the door opening and someone talking on the phone in the corridor.
- And you know? I'm so happy about this... What? Should I come to work in the morning? But I have the day off… oh… okay…. well... have a good night!
Gru walked into the kitchen with a smile on his face. He hummed a song and danced. Lucy waited in silence for him to notice her. She tried not to burst out laughing.
- Who were you talking to in the middle of the night?
Her husband jumped up and screamed shrilly like a little girl. She probably scared him.
- Oh honey, why aren't you sleeping? I talked to Silas, and he wasn't happy, but I'm not surprised, he doesn't have a loving wife and four children. - He spoke with pride and joy and walked up to his wife and hugged her. He put his head on her shoulder.
- I'm so happy. The whole city already knows. You don't even know how much I love you. - He kissed her gently on the lips.
- I love you too, I couldn't have a better husband and our children a father. - She smiled, had tears of happiness in her eyes, and kissed him back. - Just next time, don't run around the city in the middle of the night, please. - They both laughed.
- Let's go back to bed, you need to start resting, I will take care of you and the house. And tomorrow we tell the girls that they will have siblings. I didn't have the heart to wake them up at night.
- And luckily. - Lucy laughed and hugged her love tighter.
They have never been as strong and happy as they are today.
