Summary:

izuku has had a rough life. he's probably one of the unluckiest SOBs to ever live. before his father died he made sure his son was able to get the best training in the world to be able to protect himself.

which leads him to an interesting compotition. with an interesting celebraty guest.

based on 'trouble magnet turned baba yaga' by ROWEN6. please go read that.

he mentioned something in his second chapter that really got me thinking. how bad could the HPSC fuck up? and what would the average american citizen's reaction be?

Edit: we dicided to do a part 2 with snipe:

Chapter Text

“WELCOME TO FORGE BRUTALITY LITTLE BROTHER!” shouted the man with the thick hillbilly accent.

Izuku grinned from ear to ear. He felt honored to be invited to such an event.

Held by a mix of civilian shooters, air force personal from pilots, to SERE instructors and TACPs. Down to DEA agents and border patrol.

It was one of the largest and brutal shooting competitions in Texas. And that was saying something.

Normal three gun was cool and all, pistol, rifle, shotgun. But these peaple felt normal competitions where ‘gamerfied’ and izuku had to agree. He’s done the IPSC dog an pony show. And he’s also been attacked by rouge Mexican federalis working with the cartel while looking for stone arrowheads.

It is not the same.

but his shooting instructor. A armorer for the air forces 737th training ,readiness and support squadron invited him out.

“we got a three day weekend of lifted, physical opstical courses with shooting sprinkled in. that’s what separates us from the others little zuke. Full kit. No reloaded back at your car between stages. Load up in the morning and use what you got.”

“wont that get heavy?” the young green haired kid asked.

“yea.. that’s the point. Train like you fight. Some of these pilots might get shot down. They need to know how to survive behind enemy lines. And the DEA boys got a deployment to Colombia coming up. the border boys work alone in the middle of the desert a lot of the time. Come on. “

He waved him over and brought him to a building away from the ranges at the lackland air base in san Antonio. It was the air force special ops gym building. It also housed the on-site armory for the 737th to work on gear.

They had to walk by the gym when izuku saw a very tall woman. Probably the tallest woman he’d ever seen before. She had huge rippling muscles.

Hmm… she kinda reminded him of all might.

“hey kate!” cj waved.

The woman dropped the large weight bar she was holding. It hit the floor and dirt and dust wafted into the air. She held a very kind smile.

“hey CJ! Awe, who’s this? Little brother?”

“na, kid I use to teach. He’s gonna compete this weekend. Here to set him up with some gear… hey zuke? You’re a fanboy? You know who this is?”

The tall woman rolled her eyes. “come on redneck. Be nice. Im stars and stripes.”

Izuku’s eyes widened as he took the woman’s hand. “wait? The stars and stripes!? As in? all mights only student!?”

“The one and the same!!” she beamed. Puffing her… ample, chest out.

“see I needed tuition fees to pay for hero collage. Did a few years in the air force. Went officer because I duel enrolled with my GI bill and got my heroics licinse. But still had some time left on my contract. So I became a pilot… that’s where I met CJ here… they let me fly for a few years. Still come back to give speeches every once and awhile.” She cupped a hand over her mouth in a fake whisper.

“little known seceret. Because we didn’t have much to do in the old days I damn near lived in the gym I use to be a lot smaller you know.” She winked at the boy.

He stared up stay eyed. This was cool.

“what you using kate?” cj asked.

She slapped her hip. She was in fatigue pants. A leather belt with a holster on it and a sleeveless shirt with a unit insignia on it. “that old rhino killer you convinced me to buy.”

CJ rolled his eyes “ah yes… convinced. Because ‘hey don’t buy that it’s the largest practical revolver on the market’ was really twisting your arm!”

Izuku cocked his head. “what is it?”

Cathleen bates motioned for them to get out of the sun when she pulled her revolver out and unloaded it. The gun was almost as big as izuku’s arm.

“454 casul” the held the stainless steel single action behemoth. He needed both hands and studied it. Big girl like that? he bet she could one hand one of these.

“using a revolver doesn’t slow you down?” he asked.

The tall blonde shook her head. “na, its more for survival to be honest. Most situations I just use my quirk. but I do love the classics.”

“whats you long gun?” the shorter kid asked.

“M1 Garand. Main service rifle of the second world war!” she beamed proudly.

“oh… yea. That thing gave us heck from what iv heard”

Miss bates opened her eyes, a bit confused. “you? As in?... your Japanese?”

“oh! Yes ma’am… been in America so long I guess I don’t have much of an accent anymore”

She beamed, switching over to Japanese “well you speak English better then he does.” She said and jabbed a finger at the old chief.

“fuck yall say?” he wondered. “anyway. Come on kid. This one’s special.”

They walked into the workshop and chief CJ tuned the radio. American head charges classic song ‘loyalty’

Izuku wasn’t too sure about all this heavy metal. It was ok. But it still needed to grow on him.

“alright boy… what do we have here?.... hmm… 5.56 rifle. We did do some work with the Armalite platform during your lessons. Remember the different rifles I had you shoot?”

“oh! Yea.. I really loved that one sniper rifle.. what was it? Mark 12? We also did the M110, bigger bullet. I think I want something smaller. Carry more ammo. Hmm… the mark-12 was also a bit big for me.”

The chief held up a hand. Going to his barrels. Pulling out a 14.5 inch barrel. In the US legaly the ‘standard’ length without paperwork was 16 inches… but if you pin and weld a muzzle divice to just reach that. especially a longer one like this three prong surefire. Boom… 16 inches and legal. Good news is longer barrels also meant better accuracy and more dwell time and better velocity… in video game terms? Longer barrel means more damage. Ah to hell with it CJ would through in a mid length gas system for smoother shooting at distance too.

“ok… ima build you a CORE15… good little ol company down in florida. They have great barrels. And I love their handgaurds on their low pro scout models… this way you have lighter wight M-loc instead of the slightly heavier quad rail… want a grip? Remember, everything you put on it will just add weight. May not even need a flashlight. Hmm…hmm” the chief was talking to himself again.

He grabbed more parts and pieced. Putting a block into a vice he fit a blank lower receiver onto it. The blocks fit in the mag well so you don’t bend metal you aren’t suppose to. “ok kid, Gisselle maritime mag release switch. Its bigger but easier to hit. BCM pistol grip and stock. Gisselle single stage trigger. My favorite. Its nice and silvery chrome so its gonna fit this here BCM bolt carrier I got you. Pinned and welded barrel. How about optics? Back up irons?”

Izuku looked up to miss bates. “have you ever used back up irons?”

“nope”

Izuku shook his head in the negative.

“low power veriable? Or EOtech and magnifier?”

Izuku thought about it. “miss bate?”

“please. Call me kate. Brutality is the one time I get away from being a hero. I get to leave a lot behind.. so how about here im not stars and stripes. Im just kate… another shooter.”

Izuku nodded “ok, miss kate. You’ve shot here enough? What do you suggest?”

She looked at CJ. “how’d he shoot?”

“he might be one of the best I ever taught. The kids a natural. Damn near preternatural. He was hitting hundreds of yards away with only 2 power on the mark-12.”

Kate rubbed her chin. “how about you save weight… go for the EOTECH and magnifier. LPVOs tend to be a bit heavier.”

He nodded.

Chief CJ danced around the shop. Finding tools and cranking down locking lugs and castle nuts.

Finaly he pulled a haley strategic sling from a little box and placed the QD point to the base below the buffer tube and at the end near the muzzle. These core handgaurds had build in QD. Which was nice.

“here ya go zuke…this ones yours.”

Izuku took it. Inspected it. Even though he watched it be assembled he still pulled the bolt back to check the chamber. Also to feel it. Felt good. The radian charging handle was perfect. It took him a moment to really get what he was just told.

“wait? What do you mean mine?”

“yours! Yours, yours.. your getting to that age kid. You need a rifle. Especially with everything going on. You need to defend yourself. So this is me gifting you that… none of these parts are military. This is all my own personal stuff. And I aint turning on the TV at some point to see something happened to you, knowing I could have helped… I aint always gonna be here… but that? as long as your in country… that will be. And if you leave again ? ill hold it for ya.”

Izuku was… touched.

Chief CJ never cared about his.. condition. Hell most of the military members, current and former he met never cared.

“he get into a lot of trouble?” miss kate asked?

“does a wild bear crap in the woods?”

She looked down. The kid looked a bit sheepish. “I’m sorry to hear that… is it quirk related?”

He nodded.

“do you talk about it?” she asked.

Izuku nodded his head in the negative. She immediately dropped it. “I understand… I don’t always like talking about mine either. Lets get you a handgun. What do you say chief!?” she beamed. Trying to put a smile on the boys face.

“hmm…. You used a lot of glocks right?”

“yea”

“… how about a 1911? “ again. Fast hands shifted around. He handed izuku different materials. The boy rubbed them between his hands. Wood was nice. Classy.

Tridium night sights for when it got dark. Two tone paint sceme. Green lower and black upper slide. With slide serrations. Short grooved trigger. Pinning the grip safety. Ambi thumb safety. Ring hammer. Chrome threaded barrel. “incase you ever need a suppressor to pop a mother fucker stealthily… .45 is already sub sonic”

And got him a spare inside the waistband leather holster.

CJ also found a trunk full of old gear. He pulled out nylon Haley strategic chest rig. Put in the extra velco insure to add 2 more magazines to it. A brace of 1911 mags.

And before the day was out gave him a costume tan and green molted paint job for the rifle.

Finaly the chief turned to kate. “you even got a partner this year yet?”

Kate shook her head. “no… not yet.”

“hmm… well congrats. You get the kid. Yall both even speak the same languages!”

“and who are you shooting with!?”

“lexi Anderson.”

Izuku and kate both looked at one another. And smiled.

…………………………………………………………………..

Izuku huffed and puffed as he had to run about a half mile to his next location. Kate was feeling the breeze in her ponytail and it was just another run for her. Her belt was lined with pouched for her 30-06 rounds. because she used bigger rounds the rules stipulated she only had to hit most targets once, instead of most people like izuku who had to hit them twice.

“GAS!GAS!GAS!” CJ yelled. The man stroked his mustach and pulled out a CS gas grenade. Pulling the pin he chucked it.

The chief was dressed in blue jeans, a green button up shirt and what looked like a photographers vest. But was laden down with gear and equipment. He also wore one of those old Scottish style flat pageboy caps.

He flung the grenade out into their path. The smoke wafted in the air. Izuku in his breathless state took a big breath in and felt the burn in his lungs. The sweat on his brow turned to acid. And one a droplet flowed near his eye he thought he would die. But he ran past it about 100 more yards to the shooting bay. Bending at the hip he coughed, plugged one nostril and blew snot out and spit more mucus then he thought was possible.

Pulling a magazine from his hip he inserted it. Looking to kate she was blinking fast and trying to wipe the stinging away with her sleeve. She had put a more long sleeve shirt on to keep the sun of her fair skin. Texas was baking them as much as the smoke.

This opstical meant they needed to pull a truck that was in nutrual past a certain line and pull out the driver dummy. Then engage 10 targets.

Izuku grabbed the rope. But kate chuckled and flexed her arms. Which where thicker around then his torso. They pulled it together and pulled the dummy out. And engaged the targets. Izuku shouldered. Took a few breaths then held his last one. He needed to do 5.

*bang bang* …. *gong*gong* “hit!”

He shifted from the hip to his next target while kate had to use her ironsights. The targets werent that far. Only 80 yards. But gassed. And with burning eyes?

She still had a few rounds in her rifle from the last obstacle, so one her last target the garands enblock ejected. And with all the shooting and especially with her 30-06 no one heard the fabled ping… old myth about the garand is that the enblock ejecting is loud and noticeable… in high stress scenarios and with a lot of shooting. No ones hearing the ping… sounds good in video games and movies though.

“time! 12.45! third place so far!” called CJ, aside from competing some also doubled as range officers.

Izuku and kate high fived. They where kicking ass together.

The next course of fire was starting in a busted out old Toyota corolla. Pull handgun. Shoot the targets infront of you, through the glass. Pull your rifle from in-between the seat and the center console, open the door and shoot the same targets again. get to the back of the vehicle. Shoot 2 new targets. Then bound one at a time, covering the other 100 yards back, 20 yards at a time.

For izuku? great. The 1911 was amazing. It grouped like nothing else. And his more compact AR was maneuverable out of the vic. Kates M1? Oh lord no.

Awesome rifle. But not made for fighting out of a vehicle. And izuku now has the number one American hero with one arm through a seatbelt falling face first out of a shot up car on his phone.

It was beautiful.

Even none rifle events that where less about big spectacle obstacles or courses. Like the plate line. You shoot 8 plates. And when the last one gets shot a ninth plate pops out the side of the table. You shoot that and it resets it for your partner. Which is great when izuku has a chip McCormick 11 round magazine. Sure he missed a few times but he compensated.

Kate has a revolver. And not even one where you can use speed loaders because the cylinder was a falling style. No hers was the ruger. Which meant loading gate, one round at a time. Their times suffered because of that.

But over all they where doing amazingly.

Izuku was having the time of his life.

After the second day they all ended up going to this little food spot that was a favorite of the local gun club and former military personal. It was part sports bar and part pizzeria.

The adults had 1 shot each. They still had to either drive, or compete the next day. And most where concealing. Technically they shouldn’t have had any. But it was tradition. Izuku ended up being given a shotglass of soda. To fit in.

Kate was laughing and giving izuku props and hugs for all the good he had done. She was loving having him as a partner. The next day was sniper day and they where discussing who needed to be shooter and who needed to be spotter. Izuku was the better shot. And kate couldn’t use her quirk to say ‘and izuku wont miss a shot’ quirks weren’t really aloud in these kinds of competitions.

Chief CJ was inhaling curly fies and quesadillas.

Kate had a family sized platter of a bit of everything all to herself. Again, big girl. You don’t get that kind of mass without carbo loading to high hell.

Izuku had some mild wings.

Most everyone in the joint was from the competition. Locals knew what week it was and tended to stay clear of this place out of respect.

A few older greying retirees who competed. They tended to have ‘themes’ some dressed up like the second world war. Not even as americans sometimes. But as british, Japanese, and Russians. Others choose like cold war.

Izuku had driven in CJs land cruiser. They had his gear in the back along with the chiefs and kates. But most folks knew under the jeans and button up shirt and vest combo was a concealed 1911.

Izuku kept adjusting his. Shooting the old war horse from a battle belt? great. But he wasn’t sure about this weight when it came to concealing it. He missed his lighter glocks or sigs. Hell, even the odd HK when he was in Germany this one time.

He would say something nice about the Makarov he used in Russia… but he had carried it and didn’t feel like lying.

There where still a few out of towners. Some giving the large group odd and dirty looks. Izuku didn’t think they where being that loud. But he understood. Some of them where looking at the whole group. A few where sending glances his way… made sense. He was the youngest. He was a bit self contius about that. he just kept his gaze to his food. Scooting his chair a bit closer to kates. She bumped into him and gave him a large smile. She made him feel at ease.

“I’m going to use the bathroom.” He mentioned. Clapping kate on the back and heading to the rear of the establishment.

What was almost missed by him was a man standing up next to him and heading that way too. Izuku side stepped him and let the man go fist.

Izuku walked to the bathroom. Only for three others to be there. Not using the bathroom. But weighting.

He shot off glances… oh no.

Before he could open his mouth to cuss one of the men pulled out a dart gun and shot him with a tranquilizer.

Izuku’s back made contact with the wall, and his world went a bit hazy.

“ok, we have the subject. Bag him and tag him.”

One of the men opened the side door out into the alleyway. They hand cuffed the kid and pulled a bag over his head.

A van was weighting out back for them.

As they were getting the boy out the door the bathroom door opened. Revealing an older man with a mustache in jeans, a green shirt and a tan vest.

“time to drain the old liz….what the fuck?” he straightened up and looked at the sight behind him.

One man turned. “take him out. Ill handle this. Nothing to see here sir.” He pulled out a little black wallet like object. “U.S marshals. Just detaining a wanted fugitive.” He flashed his creds like it was nothing… and held an off accent. One similar to CJs old friend hizashi, god rest his soul. A friend CJ promised he would look after his son and teach him.

“can I see that?” he asked. Stepping to the ‘marshals’… here’s a hint. Marshals don’t operate like this. Hell even the CIA doesn’t flash badges. These boys have seen too many movies. They wanted to scare any civilians into not asking to many questions.

Bold strategy cotton, one big problem.

The man stepped forward and showed off the card that said ‘US marshals’ which isn’t how their badges worked.

CJ reached out. Grabbed the man by the wrist. Pulled his pistol, shoved it in the mans face and pulled the trigger.

Keeping a hand on the now deadman he pulled him to the side. Transitioning to the next man to his left he plugged him quickly with two bullets. Bringing his hands together as quick as possible he stepped left and shifted his aim right. Putting two to that mans chest and one to his head. Stepping over she shot the other dead man in the head. Pulled a spare mag from his vest and kicked the bathroom door open to shout into the bar.

“THEY GRABBED IZUKU!”

Everyone had heard the shots and where up. when several people saw CJ and their comrades dead on the floor they freaked. “GUN!” they shouted. Some pulled out SMGs from bags. Some pulled pistols. And everyone in the bar now knew who the good guys and the badguys where.

“no shit this is Texas!” he responded as a small gunfight accured in the bar as DEA, air force, and everyone else. And the bar tender. Pulled their own guns and shot them. One man used his quirk and leapt at one of the drug enforcement guys. Bad move. He had a steel plate in his forehead hidden behind a bandana. Smashing the man in the forehead he pulled a knife and drove it into the villains back.

Where they villains? Who knew. One guy pulled a badge and shouted something in a foreign language only kate knew. Cussed then switched to English.

Four others heard it and one thing came to mind. ‘spies’ they where dealing with a foreign intelligence service on American soil.

And they killed spies.

CJ and a large man who’s quirk was sasquatch rushed him. The man pulled a gun. CJ didn’t have much of a choice and spot shot him in the groin. But got sidelined by another attacker. He contact shot him under the jaw.

Him and kate made a B line out the front door and into the street. Several vehicles worth of people stepped out. Sunglasses. Tactical pants and boots. Fire arms. And pointed at them. They also saw a van peel off and drive away.

“THEY STOLE A KID!” kate shouted into main street. She knew better. But she was now kinda scared. They stole izuku. and this was Texas. Normally as a hero you don’t want to start a panic. But Texans don’t panic.

People looked at the vehicle driving away. And looked at the sketchy looking men and some of them looking kinda gang like with face tattoes.

An old man in boots with a revolver on his hip and a thick mustache that hung to his chest, obviously in a quirk way looked down the road. Looked at the vehicle he was walking no more then 8 feet from.

And pulled his revolver at hip height and fanned the hammer. Killing three.
Other civilians joined in. as well as the operators and shooters from the bar. Who were running to their vehicles and bringing out long guns. Safe to say all 10 of the backup shooters were cut down in a beautiful display of American attitude.

“fuck!” kate yelled she was going to jump into the sky and follow them. But CJ stopped her. “kate wait! We don’t know who this is. You need backup.”

“backup? Chief im the number one hero.”

“And these boys look to be playing for keeps. And they have a hostage”

That thought made her pause… no… don’t hurt izuku.

They were brought from their thoughts by one man coughing… he was hit, maybe even dying. But he was alive.

CJ stomped over and brought his foot down into the piece of shits gut. Making him shout in pain. The large sasquatch man close behind him.

CJ kneeled down. “ok asshole. Hear this. … kate here comes the sheriff. Inform him… where was i? oh yes… your going to tell us who you are and where your buddies are?”

“and… why would I do that?”

“hey dave! We got a milky piggy here!” he shouted to the big monkey. “because if you don’t… me friend here isn’t beholden to the UCMJ, he cant be persecuted like me or some of the others… and he’s really fucking horny….” The stare of murder in the older mans eyes was that only a chief could muster… and the villain understood the threat. Especially when he heard a zipper.

“WAIT!WAIT!WAIT!...WE’RE WITH THE HPCS! THEY WENT TO THE OLD BAKER FARM!”

“what the fuck is the HPSC?” he placed his pistol to the mans temple.

“hero public safety commission! We’re government agents! Heroes!”

“that word means something else in this town. And enough of the lying… or so help me.”

“I’m not lying! Call the Japanese embassy!” the man panicked out. CJ turned to kate.

She had the number.

“mister ambassador… you wouldn’t happen to know of any… illegal kidnappings condoned by the hero public safety commission… would you?”

A couple thousand miles away a man in an office dropped his tea. Panic in his eyes at the phonecall he was getting by Americas top hero. He snapped his fingers and called for people to make phone calls.

“um… no ma’am… nothing like that has passed my desk. Nothing like that could pass my desk. The commission couldn’t do something like that… especially not in America!”

Kate pursed her lips. “so anyone claiming to be them… are lying. And should be considered villains? And any kidnappings. Or guns pulled on civilians, law enforcement and military personal. That wouldn’t be an international incident. Tandem to a declaration of war?”

“… miss stars and stripes. I have no idea what is happening where you are. But if you have people claiming to be form the Japanese government. We can not claim them… and I promise you… neither me. Nore the PM… have any idea what this is about… but ill make a few calls. As far as the Japanese government is concerned. You just called us asking about villains.”

“…. We use a different work here in the states… terrorism… and oh how we hate that” he hung up her phone. Walked over to CJs land cruiser and grabbed her bag, where her costume was. This called for a hero.

………………………………………………………….

Izuku found himself in a locked back room. They had pulled the bag off his head and left him. He heard a lock from the outside. They must have padlocked it form there. Good news was he was in his jeans. And in handcuffs and not zipties.

Because he had been kidnapped enough times to where he kept little metal shims in the mesh behind every other belt loop on his jeans. He pulled one out. Slid it into the handcuff and jimmied it until he got the click.

He had no idea who these guys where. But he heard a mix of English, Japanese and Spanish. Which really didn’t narrow it down. He had enemies everywhere… he thought he would be safe here… turns out he was wrong. It wasn’t kates or chiefs fault. He was just… unlucky.

Atleast and unlucky quirk was a quirk. but not him… he had nothing.

Well… not nothing. He had his tricks up his sleeve.

Tricks. Handcuff keys. A few gold coins in his belt. a ceramic blade the size of a nail wrapped in tap in his pants cuff by his ankle which was unnoticeable by metal detection. . A file in his shoe. And a few spring break pens.

What is a spring break pen you might ask? Take a standard bic ball point pen. Pull the ink out. Take a rug. Or something rug like in a hotel room. And use friction to file the pen to a small needle like blade. Its razer sharpe. And doesn’t show up in X-ray so when you break it off in your attacker the hospital has a time and ahalf finding it. Something he learned from his friends in the Mexican special forces. Good dudes.

He walked over and placed an ear to the door. it was quiet. Seemed to be no one close to his door. they were talking about transport.

Looking under the door. no one. He was looking for shoes. But there was a hallway. Or a wall. He could hide behind that when he got out.

He tried to knob, even knowing it was locked. He had to try.

He waited a few moments to see if anyone noticed and would try coming in to see if he got free.

No?... ok. He kicked his red shoe off and pulled out that file. They have spiked on them. He felt the door.

None reinforced wood. Not even good wood. Did it swing in or out? In… he couldn’t kick it then… could he just pull the hinges off? Slip out? No… he wanted to be stealthy. He didn’t have much with him. He needed to be stealthy until he had a gun. Hinges would make too much noise.

He took the spike at the one end. Trying to open the door again he pulled it in just enough to figure out where the latch was. Marking it he closed the door. and started digging away from his side. He was going to dig the wood away from the latch and screws where it would just open for him. Then close it back and slip away.

It took him a bit. But what else was he going to do for 45 minutes?

Ok… that was step one and two… now he needed to get out of the barn.

Slipping out one of the horse stalls windows into an old muddy pig pen. He looked around. There was a big house. A bunk house. Some smaller utility building. Oh, and a shit tone of cartel!... is that who had taken him? Didn’t seem like it. The more he looked around the more he was starting to understand this was a front for the cartel. And a third patry was working with them.

He crawled out of the pig pen, under the fence and to a small water pump building. There was a road. And the little building had a few bushes. But after a certain point there was a lot of open ground before the rocky hills and woods. He needed to get to the woods.

He went to step out when a guard saw him.

Izuku almost panicked when the man fell like a puppet with its strings cut. Probably because the side of his head had tanked a bullet.

The Japanese boy turned to see CJ. He ran to izuku. picked him up and ran with him to some cover just as a vehicle passed by.

“holy shit kid!”

“chief? Is it just you?” he asked.

“no. a few of us are looking around.” He handed izuku a backpack. Inside was his rifle in two separate pieces. He clipped the upper and lower together. pulled out his chest rig and strapped it on. Then inserted a mag and racked a shell.

Izuku was cocked, locked and ready to rock. And he had the chief with him “where’s kate?”

“with the blocking element. Unfortunately, she has to arrest people.” He pulled out his radio and ok’d the rest of the boys to kill as many on the way out as they could. Izuku looked on in awe. To some of these boys this was all one big game of wack fuck.

They went to turn and burn. Howl ass while stars and stripes did her thing when a man in a hero costume stepped out of some bushes.

Izuku went guns up. then down a bit.

Bit CJ? Cj pulled his pistol and kept it on this costumed guy. Which made izuku do a double take… he had seen hero and figured he was part of the rescue op.

So the boy brought his gun up again.

“hey! Easy. I’m a hero, I’m here to help”

“no your not… your duffman… shane duffman… former hero. Babysat your girlfriends kid a few years ago… until she annoyed you. So you threw the kid in an oven… burned the house down…”

The hero’s eyes turned…. Not just in anger. But turned blue. And sparks started forming.

Izuku pulled his gun up and barely even saw the cross hairs as he shot the murderer in the heart. CJ shot him in the skull.

And that really kicked the hornets’ nest.

A vehicle kicked dirt as gunfire sounded. They didn’t stick around long. Because that gunfire was the others giving izuku a chance to run. But they still had persusers.

Into the woods they ran. Up and down hills. They made it almost a mile when they came to a shallow river. Wading out into it a burst of gunfire erupted and shot around their feet. turning they saw 8 men.. Japanese men. With guns on them.

“drop your fire arms and raise your hands!”

“ILL CRUSIFY YOU MONKEY FUCKERS!” CJ yelled.

But then a large red white and blue blurr slammed through the trees.

“ ALL OF YOUR GUNS WILL JAM!” she activated her quirk. Triggers where pulled. But both the badguys and izuku and the chiefs guns jammed.

Kate pulled her 454 and pointed it to the hostiles.

“call… your … boss”she said.

All the men looked at one another.

Then kate held up a phone. “no?.. .don’t worry… I already did”

She tossed it to them.

“hello?”

“gentlemen?”

“mister president!”

“yes… I have bad news… the mission is a fail. I’m sorry… but Japan has disavowed you all… theres nothing I can do for you.”

They all looked up to the chief. Who was walking to them, knife pulled. But izuku stopped him.

“what does that mean?”

“it means… that you are going to prison… and the world is going to hear about this one the six o’clock news… it means.. we are all fucked. But? If you can manage to fight off the number one American hero and… whoever else is there? And get the target back to us… we may be able to salvage this?”

“hey!.. old man! What’s your quirk!”

“MY QUIRK IS MY FOOT UP YOUR ASS!” that man had some anger issues. But it made izuku smirk. God love the chief.

“is this what this is all about?” izuku asked. “Quirks?”

“indeed young man… you leave trails of bodies… we want to study you… even given your… affliction.”

“alfition?” kate sked. Concern in her voice and eyes as she looked to izuku.

“what are they talking about?”

“im… technically.. qurikless.” He cringed. A bit worried about that seceret getting out.

But?

Nothing happened. He looked at kates eyes. Her worried eyes.

That… ruffled her jimmies? “you where kidnapping a quirkless boy? For what!?”

She didn’t care. hell most quirkless in America join the military. Its always been a place for the misfits. But she was understanding a few things.

“miss bates. Do you know anything about that boy? His unluckiness killed his own father. You stay around him your likely to die yourself.”

“listen here you piece of shit… I don’t give a damn about that. I don’t care if he’s quirkless. I don’t give a fuck… if you ever come to America. You will be arrested. And God willing a warrant will come for you sooner or later. I’m surprised one of your own employees hasn’t killed you.( maybe she should will that into the world) izuku is my brother now. And if you. Or any more of your men come to America? He will be protected by not only every hero. But also a fairly scary ass gunclub”

The last thing the president heard before the phone went dead was stars and stripes saying she was taking izuku… and that someone called ‘chief’ would be staying behind to ‘oversee’ the prisoners until backup could come to arrest them.

They where never seen from again.

The news didn’t put out an accurate statement. But kate said enough on social media that the world knew.

And from the 30 agents they send to America. 20 died. 5 ended up in life in an American prison. Their local cartel contacts? Dead. A few former heroes for hire? Dead. 2 where never arrested and where able to make it back. And 3 where extradited. Fired form the HPSC and shunned by the Japanese people. Put on no fly lists and where now branded former terrorists.

As for izuku and kate? Whenever he was in America, he stayed at her house… and his gear was stashed in his own room.

He had friends and family all over the world. He kept moving because being in one place was dangerous for them. But whenever he was in America. He had a sister.

It reminded him he hadn’t seen his own mother in a very long time… he’d like to introduce them at some point.
