Work Text:
Ahsoka ran from the flames.
She was a world without sun. “You can’t save your master, and I can’t save mine.”
Through a portal, a sunlight scene caught her eye: Kaeden, chin resting on her hand, sitting with Ahsoka at Selda’s.
Even then, Kaeden’s eyes held the same tenderness they would years later. Somehow, Ahsoka found herself mirroring Kaeden’s subtle smile.
“Are you falling in love? I’ve a feeling you are,” Ahsoka could’ve said then. Yet she knew when she recounted this story to Kaeden later, Kaeden would say the same of her.
And she was.
Ahsoka ran to Kaeden.
