Work Text:
Two days passed since the party, and since you and Eddie's sleepover.
You mom had only giggled at the hickies and bitemarks on your neck. Asking who the boy was. But you told her it was a secret, winking at your little brother and sister at the table. Your mom had pressed no longer, but hoped you'd bring your secret lover around soon. But she was surprised when you didn't come down in your usual look, straight hair and cheerleader outfit. But instead you came down with curly hair, your glasses, a Scorpions shirt on, a heavier leather jacket (it was supposed to be cold that day), and distressed jeans. Earrings in and your fingers adorned with rings.
"Just trying something new, mom," You told her, messing up your little siblings's hair.
And you bid your household goodbye, feeling a little nervous as you headed off towards school. But all that went away when you pulled into your designated parking spot and spotted Eddie waiting by his van, like he said he would. You smiled as you got your backpack out of your car, but it fell as you heard a voice behind you.
"Y/n?" Josh. "What.. what is all this?"
You turned to look at him, slinging your backpack onto your shoulders, "My.. clothes??"
"And these?" Josh moved to grab at your face, obviously talking about the few hickies and bitemarks littering your neck, little spots where Eddie's canines had imprinted into your skin.
"None of your business," You caught his hand, pushing it away from you. "Now, I've got to go."
Josh could only watch as you shouldered past him and made your way to the Hawkins High's local freak, Eddie Munson. A smile was prominent on your face as you approached him, the metalhead returned it. Josh couldn't hear the words you two spoke as you made your way up to the school.
The basketball player trudged back to his group. And upon the questions on where you were, Josh pointed you two out. They gasped at your appearance. Josh could only watch in distain, eyes wandering over your frame, not that there was much to see under all those clothes, but heat grew inside his chest as he noticed your hand. You were holding hands with Eddie fucking Munson, a comfortable smile on your face. How could he? How could you??
Josh had been courting you, or his version, since day one. Only for you to fall for the freak. He'd corrupted you so quick. Had he placed you under a spell? Perhaps made a deal with the devil?
Josh was determined to figure this out, eyeing you two as you disappeared into the high school.
