"Who the fuck is banging the door this early?" Taehyun grumbled as he pulled himself up from the bed. With eyes barely open, he opened the door to glare at whoever disturbed his sleep.
"Noona? What are you doing here?"
"What do you mean what am I doing here?" Taehyun's sister quickly entered the apartment, placing the bags on the couch. Taehyun followed his sister with his eyes, just noticing his nephew clinging to his sister's side.
"Huh?"
"Don't tell me you forgot." Taehyun tilted his head as he looked at his sister with confusion. "You told me you could babysit Wonie and Nari today."
"What? That's today?!" exclaimed Taehyun as he rushed to grab his phone from the bedside table, immediately checking the calendar app.
"Yes, July 20th, Saturday. Remember? We talked about this 3 weeks ago, Taehyun."
"Oh my god, it really is today! But noona, I already have plans with hyung today!"
"Not my problem. You agreed to me first! Just cancel or reschedule it. Beomgyu will surely be okay with it. Anyway, I have to leave now, I'm running late!" Taehyun's sister crouched down to face his sleepy son.
"Wonie, mama's gonna go now. Remember what I told you? Uncle Taehyunie will play with you while mama is at work. I'll come back home soon with daddy. Look after Nari while I'm gone, okay? You are her big brother after all. Be good for Taehyunie hmm." She planted a kiss on her son's cheek as the little boy nodded.
"Eung mama, bye bye!" He waved his small hands before settling down on the couch. Taehyun is watching the interaction with a smile, cooing as he watched the little boy fluttering his eyes, clearly still too sleepy to keep his eyes open.
"Okay sweetheart~ Taehyun-ah, you know what to do. Wonie is not a big problem since all he needs is his plushie, but this tiger right here will definitely cry as soon as she wakes up. She'll calm down quickly though so don't worry too much, she likes you more than me anyways." Nari was peacefully sleeping as she was passed over to Taehyun's arms, carefully as to not wake her up.
"Bye Hyunnie. Call me if something happens!" She ruffled Taehyun's hair before she left the apartment. The room was now silent, with only Wonie and Taehyun sleepily looking at each other. Taehyun then carried the sleeping Nari and Juwon to his room, planning to sleep a bit more before sunrise. But, as soon as Taehyn set Nari down, the little girl began to cry so he lifted her back up and gently rocked her until she calms down.
Oh. This will be a long day.

"Hyunie! Hyunieee! Wonie hungwy." Taehyun was woken up with little hands shaking him. Nari was already awake on his chest, babbling something incoherent but atleast she's not crying first thing in the morning. Taehyun stretched his back, feeling uncomfortable from sleeping while sitting on the couch for hours.
"Hmm? You hungry? Okayyy~ Wanna help Hyunie make breakfast?"
"Eung!" Juwon gripped Taehyun's pinky with one hand while holding his dinosaur plushie with the other.
Taehyun placed Nari down on the makeshift bed he made on the living room. He can't risk putting her alone on his bed as she's starting to learn to roll over and crawl around. Wonie waddled towards Nari and began playing with her. Taehyun washed the milk bottles as he prepared the baby formula to feed the baby. Taehyun called out to Juwon as he glanced over at Nari who is now sitting up, eyes fixated on the TV.
"What does Wonie want to eat? Do you want pancakes?" Juwon enthusiastically nodded, his eyes lighting up at the mention of his favorite pancakes.
"eung with stwobewwy!"
"strawberry? How many strawberries does Wonie want?" Juwon held up three fingers, maybe because he has learned to count up to three already. Taehyun chuckled at the adorable way the little boy struggled to keep the other two fingers folded.
"Wow! You can count up to three now? Wonie must be so smart! Alright then, Hyunie will whip up some pancakes for you, of course with three strawberries!" Wonie smiled at Taehyun, as the older ruffled his hair. He then lifted him up. as the little boy made grabby hands towards him.
Despite a little (a lot) messy and exhausting, Taehyun enjoyed making pancakes with Juwon. After their breakfast and Nari eating her favorite mashed bananas, the trio lounged on the couch. Nari was dozing off on Taehyun's arms again. Why is this baby always sleepy? Is she a kitten? While Wonie was nestled between Taehyun's legs on the couch, resting his weight against him. The little boy was playing with his plushie as he watched his favorite cartoon on TV. The morning has been going smoothly so far. No crying. No tantrums. Aside from having to change Nari's diaper a few times already. Taehyun might actually get through the day peacefully.
"Sooo boring~ Wonie want play." Juwon grumbled. Well, Taehyun admits that only sitting and lazing around is fun only for him. Of course, the child will want to do something.
"Wonie, wanna to go to the park? Hold on, let me ask your mama first." Taehyun got his phone to message his sister. After a short while, he received a response saying "Sure. Be careful and have fun!"
"Noona agreed! Now now, let's go get ready!" Juwon made happy noises as he leaped off the couch and made his way to Taehyun's room to change clothes. Taehyun changed Nari's clothes into a white hooded jumpsuit, then packed the necessities such as extra clothes, diapers, and wipes in a tote bag.
"Let's wear shoes first. Wonie, promise to stay by Taehyunie's side always, okay?" Juwon nodded as Taehyun puts on his shoes. He then grabbed onto Taehyun's pants with one hand and held on to his dinosaur plushie with the other.
After half an hour at the park, Nari just finished her milk and is now laying her head on Taehyun's shoulder as he softly pats her back to help her burp. Wonie is on the sandbox close to the bench where Taehyun is seated. The little boy is playing with the other kids, waving at Taehyun when their eyes met. Taehyun's phone buzzed in his pocket, notifying him of an incoming call. He answered upon seeing that its was Beomgyu on the line.
"Hello Hyunniee! I'm on my way to yours." Oh right! Fuck. Taehyun forgot to tell Beomgyu.
"Oh my god, hyung. I'm really sorry but can we take a raincheck today? I completely forgot to tell you that I have to babysit my niece and nephew today. I'm sorryyy, Beomgyu-hyung. I'm gonna make it up to you next time, I promise!"
"Oh? You're with Wonie? Can I come see him? Pleaseee... pretty please Hyunie!" Beomgyu's excited tone brought a big smile to Taehyun's face. Beomgyu really loves kids.
"Yeah, hyung, feel free to join us. We're in the park near my place. Wonie is pla-" Taehyun looked at the spot where Juwon was supposed to be playing, but there was no one. Taehyun got up fast and called out for the little boy, scanning the entire park with his eyes, but he was nowhere to be found.
"Wonie! Where are you?" Taehyun felt a sinking feeling on his stomach and his heart raced with anxiety. Oh my God. Oh my God! I got distracted for a bit a-and ... where could he be? Taehyun felt a sense of panic. He can't find Wonie.
"... Hyunnie? Taehyun-ah? What's happening, baby? Are you okay?" Beomgyu's voice snapped Taehyun out of his thoughts. Right, he was talking to Beomgyu on the phone.
"H-hyung. Hyung, I cant f-find Wonie anywhere. He was playing on the sandbox just a moment ago. I lost sight of him briefly a-and... H-hyung, Wonie- I cant find Wonie." Tears are blurring Taehyun's vision as he continue to scan the park, searching for a little boy in brown jacket. He is having a hard time catching his breath with all the crying. Taehyun wiped away his tears, feeling guilty. This is all my fault.
"Baby, calm down please. It's not your fault. We're gonna find him, alright? I'm going straight to the park. Wait for me. Just... just breathe for me, please." Taehyun tried to calm himself down.
Nari surprised Taehyun by gently wiping the tears streaming down his face with her tiny hands. The little girl gazed at Taehyun with a frown on her face as if asking Taehyun "what's wrong?". Nari let out a sniffle as she watched Taehyun still tearing up, eventually burying her face on Taehyun's shoulder to cry alongside him. With her little hands, she hugged Taehyun.
"Don't cry, Nari! We will find oppa, okay? We will find him." Taehyun wiped his tear streaked face, letting out a deep sigh. Get it together, Taehyun. After calming a crying Nari down, Taehyun started approaching other people in the park asking if they have seen the little boy around.
"... say sorry to hyunnie, okay? You made him worry." Taehyun looked back as he recognized the familiar voice. He immediately ran towards Beomgyu who was holding Wonie in his arms.
"Wonie! Are you okay? Where have you been? I have been looking for you everywhere." Taehyun felt a wave of relief wash over him. Tears well up in his eyes once more when he saw Wonie safely tucked in Beomgyu's embrace. Beomgyu lowered him to the ground, and the little boy walked towards Taehyun. Beomgyu took Nari from Taehyun's grasp as he watched the younger kneel down to be at Juwon's level.
"Sowwy hyunnie. Pwease dont cry." Juwon giving Taehyun head pats to make him stop crying.
His heart clenched at the thought of what would happen if Beomgyu didn't find Juwon. Witnessing Taehyun's emotional display, the little boy couldn't help but burst into tears as well. Taehyun reached out to hug the boy tightly, as he continously say sorry to Juwon. Nari, also started sobbing at the sight of his brother crying in Taehyun's arms. Beomgyu watching the moment with a gentle smile, while trying to calm down Nari who eagerly wants to join Taehyun and Juwon in their hug.
Still sniffling, Juwon and Taehyun settled down on the bench in the park. Nari dozed off on Beomgyu's shoulder, perhaps from crying so much earlier.
"Don't do that again, okay? Are you hurt anywhere, Wonie?" Taehyun scanned the little boy all over, checking for scratches or any injuries.
"Sowwy Hyunnie. Wonie is okay. Dino got lost so Wonie find him."
"Did you go and find him on your own earlier?" Juwon nodded. "You should've come to me. I would have helped you search for him."
"Sowwy~ but 'ts okay! Beomie found dino" He smiled at Taehyun, showing the plushie in his hands.
"Alright. I'm just glad you're safe, sweetheart." Taehyun tenderly kissed the top of Juwon's head as he hug the little boy.
"Taehyun-ah. Here, drink some water." Beomgyu said as he handed Taehyun a bottle of water. He was so shaken up earlier. Beomgyu noticed that Taehyun's hand is still shaking.
"Thank you, hyung. For this and for finding Juwon."
"No worries, Hyunnie! Actually, Wonie was the one who found me. He came running towards me as soon as I entered the park." Beomgyu laughed, remembering how the little boy rushed to hug his legs as soon as he recognized him.
"Now, stop crying already! He's safe with us now, Taehyun-ah." Beomgyu said as he tucked Taehyun's hair behind his ear.
"Okay, hyung." Beomgyu leaned down a bit and planted a quick kiss on Taehyun's lips.
"Wonnie wants kiss too!" Wonie exclaimed, making both Taehyun and Beomgyu to chuckle.
"Now! Who wants ice cream?" Taehyun said as he stood up.
"Wonieee!" Juwon exclaimed as he excitedly raised his hand while jumping. "Me too! Let's go get ice cream, little Wonie!" Beomgyu chimed in, also raising his hand.
"Nope nope. No one is getting ice cream until they've had lunch!" Taehyun stated firmly as he took Nari from Beomgyu. Taehyun sensing the little girl getting irritated since she woke up, she will for sure cry if she noticed Taehyun's not the one holding her.
"Pwomise? Wonie wants choco icecweam!" "Yes promise!" Taehyun assured him as he locked pinkies with Juwon.
"Yay! Thank you,Hyunie! Beomie upsie!" Juwon reached out his hands to Beomgyu. The older quickly lifting up Juwon and started animatedly talking with him as if they clearly understand each other. Taehyun stood there, watching their backs as they walk away. He found himself smiling. Beomgyu-hyung will be a great dad someday. Beomgyu paused in his steps when he noticed Taehyun was not following. A smile spread across his face as he looked back to Taehyun, who was holding Nari. Beomgyu approached the younger, taking the tote bag from Taehyun to carry it on his own shoulder. He glanced at Taehyun and intertwined their free hands.
"Let's go, Taehyun-ah." Taehyun smiled and gripped Beomgyu's hand tighter. "Okay hyung"

After having their late lunch, they agreed to take a sroll around the mall before heading back. Taehyun remains anxious after what happened today. Unable to relax completely, he watched Juwon closely not letting the boy out of his sight. Beomgyu noticed Taehyun's uneasiness and quickly lifted the little boy onto his shoulders.
"Wonie, make sure to hold on tight to Beomie, okay?"
"Don't worry Hyunnie! I got him~ Right, Woniee?"
"Eung Beomie is the best!" Beomgyu grinned proudly, looking at Taehyun as if to boast, "Did you hear that?"
"What about Hyunnie?" Taehyun jokingly pouted. He shifted his gaze to Nari as he felt a tiny hand touch his cheek.
"Ba-ba" Taehyun's eyes softened as he heard Nari's babbling. Feeling the warmth of the small hand, Taehyun nuzzled his face against it.
"I love you too, Nari" Taehyun softly kissed the top of her head as she giggled.
"Wonie loves Hyunnie more!"
"Nope. Beomie loves Hyunnie the most!" The playful banter continued until Juwon spotted an indoor play area. Juwon didn't even need to ask twice as Beomgyu was already taking big steps with the little boy still on his shoulders. When Taehyun teased him for being so easily swayed, he grumbled in response, telling Taehyun it cant be helped.
"You won't understand, Tyun. It's cause he has the same eyes as you." What does that even mean? Taehyun was confused but ignored it as Wonie was already tugging on Beomgyu's pants to play with him.
"We're gonna stay here on the bench until some of the kids leave. Nari will just be irritated if there are too many people around." Taehyun told Beomgyu as Juwon dragged him to the ball pit. Beomgyu nodded.
"Tell me if you need something, kay?"
"Okay. And uhm... Hyung?" Taehyun called out hesistantly before the older gets farther.
"Sorry for cancelling our date today." Taehyun actually feels bad since he knows Beomgyu planned for their supposed date today for weeks.
"What do you mean? We are on a date right now, aren't we?" Beomgyu flashed a soft smile at Taehyun before shifting his gaze towards the little boy, who was eagerly looking forward to playing with him.
Taehyun watched Beomgyu and Wonie in awe, as the two enjoyed playing on the slide. They both waved at Taehyun before sliding down together. Taehyun couldn't help but smile as he watch Juwon giggling while being tickled by Beomgyu. Hyung plays with Wonie so well.
"Your husband and son looks so cute~" A woman's voice suddenly caught Taehyun's attention. Turning to his right, he was greeted by the kind smile of a woman holding a baby around the same age as Nari.
"Sorry?" Did he hear it right?
"Oh Sorry for surprising you haha~ I just can't help but comment on how lovely your family is."
"Ah, oh no, w-we are n-" Taehyun stammered, feeling embarased as heat creep up his face. Did she think that the four of us is a family?
"And your daughter! Oh my gosh~ she looks so much like you. So cuteeee!" Nari on Taehyun's lap let out a delighted sound in response. She clearly didn't understand anything, but likes the attention she was receiving nonetheless.
"T-thank you." Taehyun doesn't know whether he should confess the truth or just go with it.
"Oh dear! Looks like your son is calling for you already." The woman gestured to
Beomgyu and Juwon's direction. The little boy was indeed calling him to come join them play.
"We're gonna have to go now too. Enjoy, dear!" The woman smiled at him before getting up and walking away. Taehyun bowed politely, still taken aback after the stranger referred to Beomgyu as his husband and thought his niece and nephew as their children. His thoughts where interupted when he heard Beomgyu calling his name.
"Hyunnie, baby! Come here~ play with us!"
"Hyunnie playyy with Wonie!" Taehyun stood up and walked towards the pair. Holding Nari as she wiggled in Taehyun's arms seemingly eager to play now too. "Coming!"
Thinking of Beomgyu as his husband definitely made Taehyun feel things. The mere idea caused his face to flush with warmth. His lips unconciously tugged into a smile. Husbands, huh? I'd really love that. Building a family with Beomgyu in the future is definitely a nice thought.
"... Taehyun-ah? Are you okay? Why is your face so red? Are you sick?" Beomgyu touched Taehyun's forehead before putting another hand on his own. Wonie copied Beomgyu, putting his hand on Taehyun's legs and then feeling his own forehead. They both tilted their heads in confusion, wondering if Taehyun might really be sick since he feels kinda cold to touch. Or Is that because of the air conditioning? Taehyun let out a laugh as he watched the pair's serious faces, doubling over from laughing too much.
The four of them played around for hours until the kids got exhausted. Nari is now sleeping peacefully on Taehyun's chest. Wonie is literally dragging his feet as he walks sleepily while holding Beomgyu's hand. The little boy refused to be carried, insisting that there's no need to do so since he is not a baby anymore.
"Hyung, make sure he stays awake for a little longer. He has to eat dinner before we go home or else he will wake up grumpy tomorrow."
"Wonie~ Wonieee! You heard what Hyunnie said, right? Let's eat first!" Beomgyu faced Juwon who was barely opening his eyes. "If you wake up and eat, Beomie's gonna treat you to ice cream!"
"Icecweam?" Wonie's face brightened, looking at Beomgyu expectantly. He is now wide awake. Beomgyu nodded, as he shared a laugh with Taehyun. God, Wonie really looks like Taehyun.
After having dinner, Juwon drifted off to sleep before Beomgyu could give him his ice cream. Taehyun making sure to remember to get him one tomorrow instead. Beomgyu carried the sleeping Juwon on his back and offered to hold Nari too so that Taehyun could rest for a bit. The younger declined the offer even though his body is already stiff from carrying the baby the whole day.
"Aren't you tired?" Beomgyu asked Taehyun, glancing at him. Beomgyu is aware Taehyun will never ever admit to feeling tired.
"Hyung, Nari is kinda heavy. Carrying both of them will be more tiring for you. Don't worry I can still manage till we get back."
"Then, the more reason I should be the one to carry her home. Now now, don't argue with me anymore." Beomgyu slowly got Nari from the younger. Taehyun let out a sigh. He knows he can't win over Beomgyu, so he just helped adjust the position of Juwon on Beomgyu's back and Nari on the older's chest supported by the baby carrier, making sure that they're comfortable.
The sky had already turned dark by the time they reached Taehyun's apartment. Beomgyu placed both children on Taehyun's bed slowly, careful not to wake them up. He put up lots of pillows around the two, then left the room quietly. Beomgyu saw Taehyun busy washing Nari's bottles.
"Baby, I'm gonna take a shower first." He stretched his arms above his head.
"Sure hyung. Are you tired already? Do you want to watch a movie later?"
"Nope. I'm not tired at all! Oh and I came across this interesting movie last night- Let's watch that!" Taehyun nodded. Beomgyu pecked Taehyun's lips before he headed towards the bathroom. Half an hour later, Beomgyu got out the bathroom.
"Holy shit. That was so relaxing. I almost fell asleep standing." Beomgyu said with a yawn.
"C'mere hyung. I'm gonna dry your hair first before I take a shower."
Beomgyu sat on the floor with his legs crossed. Taehyun sitting on the couch behind him. The soft whirr of the hairdryer was the only sound filling the room. The feel of Taehyun's fingers running through Beomgyu's hair was nice. Beomgyu almost dozing off because of how comfortable it is. This has become a routine between the pair, but Beomgyu will never get tired of this.
"All done. I'm gonna take a shower now. I'll be quick so you can set up the movie while you wait, hyung" Beomgyu nodded, eyes trained on Taehyun as he got up from the couch. Beomgyu held Taehyun's wrist, the younger looked back confused. Beomgyu pouts his lips asking for a kiss, Taehyun giggled as he leaned in.
A few minutes later, Taehyun comes out of the bathroom with a towel around his shoulders. He looked around searching for Beomgyu. Did he go out to buy something? Taehyun went into his room to check if the kids were still asleep. And, there he is. Beomgyu sleeping soundly next to Nari and Juwon, with his arms around them.
"Not tired at all, huh?" Taehyun whispered with a soft chuckle. They looked so adorable snuggled closely together. Taehyun smiled as he hurriedly took a photo of the three. I'm gonna send this to noona.
Taehyun couldn't help but imagine Beomgyu sleeping with their kids like this in the future. That would be a nice sight to look at. Just the thought of it brought warmth to Taehyun's heart. He tucked the blankets around them snugly. After giving Nari and Juwon a kiss on the cheek, he planted a gentle kiss on Beomgyu's forehead. "Thank you, hyung." he whispered before he exited the room. Even though he was exhausted, Taehyun found it difficult to fall asleep. Therefore, he decided to sip tea and step out onto the balcony to get some fresh air. Taking in a deep breath, Taehyun felt the cool air caress his skin. It's not that cold tonight, so he opted to remain outside for a short while.
So much happened today. He still can't stop thinking how Wonie almost got lost because of him. Then, Beomgyu came with Wonie in his arms. The four of them spending time together. And, a random woman mistaking them for a family. Taehyun's heart skip a bit. Taehyun and Beomgyu haven't talked about the future in detail yet, even though they have been in a relationship for six years already. And if you ask Taehyun, It was the best six years of his life.
They're practically living together with how frequent the other stays over in each other's places. But, taehyun would love to live with Beomgyu permanently. He imagines waking up next to Beomgyu everyday, mornings spent making breakfast together, kissing Beomgyu goodbye as the older heads to work, welcoming the older home since Taehyun's shift at daycare ends earlier, eating takeouts together late at night, and falling asleep in each other's embrace. That will be so nice. Taehyun enjoyed the warm feeling of imagining a future with Beomgyu.
As he gazed up the night sky, he felt warm hands on his waist. Beomgyu leaned his head on Taehyun's shoulder, wrapping his arms around Taehyun from behind.
"Baby, I'm sorry I fell asleep. " Beomgyu's voice was sleepy.
"It's okay, hyung. We have the whole day tomorrow." Taehyun reassured him with a smile.
"Mmm- What are you doing out here in the cold?" Beomgyu nuzzled closer to Taehyun, pressing his nose against the younger's neck. Taehyun can even feel the older's warm breath as he talks with how close they are.
"I'm gonna sleep after getting some fresh air." The wind blew slightly harder, causing Taehyun to feel Beomgyu's arms around him tighten. In the chilly night, a comfortable silence enveloped them, as Taehyun looked up at the stars while Beomgyu held him close with his eyes shut.
"I had a great time with you and the kids today, Taehyun-ah."
"Me too. And, I want to thank you for your help, hyung." Beomgyu hummed, adjusting his head on Taehyun's shoulder to get a glimpse of the younger's face.
"You really saved me today, hyung. I really don't know if I would have survived today without you. It will be nice if we can, maybe hangout with the kids again if you want. I think Nari and Wonie will like it too." Taehyun smiled as Beomgyu nodded. He leaned his head back to give Beomgyu a soft kiss. After they pulled apart, Beomgyu returned to nuzzling Taehyun's neck as silence took over them once again.
"Hey, Taehyun-ah? Do you want to marry me?" Taehyun flinched, making the older loosen his hold on him. What did he just say? Taehyun doesn't know if he misheard Beomgyu.
"H-hyun-" Taehyun faced Beomgyu, seeing panic reflected in the older's eyes.
"I-i didn't mean n-now. I just felt like asking maybe you want to get m-married someday, and you know live together and settle down? Actually, I have been saving up and found some nice place already. We can look at them whenever you want. I-if only you want to though. I'm not rushing you or anything. Right now was also nice. I love sleeping over here at your place and you at mine. But, the idea of us living together in one place keeps crossing my mind and ... it feels so nice, Taehyun." Beomgyu looked at him and smiled.
"But a-again, I understand if you don't want to-" Beomgyu then avoided Taehyun's eyes. The older flailing his arms, looking everywhere but him.
"Hyun-"
"And Hyunie, I know we haven't talked about this yet but someday ... after we get married and settle down maybe we can start are own little family. I would love to see little Taehyuns running around. But it's completely fine if you don't feel like it, with kids or no kids. I'm fine with it as long as I have you. Its just... seeing you today with Nari and taking care of Wonie. I can't help but to think... no, I know that you will be a great dad someday! And before you think of what happened today, Taehyun, it's not your fault so stop blaming yourself. The kids surely loved spending today with you."
"You know I literally stopped breathing earlier when I looked back at you in the park, you looking so breathtakingly beautiful while holding Nari. The image of you with our own kid keeps replaying in my mind. And, I-It felt really really nice thinking about it. You and Me, and our kids." Beomgyu sighed.
"I know I'm rambling right now and probably embarassing myself. But I just want to tell you..." A short pause. Taehyun's heart racing.
"Taehyun-ah, I really really love you so much. And, I really want to spend everyday of life with you. I really can't imagine my future without you in it anymore. So, um, I hope you feel the same way too-" Beomgyu finally looked at Taehyun in the eyes.
Words won't come out of Taehyun's mouth. He stared at Beomgyu, eyes wide and mouth slightly open. It was silent. Taehyun could barely hear the distant honking of the cars because his heart was pounding loudly on his ears. He wondered if Beomgyu could hear it from across him. Beomgyu, with his face flustered, looked down thinking he overdid it and ruined everything. The heavy silence around them made it worse. Beomgyu's heart dropped, he can't read Taehyun's expression at all. I fucked it up, didn't I?
"Hyung." Taehyun spoke gently. "Beomgyu-hyung, please look at me." Beomgyu felt warm hand on his cheek, making him turn towards the younger. Taehyun has a smile on his face, tears trickling down his face slowly. Beomgyu flinched, his eyes widened in surprise as he watched Taehyun cry in front of him.
"Taehyun-ah? W-why are you crying, baby? Is something wrong?" Beomgyu immediately wiped away the tears on Taehyun's face.
"I really hate you, hyung" Beomgyu froze, he let his hands fall on his side. Taehyun went closer, leaning his forehead on Beomgyu's shoulder.
"I really hate you. Did you just propose to me on a random saturday night? I'm wearing my hello kitty pajamas, hyung." Huh? Beomgyu was so confused. What's wrong with hello kitty pajamas? He looks cute in it.
"I was the one who's supposed to ask you, hyung. I can't believe you beat me into it again." Taehyun sighed as he remembered Beomgyu asking him to be his boyfriend six years ago, before Taehyun even had the chance to carry-out his plan he thought of ... for weeks. It was a shame but Taehyun admits Beomgyu is a lot better at doing this kind of stuff.
"And by the way... my answer is yes." Taehyun lifted his head up from Beomgyu's shoulder, slightly looking up at Beomgyu. The older stood there silently, his brain working full-time.
"Hyung? Are you still there?" Taehyun chuckled as he watched Beomgyu's confused face. He reached up to smoothen Beomgyu's bed head.
"Are you for real?" Beomgyu swallowed the lump forming on his throat. Looking nervous as his eyes glisten with tears.
"Of course I am, hyung. I, too, wanna spend everyday of my life with you, with our family." Taehyun smiled widely, tears streaming down his face. "Beomgyu-hyung, let's get married. Hmm?"
Beomgyu closed the distance between them, immediately pressing his lips to Taehyun's. Taehyun closed his eyes, feeling the familiar weight of Beomgyu's lips on his. Every kiss with Beomgyu feels like the first time, their lips fitting together perfectly like a puzzle. Taehyun doesn't know what to do with his hands, awkwardly placing them on top of Beomgyu's as he grips the younger's waist. Beomgyu took Taehyun's hands, lifting it to his shoulders. Taehyun then wrapped his arms around the back of Beomgyu's head, fingers carding through the older's hair. Taehyun's lips tasted like his strawberry chapstick, soft and warm as always. Beomgyu kissed him gently as he draw Taehyun closer by the waist, pressing their bodies closer. Taehyun broke the kiss, resting his forehead on Beomgyu's. Eyes still closed while catching his breath, feeling their warm breaths tickling each other's skin.
"I love you, Beomgyu-hyung."
"Thank you for being part of my life, baby. I love you always, my Taehyunie."
Beomgyu leaned in for another kiss, tilting their heads slightly. His hands wandered over Taehyun's clothed waist and back, feeling the fabric soft on his hands. Beomgyu lightly nibbled on Taehyun's bottom lip, making the younger part his lips with a groan. Beomgyu took this chance to deepen the kiss. Taehyun's legs felt weak, prompting him to step back until he was met with the cool touch of the wall. The kiss not breaking even a second. Beomgyu's hand slipped under Taehyun's shirt, softly caressing the skin under it. Taehyun's body heats up in response, hearbeat quickening with every touch. Beomgyu's touch lingered, spreading a comforting warmth through the younger's body. Beomgyu's lips left Taehyun's for a second to place gentle kisses on the younger's neck down to his collar bones. Taehyun subconciously angling his head to the side, wanting more of the pleasure he is feeling. He tried (keyword: tried) to supress a whine, muffling it with the back of his hand as Beomgyu sucked a mark on a sensitive spot on his neck and licking it over after. Beomgyu moved away, looking at Taehyun with red swollen lips, half-lidded eyes, flustered face, and breathless. Kang Taehyun, you are driving me crazy.
"Wow, baby. You looked so- How about we do the honeymoon tonight? hmm ... What do you think?" Taehyun felt heat rising to his cheeks. He is aware how intensely he was blushing right now.
"Fuck you, hyung."
"No, Taehyun-ah. It should be fuck you." Beomgyu joked, raising his eyebrows teasingly. Taehyun flicked Beomgyu's forehead to save himself from further embarassment and teasing. He glared at Beomgyu, leaning against the wall for support since his knees haven't recovered yet.
"In case you forgot. We have kids in this apartment with us right now, hyung."
"Ah, right. What a major cockblocker." Beomgyu crossed his arms, pouting.
"Words, hyung!" Taehyun sighed. "Sometimes, I wonder if you are really my boyfriend or my kid." Taehyun let out a laugh upon seeing Beomgyu with a huge "Excuse me?" plastered on his face. He looked so offended, but still joining in on the laughter.
"I'm not your boyfriend though. I'm your fiance, right?" Taehyun's lips unconciously tugged into a smile. Hearing it from Beomgyu was nice.
"You are so annoying, hyung." he rolled his eyes in irritation, but the smile on his face says otherwise.
Beomgyu tugged Taehyun's wrist, pulling the younger towards him and hugging him by the waist again. Taehyun's head resting comfortably on Beomgyu's shoulders, as he hugged the older back. Taehyun closed his eyes, basking in the comforting warmth coming from Beomgyu. He sighed in relief, their bodies relaxing in each other's hold.
The day is coming to an end, but Taehyun is in no rush. His doubts and worries melted away as he felt Beomgyu embracing him tightly. So warm. It's okay to take things slow, one step at a time. Because, they have all the time in their hands now. From now on, they will be coming home in each other's arms. Taehyun and Beomgyu will be spending eternity together, just like they were destined to be.
