Kimizuki and Lacus were lounging around on the couch in their shared, one floor apartment. The pink haired teen was sitting up straight in the middle, reading a book about a vampire apocalypse, while the other one was laying across him, one leg behind Kimizuki's head on the back of the couch while the other was on his lap, and reading a popular girl's magazine, also on and off bothering his boyfriend.
"Hey, Zuzu..." the lavender haired teen called as he looked away from his magazine and towards the one he spoke of.
"Hmm?" the taller one hummed in response before bookmarking his place and closing his book, "What is it this time, Lacus?"
"Well," the shorter one started, averting his gaze upwards and flinging his hands outwards, not really caring that he just threw his magazine across the room, excitedly like a puppy, "I was thinking, since both of our hair dye is dulling and needs to be redone, why don't we switch colours for a change?"
"Huh?" Kimizuki intelligently responded.
"What? It'll only be like, uh, for a month!"
"Only a month?" the pink haired teen growled, then set down his book on the coffee table before grabbing both of Lacus's arms and pinning him down, hovering above him, "Only a month? What the fuck? I don't want your stupid purple hair!"
"Yeah, but yours is pink!" the smaller one giggled before chaste kissing him briefly.
The taller one rolled his eyes before letting the lavender haired teen go, getting up off of him, and standing up beside the couch. The other soon got up too but he went to the island across from the couch and sat down in one of the chairs in front of it, turning it to face Kimizuki.
"C'mon, it'll be fun!"
"No," he stated firmly before going over to sit next to his boyfriend.
"Why not~?" Lacus slightly sang as he poked pink haired teen with a straw (that apparently Kimizuki didn't see him grab from the straw cup).
"Because."
"Because?"
"Fuck off."
"I'm taking that as a yes!"
"Ugh," the taller one groaned as he laid down his head on the cold surface of the island, knowing he was gonna be forced into it one way or another. He couldn't even physically fight back due to Lacus's weird strength.

Three days later (or one day from when the dying of the hair happened)...
"Did you dye your hair a different colour?" Yuu started the conversation once everyone was seated.
"Nah dip, Sherlock! He obviously saw the great wonders of purple hair and decided to dye it the same colour as mwah!" Shinoa enthusiastically claimed and flung a hand to her chest when she incorrectly said "me".
It was lunch time at school and the Shinoa squad were currently sat in the cafeteria. And of fucking course they'd notice his purple hair.
"Why did you change it?" Yoichi innocently asked, ignoring everyone's usual bullshit.
"Lacus wanted to switch."
"So, wait, is his hair pink now?" Mitsuba dumbly questioned.
"Oh god, I have to get Mika to send me a picture!" Yuu excitedly announced since Mika and Lacus were friends, and pulled out his phone, typing his password, then a text to his blond boyfriend.

At Mika's school...
"Hey, Lacus, Yuu wants a picture of your new hair colour."
"Hmm, really?" the now pink haired teen asked but struck a pose anyways, "Make sure to get my best angle!"
The blond rolled his eyes before quickly snapping a photo of him and sending it to Yuu.
"Hey, hey! I wanna see it!" Lacus complained as he leaned over Mika's shoulders to look at his phone.
"Too late; I already sent it," he deadpanned.
"What?!"

But wasn't Lacus the only thing in focus- oh, Yuu though to himself before silently laughing.

"I know; it looks weird swapped, right?" Kimizuki groaned, obviously thinking the raven haired teen was laughing at Lacus's hair.

A week later at the apartment...
"Zuzu~!" Lacus called from the bathroom where he was staring at himself in the mirror.
"What?" the lavender haired teen called back from their bedroom across the hall, while writing an essay on the laptop they shared.
"I think I'm growing to like the pink colour on me!"
"No, you're gonna fucking change it back after this month is over!"
"Don't be such a party pooper!"
"What are you? Five?!"

Another week...
The couple were both sprawled out on the couch in pajamas, watching tv while eating some chips- well at least Kimizuki was. They were only at home since their schools had the Monday off for some reason.
"Do you think I act like Charity?" Lacus started.
"Hmm... you're more of a mix with her and Inkie. Plus you look more like Inkie right now," the taller one slightly joked and ruffled the pink haired teen's hair.
"Don't mess up my beautiful combed hair!" he whined but made no move to push away his boyfriend's hand.

A week from the day they change back...

I thought I told you not to text me in class
What do you want?

Lacus:
I think I'm gonna miss seeing you with that perfect shade of lavender in your hair

The day after dying it to their previous colours...
"I am never doing that again! Fuck your stupid ideas!" Kimizuki practically yelled at Lacus after they got home from school.
"Why are you so mean to me?" the back to being purple haired teen fake sniffed and pretended to look like he was about to cry but ruined it by giggling a bit.
