"Len, have you packed yet?" Rin shouted, going through her drawer. She was just about ready, but wanted to double check everything. They were going to the beach for a while and she wanted to be prepared. "Rin, do I seriously have to go? You know sun isn't like, my thing..." Len said, putting his cigarette out of his mouth. Rin ran over to Len. She noticed the cigarette and yanked it out of his hand.
"God, you're so immature. C'mon, Meiko, Fukase, Gumi, Luka, and even Miku will be there! Along with so many more people!"
Rin exclaimed. But Len stopped paying attention when he heard Miku would come.
"Alright, I'll pack."
Len said, looking down embarrassed.
Rin was pleased that Len was going to go with her and the others. Although she was slightly surprised.
"We're heading out in an hour." Rin said, before heading out. She pointed finger guns at him with a smile.
"WHA- How am I supposed to do my makeup in time!" Len screeched.
"One hour!" Rin yelled.
"Ugh... Stupid Rin..." Len mumbled.
He then realized how he BRUTALLY embarrassed himself.
What was he thinking?
Going to the beach wasn't Len's ideal type of killing time, He prefers staying inside gaming or watching anime.
At least he could see his sister having fun?
Len was rummaging through his crap, tryin to find clothes. He found expired food and gross plates, those Pac-Man vape things (Witch he ended up putting in his suitcase), Broken Nintendo Switch controllers, Song scripts, Hell he even found a few broken Makoto Naegi figures.
Finally, he found at least a few good pieces of clothing, and 2 bathing suit's.
"Hey Len, you done yet? The van is about to be here."
Rin asked, peeking in Len's room.
"Holy... You seriously need to clean your room when we get home." Rin blurted.
Len put down his mascara and said,
"I was able to pack some stuff for the vacation." Len said, and started doing his makeup again.
Rin checked Len's bag, unsurprised that nothing was folded, and seeing random crappy snacks and vapes.
"Len..." Rin was about to start lecturing Len, but was interrupted by the bus honking.
"This discussion isn't over, Len." Rin said before excitedly running to the van.
Secretly excited, Len mumbled, "Why couldn't we rent a plane?" And sprinted to the door.
"Hey guys!" Meiko exclaimed, getting out of the driver's seat in the van. "HEY MEIKOOO!!" Rin ran up and hugged Meiko, who was like a mother to not only her, but pretty much everyone. "Hey Meiko. I'm glad you're the one driving."
Len said to Meiko. After that, he put himself and Rin's luggage in the back of the van, while mumbling about how Rin was being useless. While he was doing that, Rin went in the van, immediately going for her girlfriend Gumi.
So Len sat alone at the end of the bus, but at least he had two seats all for himself.
He thought about maybe even taking a nap. "Now, our last stop is Miku's!" Kaito (Who was the dad in the group) said while in the front seat, sitting next to Meiko. Len turned his back straight and thought he was going to die.
But since he was in the very back, Miku wouldn't see him because she would be sitting in front, right?
"Hey Miku!" Meiko said, as she stopped by Miku's house.
"Meiko! Hey!" Miku said after putting her luggage up. Miku was popular and well liked by literally everyone. To the point where the world was literally hers. Miku stepped in the bus. She said hi to everyone, and then sat down next to Len, because Len's dumbass self didn't notice that it was the only seat left. "Hi, Kagamine!" Miku said. Her and Len wern't really on first-name baias
"H-Hi Hatsune!"
Len's entire self completely changed. Rin probably would've made fun of Len if she wasn't talking to her girlfriend Gumi... And if she wasn't oblivious to Len's crush on Miku.
"I'm super excited for this trip, I bought like, 1,00000 new clothes and stuff for it! You know, we should go shopping on the trip!" Miku said excitedly. Miku and Len were friends enough, but mostly just associated from Rin, Who was Miku's good friend.
"I mean, sure... If that's what you want." Len spoke. Miku smiled, "I'm glad we can spend some time together, you know? Since we're going to be on this bus for awhile." Miku looked out the window. "I'm friends with all the other's, but I've always been interested in talking to you. Is that weird?" Miku asked.
"Sort of... I mean, It's cool that you want to get to know me. And um..." Len said shyley.
"Really..? Well then, Tell me all about you!" Miku smiled.
"I guess you could say I'm kinda average compared to everyone else." Len said.
It was obvious his self esteem was damaged.
"That's okay, You're probably still really cool!" Miku told Len. "Yeah, whatever..."
They sat in a silence for awhile, before Miku asked, "Is it true that your a pervert?" Miku stupidly asked. "Nah... The stupid producers just make me sing weirdo songs."
"It's Not my fault. Is it true that your spoiled as hell?" Len asked.
"Eheh...Maybe..." Miku replied. Len sighed.
"Maybe I shouldn't take you shopping this vacation." Len said sarcastically.
"Wait... I'll pay and stuff! Just please take mee!" Miku begged, witch made Len laugh. She was oblivious to his sarcasm witch just made her all the more cute. Not that Len would ever admit it, though.
"I was just joking, idiot."
He said.
"Okay, thats good. I would've freaked out, 'cause my friends rarely shop with me because we all end up spending all our money, and then we have nobody to carry our stuff!" Miku complained.
"..."
Len questioned whether he should go shopping with Miku, but for real this time.
Hey, does anyone want to go out and get some snacks? There's a gas station around five minutes away!" Kaito said joyfully.
Everyone cheered. "Hey, Len, can you buy me some snacks? Pleaaasseee???" Rin turned around and asked.
"Yeah! Please Len?" Len and Gumi were close enough to be considered friends, considering Gumi's fucking his sister.
Len sighed.
"Yeah, sure...Whatever.. Hatsune, you want anything too? I'll pay."
Len said. He knew it was pointless to argue with his sister, so he might as well pay for Miku's snacks as well, right? That's the logic that Len used anyways. "Oh, yeah, sure! Thank's Kagamine!" Miku softly smiled, happily accepting free snacks. It would be rude to decline, right?
Rin noticed that Len and Miku were both acting kind of weird. She thought to investigate it later.
"We're here!" Kaito yelled. Everyone started smiling.
An hour in a car wasn't very long, but Vocaloid's are so used to dancing and moving around that it felt like forever to them. Miku, Len, Rin, and Gumi were walking to the store, when suddenly, Miku's shoulder was grabbed.
"Miku!!!" Teto exclaimed. "Hey Miku." Teto said, while taking a selfie.
"Hey girls!!" Miku jumped.
"I'll go on ahead." Len said.
"Tell me when you want to check out, and I'll pay." Len spoke.
And then Gumi, Rin, and Len headed off. Miku looked at them and smiled. "Is that your boyfriend?" Neru asked. "Oh, No, we're just friends, ahaha." Miku nervously giggled. "Sure..." Teto teased.
Len was taking a look at the store, finding some little star hairpins that were hot pink, like Miku's hair tie things. He put them in his pocket. Rin walked up to Len, while Gumi was checking out some candies.
"Hey, what's the deal between you and Miku?" Rin asked.
"Me and Hatsune? We're just friends. I mean like, she's super um... Not pretty anyways, like I'd ever like her, and Like... Um..WE'RE JUST FRIENDS OKAY?"
Len said as his face turned into a literal tomato. Even more red then that even.
"Okayyy..." Rin said suspiciously then walked away.
"What's his deal?" She thought. Len sighed, calming down. "Oh, by the wa-" Len jumped, and Rin just stared at him. "By the way, here's me and Gumi's food. Thanks Len!!"
Rin said, with a mocking-like smile. Len didn't even want to pay, but could he ever say no to Rin? Len grabbed some banana-flavored whatever, right before Miku walked up and presented her food. It was kind of a lot, but Len didn't mind if it was for Miku. "Alright, I'll go pay for this." Len said, as he went up to the counter and proceeded to buy some junk food. He gave Gumi and Rin their snacks, and then Miku got her snack.
When they were walked back to the van, Teto asked Miku if she wanted to sit next to her, which Miku accepted. The triple baka squad decided to swap out every stop. Meaning that for the time being, Neru was stuck with Len.
Len sat in the van, and remembered that he technically stole hair pins for no reason. It's not like he was going to give them to Miku or anything, he just got reminded of Miku when he saw them. Neru sat next to Len, and the two just sat on their phones in silence for awhile, until Neru broke a conversation. "So, Miku huh?" Neru asked, with a board expression on her face while scrolling through Tumbler.
"W-What? No, I'm not really interested in her or anything.."
Len tried explaining, but it was obvious he was lying through his teeth.
"It's fine, It's not like you stand a chance anyways." Neru explained.
"Miku has tons of fans, your just another one of them. Not to be rude or anything though." Neru told Len. It was the truth though. "Akita, You've got the wrong idea, I promise you-" Len said. "Well, I might have the wrong idea, who knows. I'm gonna ask to be switched out with Fukase or something. As cool as you may seem, I'm not hanging around yet another Miku simp. It gets tiring, you know?"
Neru said, in the same bored voice she always has. "Well, see you around, Kagamine." and Neru was off.
Although rather quickly, Fukase popped up. "Helloo Len!" He exclaimed.
"Oh, hey Fukase. What's up?" Len said. Fukase was about Len's only friend in the world, other then his sister and his sisters girlfriend. It was almost embarrassing how popular and famous Len was, yet he still only had around three good friends.
Fukase and Len chatted a bunch.
Fukase kept badgering Len about his smoking habit, ect ect. Len was greatful that he knew at least one person who wasn't his sister on this trip. They were chatting, but the Van finally stopped, and it was time... Everyone jumped out to see the amazing, sandy beach. Although despite wanting to go right then and there, Kaito reasoned that it would be best to get in their hotel first.
Their hotel was decently big. Miku,Teto,And Neru would sleep together, Rin and Gumi, Fukase and Gakupo, Meiko and Kaito, and Luka and Lily, leaving Len with a room of his own.
