In which Damian Wayne Loosens Up

Summary:

Damian is lonely, so he decides to prank the Justice League.

With the help of Jason.

And Dick.

Just about everyone, really.

Chapter 1: Plotting.

Chapter Text

When Damian awoke that morning, he was noticeably alone in the manor.

Alfred had left a note on the fridge, stating his absence for the day.

Drake didn’t return to the manor last night, opting for his apartment.

Todd was in Crime Alley, where he’d been for months. Not even bothering to call his akhi.

Richard couldn’t get away from the police force in Bludhaven, even though he had expressed his most sincere apologies.

And Father was at the Watchtower. In a very important Justice League meeting.

Which left Damian alone with his thoughts.

Or.. plots.

A while ago, Richard had schooled him in the ways of manipulating Father.

And he had yet to put this new skill to the test.

The phone only rang for a moment before Richard picked up.

“Hello?” His chirpy, enthusiastic voice rang through the speaker.

“Richard. I require your opinion.”

“Shoot.”

“Father is at the Watchtower. As of yet, I am unaware if the inhabitants know of our existence.”

“Lil’D. Tell me you’re saying what I think you’re saying.”

“I cannot inform you of your own thoughts, Grayson.”

“No, but. Are you thinking of pranking the League?”

A short pause. Damian smirked before answering. “Affirmative.”

“Holy shit, you’re gonna prank the League.”

Damian chuckled slightly. “Yes.”

“Hold on, I gotta call Jason.”

The line rang for a moment before Jason’s voice, though exhausted, moaned through the line. “Hello?”

“JASON, DAMI’S GONNA PRANK THE LEAGUE!” Dick shouted, making Damian wince and pull the phone away from his ear.

Jason, after a series of thuds, -making one wonder if he had fallen off his bed?- asked in a much more awake voice, “wait really?”

“Affirmative,” was Damian’s response. To which he added, “And I believe I shall require assistance, Todd.”

“Fuck, yeah! I’ll take the zeta tubes to the manor!”

Minutes later, Todd arrived at the manor, clambering up the stairs with a maniacal grin on his face.

“Let’s go terrorize the League!” He shouted, laying out a map drawn in stick figures and some glitter glue.

“What is this, Todd?” Damian asked incredulously.

“I’ve been planning this since I was twelve years old, Demon Spawn.”

“He has,” Dick smiled, walking up the stairs like a normal person. “It was kinda fun drawing that map, though.”

“I assume the glitter was you?” Damian asked, raising an eyebrow at his eldest brother.

“No, that was Steph. She got a hold on this like three years ago.”

“That explains the purple.”

Anyway!” Jason interrupted, flattening out the white craft paper. “Step one: blow up B’s room on the Watchtower.”

“That will cause a vacuum into space,” Damian scowled, crossing his arms.

“It’ll seal itself,” Jason waved his hand dismissively, moving forward with the rest of the plan.

After two hours of revision, the plan was set.

And as Damian stood in the Zeta tube, a smirk crept onto his face.

This would be fun.
