Dancing is always been Nilou’s favorite activity. When she’s alone, she’s straight up dancing for her own, admiring the nature while enjoying the presence of silence, recite the melodies of the music in her head, silently dancing. Especially after she came back from Simulanka, her love for nature seems to raise.
Enjoying the silence, she moves her body a little bit while reminiscence of the music in her head—it’s a bliss. Until the bushes moves and startled her.
“—Ah!” Nilou was taken aback, afraid it was a hilicurl, but then a familiar blue-ish head with eastern pattern clothes were out from the bushes—minus, his hat is in his hand.
“…oh, it’s you.”
“Hat Guy!” Nilou exclaimed, smiling to see someone she knew—at least he’s not a hilicurl. She knows this guy in front of her is not pretty nice in conversation, but a lil chit-chat won’t hurt, right? “You look rushed, what are you doing here?”
“Hiding from the guy named Sethos,” he said, slowly putting his head, “I swear that guy need to learn some privacy and boundaries…”
Wanderer sighing, and Nilou could only let out an uncomfortable giggle. She take a mental note to keep a respected distance a.k.a boundaries with Hat Guy. After cleaning some leaves from his clothes, he slowly looks at NIlou.
“…This seems like a good hiding spot, mind if I stay here to kills time?”
Nilou let out a smile, “Oh? No problem! I’ll only leave you in silence while dancing… if that makes you feels …better?”
Letting out a small smirk, Hat Guy nodded his head, “…It’s more than enough.”
Sitting while leaning through a tree, Hat Guy just chilling there, didn’t let out any sound, while Nilou keep dancing her moves. Both enjoying the moment of silence, minding their own business. Nilou who focused on her moves didn’t realize Hat Guy’s eyes that watching her for quite times. When Nilou pause at the moment to think about her next move, Hat Guy nod his head, “Looks like miss dancer really have eye-catching movement.”
Nilou quickly face him, “Y-you were watching me the whole time?”
“I have nothing else to do, what do you expect me to do? so?”
“Well, I thought…” she slowly walks to him, “…I thought you’ll only enjoying the silence?”
“I am.” Hat guy said, “I’m not the only one here and you’re not a ghost, it’s not my fault if I see you.”
Good point. After their interaction in Simulanka, Nilou realizes several things about Hat Guy. His words were harsh but his action was kind. He doesn’t hate it when someone talks to him. All in all, he’s not a bad person, he’s just has a unique introvert personality. He’s understand Durin pretty well like it’s a familiar feeling for him. Even when she approach him, he didn’t resent that.
“Well, Mr. Hero of Simulanka, I suggest you have a good point.” She tried to copy the way he talk. He let out a smile scoff.
“That was a stupid title, it’s not suitable for me, miss Forest Fairy.”
“But IT IS suit for you,” Nilou said, “…you saved us, several times. Choosing my thigh… yeah… a-and understand Durin, making him calm—that’s actually suits you.”
Hat Guy just look at him, didn’t even flinch or give her an expression, Nilou was afraid that she offend him but the little smile on his face after he scoff makes her think otherwise.
“…Whatever.”
Oh? Is he… flustered? To think that the mysterious Hat Guy would give her such a nice response—she doesn’t know why but she feel proud of herself. She didn’t tried to get close to him, she just giggle while standing there.
“There’s nothing funny, doll.”
But again, Nilou smile while slowly walks away in steps, starting her dance again, while looking at him, “Your action speaks louder, it’s entertaining”.
Hat Guy only sigh, he didn’t give her anymore banter but he slowly watching her in silence. The graceful mood she create, beaming smile, making her looks so divine. Both now return to their silence activity, minding their own space and business.
And from that day, Wanderer feels that having a company once in a while is not a bad thing.
