Summary
I don't tend to write soulmate AU's, but I had the idea for this one and while I'm sure it's already been done somewhere in some fandom, I wanted to bring it to life.
Trigger warning there will be a lot of mentions of self harm, scarring, blood, wounds and depression, including other mental illnesses and I probably won't be holding back because I need a vent fic right now. So if this sounds too intense for you right now please come back another day, or check out some of my other, less intense stories!

In this world, soulmates are linked by one specific thing; scars.
Some would wake one day to find surgery scars on their body, others would have accidental scarring appear when someone had bumped into something or gotten into an accident. But some found themselves linked to people who took their own pain out on themselves. While it was rare, as people didn't want to upset the person they were pretty much destined to be with in most instances, some simply couldn't stop those thoughts a feelings.
This is the story of Tony Starks soulmate, and how they helped each other heal.
