"Let's get out of here," Ezekiel said, grabbing Cassandra's hand and dragging her away as fast as he could without drawing attention.
"What did you do?" she asked, obviously annoyed.
"Nothing tonight. But there may be an old enemy over there that will cause problems if he sees me."
She heaved a loud exasperated sigh.
"Of course," she said. "Why couldn't we have just one normal date night."
"You know as well as I do that it would have been magic if not this."
"I know, I know."
There was laughter in her voice as much as there was annoyance.
