The white, bright moon shined upon the darkness of night, stars shimmered upon the dark skies.
Little did they know..
That was probably the last beautiful thing their blue sapphire eyes will ever see.
They didn't bother locking their door, it was quiet and cold, everyone is probably asleep.
It was time.
They looked at the knife their shaky hands are holding.
They pointed it at their throat.
Before they could lunge the knife into their throat, they heard that familiar voice.
“What the hell are you doing?”
It was the Herrscher of Sentience.
“Senti..?”
She called out, quietly.
“Do not tell me you don't wanna live anymore and you thought everyone was asleep so picked this time to kill yourself.”
"Why are you even here..?”
“I was looking for something and I wanted to ask ya first but you should not do that, you know?”
“Look I know you're fucking sick of living and stuff, but old timer, come on. Get yourself together—”
“—You aren't doing this.”
Fu Hua opened their mouth to object but didn't manage to get words out.
They both had just finished an discussion.
“Sleep good I guess, old timer.”
“You too. Xìàoshī.”
The next morning, Fu Hua sat down next to Senti at breakfast, while Kiana and Mei whispered to each other.
“Why are they both suddenly close?”
“Probably an event? I don't know.”
Fu Hua greeted Senti with a warm smile while Senti had her same old cheeky grin on her face.
“So, shall we start eating our food before it gets cold?”
“Mhm, yeah yeah.”
