Tom..
It was weird that Alec started to find peace in Tom’s company, he was like a cold breeze of wind on a hot summer. He was intrigued by his backstory and somehow wanted to know him a lot more. Caring, Funny, Child-ish anything could describe Tom.
They weren't always the best of friends. Even enemies maybe, but they could still get along right? Well, that's one way you can put it. Alec gained back his confidence and thought about it for a while.
Even though they hadn't gotten along ever since season 1, it was still worth a shot.
Alec watched Tom near the fireplace where the merge had taken place. He was trying to cook.. fish? Well then again, this stupid campsite had limited supply so he knew the others would find ways to keep themselves full.
If Alec could gain Tom’s trust, friendship, or even something more. It could help fulfill the villain’s alliance and help him even more knowing Tom was one of the strongest compared to all of them.
“Tom.” Alec, self-assured said in the nicest way possible. He sat next to Tom on the huge tree log near the fireplace. “Uh, hello Alec,” Tom replied confused as he tried to not overcook or even burn the fish. “What do you have there?”
Tom chuckled. “Oh, this? Yeah, I got it from the lake a while ago!” It sounded like he was having fun and enjoying his time. At least someone didn’t talk to him with disgust on this stupid show. “It was so hard to get. I grabbed it with my bare hands! Bare hands!” Tom laughed out loud gesturing what had happened.
Alec smiled. It was neat, it was like talking to someone who was full of joy and energy. Even though he was just talking to him for the alliance, it was kind of nice to talk to someone who actually invested in what he also felt. “So what happened after?”
One smile iba na ang ibig sabihin. (One smile means something else)
The conversation went on longer. They were in the middle of the forest walking, talking, chatting, and being more and more invested in each other’s daily lives. Even though they were on opposite sides of the alliance, they enjoyed each other's company. Who would’ve thought?
“You’re nice to hang out with Tom.” Alec laughed looking at Tom. He didn’t notice how cute and.. handsome he looked. The black messy hair and his scars symbolize his strength, and his cute face could make anyone loosen up. Oh god, he was attractive.
“Awhh that's sweet. Coming from you too.” Tom asked soon after, “Hey, how’s it with your family at home? Don't you have a wife?”
Alec's mind shook. "I do, I don't keep in touch with her anymore." He said softly trying to keep cool. "Oh. I-" Suddenly, Alec interrupted Tom. "It's fine. Just ignore it." Alec missed his ex-wife and all but he wasn't the best of a husband. It was a relief to get it out of his head but he didn't like talking about it most of the time.
"It's getting pretty late. I think we should head back to camp.." Tom said looking up at the moonlight, the stars were beautiful. The scenery wasn't the best but it was comforting. "You're right."
Tom and Alec soon came back to the tent. The huge overcrowded one. There was only space for a few more people at the back, mostly fitting two sleeping bags. Riya and Grett were next to each other and so were Ashley, Jake, and Aiden. Yul and Ally were pretty much there too.
A few minutes later they were changed into their pj's. Tom and Alec had to sleep next to each other since it was too cramped now. But they didn't really mind, did they? Tom was lying down on his sleeping bed and stretched a little before closing his eyes. Alec soon joined.
They lay down together, not as close but because of the sleeping beds.
Alec couldn't sleep either. Since he was right next to Tom he just decided to look at him.
His tangled hair and him sleeping softly. God this man was adorable. No wonder Jake had fallen for him. Suddenly Tom moved forward a bit. Pressing against his sleeping bed and feeling Alec's arm. Alec was a bit shocked, but he didn't want to move. He felt reassured and comfortable.
Alec shut his eyes and started to fall asleep.
