Vacation in Spain

Summary:

Jude and Gavi help Jobe with his crush...

Notes:

(See the end of the work for notes.)

Work Text:

Players need to rest. After each season, most of them return to their homelands to enjoy precious time with family and friends. As a player who doesn't play in his country, Jude is no exception from the rule.

However, this summer was different.

His brother refused to step a foot out of Spain because it's time to fully explore Ibiza. At least, that was his excuse — but it sounded suspiciously like my omega doesn't want to leave Spain, and I'm not going anywhere without him when we finally have time for each other.

How sweet. That's why Jobe chose to visit his brother and spend his vacation in sunny Spain. It was also the perfect opportunity to finally meet and get to know Jude's omega.

Obviously he knew him, he saw him on TV and that one time. However, it didn't truly count because it was before Jude started dating him. Jobe has to admit that the one encounter left an indelible impression — not just on him, but on the entire Bellingham family. He recalls that day as if it were yesterday for several reasons.

First of all, it was his first live Clasico, and a particularly heated one at that. There were several intense moments, three in total, and for some inexplicable reason, both Jude and his future omega were at the center of each incident.

Oh my God, what a troublesome omega. Are you sure he's not an alpha?

It was their mom's reaction when Gavi pushed Jude for the umpteenth time that day. Poor woman was terrified for her son's life. It may sound dramatic, but her worried eyes and heart were blind to the undeniable spark in Jude's gaze and the even more suspicious smirk on his lips whenever he clashed with Gavi. Jobe had seen that look in movies, just before characters were about to—

Anyways.

But the actual event that etched that day in the family's memory, making it nearly impossible for Jude to convince their mother that Pablo was indeed a shy and gentle omega for a long time and becoming a legendary story likely to be passed down to future generations happened after the match.

Denise was gently caressing his eldest son's cheek, as if trying to wipe the fresh bruise off it, ignoring Jude's attempts of calming her down. Suddenly she got rudely interrupted by the troublesome omega — the same one responsible for that bruise, by the way.

Gavi came up to Jude and said, no, said sounds a little soft. So, he came up to Jude and declared, much better, in front of the whole family I bet you'll end up being the father of my children.

Jude Bellingham was so shocked and intrigued at the same time that he simply blurted out I have no objections.

Needless to say, Jobe didn't have a chance to speak with Gavi after that, as he was too busy picking his jaw up from the floor. And needless to say, that day he found his idol — a role model, if you will — because that was the type of omega he aspired to be: passionate and fearless. Just don't tell their mother.

Especially since on that fateful day, he also met an alpha he wanted to demonstrate that passion to.

Probably the third, final and most important reason why he can never erase that day from his memory.

Unfortunately, wanting and being are not the same thing.

Jobe needed a sensei.

The alpha he really, really, really liked was Gavi's teammate, or as Gavi lovingly refers to him, one of his many non-blood-related "hermanitos."

The alliance was inevitable.

So now, seated in the dining room of Jude's apartment with Pablo Gavi, Jobe's determined to absorb any advice that may help him capture the attention of his dream boy until his brother enters the room.

No matter how close they are or how sassy Jobe can be, he still remains a timid omega who's embarrassed to discuss his love life based on pure delusions with his brother.

"Alright, that's it for today." Just as hr attempts to leave, Pablo grabs his wrist, insisting he sits down again.

"He knows you have a crush on Hector," Pablo says calmly, sipping his lemonade.

"Oh, yeah—" Jude says casually, sitting down at the table, as if they're discussing the weather or a football match, "—I know you have a crush on that Fort guy." No, actually he shows far more emotions during football discussions.

Awesome.

Jobe is ready to delete his existence right now. To die ingloriously, unable to withstand the level of cringe, the blood pressure that has dropped, reaching to unexplored lows and the feeling of betrayal from Pablo.

"Don't look at me like that," the traitor has an audacity to say, "it's physically impossible for me to hide anything from him."

"A-and you're fine with it? No you're too young or he looks like a playboy?" Jobe risks to ask, looking at Jude sheepishly.

"Of course, he's fine with it, right baby?" Pablo answers instead with a sweet smile, too sweet, almost threatening.

"Of course, I'm fine with it," Jude repeats like a parrot. Suspicious. "There's no way your shy ass can make a move, so yeah, I'm fine with it," he adds after a brief pause.

Of fucking course.

Thankfully, he gets a glare from Pablo and shuts his annoying mouth immediately, giving Jobe an opportunity to mock him back.

"And you, I see, have become quite easy to shut up."

"Yeah, and I see no problem with it," Jude replies, his voice and face as calm as possible. "I'll do whatever my baby wants."

Jobe is disgusted. "But what about the famous alpha pride?"

"I'm a henpecked."

"And the desire to dominate anything that moves?" Jobe presses on, tilting his head.

"I'm a whipped man who's got domesticated."

"No predator instinct at all?" Jobe doesn't give up.

"I'm a herbivore." As a sign of confirmation shoves a leaf of lettuce into his mouth.

"Ok, that's enough," Pablo interrupts the back-and-forth bickering of the siblings. "Both of you are useless; I'll come up with a plan by myself."

Has Jobe already mentioned how much he admires Pablo? Yes? Well, it's still not enough. The short omega is the type to get everything he wants. And by everything, he means everything.

He wanted to play for Barca — he plays for Barca; he wanted to earn respect in a field dominated by alphas — their entire fandom, team and staff want him, an omega, to be the team's future captain; he wanted Jude — he got Jude; wanted Denise's affection after a catastrophic first impression — oh, now she adores him, of course she does, impossible not to after you get to know him.

And Jobe admires this absolute superpower of getting whatever he wants as much as he's terified of it now because:

"La Liga is organizing a party before the season starts, and I want you to come with Hector."

"Look, some wishes just can't come true even if those are your wishes."

Right now they're standing in front of freshly rebuilt Camp Nou, ready to open its gates for the new season. Jobe didn't want to leave Spain without seeing the legendary stadium, even if it's not the same from his childhood memories.

From the outside, it already looks so appealing and beautiful and—

"Of course they can," Pablo says confidently, nudging Jude with an elbow and gets a whipped of course they can! in response.

"Blink if you're being held hostage," Jobe says to his brother, unimpressed. "Be honest, Pablo; who is this and what have you done with Jude?" He turns to Pablo after Jude sets a new record for not blinking, if there was any.

"Not for your innocent, young ears."

"You're only a year older than me."

Pablo rolls his eyes, opening his mouth to say something, but then looks right behind Jobe, and his pretty face suddenly breaks into a certain kind of smile. The kind that cartoon villains wear... or annoying people when they spot their best friend's crush.

"Hey, Hector! Come here!"

Jobe freezes. He forces himself to turn around and face the alpha approaching them. Jobe can swear to God he walked to humans' world straight out of wattpad — his dark brown curls, sharp cheekbones, beautiful lips and, oh Lord, those tattoos — he should've considered becoming a model.

"Hey!" Even his smile is lethal. "Can't stay away from Camp Nou, Gavira? Thought you're on vacation," he says to Pablo. "You even brought poor Jude and—" he looks at Jobe, recognizing the resemblance between the two brothers. "—and his brother."

Hector's smile softens. "Hey, I'm Hector."

"I-I'm Jobe."

He's sure he's turned blue from ebarrassment. Jude's rolling eyes and Gavi's stern face are further proof of that, but right now his blood pressure is jumping back and forth, and it's hard to do anything to fix it.

"I know, you're famous actually," Hector replies, awkwardly smiling and rubbing the back of his neck.

"Listen, Hector," starts Gavi, apparently unable to handle the huge dose of awkwardness any longer, "you seem to like our guest." After getting a nod in response, he continues, successfully ignoring Jobe's begging gaze. "Jobe's coming to the party as a special guest and unfortunately, he knows no one but us but, you know, we can't be around him all the time."

Hector nods again, as if understanding the flow of Gavi's thoughts.

"And you want me to look after him?"

"Smart boy. Will you?"

"Of course I will," he says immediately, but then looks at the youngest omega with a shy smile. "I-if you want me to, obviously."

"S-sounds fine for me."

"Of course sounds fine and great and amazing," Pablo chimes in cheerfully, clapping them on the back a little too hard. "Now, Hector, my favorite hermanito, show our special guest the best stadium in the world. We'll join you later."

"I thought your favorite is Pau."

"Why are you still here?!"

"You're an actual devil," finally Jude says, watching two boys' figures disappearing into the building, still in shock over the turn of events.

They've suffered an entire month, trying to find ways to bring the two young hearts together, only for Pablo to do it in two minutes.

"Hey, but he's a good lad, right? I only agreed because you vouched for him," he continues a bit worried.

"He is. He may look like a walking wattpad fuckboy, or a young criminal, but hey, I also look like an innocent, vulnerable omega. You can't judge a book by its cover."

"Innocent and vulnerable, huh?" Jude smirks, wrapping his arms around Pablo's waist and pulling him closer. "You sure don't look innocent when you're bouncing on my dick, baby," he whispers into Pablo's ear, leaning down a little more to leave a lingering kiss on his neck.

Jobe is furious. How could they?

Leaving him alone with practically a complete stranger. Okay, yeah, not a complete stranger; Pablo knows him, after all. But still, what were they thinking?

Even though he's grateful for the chance to be alone with the boy of his dreams, who has promised him ice cream and a stroll in the most beautiful park in Barcelona, Jobe still feels compelled to express his irritation towards his self-proclaimed babysitters. The audacity of not picking up the phone immediately only heightens his annoyance until—

"Y-yeahh?"

Why does Pablo sound out of breath?

"Pablo? You okay?"

Great, now Jobe's worrying. What if something has happened that forced them to leave so abruptly without warning?

"M-mhm," the omega on the other side of the phone gasps, then hisses as queitly as possible 'stop moving, ahh,' confusing the younger omega even more.

"Then why do you sound so...weird and breathless? Is Jude with you?"

He doesn't notice the side eye from Hector, barely holding back his laugh.

"Mhm, yeaah." Jobe can clearly hear Pablo's muffled whimper before he continues, "we're inngh the gym."

In the gym, right. That explains those weird sounds Pablo keeps making, but it doesn't explain how on earth going to a gym was more important than him.

"You could've at least warned me before leaving."

"Oh God, s-sorry— fuhck..."

"You don't sound very sorry. And for God's sake, stop exercising while talking! You sound like you're fuc—" he pauses because Hector fails his try not to laugh challenge miserably, and Jobe finally understands.

"OH MY GOD. YOU ACTUALLY ARE. I—"

"I'll never be able to look into your brother's eyes ever again because his shameless brother doesn't know how to stop."

"Not my fault you looked 10 times more fuckable while trying to hold back your pretty moans."

Notes:

Ok, apologies for the random pairing but I needed someone from Barca boys and well everyone likes Fort so...
