Chapter Text

There are NOT ENOUGH!!! Hades Descendants books out there, so I'm going to start a one-shot book for him and only him; feel free to think of some plot ideas and I will try and make it for you. Requests will be slow since I have other ones to finish but I hope that I can make some good stories for the GOD OF THE UNDERWORLD.

The Chaos happened without a warning; the large screen showed Mal in her dragon form trying to fight off the villain who tried to escape the isle, everyone started to panic thinking the worst, but [Y/n] stood there shocked as she watched for a few seconds more before breaking out into a sprit. The sound of his name caught him off guard as he turned his attention to [y/n], seeing her standing there he lost focus which caused Mal to gain the upper hand and roar a strong wind that caused Hades to become unbalanced; tripping back the barrier closed once more as Hades slowly stood up a bit out of breath while Mal returned to her human form feeling weak from the embers power.

"[Y/n] come on; we need to go" Carlos called out to his friend knowing they needed to leave to go back, but [y/n] made no move to follow them.

"[Y/n?" Jay called out confused when everyone turned their attention to her.

[Y/n]'s [e/c] eyes never broke away from those burning blue eyes that stared back at her, she ignored her name being called as she slowly walked closer to the barrier seeing how Hades followed her movements letting them only be inches from each other; close but never touching. It ached her heart having this barrier between them, looking into Hades eyes he felt the same way but could hide it better then [y/n] who could feel the water in her eye build.

"[Y/N]! Let's go" Carlos called out again which she wanted to ignore and just stay here no matter how long.

"It's okay go, I'll get out of here soon" Hades winked at her which made her smile with a small chuckle.

As she slowly backed away from the barrier like he did, [y/n] mouthed 'love you' to him; Hades gave her another wink with a rockstar signal with his hand [y/n] could help but smile and chuckle when he did his usual sticking his tongue out like the bad boy [y/n] loved so much. "What was that about?" Evie couldn't help but ask when she looked over at [y/n] who looked away from the window she was staring out of, seeing that some were looking at her.

"Nothing" was all she said looking back out the window wishing them to accept her answer.

"Oh, come on you came out of nowhere and somehow knew who Hades was and had some sort o-" Evie pried like always ranting on trying to get [y/n] to spill something that could leave a clue, but it only made [y/n] snap in frustration.

"I said it was NOTHING!! For once stop prying into people's lives that have nothing to do with you" [y/n] finally snapped cutting off what Evie was about to say next.

Evie backed off having [y/n] turn to the window once more biting the inside of her cheek as a silent tear fell from her eye as her heart ached again, her right fingers played with a necklace around her neck that simmered warming against her skin; it was made out of the same ember Hades used moments ago, it was the only way for him to be with her outside and for them to even communicate in some way each day and it was enough for her to know that he loved her in his own way and she didn't need him to tell her or say it actions spoke louder than words ever did.

[Y/n] sighed gently as she stepped out of the shower, wrapping the towel around herself as she stepped out to her bedroom the moon outside was beautiful tonight; a nice house for two is what she originally bought this house for but that changed when the barrier was up; so, she was living only for a while sometimes helping at the school as a teacher. But after everything that happened, she learned the barrier was finally taken down for the others who may have done terrible things but were given a second chance; she remembered how everyone rejoiced with singing and dancing. But the best part was what she had been waiting for, for years, seeing Hades after all this time made her heartbeat again.

But she stayed back in the crowd watching Hades with his daughter Mal which warmed her heart, now she assumes he was spending time at the large party Ben and Mal held for the new world; [Y/n] didn't bother to go since she didn't like big crowds that much even though she wished to see and talk to Hades; she was making sure she wasn't barging in between him and his daughter who granted wasn't there in her life but he was making up for it now which she found warming. Taking another sigh, she gulped down some gin before slipping out of her towel and grabbing her silk purple nightgown for the night, drying her hair a bit more before grabbing a book and slipping into the covers, putting on her reading glasses she started off where she was last.

It was around midnight when her front door was opened, Hades peaked in seeing the entrance was dark, closing the door as silently as he could he took of his boots in order not to make too much sound when moving the through the house. He couldn't help but pause when looking around the house; the house [Y/n] bought for them both before he was sent off to the isle, it was just like she said it was. Resembling both of them in every part of the house, Hades chuckled when spotting an old picture of him with [Y/n] when they were about twenty; back then [Y/n] was his only friend while he had an on and off relationship with Maleficent, he realized a little late when he knew he loved [y/n] and not her. Hades glanced up at the stairs taking the steps two at a time getting to the top seeing a light underneath a door, he had to take in slow deep breaths as he walked towards her door; it had been so long since he touched her skin, smelled her scent of pumpkin spice and coffee it make his skin tingle by the mere thought of kissing her again as he slowly opened the door.

"Well, I'm glad you're here need anything to eat? I'm sure the food here is better" [y/n] spoke as she stood up from the bed to stand in front of him allowing him to pull her in close to him again.

"Nah had enough of that at the party the kids threw, but I am however going to borrow the shower" he said with a shake of his head already having his fill at the party before looking at her before giving her a peak on the lips making her giggle.

"Maybe your clothes will walk to the laundry room while you're in there" [y/n] joked as Hades walked into the bathroom already throwing his clothes out of the door which made her giggle.

"Okay, I'll think about it" she said with a warm small smile but at least it was a smile that made her mother smile and bring her back into a warm hug not saying anything more as she held her little girls in her arms, soothing her.

It was finally time for prom; the evening by the enchanted lake was filling up with students dressed like princesses and prince's tonight, it was like a fairytale from a book; everyone was wearing a smile on their faces as they mingled. The food was out like a wedding for millions of guests plus a chocolate fountain with small treats, the drinks were some fruitpunch, water, lemonade or soda. The dance floor was out on the water on the lake; the magic holding strongly on the glass floor as people danced to their hearts content, the lights were beautiful with the smallest of sparkles filling the sky, the flowers in full blood giving off a wonderful scent with the gentle breeze, the band played much music to fast beating music to soft slow dancing music, it was a fairytale for sure.

Hades eyes cast over the crowd of students enjoying their night of fun, the teachers staying in their own group keeping an eye on students; but his eyes tried to find one person and one person only. So far, he didn't see [y/n] anywhere in the crowd not even near her two friends with their dates by the snack table.

"Lookin' for someone?" the voice of Hook broke Hades gaze from the crowd to glance at him who leaned against the tree they found themselves at.

"There's my girl" Hades called out ignoring Hook's question when Maleficent made herself know as she strutted over towards Hades, wearing a black dress with feathers.

"Snuck in some booze to spike the punch tonight, maybe it'll not be boring" Maleficent smirked when showing the boys a glimpse of the booze she snuck in under all those feathers.

Hades smirked with a chuckle as he wrapped his arm over her shoulder pulling her close, ignoring Hook silently cheering for some booze at the party; but the crowd turning their heads caught his attention. His heart seemed to stop, and his breath got caught in his throat when the sight of [Y/n] finally came to his sights. Seeing her in the dark blue dress and how it framed her body perfectly, the diamonds glittered in the lights as she stood there, white silk gloves covered her hands up to her elbows, simple makeup on her face with small diamonds earrings, her hair puffed a bit curling in the back of the pinned-up ponytail before swinging over her left shoulder with some glitter in her hair.

"Damn, if I knew she looked like that I would have asked her myself" Hook whistled as he watched [y/n] walk down the dirt path in her silver shoes walking up to her friends with a bright smile when hugging them both together.

"Shut up Hook" Hades growled at Hook who raised a brow at him wondering where this passiveness just came from.

"We thought you weren't coming?" Milly asked when they broke up the hug gasping at how [y/n] looked tonight in her dress.

"Well, my mom gave me a pep talk" she shrugged with a small giggle loving how she looked in the dress and how everyone turned in her direction like a ballroom scene from a movie.

"Good thing she did, look at you oh my god you are the diamond of the century" Hannah spoke up making [y/n] spin around to show off the dress her mother bought her for tonight, it only made her blush a little bit.

If looks could kill, then most of the boys who didn't have dates that dance with [y/n] would be dead and gone from how hard Hades was glaring at them; occasionally growling under his breath when seeing how they were sometimes getting to handsy with her. But it tugged at his heart when he saw her smiling and laughing like she used to when they were together, he didn't know why he ended things between them the only thing he could come up with was he was an idiot for doing so when he knew [y/n] knew him in and out, knew what he liked and didn't like and gave him space when he needed it and when he needed someone there for him, Maleficent was the opposite always there and always getting in the way when he needed him time and it annoyed him but it was a drunk choice asking her to be his girlfriend when he went out drinking to forget what he did to [y/n] that day.

"Why are they dancing with her? Didn't she try to get between Hades and Maleficent?" a girl's question caught his attention making him stop in his tracks.

"Those are rumors, don't believe everything you hear Cindy" Jasmine spoke to Cinderella who had a confused look on her face now.

"But Maleficent said so" she tried arguing again which only made Jasmine sigh heavily and roll her eyes as how innocent clueless she was being right now.

"All I can say is, I tried I really did" Hades sighed again knowing he tried but he felt like he failed Mal.

"And that all I could have ask you to do, and Mal would say the same thing" [y/n] said as she placed a hand against his cheek, Hades held her hand there leaning into her touch before kissing her palm.

But the sound of rumbling broke the small soft mood having some pebbles fall from the cave roof as they stood up together; [y/n] knew it could be Mal and the others arriving. She let Hades rush to the front of the cave while she stayed behind with Ben, she gave off a sigh before turning her attention to Ben.

"Need anything to drink?" she offered knowing that he journeyed here to help Mal out with the situation and plus she wouldn't be a good host if she didn't offer anything.

"Oh, thank you but I'm fine" Ben smiled warmly as they sat and waited for them to return back inside to talk about what happened.

They waited for a few moments before hearing footsteps coming closer, seeing Hades guiding the others back to the sitting room; [Y/n] smiled as she stood up standing next to Hades as Mal greeted Ben with a hug.

"What are you doing here?" Mal asked Ben with confusion since she thought he'd be back at the castle.

"Getting this guy back to the ceremony, even if I have to drag him back by his freaky blue hair" Ben said to her walking closer to Hades giving a joke as he places an arm on Hades' shoulder, only for Hades to glare at him which made [y/n] chuckle. "Or appeal to him with logic and reason, I knew you would want him to be there no matter what he did" Ben backed away catching the hint from Hades' glare as he stood in front of Mal knowing this meant a lot to her, Hades looked down at the ground losing the glare as [y/n] placed her head on his shoulder knowing how he was feeling. That's when a little snarling sound caught their attention coming from Ben's pocket. "Oh, I caught you mom" Ben almost forgot as he reached into his pocket dragging a small lizard dragon with a black hat and purple bow out of his pocket holding her up.

"That's her alright, I'd recognize those cold dead eyes anywhere" Hades leaned down to get a better look at her as she growled before sticking her tongue out at him which only made him chuckle. "Looking good Maleficent" he joked which made [y/n] chuckle seeing how she changed.

"Dad please come back, you know how much it means to me to have you there" Mal grabbed Hades' hand wanting him there on her big day.

"And I wanted to be there believe me, but I still terrify people. I can't help it especially when I lose control; you should have seen-" Hades wants to be there for Mal but after what happened he knew things wouldn't change as he remembered what happened.

"Babe, focus please" [y/n] spoke up when he didn't explain the whole things in detail for them.

"Alright look, in my heart I'm still a ruthless villain but I'm not ruthless enough to ruin the happiest day of your life, I'm sorry" Hades turned to Mal taking her hands in his before turning away from her as he crossed his arms.

"You don't have to be, I know it wasn't your fault" Mal said as she stood by her dad knowing nothing was his fault.

"Hm, it really wasn't" Hades couldn't help but smirk a little knowing it was as he thought back to what happened when [y/n] left to speak to Mal leaving him alone with the other guests. "I'm not a fool, I know everyone expects the worst of me; but I didn't want to ruin your day so, I did my best to be friendly. To keep cool, until. I thought if I helped it would ease the tension, I tried to put it out I really tried" Hades explained his side of the story on how things went being bit by Dude the dog only made things worse when things caught on fire, and everyone started to panic. "Okay, full discloser Chad wasn't on fire, but I just...couldn't resist because he is the worst, so that ones on me" Hades continued the story since he did do something, but it was understandable.

"I would have done the same" [y/n] said while Mal nods her head in agreement.

"I know, I know I ruined everything; but I swear it wasn't on purpose" Hades looked to the ground with a sad look worried that Mal would be slightly mad at him.

"Dad, I know you didn't do it on purpose it's not going to be my special day if you're not there, I want to be surrounded by the people I love and that means you" Mal made Hades look at her showing a warm smile which made Hades give a warm smile to her. "And I love you mom, whether you have skin or scales or you fit in my pocket; you breath fire. You'll always be my mom" Mal turned her attention to Maleficent picking her up in her hands, she gave off a warm purr of some kind. Mal gently hugged her mother as Hades wrapped his arms around them both with a warm smile on their faces, [Y/n] smiled warmly at them; but surprised when Hades held out a hand to her making her look at him.

"Come on, your apart of this crazy family too" Hades joked as Mal chuckled herself agreeing with her dad.

[Y/n] smiled brightly with happy tears building as she took Hades' hand having him pull her into the group hug, her heart warmed as she hugged Mal and Hades even Maleficent too. That's when a puff of pink smoke surprised everyone, seeing Fairy Godmother with Belle and Beast arriving with her happy that Mal and Ben were alright.

"We were worried about you both" Belle spoke as Mal and Ben rushed over to them greeting them with hugs.

"Okay, yes very emotional loving it, but tick tock people" Audrey piped up knowing they were on a time.

"Chop, chop let's hustle people; bippity bop-" "Hold on" Fairy Godmother spoke up waving her wand around but Ben stopped her for a moment confusing people.

"You want to be married surrounded by the people you love, so do I and here they are Hades, [Y/n] we love you. And I want you both to feel welcomed, and Mal, I want you to enjoy every moment of today so what do you say will you marry me here?" Ben spoke up knowing that family was the most important along with close friends.

"Yes, that would be perfect" Mal smiled knowing that would be amazing and the best wedding ever.

Audrey was worried and socked after listing half the things she put into the wedding, Evie was worried about the dress she worked so hard on. [Y/n] couldn't help but chuckle before she snapped her fingers together using her magic to change outfits for Mal, Evie and Jay for the occasion she looked beautiful in the dress. Before she and Fairy Godmother teamed up with their magic to transport everyone to a beautiful spot in the forest with a lake side view, a perfect spot to get married.

"How about some VK decor?" [y/n] looked at Mal giving a warm teasing smirk making Mal smile.

"You read my mind" Mal smiled making them both chuckle together knowing this will be the best wedding of the two worlds will see.

Chapter Text

Everyone started pitching in to set up the decor for the wedding, making sure this would be the best wedding for Mal and Ben and thanks to help with some of the fancy decorations.

"You don't know you've been looking 'til you find it Don't know what you've been missing 'til it's there It's stronger than a spell, it's magic in itself It's an ever after like you've never felt. It's the sum of the times of your life It's the person you're standing beside and it's the pride that you're feeling inside for who you are, you've come so far!!!" Mal started to sing as everyone worked hard to set everything up, the altar looking perfect as Jay and Audrey set up the flowers as Hades and Ben rolled out the red carpet towards the alter. Evie and Audrey spread some petals around creating a lovely display while [y/n] used her magic to create flower lights hanging on the low branches over the alter. "I'm feeling the la-la-love La-la-love You make me feel alive" "True love you can't deny I'm feeling that dream come true
Here with you and love is around us too Ooh, and I feel the love (I'm feeling the) (Ooh, make you feel alive)" [Y/n] joined in on the song placing Mal's veil on her head giving her a side hug with a big smile on her face as the place started turning out to be a beautiful set up.

"The journey might not always be that easy, Twist and turns can take you anywhere Together or apart, you gotta trust your heart 'cause The power of true love will get you there, Yeah, it's the sum of the times of your life (Your life) And it's the person you're standing beside (Oh) Yeah, it's the pride that you're feeling inside (Yeah) From where you are And it's just the start!!" Hades soon joined in as Mal still sung, she joined her father's side smiling as he offered her his arm that she took; Hades walked Mal down the ally along with Maleficent who sat on his shoulder with a warm smile on her face as Hades gave Mal away to Ben who took her hand in his, while Hades return to [y/n] side wrapping an arm around her waist.

I promise to always be there for you, to accept everything that you are and to always put you first" Ben started as he and Mal held hands together, placing his ring on her finger as he spoke from the heart to her. 

"With this ring, I pledge to you all the days of my life; all of my burdens and all of my joys. I promise to be my best for you to share all my secrets, and to keep yours and to choose good always" Mal spoke her vows as she placed the ring on Ben's finger, [y/n] was trying not to cry like Audrey and Evie were a little bit as she placed her head against Hades' shoulder as he held her close with a warm smile.

"Do you Ben take Mal to be your wife? To love and cherish forever?" Fairy Godmother asked as she looked between them both with a warm smile. 

"I do" Ben answered as he looked at Mal with so much love.

"Do you Mal take Ben to be your husband? To love and cherish forever?" she asked the same question to Mal having her voice break a bit while asking.

"I do" she answered feeling so much love as she looked at Ben.

"By the power vested in me I pronounce you, husband and wife" she announced with a smile, casting a spell as Ben and Mal shared a kiss to transport everyone back to the castle arriving in front of the guests who clapped their hands in a cheer seeing the couple.

that's when the music picked up once again as everyone on the dance floor started dancing as the floor with magic started floating up into the stary sky having everyone enjoy the night of the wedding party.

"For good and for better I found my forever I can't wait to know where our story goes This moment, this feeling is one you can't measure I'm feelin' it I'm feelin' it Are you feeling it!! Everyone danced to the song enjoying themselves, Hades spun [y/n] around with a smile as she smiles and giggled; he gently dipped her and brought her back up before picking her up and spinning around having them both chuckle when he placed her back on the ground and giving her a kiss on the lips that she returned. This day might have started bumpy, but it smoothed out for everyone who helped out.

When everyone was back in the building enjoying the music, food and drinks; the time came when Mal would throw the flowers for the next bride, [y/n] chuckled as Evie dragged her away from Hades who chuckled looking over at Mal who gave him a wink before turning around ready to throw it; she did the motion about to throw it making everyone ready to catch it. But Mal surprised them when she turned around still holding the flowers and walking right up to [y/n] who looked confused when she was handed the floor, she was about to ask but Mal turned [y/n] around making her gasp seeing Hades down on one knee holding the open box ring in his hands with a warm smile.

"What do you say? Want to make it official, babe?" Hades asked as everyone was awing at the sight waiting for her answer.

"Yes" she shouted for everyone in the room to her, Hades chuckled as he stood having everyone cheering as he slipped the ring on her finger having her wrap her arms around his neck as he wrapped his arms around her holding her close to him, giving her a kiss on top of her head feeling relieved she said yes knowing there was a new chapter for them now and he will gladly be a part of that chapter with her.

Chapter Text

Everything calmed down as parents said goodbye to their children and headed back to their own homes, it was around evening when Hades found Mal talking to her friends about something; turning her attention to Hades she was worried when seeing the concerned look on his face.

"Something wrong, dad?" she asked worried if something happened anywhere that she didn't know about.

"We need to talk about something, only you" he sighed before glancing at her friends making sure they knew that Mal was the only one needed for this.

Hades turned away from her, knowing she would be following him close behind him; Hades was nervous wondering how she would take the news he was going to break to her. Since Mal never grew up in his time growing up in the Greek world; she didn't know how the family worked out firsthand plus never met anyone from his side of the family only meeting [y/n] the only person he trusted and loved. They entered a room meeting [y/n] inside with Hadie who was just as confused as Mal who closed the door behind them wondering what this was about.

"what's this about?" Mal asked worried that something might have happened.

"Mom?" Hadie asked [y/n] who looked nervous as she glanced over at Hades who looked over at her before glancing at the two in front of them.

"Not easy to explain this but, Hadie; Hades is your actual father and makes Mal your half-sister" [y/n] sighed heavily as she stared at her son dead in the eye before glancing at Hades and looking at Mal seeing how her eyes widened in shock.

"What?" both Mal and Hadie said at the same time which made [y/n] nervous to no end but calmed down a little bit when Hades placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Mal, I know this is a shock, but we thought telling you both now would be better than waiting" Hades spoke up seeing how Mal was still shocked with her mouth slightly opened trying to wrap her hands together.

"I-I have no words" Mal said as she paced around trying to wrap her head around this news that she was just told, Hadie sat back down in the chair a little surprised but not shock. "Hadie a little help here" Mal asked Hadie wondering if he had any words for this situation.

"Actually, I'm not as surprised as you" Hadie shrugged not fully shocked like Mal was who looked at him like he was crazy right now. "To me this is normal" Hadie said again explaining a little bit as he stood up from where he sat, [y/n] was relieved that he was at least taking it well.

"I need some air" Mal said needing to take a step out of the room, opening the door needed to get out of there right now.

Hades sighed heavily wondering what his own daughter was thinking about him right now, [y/n] placed a comforting hand on his shoulder knowing how he was feeling right now.

"Let me try to talk to her" she offered hoping she is able to talk to Mal and help her understand a little bit.

Hades nods his head agreement letting [y/n] walk out of the room to find Mal, [y/n] was nervous as she looked down the halls a couple of times until she found Mal's room giving the door a gentle knock hearing a 'com in' come from the other side allowed her to open the door and find Mal sitting on the edge of her bed looking confused. [Y/n] said nothing as she closed the door and sat next to her staying silent for a while before speaking.

"I know this is a shock, but Hades was the only person I had growing up and I was the only one he had" [y/n] began to explain still remembering how growing up was back home, she was grateful Mal was listening to her. "Your grandparents aren't the loveliest people, they had favorites and expected more from others, our father hit Hades because he took on my mistakes as his so that I wouldn't be beaten. The love that just grew over time was out of loyalty and trust between us and it was only true love we have ever known" [y/n] continued as she played with her hands as she held back tears from the memories when she reached days in school. "We made sure no one found out but, back in school someone saw us and told it to the whole school; we both would have been expelled but I convinced the headmaster that it was my fault, and I was only expelled. It was also when I learned I was pregnant with Hadie, but please all I ask is for you to not look at your father in differently and please try and give Hadie a friend if not a sister that's all I ask" [y/n] sighed when remembering the day everyone teased her back in school and how life was back then, but she placed a gentle hand on top of Mal's hands just asking that she wouldn't think any different about Hades and at least make a friend out of Hadie.

"It'll take me a while to get used to it" was all Mal said when looking up at [y/n] with a gentle smile understanding better.

"That's all I can ask for" she said with a warm smile on her face.

They both stood up together walking out of the room into the halls finding Hades and Hadie talking about a few things; seeing them get along so fast made [y/n]'s heart warm up at the sight and her smile grew, Hadie turned his attention seeing the girls walking up to them Hades looked worried what Mal would say to him but was surprised when Mal gave him a hug that he returned with a rare smile.

"Thanks for telling us" Mal said when they backed away from the hug as she glanced back at [y/n] standing by Hadie who nods in agreement.

"You at least took it better than what I imagined" Hades shrugged happy that she was only shocked then what he thought she'd do.

"How did you imagine it?" Mal couldn't help but ask raising a brow.

"Screaming at me" Hades answered bluntly which made [y/n] laugh while Hadie and Mal shook their heads with a smile.

"Let's meet everyone for dinner, at least I can catch up with my brother" Mal said offering dinner as she looked at Hadie who agrees as they started walking down the hall already talking about something as [y/n] and Hades watched them for a moment.

"You have a place to stay?" Hades asked as he placed an arm around her waist.

"You offering?" she teased back with a smirk making him chuckle as they followed Mal and Hadie.

"Yes" he said with that bad boy smirk on his face which made [y/n] blush and smile with a small giggle.

"I'll gladly stay with you" she said placing her head against his shoulder when he gave her a kiss on top of her head feeling complete with her beside him and glad that things turned out better than what they were both thinking.

"This is the best one I have ever made, next to Mal's dress of course" Evie squealed as she touched up a couple of placed on [y/n]'s wedding dress that she stood in, Mal placed the veil on her head attaching it to a small pearl crown, her hair was held up in a bun with one long bang lose on her left. The dress was beautiful, see through silk settled on her shoulders as the top had the illusion of a strapless V line outlined by blue swirls, before it slowly went down her body puffing out at the start of her hips a bit hitting the floor and flaring out behind her; again, blue outlined the dress like flames at the bottom.

"Thank you for making this its perfect" [y/n] smiled warmly as she looked at her in the body length mirror blushing a bit as her heart thumped against her chest knowing this day was finally here after a couple of months planning it.

"Dad is going to be speechless when seeing you" Mal said as she stood beside [y/n] smiling brightly seeing her new stepmother in the mirror it only made her blush again with a chuckle.

The sound of the bell outside caught their attention telling them it was getting close to the time of the wedding, [y/n] took in a breath and letting it out feeling her nerves shoot through her body with excitement. Evie handed her the flowers some blue and purple with white flower having them sparkling in the light while some glowed; she held her dress up a bit as she walked out of the door with Evie and Mal following her, the wedding was being held in a spot where Hades and [y/n] first met when the school was Merlin Academy. The spot was a gazebo looking over the black lagoon, the sky was clear as everyone waited by the alter; Hades stood there waiting feeling nervous as he kept fidgeting with his blue tie. That's when the music started to play having everyone turned their attention smiling when seeing Mal and Ben first coming down followed by Jay and Evie, Jane carried the rings before the trumpets went off having everyone stand together as the sight of the bride came to everyone's sight. Hades' breath was caught in his throat as he saw how beautiful she was in the wedding dress; she blushed as she met his eyes seeing the awe look on his face. Coming down the red carpet as everyone looked with love eyes and some held back tears of joy while [y/n] walked down the ally, Hades showed a rare warm smile as [y/n] got closer to him; he reached out to her letting her take his hand as he guided her to stand in front of him; [y/n] gave Mal the flowers to hold as she took both of Hades' hands in hers. The guest sat down as Fairy Godmother smiled warmly at the two in front of her as she began.

"We are here to unite Hades lord of the underworld and princess [Y/n] of Camelot Heights, let your vows be spoke with the bond of these rings" Fairy Godmother spoke for all to hear with a warm smile on her face as she saw the love between Hades and [y/n].

Jane stood in front of Hades and [y/n] holding the rings out for them to take before she returned to her spot in the wedding standing behind Evie smiling brightly; Hades held up [y/n] left hand smiling warmly at her.

"With this ring, I promise to cherish you forever; to protect you and to protect those who will follow, to give you a life I promised you at this very spot where we stand now and to be the man you always saw in me" Hades slipped the ring on her finger, never looking away from her eyes as she smiled warmly at his words.

"With this ring, I promise to stand by your side; to follow and to put you first, to be a good wife. To be the light to guide you through the darkest hours, to be the woman that you always saw in me even when I couldn't see it myself" [y/n] place the ring on Hades' finger never looking away from his blue eyes as she tried to hold back happy tears as she spoke to him.

"Do you Hades take [Y/n] to be your wife to love and cherish forever?" Fairy Godmother asked as she tried holding back her own tears of joy as she looked up at Hades.

"I do" Hades spoke warmly knowing this will be the start of their new chapter together.

"And do you [y/n], take Hades to be your husband to love and cherish forever?" Fairy Godmother asked her the same question seeing how her smile grew with love.

"I do" she said feeling her heart flutter with excitement finally being able to say those words to Hades.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife" Fairy Godmother said to them both.

Hades wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her close as she yelps with a giggle when he dipped her placing his lips on hers as she wrapped her arms around his neck, having the crowd stand and clap with whistles and cheers for them, Mal cheered the loudest happy her father found his happy ending with [y/n]. Hades brought her back up as she smiled brightly just as much as he was.

The reception for the wedding was beautiful as people danced to the music, with food and drinks to enjoy. Hades and [y/n] had their first dance as husband-and-wife dancing to the first song they dance together when they were teenagers, it was amazing how things worked out for them ever since the barrier was brought down; a princess coming to an unknown world meeting the bad boy Hades in school with a silly crush to start with until graduation to the princess who ran from her kingdom finding a life on the isle and soon meeting the god of the underworld once again after so long, she never used to believe soulmates were real but ever since meeting Hades her thoughts on the matter. As the party continued Hades and [y/n] stepped out on the balcony to enjoy the coolness of the night, Hades wrapped his arms around [y/n] as he stood behind her resting his chin on top of her head as she leaned back against his chest.

"Ready for our next chapter?" he asked with a tease behind his smirk making her giggle.

"More than ready" she said back as she glanced up at him as he glanced down at her, Hades leaned down to place his lips on top of hers as she returned the kiss knowing their next chapter will be an adventure for sure.

[Y/n] and Hades have been married for two years now; their lives have changed since the barrier was brought down by Mal and her friends and everyone was brought together for a second chance. Mal had [y/n] as her secretary to help with royal duties and things around the school, [y/n] was very good at her job, and it gave them a chance to spend time together. Hades actually gathered some old friends together and made a band playing rock or metal songs on the isle or on the mainland making a name for himself in music, it was a good life, and it was only going to get better. About three months ago, [y/n] broke the news to Hades that they were expecting their first child together, telling Mal the minute they found out that she was going to be a big sister made their day; now everyone was gathered around the gardens of the castle for the reveal of the gender of the baby, [y/n]'s tummy growing and showing as everyone enjoyed themselves on this beautiful day.

Everyone had some bets on the gender of the baby, it was going to be interesting to see what was going to happen; Fairy Godmother knew what the baby was since she was going to use her magic to show either pink or blue with her wand, it was exciting and tense when [y/n] and Hades didn't know yet but they couldn't keep the smiles off their faces when the time came for everyone to find out.

"What are the scores for the bets?!" [y/n] called out to Audrey you glanced back at the table wondering who was right.

"Sixty votes for the girl and forty for the boy" Audrey called back when seeing the numbers sitting on the table.

"Everyone ready? On three" Fairy Godmother called out with a big smile as everyone gathered around in a circle to watch the reveal.

"One! Two!! THREE!!!" everyone counted together with large smiles until shouting three and Fairy Godmother swung her wand around up in the sky making blue smoke bombs to go off making everyone scream in excitement.

"YES!!! WHOA! YES!!" Hades was the loudest making [y/n] laugh at his reaction when he wrapped his arms around her smiling bigger than before as he placed a kiss on her forehead. "Ready for a brother Mal?" Hades turned to Mal who was smiling brightly as she stood beside them both.

"I'm super excited" Mal was smiling from ear to ear excited she was going to be a big sister.

"Well, what if I said there was one more surprise?" [y/n] asked with a giggle when Hades looked at her with a raised brow wondering what she meant by that. "Ben, could you bring it out please" she looked over at Ben who smirked before vanishing making everyone wanders before Ben comes out with a ballon with the number two on it making everyone shout in excitement seeing the next one.

"No, fucking way!" Hades ran his hands through his hair shocked to see that [y/n] meant this as having twins which was amazing when Ben placed the ballon down next to them, [y/n] handed Mal the needle to pop the ballon, once she popped it blue confetti scattered everywhere having everyone cheer again; Hades picked [y/n] up in his arms spinning her around as she hugged him back before being placed down on the ground smiling and laughing. He gave her a kiss on the lips that she returned, both of them excited to meet their two sons in the future, they returned to another hug but inviting Mal in to join them that she gladly did before Jay caught their attention having them turn and smile at the camera, knowing they would take another picture once the boys were born and more in the future that was just beginning.

"I'm surprised dad let you visit, since it's so close to your due date" Mal said with a smile as she sipped on her tea while talking to [y/n] who could pop any second now.

"It took some convincing believe me" she chuckles while picking up a little treat biting down on it remembering how the talk with Hades went, he needed to be reassured multilabel times in order for [y/n] to come over at visit Mal for the day.

"I can believe that, so you excited?" Mal nods her head just imagining her dad worrying about her before smiling brightly knowing it was getting close to the due date.

"Excited and nervous" [y/n] sighed while placing her hands on her large tummy feeling a kick or two from her boys that made her smile warmly.

Mal smiled warmly as well knowing any day now she will be able to meet her two new half-brothers, she was glad that they will be able to live in a world of both worlds that now found peace among each other now. As time went on Mal and [y/n] started walking around talking like normal, but suddenly she felt a small pain shoot through her system making her pause in her walking having Mal's attention be brought to her with concern.

"You, okay?" she asked placing a hand on her shoulder looking concerned for [y/n].

"I thi-" [y/n] began to speak but was cut off by another pain making her hiss through her teeth and place her hand on the wall for support, before looking at Mal with wide eyes that look alone had Mal's eyes widen and know what was happening.

"Okay, let's get you to the hospital wing; um, Ben!!" Mal said helping [y/n] start to walk down the hall as she saw Ben almost pass them but flagged him down.

"Everything okay?" Ben asked worried wondering what was happening as he jogged on over to them both.

"I need you and Jay to go get my dad, while I get [y/n] to the hospital wing" Mal said as Ben's eyes widened when he only needed to be told that.

"Be right back" he said as he took off running to go find Jay somewhere and go get Hades as Mal helped [y/n] walk to the hospital wing.

Hades was in their home in the mines, trying to work on something with his guitar for the band; a song that he had been working on but could never figure out how to get it off the ground but his mind was on [y/n] who was gone and it made him worried that he should have gone with her if she needed help but she insisted that he try and work out the new song for the band. That's when the sound of running footsteps caught his attention when the sight of Ben and Jay came to his view out of breath from running.

"What's wrong?" Hades asked standing up from the sofa knowing something was wrong.

"[y/n] just went into labor, Mal's with her now in the hospital wing" Ben explained catching his breath as Hades' eyes widen in shock as he dropped everything running with Jay and Ben back to the car to get to the castle.

His heart was in his throat as the car was coming to a stop, but he opened the door not waiting for it to fully stop as he rushed into the castle not waiting for Ben and Jay who tried keeping up with him; going down a couple of halls he got to the hospital wing already seeing Belle, Beast and Mal's friends waiting outside one of the rooms; Hades heard [y/n] whine through the door in pain, he wanted to march in there but Beast stopped him a second.

"There a reason I can't see my wife?" he snarled a bit his hair lighting up at the sudden block from Beast who held his hands up showing no harm.

"Don't go barging in there like a mad man, she needs you to keep a level head I was the same way when Ben was being born and I know this isn't your first time through this but trying to keep calm for her" Beast spoke to Hades knowing that he was a hothead, and [y/n] didn't need to worry about him starting anything in there and Hades knew he had a point when he unlit his flames letting Beast step aside allowing him to go in.

"Dad" Mal called to him when she looked up at the door with a smile.

Hades rushed to [y/n]'s side taking her hand in his when Mal let go of [y/n]'s hand to step aside for him, she held onto his hand tightly as she breathed through the pain covered in a slight sweat when she weakly smiled up at him with tired eyes. Hades kissed her the back of her hand placing his free hand on top of her head as the nurse and doctor worked.

"You're doing great, babe" Hades said to [y/n] as she gritted her teeth squeezing his hand tighter with a slight nod before letting out a breath to calm down.

"I need you to do one more push for the first baby" the doctor said seeing the head coming through as he counted to three.

[Y/n] gathered her strength giving all she got with pushing hard, Hades encouraging her as he held her hand in his; before the sound of the cries of their first son broke into the room around them having her take a small break as the nurse helped clip the baby's cord and start to clean him up before another wave of pain happened three minutes later came washing over [y/n] making her whimper as Hades soothed her his lips against her sweaty temple.

"You're doing great, just one more you got this babe" he whispered to her knowing she needed the support right now while going through this pain.

"Big push, your almost there" Mal encouraged [y/n] as she held her hands together feeling nervous as she stood slight behind Hades.

[Y/n] slowly nods her head as she took a couple of breaths before giving another big push until she felt the huge relief when the second cry of their second son was born, she just felt limp and tired as she leaned her head against the pillow behind her taking a couple of breaths in and out; the nurse handed both baby boys to [y/n] giving them the small bond as they cried a little on her chest, her tired smile just grew as happy tears built up in her eyes as Hades kissed the top of her head smiling like a mad man.

"You did it babe" he said when looking down at his sons who whimpered a bit before the nurse took them to clean up and take care of the rest for [y/n] before moving her into another room to rest after the hard work she did.

[Y/n] slept in her new bed in the new room, Mal and Hades sat in the room watching the twins sleep wrapped up in their blankets nice and warm; Mal couldn't believe she was a big sister now as she looked at her two brothers already seeing who was going to look like who; Jacob the oldest already had signs of blue hair while Lucus had [h/c] like [y/n] did. Hades felt proud of [y/n] as he looked at his two sons knowing this was his second chance to be a good father he knew he would be but still felt guilty when his mind flashed to the moment when Mal was born on the isle; he wasn't allowed to be in the room with Maleficent only given a glimpse of Mal as a baby before a fight broke out between him and Maleficent. That's when he walked out of her knowing Mal would be better off not having him in his life when her life would have been nothing but filled with fighting parents, his mind broke away from the memory when one of the boys started fussing a bit; Hades slowly picked up Jacob hushing him back to sleep with ease as he looked down at his son.

"Dad?" Mal asked wondering what he was thinking when he looked at Jacob with a look she never saw on Hades' face before.

"I never got to do this with you" was all he had to say making Mal understand when she stood up from her spot placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Your here now, that's what matters" Mal said knowing that she doesn't blame him anymore since he helped so much when Audrey went on a rampage and getting to know him once the isle was freed it made them become close as father and daughter, Hades placed Jacob back in his hospital crib knowing he was sleeping and felt better knowing Mal didn't blame him anymore for what life was like.

After a while Mal left the room leaving Hades and [y/n] alone with the boys, Hades sat in the chair with his right leg kicked up on the armrest watching over the three of them before hearing [y/n] stir a bit making him turn his attention to her seeing her eyes slowly flutter open.

"Hey" she said with a warm smile on her face making Hades smile back at her.

"Hey yourself" he said as he stood up from the chair and walked over to her side placing a kiss on her forehead.

"How are they?" she asked as he held her left hand in his running his thumb over her skin.

"Sleeping right now, you did amazing by the way" Hades glanced at the boys still sleeping before looking back down at her with a smirk making her giggle bit.

"Just wait for the late-night baby duties ahead" she teased knowing delivering them wasn't the challenge they both had to face together, Hades could only make a face that made her smile and chuckle knowing he had his work cut out for him with helping her, but his face softened when he looked back at her again. "What?" she couldn't help but ask wondering what he was thinking about right now.

"I can't tell you how much I love you right now, for giving me another chance with you and for giving me those two boys over there: you're just amazing and all I can say is thank you" Hades said being lost for words wondering how he can put his feelings into words when she gave him so much.

"I love you too, it's like I told you before; to follow, to put you first and to be a good wife" she smiled warmly as she spoke her vows again to him.

"I'll make damn sure I'm a good husband for you" Hades promised before giving her a kiss on her lips that she returned with love and tenderness knowing they truly have gotten their happy ever after.

The Isle was having a little halloween celebration like Auradon was having, it was something the kids could do since now both lands had things equally; right now [Y/n] was decorating the rooms around the cave making it as creepy as possible for the boy's party they were having with their friends. Hades walked into the room looking around what she did with the place.

"Looking good" he said snapping his fingers to change the flames of the candles to blue instead of orange.

"Thank you" she said with a giggle when the candle lights changed color.

Their youngest came out of her room, she was five years old dressed up as a pumpkin for this year looking adorable in it; Hazel insisted on going as a pumpkin this year.

"Hey where you going to a wedding?" Hades joked with her when she came out ready for halloween.

"No trick or treating" she said with a big smile on her face.

"Trick or treating what's that?" Hades played along with his daughter which only made [y/n] smile at the two of them.

"You know, when you dress up and people give you candy" Hazel said jumping a little in excitement ready to go out with her own friends.

"You're kidding, when did they start doing this?" Hades said when sitting down on the sofa with a raised brow.

"When my big brothers were three" she said holding up three fingers in front of her.

"Hades, what are you going to wear when taking Hazel out trick or treating?" [y/n] laughed with a warm smile when she stood by Hazel looking at Hades.

"What I normally wear" he shrugged looking down at his normal clothes not really going to change.

"No, you have to wear a costume" Hazel said since she knew that's not how it worked when going out.

"Dads don't wear costumes" he tried playing it off but [y/n] smirked when he looked at her.

"don't worry, daddy will wear a costume" she said with her smirk on her face when looking Hades dead in the eyes.

"I don't have a costume" Hades said giving her a look hoping she would get the look he was trying to signal her.

"Hazel why don't you go upstairs and make daddy a costume" [y/n] chuckled when patting her daughter's head.

"Okay" she agreed when rushing back upstairs to find something for Hades to wear for tonight.

Hades glanced at his wife when she returned to putting up the finishing touches of decor on the walls.

"What are you doing to me?" he asked wondering what game she was playing at.

"Come on this is important to Hazel, you might even like it again" [y/n] said when glancing over her shoulder at him.

"Well, why don't we call it what it really is, begging" Hades stood up from the sofa placing his hands in his pockets making [y/n] laugh at his words. "You get little children all dressed up and by the time they get to the tenth house they don't hold open the bag anymore they just say give me what you have and that's it" Hades continued making [y/n] laugh again when she crossed her arms.

"Hades I still remember a boy when he was fifteen" [y/n] leaned against one of the wooden pillars with her arms crossed bring up a memory of Hades back in their school days, he just gave her was raised brow look with a smirk. "All the kids were half your size; you get to the door reach right over them and put your bag in first and the day after halloween you had the balls to go back out and knock on dorm doors and ask people what do you have left?" [y/n] continued still remembering the old memories like it was yesterday for them.

"And that's when your brother gave me you" Hades fired back having [y/n]'s mouth gasp open with a smile that made him laugh out loud at her look. He walked over to her leaning down and giving her a kiss on the lips that she returned with a chuckle in the kiss. "Love you babe" he said when giving a tap to her nose.

"Love you too" she smiled warmly feeling her heart flutter every time.

"Dad!! I have you costume ready!!" Hazel called up from her room having him groan when he walked upstairs having [y/n] laugh at him making him turn to her pointing a finger at her.

"I'm getting you back for this" Hades warned her only made her giggle again when he headed upstairs.

"Jacbo! Lucus! You two ready?!" [y/n] called out to her sons wondering where they were right now.

"Yes!" they called out at the same time as they came downstairs Jacob dressed as an emperor and Lucus dressed as a pirate.

"Ready for your little party?" she asked with a smile at her two thirteen-year-old boys who looked like their father every day.

"Yes, and we will follow the rules" Jacob said and pointing out knowing that their mom and dad would be out with Hazel.

"You can bend them a little bit" Hades' voice called out when he came downstairs wearing the costume Hazel picked out for him making [y/n] smile and giggle seeing Hades dressed up as a charming prince. "You changing yourself or are you only allowed to go casual?" Hades teased her when she giggles again the boys laughed too.

"I'll change" she said before heading into their shared room to change into her costume when taking Hazel out tonight, it will surely be a fun night tonight.

It was another busy day in Merlin Acadamy, students filled the hallways with chatter and clanking of shoes as they made their way to their classes; in magical history class the students sat there in their chairs waiting for the teacher to show up. Hades sat in the back with the other VK's chewing on a piece of gum lazily, his lap accompanied by Maleficent who listened to Hook talk about something that was drowned out by Hades not caring what it was about; the sound of the door opened up bringing their attention to the teacher walking in and facing the class.

"Take your seats please, and we have a new student transferring today from Winter's Keep" the teacher spoke as the students took their seats listening before her attention looked to the door showing someone walking in shyly with their head down. "Don't be shy say hello" the teacher encouraged with a gentle touch on their back.

"Hi, my name is [Y/n] [L/N]" she spoke gently with a small wave to the class who returned the greeting.

Walking forward she settled down in the empty seat that was right in front of Hades, who stared at her with piercing blue eyes that she met with her [e/c] eyes tensing up when she sat down quickly in her spot; she definitely didn't dress like anyone around here. She wore a black hoodie covering her hair and face with the hood with some sparkles outlining it, she wore long blue jeans and hiker boots; from what he could see of her face she wore little makeup in natural colors; Hades blew a bubble with his gum and popped it with his teeth before focusing on the homework in from of him in the boring class.

After magical history class everyone had a free period before the next class; some hung out in their spots in the courtyard or somewhere in school. Hades walked with the VK's with his arm over Maleficent's shoulder as they talked about doing something mischievous to a student; and Uliana targeted the new girl who sat in the courtyard in one of the corners with some books in her lap while she drew or wrote something in one of them, but Uliana grabbed it with her tentacle catching [y/n]'s attention as she laughed.

"Give that back please" she asked when standing up trying to go for it, but Hook blocked her path making her back up a bit.

"I just wanted a look" she said when holding the book in her hands flipping through the pages seeing drawings of people and things in them making her scuff at them. "You call these drawings?" Uliana said when ripping out one making [y/n] flinch with her hands twitching.

"Please give me the book back" she asked again not wanting to deal with bullies or fight bullies.

"Bein' nice doesn't work on us love" Hook teased her by touching her cheek with his hook which made her flinch away from his touch as Uliana kept looking through the book before stopping on the newest one.

"Looks like you have a fan Hades" she said when handing the book to him who took it and seeing a sketch of him in class in a lazy pose as he looked down at the textbook, it was good pretty detailed for a girl who just met him this morning in class.

Maleficent didn't take it kindly when she snatched the book from his hands and marched closer to [y/n] who shrunk back with her arms wrapped around her afraid what she might to do her when she held the book in front of her, and suddenly making the book go up in flames making [y/n] gasp with a whine seeing her hard work go up in flames.

"You better back off, new girl" Maleficent hissed at her when dropping the burnt book down on the ground.

[Y/n] said nothing as she kneeled down to her burnt book of sketches, looking broken seeing it all gone and having to start over again as the others laughed at her when turning away from her; Hades couldn't help but glance back over his shoulders seeing [y/n] wipe a tear away when she picked up her other books and walked off to who knows where and he wondered why he felt sorry for her after seeing the sketch of himself he was impressed by it since it would take a while to draw something that detailed, she wondered how she did it in only a few hours of school.

[Y/n] was in the library after the fourth class today, trying to focus on the essay in front of her but couldn't as she stared at the words. That's when something was held out in front of her making her look up seeing Hades standing in front of her holding a new sketch book in his hands; she was hesitant at first but took it was a soft thank you to him, surprised when he sat down in the chair in front of her placing his feet on top of the table looking at her making her confused for a second why he would do that.

"How'd you, do it?" he asked her, wondering how she drew him in less than an hour after magical history class.

"Do what?" she was confused and a bit tense as her eyes glanced around worried that maybe one of the VK's would come over or Maleficent would see him sitting with her and do something.

"Drew me, that much detail would have taken a couple of hours not to mention you would have needed a photo or me in front of you" he elaborated his question as he chewed on his gum blowing a bubble again and popping it.

"Oh, that my gift magical memory I just have to see someone or something once and I can draw it with every detail" she explained with a small smile telling him her special gift that her family had in the family she was the lucky one who got it from birth.

"Can you draw me again?" he asked without thinking about it or didn't know why he asked her to do it again, but seeing her blush a little made his heart somehow flutter and he didn't know if he liked it or frightened by it.

"If you want to be my first actual model this time" she smirked a little bit with her blush still on her cheeks when asking her question to him.

"Sure" he shrugged not thinking about the question much.

"Great, meet me at my dorm room during lunch tomorrow" [y/n] said standing up from her spot at the table being a little forward that surprised Hades a bit since she acted mostly like a shy person before, but she grabbed her things and went off to who knows where and all they had to wait for was tomorrow during lunch.

The next day was like any other boring day, until lunch rolled around, and Hades made a good excuse not to get lunch with Maleficent and the others; making his way down the halls he found [y/n]'s dorm room giving the door a knock he heard a 'come in' from the other side. Letting himself in and closing the door he saw lots of drawings on the walls pinned up as he walked in seeing [y/n] sitting on her bed sharpening her pencils with her sketch book ready to go.

"How good are you in taking orders?" she asked when looking up from her pencils.

"I don't" Hades answered popping his gum once more as he looked at her.

"Too bad, sit down on the chair there and gum in trash" she said when pointing to the chair in the middle of the room and the small trash can by her desk.

He was surprised seeing her a bit bossy when it came to this; he just shrugged and did what he was told when he spit out his gum in the trash and sat down on the chair. [Y/n] stood up from her bed to walk over to him, walking around him with her finger tapping her chin; before she came close to him like she was on auto mode right now when she placed his left arm on the back of the chair to dangle it behind him, placing his right ankle on his left leg before titling his head down a bit before backing up to look at him.

"Try keeping that with your eyes slightly looking up" she said as she grabbed her sketch book and pencils.

Hades sighed when he slowly looked slightly up having his eyes meet [y/n] for a split second, having them both freeze in that second as they looked at each other; feeling some sort of pull towards each other, but [y/n] broke it first when looking down and sitting down on the edge of her bed placing her sketch book on her lap and taking a pencil.

"Let me know if you need anything" she said before turning on some songs that were old rock that Hades listened to from time to time as she started to sketch him for a second time in person.

Hades didn't know how long he stayed in that pose for her, but he could feel his neck cramping and arm cramping up from how long he sat here; he groaned a bit when he moved his head a bit bringing her attention to him away from the sketch book.

"Cramping up?" she asked seeing the uncomfortable look in his eyes.

"Yep" he said when she placed her book down letting him move out of the pose feeling stiff from sitting like that for so long; he stood and stretched feeling some parts of his muscles crack and pop when he sighed.

"You lasted longer than most" she said when handing him some water that he took from her.

"I zoned out a couple of times" Hades said in truth as he grabbed a snack sitting on her desk popping it in her his mouth.

"I do the same, but it's almost done" she said with a small smile on her face before picking up the sketch book in her hands smiling proudly at it.

"Let me see" Hades asked walking over wanting to see but [y/n] covered it up hiding it behind her back making Hades raise a brow at her.

"Not until it's done" she said with a small smile on her face again wanting it to be a surprise for him.

"Come on just one look" he said trying to reach for it, but she dodged him making him chuckle seeing the game here in front of him as he tried grabbing it again, but she moved away from him again with a giggle as he suddenly started chasing her around her room making her laugh out loud when she tried running from him; he let a laugh slip from his lips as he chased her around the room trying to get the sketch book from her hands that she kept away from him.

But the chase stopped when she was backed up against her desk looking up at him out of breath as he also tried catching his breath as well; he stared into her [e/c]'s as she stared into his blue eyes, feeling his hot breath against her flushed cheeks as they were inches from each other feeling that same pull towards each other like before they started; but the moment was broken Hades cleared his throat backing away from her as she snapped out of it as well.

"I should um, should get going can't wait to um see it" Hades tried speaking but couldn't find the right words as he slowly backed up to the door.

"Yeah, I'll let you know" she said feeling the same awkwardness in the air around him not meeting his gaze like he was with her.

Hades nods his head before opening her door and closing it behind him letting her let out a breath she didn't know she was holding as she turned to her desk looking down at the drawing of Hades feeling her heart flutter when looking at the man in the sketch; she just didn't know what this feeling or this pull she felt towards him was right now and she was afraid to think about what it could be.

Chapter Text

It was a week since [y/n] came to the school, she kept to herself still but was friends with Bridget and Cinderella; also, Hades has been keeping his distance from her ever since that time he modeled for her for a new drawing, but no matter how hard he tried to stay away his mind still plagued him with the thoughts of her. Almost every class they were in she was always sitting in front of him, he would slightly look up from his homework wondering if she was also thinking about him. Around lunch time he always found her in the same spot, she would be hanging out with Bridget and Cinderella showing her new sketches to them and could see some of them as well; he wondered if she finished the one with him in it or if she completely forgot about it but something in his heart told him she didn't while his mind said she did forget.

Hades was walking to his locker, with his usual scowl on his face when opening it; his movements stopped when he saw a folder inside his locker with a note on it. Picking it up he looked at the note that was attached to the folder.

'Sorry I couldn't give it to you in person, I hope you like this; sincerely [y/n]'

The note said making his heart actually flutter when he soon opened the folder seeing the sketch [y/n] drew of him, she drew him in a different setting this time; the chair was sat in while he waited was a throne covered in skulls and fire; the arm behind the chair was behind the throne for it was just the same size as the chair he sat on, his eyes were the most detailed like they were burning back with the hard stare not an angry stare; it was like she could see right through him for his eyes in the drawing held a hidden rage yet sadness inside of them. He couldn't help but smirk with a chuckle like huff liking this sketch then the first one, placing it back into the folder he hid it inside of his locker so only he knew where it was. He felt like he should repay [y/n] for the drawing she did for him, he just needed to figure it out.

It was a day or two and Hades found something for [y/n] to give to her for the sketch and it was hard keeping it out of sight from the others especially from Maleficent who seemed to have a thing against [y/n] from the first time she sketched Hades; he sneaked away from his group to find [y/n] and give her the gift. He didn't find her in her spot in the courtyard, so he had one more place to check and that was the library she found that place quiet for studying or for drawing, slipping in he spotted her [h/c] hair in the corner of the room; she had headphones on as she read a book on some kind of magical item she was studying, he walked over to her not knowing if he should tap her shoulder or not but he took out the gift for her and dangled it in front of her making her jump when seeing something.

"Oh, Hades" she said taking her headphone off when she looked behind her before looking back at the small charm necklace he got for her. "What's this for?" she asked with a small warm smile as she held it in her hands.

"It's payment for the sketch you did" Hades said when sitting down in the chair beside her kicking his feet up on the table chewing on his gum.

"Aw that's sweet of you" she said loving the look of the charm that was of a blue flame. 

Hades tried to hide the blush when he slightly looked away from her, shrugging a bit not making a big deal out of it wondering why his heart was thumping hard in his chest when his body moved on its own when he unclasp the necklace for her allowing [y/n] to move her hair out of the way as he placed it on her neck; clipping it together his mind went blank for a moment as the skin of his right fingers gently grazed against her soft skin feeling her shiver from his touch but noticed she leaned into his touch letting his lips graze against her forehead as they breathed heavily at the pull they felt towards each other. But the ring of the bell broke them apart in a blink of an eye as they tried to wrap their heads around what just happened again.

"Um, thank you again for the gift" she cleared her throat as she gathered her book feeling the blush on her cheeks.

"Yeah, no problem; see you in class" he answered back feeling the blush also on his cheeks as he slightly looked away from her.

"Y-yeah" she stuttered a bit as they walked out of the library into the hallway filled with students heading to class, [y/n] was about to walk away into the sea of people, but Hades grabbed her wrist slightly tugging her back grabbing her attention.

"Would it.....would it be too much to ask if you could draw me again or maybe teach me?" Hades felt the blush on his cheeks redden afraid to meet her eyes as he asked her this question wanting to be around her in secret.

"I'd be happy to teach you, next Saturday?" she smiled warmly feeling her heart flutter at the idea of teaching Hades to draw.

"See you then" he agreed when his hand left her wrist tucking them into his leather jacket, before they both walked in different ways to class waiting for Saturday to roll right around the corner for them both.

"It still looks like a stick figure" Hades complained about maybe the tenth time as he looked at the drawing in front of him on his lap while he leaned his head again [y/n]'s bed since he sat on the floor while she sat on top of her bed.

[Y/n] crawled over to the edge to the bed, glancing over his left shoulder to see what he didn't like about this one; she could see he had the talent but needed the practice which would take a while. It wasn't like her who was gifted by magic to do so but she knew he could do it with some teaching.

"Actually, it looks normal to me you are just being hard on yourself because you want to be perfect now" [y/n] said seeing some good details in the picture he was referencing to his right just of an outdoor picture that was easy to follow, she playfully poked his hair making him knock her hand away making her giggle at his playful glare.

"You make it look easy" he fired back when glancing over his shoulder looking up at her with a raised brow.

"Because it's just a magical talent in my family, give me a paintbrush and I'll show you a stick figure" she said when sitting up from her bed knowing she was better with a pencil then a paintbrush that was her mother's talent.

Hades huffed a sigh when [y/n] handed him something to drink which he took; they've been in her room for more than three hours now just sitting around and drawing, he made the excuse to Maleficent that he was coming down with something and snuck over to her room to be taught how to draw. This was honestly relaxing to his surprise not knowing he could have some fun doing something like this, normally he'd be out with Maleficent or the other VK's at the lagoon or bullying another student to pass the time but this, this was nice, and he enjoyed the company that came with it.

"What would be your number one advice?" Hades asked wondering what she would say if she didn't offer to teach someone else.

"The secret to me would have to be finding something or someone that inspires you, or captures your attention it's that feeling where time just stops, and you just think hold it; hold that pose for as long as you can" [y/n] thought for a moment when she started explaining how it felt to get that feeling when you want to capture something and pause it in time forever with a pencil, Hades couldn't help but smile warmly seeing how she zoned out when thinking about that feeling and how her eyes lit up when she talked about it, it made his heart flip in his chest.

The sound of the bell brought their attention to what time it was, being it coming around lunchtime now and that they have been doing this since breakfast ended; Hades didn't want to leave but knew that someone would be coming to check on him and his so call sick feeling, he stood up placing the extra sketch book on the ground.

"I know you'll draw something great with practice" [y/n] said as she walked him to her door giving him some encouragement to keep trying.

"Hope your right" he said giving a shrug before giving her a wink when he went out the door making her blush as she closed the door behind her with a shy warm smile on her face.

-two days later-

[Y/n] and Alex reached the bridge in time as everyone got out their papers, looking up to Carlos, Evie, Jay and Mal with hope and excitement; Evie came down to get the papers from everyone and head back up for them to look over and pick out to go over the bridge and start a new life, [y/n] felt a lump in her throat as she waited with Alex who held her hand tightly being scared himself. [y/n] heard the name of Dizzy being picked out then hearing Celia being called out, her heart was shattering by the minute as she kneeled down to Alex holding him close worried, he would have to wait another year or more before they come back, some tears fell as she heard the names Squeaky and Squirmy the sons of Smee were called which she was happy about they were sweet boys and were friends with Alex, she gave Alex a kiss on his forehead as a tear slipped her eyes feeling her heart shatter.

"But we have a surprise we were able to ask for one more VK to come with us, so give it up for the son of Duchess [Y/n], Alex!" Mal began to speak holding up one more piece of paper before shouting out Alex's name making [y/n] overjoyed as she smiled and clapped letting Alex join the other kids up there, Alex was smiling and excited.

[Y/n] and Alex were heading back home smiling and excited in a week Alex will be able to go with his friends and have a good life, they took the shortcut back into their home finding Hades on the sofa fast asleep with his sunglasses on making [y/n] chuckle at him as she whispered to Alex who slowly walked over to his room to start gathering his things he needed the most; [y/n] walked over to Hades hovering over him before placing a kiss on his the lips waking him up.

"What happened?" Hades asked when she backed away from the kiss as he lifted his sunglasses up to look at her.

"Alex will be going next week, he is packing what he needs" [y/n] said as she sat down on the sofa when Hades moves his feet off of a spot to sit up beside her.

"You good?" he asked knowing full well this was hard on both of them right now.

"Yeah, yeah just need it to sink in a bit" [y/n] said with a heavy sigh before feeling Hades gently pull her closer to him and letting her lay her head on his shoulder to let it all sink in right now, knowing they're little boy was going to go have a better life and have the help that he needs to live longer and maybe hopefully maybe they'll be able to see him again.

*COUGH, COUGH* 

Another coughing fit came out of nowhere in the middle of the night, echoing off the cave walls as [y/n] coughed hard and roughly to clear her lungs that have been bothering her for a week now; she felt movement behind her feeling his hands on her shoulders to steady her as she coughed into her elbow, giving one last good cough she finally caught her breath allowing her to breathe again, her eyes burning from the tears that built up as she tried catching her breathe again through the coughing fit. 

"Take this baby girl" Hades' voice came to her ears as he held something in his hand, a greenish liquid that she took with slightly wobbly hands but was able to bring the small cup to her lips and drink it; making a sour face once swallowed as Hades took the glass away from her. "Need me to take you to the doc?" Hades asked as he combed her hair back with his fingers slowly calming her. 

"No, no I'm fine" she said slowly shaking her head as she placed her head against his shoulder, allowing him to slowly bring them back down to lay on the bed snuggling up together.

"Okay, try and get some sleep baby girl" he said placing a kiss on top of her head as she yawned again letting her eyes close to fall back asleep, Hades couldn't help but sigh as he stayed up a bit longer as he held her close to him; he didn't want to fall back asleep worried that if he did, he would lose her to her sickness that only grown worse over time; he didn't care if he would lose sleep all he cared about was being there for her the only person who didn't treat him like cruel villain with no heart.

Two days have passed since that coughing fit and things haven't changed when they went to the only doctor on the isle, he could only do so much for [y/n] as he once again told Hades that the medicine she is taken only does so much and takes care only half the problem she is facing; there was always a risk she would start coughing up blood luckily she hasn't reached that point so Hades hoped she wouldn't reach that point and slowly get healthy again. After the visit to the docs, they both returned home, Hades always carried her even though she said she could walk but Hades wanted her to rest as much as she could; she fell asleep on the way home and once at home Hades slowly laid her down on their shared bed taking her shoes of before placing her under the covers when placing the medicine on the bedside table for him to grab quickly. He rubbed his eyes himself feeling the tiredness catching up to him, sighing he turned to his record player placing the Cerberus record on it and letting the needle go with the groves of the record letting the barking echo through the cave walls; warding off others who wanted to come in when he turned around and place his dark sunglasses over his eyes as he plopped into his chair slinging his legs over the arms rest as he soon found himself passed out into sleep himself.

He didn't know how much time had passed when the sound of the record being stopped caught his attention, he didn't like other coming in for no reason when [y/n] was sick and needed his attention.

"What're you doing here?" Hades asked in a low and calm tone which meant as a warning to not piss him off right now.

"I noticed you were low on cane corn" Celia winced a bit but recovered quickly as she turned to face Hades pulling out a single can of corn, tossing it at him that he caught with his left hand; but his right hand quickly caught the person trying to touch his ember.

Hades took the ember from her grasp as he turned in his chair to look at her with his sunglasses still on staring at her for a moment as she stared right back at him.

"Hi dad" Mal spoke with a dull look on her face.

Celia raised a confused brow at this news while Hades wasn't fazed at all as he took off his sunglasses letting them drop somewhere while he wiggled his fingers at her in a 'hello' to her.

"Quite the show you put on the other day" he spoke to her talking about the time when he tried breaking out early that morning before returning back here to [y/n].

"Right back at cha" Mal said still with a dull and somewhat irritated look on her face.

"Hm, I was just coming to see you" Hades hummed before smirking when he stood up from his chair along with Mal as she watched him like a hawk while he walked around the chair like she did.

"Really? Wonder why, is it because I'm gonna be queen?" Mal raised a brow as she watched him before shrugging her shoulders at the idea of why he would want to see her.

"Oh, now Mal, Mal don't be bitter" Hades let out a huff of a laugh while dismissing her a bit when turning away from her.

"You abandon me when I was a baby" Mal crossed her arms as she glared at him.

"No, no I left your mother" Hades was quick to correct her as he turned to face her pointing at her. "She....She not the easiest person to get along with" Hades spoke again getting a little frustrated at the old memories with her before [y/n] came into his life.

"You think" Mal said knowing what he was talking about since she really only cared for Mal when she wanted something from her.

"Huh, we both have something in common for already we both hate your mother" Hades was surprised a bit as he turned back around to face Mal standing a bit closer in front of her.

"No, I don't hate my mother; she maybe an evil lunatic but at least she stuck around" Mal was quick to correct him pointing out she stuck around, and he didn't when she was born.  

"Aw boo-hoo" Hades gave a fake pity look on his face. "Wake up and smell the stink. You think you had it rough? I used to be a GOD!!! I had an entire world which bore my name and now I have nothing! And you have no idea what that feels like" Hades continued snarling a bit before he yelled letting his voice echo against the walls unknowing, he woke up [y/n].

"Really?! Because for sixteen years I have nothing! And now I have a whole world but unless I get that ember it's game over" Mal yelled right back at him explaining her side of this before holding out her hand for the ember he was still holding.

Before Hades could do anything, the sound of coughing caught his attention quickly as he pushed pass Mal and rushed to the bedroom [y/n] was in; seeing her in a coughing fit again Hades was fast to be by her side holding her steady as she coughed. Not bothered that Mal followed him wondering who was back here surprised to see [y/n] here of all places, she used to try and teach the kids in the school here and taught Mal and her friends a little before she had to find a different job on the isle. Watching how Hades tensed at each coughed see him in a different light as he helped [y/n] steady herself until she coughed once more only to see blood on her hand which made his heart sink when seeing that.

"H-Hades" [y/n] spoke with a rough voice worried when she looked at her hand.

"It's okay baby girl; take this" Hades hushed her as he wiped the blood from her lips before reaching for her medicine even though he knew it did nothing he still hoped it did something for her as she took at.

"[Y/n]?" Mal called out in concern while walking closer to her and Hades catching her attention.

"Mal, you've grown up so much" [y/n] smiled weakly but smiled as she slowly stood up even though Hades didn't want her to but let her as she walked over to Mal giving her a hug that Mal returned.

"Are you okay?" Mal asked when they broke the hug as she looked her over, [y/n] looked paler from the last time; had bags under her eyes and just looked like death ran her over.

"I'm fine just sick, that's all" [y/n] played it off like it was nothing, but Mal could tell it wasn't just nothing.

Hades stood up from the bed coming to [y/n] side placing a hand on her shoulder, Mal looked between him and [y/n] already putting two and two together and felt secretly happy for them both, but she needed to get that ember.

"Do you think you can convince my dad to give me the ember?" Mal asked when looking back at [y/n] who looked up at Hades who chuckled.

"The ember only works for me" Hades said to her playing it off that he could only use it and maybe get out with [y/n] to get her actual help on the other side.

"No, it'll work for me we're blood" Mal could see through his idea as she held out her hand for the ember.

"Your only half Hades, the ember won't do everything for you as it does for me" Hades chuckled with a smirk knowing it'll only do half of the things for her then it would for him if this place had magic.

"I'll take my chances" she said still not buying his idea of coming allowing with her and the others.

[Y/n] nudged his side a bit making him sigh before handing her the ember at last knowing he wasn't going to get anywhere with chatting and needed to worry about [y/n] at the moment instead of his ember.

"If it gets wet it's game over!" Hades called out to give her a warning as Mal began to walk away from them, she only gave him a wave.

"Nice to see you, Mal" [y/n] called out with a warm smile.

"You too [y/n]! Good luck with my dad!" Mal called back out giving a jab at Hades which made her giggle for the first time in a week.

"That's my girl" Hades could help but smile proudly at his daughter and where she had gotten herself, [y/n] smiled herself when placing her head against his shoulder making him turn his attention to her giving her a kiss on her lips knowing there had to be a way to help her and he was wondering if Mal was willing to help [y/n] out.
