Work Text:
The truth is, Margot wants as much time with Amy before college as she can get. Getting her to tag along as a counselor at camp is just the excuse.
Margot doesn’t have overly fond memories of hot summers spent with mosquitoes and ticks, but it gets her out of the house for a brief respite.
It would let her and Amy have more time together. Without pressure, Krissy’s possessive resentment, her mom’s constant expectations.
Margot doesn’t expect anything to happen. She can’t afford anything to happen. But then again, sometimes what happens at summer camp… stays at summer camp.
