Work Text:

The Hotel Hazbin was as lively as ever, its residents bustling about with their usual antics. However, amidst the chaos, a quiet corner of the lobby was filled with an unusual energy. There, you sat, surrounded by candles, crystals, and ancient tomes. Your presence always brought a touch of mystique to the hotel, a stark contrast to the madness that usually reigned supreme.

Alastor, the Radio Demon, was drawn to you like a moth to a flame. He found your occult practices fascinating, a refreshing deviation from the usual denizens of Hell. Today, as he watched you from a distance, his curiosity got the better of him.

"My dear, what dark arts are you conjuring up today?" Alastor's voice crackled with his signature static, sending a shiver down your spine.

You looked up from your spellbook, meeting his red, glowing eyes with a sly smile. "Just a little protection spell, Alastor. One can never be too careful in a place like this."

He chuckled, the sound echoing eerily through the room. "Ah, but isn't that the charm of Hell? The constant danger, the thrill of the unknown?"

"Perhaps," you mused, closing your book and standing up. "But even in Hell, it's nice to have a little peace of mind."

Alastor stepped closer, his presence overwhelming but strangely comforting. "Peace of mind, you say? And what would a powerful witch like yourself need protection from?"

You tilted your head, studying him. "From demons who think they can charm their way into my heart with their smooth talk and devilish good looks."

He laughed, a sound that was both sinister and enchanting. "Touché, my dear. Touché. But tell me, have I succeeded in charming you?"

You stepped closer, the air between you crackling with tension. "What do you think, Alastor?"

He grinned, a flash of sharp teeth. "I think you and I are quite the pair, my little witch."

Before you could respond, the candles around you flickered and dimmed, the room growing colder. You turned your head slightly, sensing a dark presence approaching. Alastor, always attuned to the supernatural, noticed it too.

"Ah, it seems we have company," he said, his tone laced with amusement.

A shadowy figure emerged from the darkness, its form shifting and writhing. "You dare to consort with a demon, witch?" it hissed, its voice dripping with malice.

You raised an eyebrow, unperturbed. "And who are you to question my choices?"

The shadow lunged at you, but Alastor stepped in front of you, his grin widening. "Now, now, let's not be hasty," he said, his voice taking on a menacing edge. "This witch is under my protection."

The shadow paused, seemingly hesitant. You placed a hand on Alastor's shoulder, drawing on your magic. With a whispered incantation, you banished the shadow, the room returning to its previous state.

Alastor turned to you, genuine admiration in his eyes. "Impressive, my dear. It seems you don't need my protection after all."

You smirked, brushing off your hands. "Maybe not, but it doesn't hurt to have a powerful ally."

He offered you his arm, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Then shall we continue our dance with the shadows together?"

You took his arm, your fingers entwining with his. "I wouldn't have it any other way."

Together, you and Alastor strode through the Hotel Hazbin, a witch and a demon, bound by a shared love for the dark and mysterious. In each other, you had found a kindred spirit, and together, you were ready to face whatever Hell had to offer.
