(1) Curse Users: Evil Jujutsu Sorcerers.
(2) Yakuza: Organized crime syndicates that operate in Japan.
(3) Cursed Technique: Special abilities used by Jujutsu Sorcerers, fuelled by Cursed Energy. Typically, an innate ability that one inherits from one’s family.
(4) Zen’in Clan: One of the Big Three Jujutsu Sorcerer families, along with the Gojo and Kamo clan, helps run Jujutsu Sorcerer Society, known for being extremely Patriarchal and forming a hierarchy based on how valuable ones cursed technique is as well as the inherited cursed techniques of one’s children meaning they are obsessed with bloodlines.
(5) Jujutsu Sorcerer: People who protect humanity from Cursed spirits, can use Jujutsu (Cursed Energy and/or Cursed techniques) typically to fight against Cursed spirits and Curse Users. Moreover, they are typically capable of seeing cursed spirits. Non-Jujutsu Sorcerers are people who cannot see cursed spirits or use Jujutsu.
(6) Grade: The official power scaling system that ranks and categorises the combat strength of Jujutsu Sorcerers, Cursed Spirits and Cursed tools.
Typically, the ranking system goes as follows from Weakest to Strongest:
Grade 4, Grade 3, Semi-Grade 2, Grade 2, Semi-Grade 1, Grade 1, Special Grade 1, and Special Grade.
(7) Heavenly Restriction: A contract placed on an individual from birth that enhances certain capabilities in exchange for weakening others. E.g. Having an exceptionally weak body in exchange for exceptionally high levels of cursed energy.
(8) Cursed Energy: Negative energy given off by humans when they experience negative emotion e.g. Shame, Anger, Regret etc. The power source of Jujutsu and is also found in cursed tools and results in the creation of cursed spirits as the cursed energy emitted by primarily Non-Jujutsu Sorcerers accumulates over time to create cursed spirits. Can be used to cause harm or reinforce the body.
(9) Cursed spirits: A race of spiritual beings, invisible to Non-Jujutsu Sorcerers. Incarnated from the cursed energy given off by humans. Due to being born of negative human emotion they are naturally inclined to cause harm to humans. Their individual characteristics and capabilities often reflect a concept that humanity collectively holds strong negative emotions towards e.g. Natural disasters. They can only be exorcised via attacks imbued with cursed energy.
(10) Barriers: Zones and territories established with Jujutsu. They are generally used to conceal, contain, and deny entry to entities within that space. Cursed techniques that erect barriers are known as barrier techniques. They can only recognise and affect beings with cursed energy and thus ignore things without cursed energy e.g. inanimate objects.
(11) Residuals: Traces of cursed energy left behind by Jujutsu Sorcerers, curse users, cursed tools and cursed spirits who have used Jujutsu. Can be used to track and identify an individual. However, that individual can be skilled enough to cover up their residuals.
(12) Cursed Tools: Weapons imbued with cursed energy and or a cursed technique.
(13) Split Soul Katanna: A cursed tool that looks like a Katanna sword with a broad blade, a fur handguard, and a dark handle. It is imbued with the ability to bypass the physical toughness of anything it cuts by cutting its soul, allowing it to effectively cut through anything. Its full power cannot be used unless the wielder can perceive the souls of living beings and inanimate objects (Its grade is unknown, most likely special grade).
(14) Inverted Spear of Heaven: A special grade cursed tool that looks like a dagger with a Jitte-shaped blade and a circular link at the other end of the handle. Its cursed technique causes the nullification of any cursed technique the blade encounters as well the cursed technique of anyone it stabs.
(15) Chain of a Thousand Miles: A special grade cursed tool that look like a long chain with a clip on one end that can be attached to other cursed tools such as the Inverted spear of Heaven with the circular link on its handle to extend its effective range. It is imbued with the ability to extend endlessly so long as one end of it is hidden from view.
(16) Playful Cloud: A special grade cursed tool, that looks like a red, three section staff joined by short chains. It is the only special grade cursed tool without a cursed technique. Instead, it is imbued with cursed energy that even allows those with little or no cursed energy to fight and win against special grade opponents. It is highly dependent on the physical prowess and martial skill of its wielder.
(17) Fly-Head: Weak and small insect like curse spirits that are so harmless they do not even register on the grade ranking system. i.e. Lower than Grade 4.
(18) Kodoku: A process where you put several venomous insects in a jar and let them kill each other. The poisonous fluids of the last surviving insect would then be used to poison, kill, or curse someone.
(19) Bagh Nakh: A weapon originating from the Indian subcontinent that looks like a claw shaped dagger that can be worn over the knuckles or concealed within your palm. Based on predatory animal claws and its name means “Tiger Claws” in Hindi.
(20) Reverse Cursed technique: A advanced form of Jujutsu where one multiplies their cursed energy, which is a negative form of energy, to make positive energy that can heal the body as opposed to cause harm or reinforce the body. This occurs in the brain while cursed energy comes from the gut.
(21): Domain Expansion: One of the most supreme techniques of Jujutsu. It involves expanding one’s innate domain with cursed energy while using a barrier to construct it within a sperate space. The user then imbues the domain with their cursed technique allowing them to deploy it throughout their domain. Their cursed technique is often improved or altered and is usually imbued with a guaranteed to-hit effect meaning it will never miss within their domain expansion. The latter works by locking on to the targets cursed energy.
(22): Ten Shadows Cursed Technique: A treasured cursed technique of the Zen’in Clan where the user can summon Ten specific Shikigami (curse spirit-like creatures that can be conjured by Jujutsu Sorcerers to serve as their familiars) using shadows as an intermediary to summon the shikigami from and the user makes different shadow graphic hand signs to summon each Shikigami. Each of the shikigami must be tamed, except for the two divine dogs, as part of a special exorcism ritual before the user can control them. The user can also hide within and store useful objects in their shadow as well as combine the Shikigami with each other to create hybrids shikigami with combined abilities.
(23): Six Eyes: An Innate trait inherited within the Gojo clan. It is a non-standard ocular Jujutsu trait where the user is born with bright-blue eyes that grant extrasensory perception. This includes seeing the flow of cursed energy in extreme detail which allows the user to determine how a person cursed technique works merely by looking at them. This also allows the user to have extremely precise and efficient control of their own cursed energy which is necessary for mastery of the limitless cursed technique.
(24): Limitless Cursed Technique: A inherited cursed technique of the Gojo Clan, allows the user to manipulate and distort space at will. It has several distinct applications.
Application 1: Neutral Limitless, Infinity. Essentially the power to stop. The user takes the finite distance between themselves and an incoming attack and divides it an infinite number of times in accordance with “Zeno’s Paradox,” also known as “Achilles and the Tortoise.” As a result, the incoming attack will slow down and never reach the user of the limitless.
Application 2: Strengthened Limitless, Blue. The power to attract. The amplifies the cursed technique by increasing the amount of cursed energy used to power it. The brings the conceptual impossibility of negative distance into reality which causes the surrounding space to converge on the impossibility creating a magnetic/black hole-like affect which crushes anything within that space. Can also be used to teleport over short distances, move objects without touching them or enhance the impact of physical blows.
Application 3: Reverse Limitless, Red. The power to repel. Reverse of blue, instead of using negative cursed energy to power the cursed technique. The user uses the positive energy created by reverse cursed technique to power the limitless cursed technique creating positive distance which has a repulsive/divergent affect.
Application 4: Colliding Limitless, Hollow Purple: A fusion of Blue and Red that collides both infinities of convergence and divergence to generate an imaginary mass which is then launched at a target and will take them out of reality in the process of erasing them. Hypothetically imaginary mass (Tachyonic particles) can move faster than the speed of light.
(25): Vengeful Cursed Spirit: Cursed spirits who are created when a human becomes a cursed spirit after death. It usually occurs when a dead person’s death is cursed by someone nearby who is a Jujutsu Sorcerer or when a Jujutsu Sorcerer curses their own demise. The best way to stop it occurring is to kill Jujutsu Sorcerers with a method involving cursed energy.
(26): Binding Vow: A pact that a Jujutsu can make with their Jujutsu abilities usually to enhance or alter their capabilities so long as they follow the conditions of the contract. They can also make it with others to make an unbreakable agreement. You will suffer a severe punishment if you break the pact and how much your abilities can be altered or enhanced depends on how restrictive or costly the conditions of the pact are.
