William Afton
Real Name: William J. Afton

Place of Birth: Hurricane, Utah (USA)
William Afton is the main mastermind of the “Afton Arc.” (The story that I'm currently working on as of August 4th, 2024 is the Afton Arc.)
He is the original founder and former owner of Fazbear Entertainment. He resigned in 2007 after the FBI issued a warrant for his arrest after a nearly 20 year investigation linked him to a major bank robbery and several other incidents that occurred between 1983 and 1987 (including the Bites of 83 and 87). Following his resignation, he faked his death and then changed his name to Willie Barclay, not realizing that there was already a person of the same name living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
After changing his name, he pulled strings and gave his new self the background of a politician and was able to secure finances and gain friendships and connections as far as the US Senate. He wanted to be seen as a smiley faced “southern gentleman” who donated money and who actually cared about people. He did donate money, lots of money, to charities (such as children’s hospital benefits, blood drives, weather disaster recoveries, etc) and such. However, not everyone was fooled by his new disguise. Some knew from the beginning that he had faked his demise and had changed his name. Those who tried to expose him were labeled as conspiracy theorists.
William used his political powers to even influence changes within Fazbear Entertainment, which included the closure of locations deemed loss making or unsafe, the creation of new animatronics (including the rockstar animatronics and the Glamrocks), and the creation of STAFF bots and Fazwatches.
