Everyone in the flipverse knows who Quinn is. Anyone could tell you she's "that lawyer girl that gets mad fast" or "that bitch with a temper", if we go too far. Something barely any people in the flipverse know about is Quinn's (not much of a) habit to do an interview or 'QnA' to various people. Some of these times she has done it in secret, with a phone from somewhere far away where she can call, text and interact with individuals from different fictional universes.
One of the times she can remember vividly is the absolute pain in the ass that it was to interview the Japanese idol Hatsune Miku. As Quinn has once said herself,
-" it was horrible to interview her! Anytime it seemed like we were going somewhere she just went back to a stupid and unimportant 'oh, nothingu, cuz ai'm notto humanu!' with that stupid high-pitched voice she has! " -
Now let's not deviate from the main topic we still haven't said a word about.
Out of all the QnAs Quinn has made to people, about three quarters of them were done to the two entities that had created her and everyone else in the flipverse. Matt Neff and Tony Solary. She doesn't get along with them too well, but she would be able to stand circumstances where she is only with them two.
One of Quinn's most recent interviews has left her overthinking about her decisions every night before bed, and it's not really for a good reason...
INTERVIEW STARTS NOW!
Quinn gets prepared to ask the questions she needs an answer to, obviously within the flipverse limits.
She goes past a few questions and writes every answer on a different piece of paper in case she needs them; after around 3 questions, she decides to ask one that didn't seem very important to her at the moment, but ended up changing her in a way.
- So, why do some customers change their appearances from game to game?- Quinn asks, as she doesn’t expect much of an answer to this. She imagines a short “because customers can change their likings!” but didn’t get that short and simple kind of answer that she was looking for.
- Like in cartoons or movies, characters tend to change over time and we, at Flipline Studios, totally embrace that (…)-
Matt and Tony’s answer wasn’t feeling in any way important to Quinn, but she still wrote down every word of it, until they said this:
(…)The customers are like everyday people, trying out new hairstyles, getting new jobs or dropping everything to pursue a lifelong dre-
Quinn didn’t look okay. She clearly wasn’t okay at all after what Matt and Tony were saying got to her brain. Her hands were shaking a little ,enough so the two interviewed men could notice it, her pencil tip has cracked into tiny pieces and her normally serious face looked slightly more pale than usual.
- Wait a sec, Matt. Quinn,you okay? Did anything happen?- said Tony in a slightly worried tone.
- N-NO..no, I’m fine…thanks for uh..being worried atleast…
Quinn tried to get back on her feet and continue the QnA for her creators. It’s pretty clear that Quinn was lying when she said she was fine.
Okay,time for another question…Why do we Papa Louie characters not have voices..or voicelines?- Quinn kept asking questions until Matt and Tony told her that they could end, since she looked tired and “probably has tons of important stuff to do aside from interview us”
Finally, the QnA has finished. Quinn goes back to her seat in her office and goes to work, or atleast tries to. She’s visibly tired and not in any kind of uniform, just a short sleeve white shirt and long grey pants.
As she goes through her computer searching for the right file to open, she spots an archive named “gift4ufromT.jpg”. She decides to open it out of curiosity since she’s never seen it before and she found a drawing. A drawing of her and Timm eating ice cream at the Scooperia. It wasn’t a very good drawing, but it was signed on the corner. It said “ Ofc you know who I am! Timm :)”
That was what broke the camel's back for Quinn. She unwillingly started to tear up just staring at her computer screen, not doing any work, not doing anything productive. Since she was very tired from having to work most of the day and it was almost 9 PM, she decided to go to sleep to rest for a while. She hopes that one day maybe, just maybe, she can have a well deserved rest and a tad bit of conformity with her own work.
