Haruka's pov:

"hey airi" I asked airi as she went to the kitchen at our shared More More house. It isn't that big, but it's really special to us. Of course, this house is used for our idol activities

"Yea?"

I asked again "Do you know how to bake sugar cookies?"

"Well... What do you need them for?" Airi replied as she continued cooking dinner for the whole MORE MORE JUMP

"Well it's nothing big actually" I stayed silent. Valentine is near and I want to get Airi something good for her. But I'm not really that good at cooking or baking. Plus, I want it as a secret too. Well maybe I should prepare some extra gifts just in case minori or shizuku would be jealous

"... Ah, it's for valentines isn't it? Who is it for?" She replied with a bit of smirk in her face

"Well yes, but I'm not telling you. Just in case you'll get jealous~" I giggled, slightly teasing her. Even though I was actually about to give it to her.

"I don't get jealous often okay? Well maybe I tend to but you know, Happy Everyday never gets jealous!"

"Even if it's with popularity?~"

"Hey hey, an idols job are to spread hope. Not to gain some popularity. Well maybe it is important too so that we can reach more people, but that doesn't matter!" She pouted. Hehe, her pout is so cute.

"Whatever, I'll help you. But don't try to mess with me" she continued pouting before then grabbed the ingredients.

"First of all, I'll preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit or 190 degrees Celsius. And you'll stir flour, baking soda, and baking powder together in a small bowl"

"Got it" I did as she said. Stirring the flour, baking soda, and baking powder in a small bowl. It was a bowl that one of our fans gave us.

"You're doing wrongly sweetheart— I mean, Haruka. I'll help you with that"

Sweetheart? Did she just called me that? Whatever, let's just focus

Airi then held my hand and guided me to stir it "there. That way it'll blend even better"

I smiled slightly at her "you're actually good at this huh? Turns out our tsundere Airi can cook too"

"Shut up"

Airi then stirred confectioners' sugar and milk until smooth, then added corn syrup and extract.

"Are you making the frosting?" I asked

"Yeah. Now could you beat the sugar and butter together?"

I nodded and did as I told. I put in them both in an electric mixer. Then, I slowly pour the flour mixture in.

"Good. Roll dough into walnut-sized balls and place them onto ungreased baking sheets. I'll put it in the oven for you"

I then rolled the dough into a small sphere and placed them as I told. It was quite fun to cook with her like this. And teasing her like this is quite fun too~

a few minutes later

"and now, we're finished..." Airi sighed as she grabbed one of the cookies "they looked quite cute huh? With these heart-shaped frostings..."

"mhm. Thank you, Airi. It's nice to do some activities like this once in a while. also..." I then grabbed some of the cookies into a plastic bag, tied the end of it with a pink ribbon "here you go Airi"

"You're giving it to me? I thought you'd be giving it to someone else like minori or something but..." She stayed quiet for a while "wait, doesn't that mean..."

"Mhm, I love you Airi"

Airi's face went from a confused one to a full tomato blush. Hehe, it's kind of cute to see her like this. I want to punch her soft cheeks by how cute she is.

"... I love you too..."

"Hehe, what did you say sweetheart? I can't hear you" I replied

"I said I love you okay? Now are we not going to try them?" She pouted and opened the plastic bag, grabbing one of the sugar cookies.

"Sure" I them took a bite of it and

"... Hold up, why is it salty?"

Notes:

Also this is based on a real recipe so if you want to try it out, go ahead
