Work Text:
After Wednesday managed to save the entire school, it was undeniable that she gained thousands of admirers. Her mysterious ways caught the attention of boys and girls all over the school.
But they could never have imagined that the school's killer girl was in a romantic relationship. Ever since the first time Wednesday met Kent, she had felt something different about him. Maybe it was because he reminded her a lot of Pugsley with his absent-minded ways, or maybe his bright smile. She had a lot to say about the young siren, but the main thing was that he loved her. Even though she was an Addams, something that would scare a lot of people. He didn't mind her somewhat dark way of seeing things. He actually liked it.
However, Wednesday thought it was better to keep the relationship a secret. Her biggest fear was that one of her enemies would use her feelings for Kent as a kind of trap to get revenge on her. Even though she knew that Kent knew how to defend himself, she didn't want to put him in a risky situation. Not since Crackstone. When she found out that the siren was okay, she felt lighter and a relief passed through her body.
Their secret would have remained a secret if it weren't for Kent's slight jealousy. Most of the time, he was a quiet guy who avoided making a scene and could easily go unnoticed.
But Xavier had already exhausted his patience a long time ago. During breakfast, everyone was eating together as usual. Kent was sitting between Divina and Bianca, while Wednesday was sitting between Enid and Eugene. They were talking about something related to the lycanthropy class. Enid was excited, talking with her mouth full, and Wednesday rolled her eyes at the situation, which she found inelegant, but she would never say it out loud, knowing how sensitive her roommate is.
— Hey, Wednesday — Xavier approached with a smug smile on his face, catching the attention of everyone at the table who quickly fell silent, the young woman just nodded clearly not in the mood to talk to the artist, he just coughed a little before continuing, not understanding the silent signal Wednesday tried to give him — I got some tickets to a horror movie, I thought you'd like to go with me — he smiled quickly leaning on the shoulder of the shorter girl who pushed his hand away from her, a fire appeared in Kent's stomach who seemed uncomfortable in the chair which drew his twin's attention to the situation, the long-haired boy shifted a little restlessly as he watched the scene — I'm not in the mood — while Xavier's smile diminished Kent's grew, as if he was proud of the rejection the boy had received. — Well, I wanted to go on a date with you — the boy insisted, seemingly not knowing how to take a no. When he touched Addams again, something broke inside Kent. Maybe it was his shame and self-control that had abandoned him when he saw the boy touching his girl. In the blink of an eye, the young man was already holding the psychic's hand, having almost teleported to the other side of the table.
— She already dumped you, man. Use what little dignity you have left and leave — the siren aggressively threw Xavier's arm hard, removing it from Addams' shoulder. She was looking at her boyfriend with a discreet smile. Only Enid, who had gotten used to her roommate's tiny impressions, ended up noticing, becoming very confused about why Wednesday Addams would have been happy with such a display of possessiveness from the boy, who, as far as the blonde knew, had nothing to do with the brunette. — I'm not talking to you, Kent — Xavier pushed him, trying to start some kind of fight — besides, you have nothing to do with this — they hadn't talked about it and maybe it was wrong of Kent, but he couldn't take it anymore, he didn't want to be just another secret in Wednesday's life, he wanted to tell the world how much he loved the girl.
— Yes, it's my business why you're hitting on MY girlfriend — he emphasized the "my" part, going over to Xavier, placing his index finger on the artist's chest who laughed at his statement — Mon cher — a small smile appeared on the young woman's face as she whispered the nickname she gave the boy, maybe the Addams family curse got to her in some way and seeing the boy fighting for her was terrifyingly good, maybe her mother was right, love appears in unusual ways and warms our souls.
After that, many at school were surprised just by imagining Wednesday Addams dating young Kent. Of course, there was a lot of questioning from their friends, but nothing that both of them couldn't answer calmly. Now they were officially one of the Nevermore couples.
