The day had been perfect, from the morning when they could just relax to now in the evening, Kazuya thinks as he's placing their dessert in front of Jo. Taking a spoon of the chocolate mouse, Jo’s face lights up at the taste. One of the perks of having had the day off is that Kazuya had time to make dinner himself, letting him put all his love into it.
As they settle down in their living room afterwards, Kazuya relaxes into Jo's embrace. The older always showering him with affection when they're alone, the tsundere act gone, it's the only time he fully lets it go. It's the same thing for Kazuya, he will always be a bit more playful with his affection when around others. Maybe it's because they're idols, hiding your relationship and soulmark is normal and it has become their way of doing it.
"Kazuya?" Jo says, pulling away from Kazuya a bit, looking him in the eyes.
"Mmm"
"We've officially been together for six years now and I thought that maybe it's time to take the next step." Jo starts before getting off the sofa and kneels down on one leg on the floor, pulling out a box from his pocket before continuing.
"So, will you marry me?" He continues while opening the box, showing him the ring inside it. Kazuya can't believe his eyes. They're both romantics at heart, but since Jo never been one to show it to others, he didn't expect him to do something like this.
"Y-yes!" He finally manages to say after a while, emotions overwhelming him. Jo takes the ring and puts it on his finger before hugging him. Then Jo pulls away a little from Kazuya and puts his hand on the other’s cheek.
“I promise that I’ll make you happy.”
“You already do.” Kazuya tells him, making Jo pull him into a gentle kiss.
