Work Text:

The night was cool as Y/N and Matteo walked back to the car, their fingers entwined after a delightful evening out. The laughter echoed in the air as they approached Y/N's car, ready to wrap up the night.

As they reached the car, Y/N fumbled for her keys, eager to get inside and continue the warmth of the night. However, as she tried to open the door, it wouldn't budge. Perplexed, she looked at Matteo, who was trying hard to suppress a mischievous grin.

Y/N raised an eyebrow. "Did you child lock my door?"

Matteo couldn't hold back his smirk, and he winked playfully. "I'm a gentleman," he replied, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

Y/N sighed, rolling her eyes at Matteo's antics. "Seriously? Child locks?"

He chuckled and gracefully exited the car on his side. With a playful flourish, he jogged around to her side, looking like a knight in shining armor. Opening the door with a dramatic flair, he extended his hand towards her.

"Allow me, my lady," Matteo said, grinning.

Y/N chuckled, taking his hand as she stepped out of the car. "You're ridiculous, you know that?"

"I prefer charming," he teased, still holding onto her hand.

They stood there for a moment, Matteo looking at her with a smug grin, and Y/N shaking her head but unable to hide a small smile. "Like i said Gentleman," he repeated.

Y/N sighed, feigning exasperation. "Whatever."

Matteo continued to grin, savoring the playful banter between them. As they walked away from the car, hand in hand, Matteo couldn't help but feel a warmth in his heart. Maybe he was a bit over the top, but seeing Y/N's eyes light up with amusement made it all worthwhile.

They continued their journey down the street, laughter echoing in the night, grateful for the shared moments that made their relationship special.
