Chapter I: A Glimpse of Salvation
"Kirmhilde Pita, Welcome to the family. You will be our family's doctor and represent the family in an honorable way. But, you will only treat who we tell you to treat. But if you break any rules, you will get a harsh punishment, said Sunday as he inducted you into the family as a doctor. "I promise to devote myself as a doctor of the family and represent the family in an honorable way", Kirmhilde said as she got a new set of fancy clothes from Sunday, which was a fancy blue and white dress with a belt with poisons, and a blue and gold cape with a drape from the dress with white tights and boots. An hour later, kirmhilde was all dressed up in her new clothes, and went down to the infirmary of the halls of the family, getting ready to work with healing an injured security guard of the family. You put your black-indigo hair in a ponytail. "so, what's the injury today patient?" you asked the security guard. "....ugh...a burn." said the security guard as he winced at the burn injury on the arm he touched. "okay, just lay down and let me do my magic", she said to the guard. As he did that, she used your healing powers from the path of preservation to heal him. As it worked, the guard opened his eyes slowly and touched the now-healed skin that used to be the burn mark. "H-how did you do that?" he asked her. "Don't worry about it, I'm glad you're okay," she said to him. "Robin, Sunday, I did my first patient!", she said to them after the security went to do his job.
"Good job doctor. Looks like you seem like a loyal asset to us", Sunday said in a gentle but sinister manner, his golden eyes revealing a sinister gleam to them. To him, you were not a person, or dreamer with choices, or feelings, but something to be used and thrown away. It hurt, but you sucked up your feelings and gave Sunday a smile and said, "Thank you", you said to him with a curt smile, hiding your feelings of hurt inside. After all, it was her first day and she wanted to impress the family. "that healing skill of yours is amazing!" said Robin with a warm smile. "and nice to meet you, I'm Robin, a singer, and Sundays the head of the family. And you're Kirmhilde, correct?" she asked her. "it is, names Kirmhilde. Nice to meet you." she said, her dark blue eyes showing a rather tried, calm expression and her rough-deep voice hiding your nervousness. "you should get ready for dinner now, it's in an hour. It's also five pm." said Sunday.
After you three all dressed up, you wore the same clothes you wore earlier and sat at the table, sitting with the family and the cult members, and their children, with a masked fool at the center of the table, his mask hiding his inscrutable gaze as he shifted his attention from the children to her. "I've heard of you, doctor. Kirmhilde, is it? they asked her. "yes." she said politely, drinking your wine. "Cheers to a new era of Salvation!" Robin said as she toasted to the new era and clinked the glasses of Kirmhilde and the other adult cult members. After, she sang for the dinner, and you clapped. To everyone else, the song was amazing and promised a new era. But to you, it was a haunting melody of the panicked voices of those in nightmare realms, and the voice of the "fire wanderer" or Jiraiya Crow, who was the emanator of destruction, and the beacon of light in Penacony who saved those in the nightmare realms, and her crimson-dark pink eyes would haunt her forever, and remind her of the dark side of the family...
