3:48 AM.
Sam stared into the dirty bathroom mirror, gripping both sides of the bathroom sink like his life depended on it. The smell of Grimbus' rotting corpse still lingered in the air, making him slightly nauseous, although they got rid of him weeks ago.
He was a mess. His hair was clearly unkempt, he looked like he hasn't slept or washed his hair in days. I mean, who would want to wash themselves in a bathtub that had a dead body in it.
Aside from that, his girlfriend – more like ex – was back. Yuki, she was back and was standing right next to him, or floating, he couldn't tell. The bunny boy felt cold next to her.
Her appearance was definitely worse than his. Half of her head was basically missing, exposing her brain to the outside world. Her white bow was now a dirty red color and her hair wasn't as vibrant as before. It was quite sickening examining her. Every single white thing on her was now a brown or a tone of red, and although her face was blurry, he could tell that she was staring intently at him in the mirror.
"Did you miss me, Sam?" Her voice was honeyed and unnerving, even for him.
Sam gulped, his palms turning white from how hard he was gripping the bathroom sink. He felt his heart pounding in his chest.
"Get the fuck away from me.." he managed to mutter out clear enough, trying to not wake up his roommate.
"My beloved rabbit, what will you do when I'm not by your side?" She questioned, but it felt more like mocking.
Sam felt his shoulders tense as he stared back at her. He felt as if his heart was gonna burst out of his chest at this rate.
"I'm the only one that truly understands you."
Shut up.
"I'm the only one who keeps you company after everything."
Shut the fuck up..
"I know you still love me, Sam"
"SHUT UP!" The rabbit shouted, now hunched over the sink and looking down, gripping at his own greasy hair. Sam didn't notice he was hyperventilating until now, fighting back tears.
Before the brunet could say anything else, the ghost girl disappeared.
