It was all over; the Disventure Camp All-Stars season was over and the 3 million dollar winner was Riya. The uneasy partnership between the other 2 finalists Ally and Jake broke down when they ended up disagreeing during the semi-final challenge and it led to Jake being the one who was eliminated. Despite what Connor had said to them about making sure that Riya didn't win the money in the end: the Hollywood like story of the two rivals putting aside their differences to form a truce to take down the master manipulator villain and gain more of a friendship and respect crashed and burned.
Their helpers Miriam and Hunter could only do so much...
Ally played well in the final challenge and maybe because it was the pressure, the distraction of how it ended with Jake or maybe Riya was just better but it didn't matter in the end.
With Alec as her helper; Riya grinned as she waved to the cameras with Alec at her side and it looked like they were going to be something more after all which would be crushing to Connor. The Villain's Alliance were at her side (sans Yul) as Riya was given the 3 million dollars by Kristal and the other contestants were either dejected, glaring or giving polite claps. Gabby was there with the Alliance hand in hand with Ellie.
"After all that..." sighed Ashley shaking her head sadly as Jake frowned not happy about this turn of events as Ally was being consoled by Hunter and Tess and Miriam was patting Jake on the back comfortingly.
Aiden and Connor were clearly the most crushed by this and Jake went up to them saying "you guys feeling alright..."
"Leave me alone Jake! Most of this is your fault; you know!" snapped Aiden taking Jake by surprise as he ran away with a huff as Jake stared at him.
"Looks like he needs a minute... Can you believe him... I mean I tried to work with Ally..." Jake whispered to Connor shaking his head only for his hand to be slapped away by Connor.
"Get away from me Jake... I really thought you and Ally would put their differences aside but I was clearly asking too much of the both of you... Especially you Jake!" Connor snapped angrily as he went stormed off with his crutches taking Jake by surprise and Ashley and Miriam went up to him as Jake was looking on feeling hurt and saddened by this. He caught a glare from Ally when he looked her way.
"Leave them be for now; this is a difficult time for especially them as of all people who wanted that villain to not win..." Miriam consoled Jake but he then spotted Tom off to the side of a tree with his arms crossed as he went up to him.
"Tom! You think that you and I can have that talk now?" Jake asked catching his attention as Tom was frowning but was silent. "Come on Tom please... If you need some time after what just happened... Just tell me..." Jake pleaded as Tom sighed sadly.
"Listen Jake... You clearly have issues and I do hope you get better and for the best of you... Go see a therapist and... It's for the best of us that we don't talk to eachother..." Tom told him as Jake's eyes widened at this.
"What? How could you say this... We can talk it out more if you need some more time..." Jake asked as Tom shook his head.
"Listen Jake... Go get some help; talk to the people that care about you and go and become a better you once you have sorted out your issues... I do hope for the best for you..." Tom then said starting to walk away as Jake then grabbed his wrist.
Jake then angrily asked "what... Become a better version of myself... Is the current version of me unpleasant..."
"YES JAKE!" Tom retorted angrily with a shout that caught Jake by surprise as he stood still. "Jake... I know I share blame for ghosting you for these years but... Listen; you can be really petty, short sighted and selfish... So many times you make the same mistakes and how you treat other people... Like Ally and Aiden... All because you were jealous... At the Motel I was able to look at footage from episodes and... You got James kicked off first out of pure petty jealousy!" Tom said as Jake tried to find any excuse to explain himself but he had none.
"You continued to focus on your petty streak with Ally and Aiden!" Tom said as Jake got annoyed.
"She left me for death in a bear cave!" Jake said as Tom sighed.
"That was messed up; trust me I don't blame you for harbouring a grudge after that and how she played but... Connor wanted you to work together and get out RIya the most dangerous but you focused on a grudge and then became snippy with Connor when he tried to talk some sense into you... Trust me Jake this is the best for the both of us... Because I don't think that I want to be around the person you are right now... Maybe we can start over as friends once you have matured and gotten better but..." Tom then then replied and Jake was silent as he walked away.
It was months later Jake did start going to see a therapist and it was going good; he was in contact with Ashley and he had Miriam with him which was well because it seemed that a lot of the other contestants shared Tom's sentiment and didn't want him as a friend.
Plus the reaction from the fans and viewers... Jake took solace in knowing that he wasn't as unpopular as Yul by a long shot but people found him and his attitude... Well Ally did seem to fix her reputation and fixed her relationship issues with Hunter so good for her.
But Rita... She was still a movie star and it seemed that the fanbase didn't mind that the manipulative mean bitch had won. So many social media comments and reactions stanning a 'villainous queen' or something along the lines which showed the kind of people that loved these kinds of reality shows. Seemed that she did get with Alec and the man was talking with his ex-wife and becoming amicable with her so good for them they guess... There were social media posts of Riya and Alec having a day out with Alec's son Daniel and there were double dates with Ellie and Gabby.
The universe must loved being ironic because somehow someway Alec managed to fix his friendship with Ellie after what happened in that first season.
Still Tom was doing good from what he heard and he had gotten a boyfriend; a real one and he managed to let it go and not be petty over it. So yes he was making progress.
