Sawyer Davis grew up in a messy household, with more siblings than they can count on one hand. Bearing the responsibility of being the third parent to 7 siblings, 3 of which are older than them. Due to the stress of it, you can get how they get their temper but also see the caring nature they have from time to time.
Their parents dont have enough money to raise all of them, so Sawyer put matters into their own hands, doing anything for profit. Whether it be pickpocketing, selling products or sometimes sexual services.
Sawyer was often called a princess due to their looks, their curly, red hair is something all their siblings have, but they were blessed with a conventionally attractive face that easily charmed others. They take pride in that fact and became a little self obsessed with looks.
On a random day, they met a person named Cyrus. An anxious looking guy with a rosary in their hand most of the times. Sawyer was never into religion nor believed in it, but after their encounter with Cyrus they got curious about it.
The longer their encounters, the more their friendship blossomed. Sawyer learned to appreciate religion, even if they dont necessarily believe in a deity, they try to be inclusive with different religions.
Cyrus Eacker was a shy child, the pushover type. Even so, they were incredibly loved by their brother, Claus. They were taken care of by him their whole life, to the point where they kind of have a too close relationship as siblings. In their eyes they saw him as the most important person in the world, even more than themself.
Cyrus tried to be like the older brother they found dear. Copying his movements, how he dressed and his speach. Their parents thought it was "unladylike" for the young teen to act that way. Getting into fights and skipping class was something Claus stopped them after they had tried. They were easy to follow his orders, but due to the immense guilt of misbehaving they seeked out ways to repent.
Religion first became that, a way to apologize for their wrongdoings, but slowly, it was a way they coped with anything. Treating it as second to Claus, but still important in their life. They learned to follow alot of the holy book's teachings, took religious studies in college to understand people's religions and decide what they truly believed in.
After college they isolated themself socially, leaving their brother and a few friends. After getting an unexpected knock on their door, opening it up to a beautiful.... Woman? Man? Whatever they were, Cyrus knew they were an angel.
Persuaded by their beauty they might have bought many things from them, trying to strike up conversations outside of just their job. Attempted flirting that turns to being the one flustered by Sawyer's charisma. They start having a deep infatuation with this guy, but theyre left to wonder if its love or if its the same obsession with their brother and god.
