Chapter Text
In a world where aliens take over the universe, herding humans as a means of amusement, to hear sounds that they, themselves, can't produce. Humans here are as low as pets, something as an accessory, a display at the background.
Anakt Garden. A ground, a place, simply to just raise human kids for the entertainment of aliens. The breeding ground for idols.
Children come in daily, in small little boxes, all dolled up, in cute white clothes with frills and laces, for the picking. When chosen, are put in training to be the perfect idol; the perfect form of relaxation; the perfect entertainment.
Children are trapped in rooms made to look like an outside area with trees, the sky and waters. All forced to get along with each other and befriend each other. All unaware of their future predicaments.
Batch 146 includes 15 children. Potential candidates to win the next alien stage are Wednesday from the alien family that has the most authority currently: The Addams. Enid from the side group of The Werewolves; The Sinclairs. Ajax from the respectful group of aliens : The Petropolus. Yoko from the aging group of aliens : The Tanakas. Divina and Bianca, each from a different division of the largest group of aliens ; The Sirens.
They've all shown quick progress between training 265 and training 284. The one most likely based on logistics and current abilities is Wednesday. She's currently the slowest growing human there and most likely to stay youthful longer. Her progress regarding her singing abilities went from level 12 to a level 24. A close second would be the child from The Sinclairs, Enid. She's just under Wednesday in terms of abilities and is currently level 21.
The lowest thus far is a human pet from the slowly dying out group : The Thropes. They've lost the alien stages for decades, slowly gaining negative responses from their applicants. The Xavier human is not bad however is only on level 15 regarding his singing abilities. His growth is increasing exponentially however his personality draws people towards him.
Well the Alien stage, no: 146, doesn't rely on logistics, it relies on luck, skills and faith.
If there is hope, there's a will. Is there such thing as a god?

“Wednesday! Wednesday! Look at this!”
A cheerful sounding voice cuts through silence, belonging to a girl with short blond hair, around the age of 7 and holding a mechanical fish near
The fake river.
A girl donning black hair slowly walks towards her, with an expressionless face, she says,
“You caught something again, congrats.”
Despite the monotonous sound, the girl with the blond hair smiles brightly. She rushes over to show Wednesday her catch of the day. The metal of the fake fish moves, flopping as if it’s a real fish. It’s cold to the touch and yet it still warms Wednesday’s heart, the notion of dailywwwcatches then showcasing to her touches her deeply.
The sounds of more children grow louder and louder. A group of children comes closer to the pair, joining them in their conversation.
“Yoko!”
The blond girl comes running towards another black haired girl , tackling her into a bear hug. The girl hugs just as tight and stays there until pulled apart by a brunette who had linked arms with the girl before the hug.
“Enid!”
“Yoko!”
“Enid!”
“Stop it you two”
A dark skinned girl interrupts the interaction and crosses her arms, shifting her weight to one leg. A small boy timidly stands near wednesday, not wanting to be caught in the crossfire.
“Dreadful day I assume Eugene?”
Wednesday talks to the timid boy, receiving a smile in return
“If by dreadful you mean good then yea, I guess so”
“Yoo what up beanie guy”
Yoko addresses the boy arriving behind her, donning a white beanie.
“You know my name Yoko”
With a joking disappointment tone, followed up by a sigh.
“Eh do I?’
Yoko teases, hoping for a more satisfactory response or reaction. Annoyed, the boy replies back to her in a tone that shows his emotions.
“Yes you do.”
“Yoko just say Ajax”
Yoko sighs and pouts
“Fine, but only because you're my only hope in this group Divina.
Divina smiles while Bianca eyes wednesday, wondering whether to talk to her or not. With much built courage she strides up to wednesday and strikes up a conversation while Enid, Yoko, Divina and Ajax talk to each other.
Soon after, Kent, a human pet from the same division as Divina, comes by, and joins in conversation. The two conversations then merge into one as they keep talking, with Enid and wednesday standing mext to esch other.
While they're talking, a big stands behind the metal tree, eyeing them. He sighs in longing, wanting to be friends with a certain girl within the group, then turns back to his drawing paper, with a pencil in hand he starts drawing.

A loud horn silences the large room. All 15 children gather in one place to start their daily practicem all lined up in a row as an alien assesses each one of them. Thoroughly inspecting each and everyone to the bone, writing language unreadable on a clipboard.
Wednesday stands first in line, Enid second, and the line goes on. When the inspection was finished, it slowly goes away, the door instantly closed behind it. The children are then, one by one, escorted by two big aliens to a room where they get tested on, strapped into chairs while they're forced to scream as loud as they can for their voice pitch, hold their breath for as long as they can and more. All just to categorize each individual of their scoring. And make future plans using data earned.
Songs are then taught to the children with a sheet of music paper and lyrics, all produced by previous alien stage members before they got eliminated. Voices harmonize and overpower others, an orchestra of children with high pitched voices with their child-like youth, a melody composed of 15 children.
