Chapter Text
Hello everyone, I just came to quickly say a few things before we start our story. This fanfic takes place in an alternate universe that was created in the previous story that was about Daemon and Alicent. So everything that happened there ends up having an impact here. However, you don't need to read the other one to understand anything here. It's not mandatory, except that below I'll give a brief summary of what happened for those who don't want to read it.
Summary:
— Alicent kills herself in front of Daemon after declaring her love for him, and he makes a deal with the goddesses Balerion, Meleys and Dreamfyre of ancient Valyria and goes back in time because he also loved Alicent.
— Daemon tries to save Aemma Arryn but fails, and she gives birth to a daughter who survives despite the adversities and is called Daella. Rhaenyra sees everything that happened when her mother died and hates her father. Later, Daemon travels to the Vale and divorces Rhea Royce.
— Aemon, Rhaenyra's uncle, decides to take care of the child born with his niece. Daemon begins to invest in staying with Alicent
— With 2 daughters and no heirs, the lords want Daemon or Aemon on the throne, but Viserys still tries to put his daughter in the game, but without success. Rhaenyra begins to plot her own plans to take the throne
— Daemon gives Alicent a collection of rare books about Valyria as proof of a courtship and the two kiss for the first time. Aemon takes Rhaenyra for a walk around King's Landing and the girl's ambition for the throne grows
— Otto Hightower tells Alicent to go visit Viserys and win the king's heart. She pretends to go, but in fact she surrenders herself to Daemon at once. Later, the prince has to travel to the steps at the request of Corlys Velaryon.
— Rhaenyra and Alicent travel to Dorne because the princess managed to be invited by the ruler there to reach an agreement. If she succeeds, Nyra will have great support when she assumes the throne. Alicent tells her everything that is happening in her life before they travel.
— During the trip, the girls study books on Valyrian politics and Nyra is inspired by this to negotiate with Dorne. Daemon decides to use his knowledge from the afterlife to end the war on the Stepstones early and hand everything over to Corlys.
— In Dorne, Nyra establishes a greater friendship with Princess Brianna, and a strong bond with her cousin, Annelise. The Martells make their own plans for that meeting, aiming at their own benefits
— Nyra will marry Brianna's brother, Maron, and the princess offers to kill Nyra's father so that she can reach the throne faster, but Nyra does not respond yet. Daemon ends the war on the steps and travels to Dorne after Alicent, determined to get married. Nyra and Harwin Strong form a small bond
— Alicent and Daemon meet again and while they catch up, Nyra gets closer to Maron and receives news from the capital from her uncle Aemon, who is also engaged to a Tyrell. With everyone leaving Dorne, Daemon and Alicent head to Dragonstone and are married there in the Valyrian tradition
— Everyone arrives at King's Landing, and the newlyweds are immediately arrested by order of Otto and Viserys, who reveals that he would marry Alicent as soon as she returned from Dorne, and gets angry with Daemon for having married her earlier. It was an agreement made with House Hightower
— Days pass and Nyra and Daemon are unable to free Alicent from the clutches of her own father, who keeps her in a tower with little food or water and has beaten her many times. Nyra decides to use the Martell proposal, but the target would be Otto. Meanwhile, the god Caraxes appears to Alicent, who sells King Viserys' soul in exchange for freedom. After that, the god erases her memory.
— Annelise, who is a poison expert, kills Otto Hightower. We see that she was the heir to Starfall, the seat of House Dayne, but that Brianna's father had his own goals for his niece and took that away from her. Daemon discovers Alicent's pregnancy during an examination after her captivity. He promises that if it is one of her children from her other life, he will take good care of them.
— Daemon, Aemon, and Rhaenyra reach an agreement to marry their three bloodlines to avoid future conflicts or that the lords would pit their children against each other. Even with Rhaenyra marrying a Martell, there is still opposition to her rule. Aemon also reveals that he will go to Highgarden and will not be able to be Nyra's queen's hand.
— Nyra's wedding arrives, and she and Harwin exchange kisses before the ceremony, but the princess controls herself because she knows that her duties come before love. During the jousts in honor of the wedding, Viserys decides to fight to show the power of a king, but the god Caraxes arrives to collect his soul, but not before showing all the misfortune that Viserys' decisions caused him in the afterlife
— With the death of her father, Rhaenyra ascends to the throne with the help of her uncles, naming Annelise as her hand of the queen and with her deciding the entire new small council of her reign. Which also includes Alicent and Daemon.
— Maron and Annelise had a relationship that the Dornishwoman decides to end after her appointment as a sacrifice for her duties, which makes Rhaenyra want to distance herself from Harwin for a while and, like Maron, focus on making the marriage work, because that was where the base of her support began.
— Alicent gives birth to Aemond, and then Rhaenyra gives birth to Aegon, the goddess Balerion visits Daemon once again and makes predictions for the future of the children already born, including Daella, Aemma's daughter. Soon after, Alicent gives birth to Helaena.
And that's it, our current story will jump 19 years into the future, now let's see which children were born in that time in the next chapter.
