Painful realization hits Joseph Tribbiani on a rainy Wednesday afternoon , it does; it's a shame he doesn't realize the whole truth

Work Text:

Painful realization hits Joseph Tribbiani on a rainy Wednesday afternoon

His roommate, Chandler, sleeps pleasantly on the chair next to him; too tired from working a full time shift at a job he doesn't even like (and joey can't understand) and too lazy to even pay attention fully to the shitty T.V.  Shows they both pretend to like just to keep each other company; his long lashes cast shadows over his soft cheeks and his lips are slightly parted, wet and pink and inviting in a way Joey isn't sure he understands.

The slow rise and fall of his chest has him hypnotized and eager to reach out his hand in a desperate attempt to...

He's not sure what is he trying to do, really.

That day, he retreats clumsily back to his room, walking backwards and bumping against the entertainment unit and against the door, eyes wide open and a bad tummy ache that follows him all day or till his roommate  finally takes pity on him at around 11pm, probably not wanting to humor his weird behavior till then

"you ok Joe?"

The words leave Chandler's oh so kissable lips as he places a burning hot hand on Joeys shoulder, it's warm and soft and comforting just like Chandler is (even if he pretends it's not true) and Joey wonders how exactly would those hands feel cradling his cheeks when they kiss, tangling their fingers on his hair, pulling, running their perfectly trimmed nails down his back while he pushes inside him slowly

Joey wonders....if he's taking absolutely too long to answer and he smiles sideways

"cool..." he squeaks out in the highest possible tone he can adopt before gulping and correcting his demeanor

"yes, I'm cool..." he gathers all his strength and turns back to stare at Chandler nonchalantly their eyes meeting as soon as he does so. A shadow of something flashes in the older man's eyes and Joey's own gaze flickers down instinctively to his lips, curved upward slightly in a confused smile, his hand twitching on his shoulder, like he's deciding wether to take it off of Joey or not "are you...?"

Chandler gulps

"Yeah...I'm cool"
"...Cool"

Painful realization hits Joseph Tribbiani that day, it does; it's a shame he doesn't realize the whole truth
