Work Text:
Clarion meets at the border where winter and the warm seasons meet. She smiles when she sees Milori waiting for her. She had snuck away from her duties to see him.
“You must let me braid your hair.” Clarion smiles, she held a basket of flowers in one hand. With the other she reaches out to touch Milori’s hair. It’s soft in her fingers.
“I must?” He raises a brow smiling.
“Yes. Now sit,” she commands playfully. He sits down, she sits down behind him kneeling. She pulls out the hair tie and combs her fingers through Milori’s hair. She sections them off beginning to braid his hair adding in flowers she had gathered. Periwinkle, Forget-me-nots, and Bellflowers. She looks back to admire her work.
“How does it look?” he asked, looking up at her.
“It looks wonderful,” she smiled, she leaned down and kissed him.
“You should let me return the favor.” He smiled up at her, she sat down and let him braid her hair. He undoes her bun, combing her hair with his fingers. He sections it off and begins to braid it. He intertwines holly into the braid. He sits back and admires his work.
“How does it look?” she turned to look back at him.
“It looks perfect,” he smiled. She leans in to kiss him.
“Thank you.”
