The crowd was waiting for Uzi to come out on a stage, while she was behind the curtain. She was very nervous seeing N, V, J, Khan and Doll.
"We can do this!" Doll said to everyone, and then turned to Uzi. "You will make a speech, and then we will tell the result of the ultimatum, alright?"
Uzi was hesitating a lot, with papers in he hands trembling severely. But she regained her confidence and sighed. "Okay, I am ready." All of them left the curtain, being praised by the huge crowd of people and drones.
Uzi came to the microphone and put on a little table already prepared text, which she was ready to read, but was waiting for the crowd to calm down. When it happened, Uzi started reading what was written on those papers:
"Dear family! Five years ago, living in a dire situation, the leadership of our nation, meaning, I received the demand to recover the nation and work for it, or else the new leader will be chosen. In those five years, to save our nation, many sacrifices were forced to be made, and many of you disliked that. However, according to our latest study, it has been confirmed that the economic fall has completely stopped, and it's not only the work of me, it's not only the work of the government. Every hit with a hammer in a factory, every grown plant in the field, every paid tax... Everything above is done by you, citizens of our glorious nation! And all of your efforts have helped us all to recover! And the equality, propagated by Tessa, showed its strength during this hard time! With her ideations, we grew strong, and with the collapse of Cyn's personality cult, we could set ourselves free! To build up this world, where we live right now! With our beloved American Union becoming stronger, I am ready to hear the fate of the president of people and drones."
Everyone was staying quiet, as V prepared her microphone and her words. With everything done, she began the moment of truth:
"Uzi Doorman! Remembering your love towards the American Union, and your efforts for its prosperity, the ultimatum, given five years ago, expired. However, we have seen how hard you have been working, and after a long time of calculating, we are ready to announce," she stopped for a moment to change the paper. "Uzi Doorman, the ultimatum given to you has been successfully... fulfilled. You have stopped the American Union from collapsing, and put it back onto a political stage as a superpower. Therefore, your leadership will not be given to someone else. From our side, we want to thank you for what you have done in those five years."
Uzi sighed happily, and looked at people, waving at them, as they were celebrating this victory.
"Uzi...," Doll called her with concern, but she didn't respond. After a few seconds, the fear was seen in Doll's eyes, as she shouted: "Uzi!"
She immediately pushed Uzi... and three shots were heard from the crowd. In a panic, everyone started running away, while Uzi looked at Doll... bleeding with oil, as bullets damaged her severely, laying on the ground.
"Doll!" Uzi shouted in fear. She immediately crouched towards her and took her head. She was smiling weakly.
"It's okay...," Doll quietly responded. Everything was deafening for Uzi. "It's not... your fault..."
"Doll...," Uzi's eyes were filled with pain and tears. N came to them closer, feeling devastated, and sat next to Uzi. "We... We can continue being sisters... right?"
"Right...," Doll responded... before her visor showed "Fatal Error". The damage was irreversible, and Uzi hugged the already dead body of Doll. N hugged both of them, and V joined as well.
"I thought... it wasn't true...," J spoke quietly. Uzi turned towards her, eyes filled with tears as her best friend, partner, and even the one who she considered "a sister" was just laying on her hands, covered in oil. Her expression immediately changed.
"You...," She spoke through sobbing. N, Khan and V turned towards J as well. "You had to warn! It's your duty! Look what happened now! Just... Just kill her!" Uzi ordered and pointed at J with her covered in oil hand, and N stood up and came closer to her, angered, upset and determined. But instead of just killing J, N put handcuffs on her.
"J, you are under arrest for negligence, which led to the death of an important person!" N spoke with his broking voice, which was holding tears, then he turned to Uzi. "If J is alive, she will live in a shame and regret all of her life, being in prison completely alone. It will make her suffer, as she is making citizens... and you."
Uzi nodded and looked back at the not-working body of Doll, hugging her head again and continuing to sob with V comforting her.
2024. The Red World still lives, as well as the memory of Doll, died in a crucial sacrifice, which changed the politics of the nation. Uzi feels completely lonely, and can't get over her loss. Although, N is always here to support her, Uzi cannot cope with what happened more than thirty years ago... Yes, America grows, but... Uzi realized, that she has three hearts... Had three... with now only two beating.
J is still in her prison, while the peaceful period is now above the world... until China changes its policy, and Russia becomes stronger. But it's already the future; the future that will come one day.
