It is summer break at Oceanside! While it's only been a couple of months since the hectic Battle of the Trident, everyone seems to have forgotten the whole ordeal even happened! I mean, with Ruby Gillman protecting her home from nautical monsters and nuisances alike, there’s no need to worry about something like that happening again! However, as much as Ruby would like to spend all her free time fighting threats from the Ocean, she's decided she's gonna spend her summer time relaxing with her friends and family! BUT WHAT’S THAT? NERISSA HAS ESCAPED FROM HER CAGE?! WE ARE ALL DOOMED! But wait! Let’s fret not yet, because Ruby Krakatoa Gillman is on the case! And… while finding “Nerissa” may sound like an easy task in hindsight, the true endeavor of this story might just be a bit more than what our friend Ruby has bargained for. With secrets to unveil, stories to be told, hearts to be healed, wills to be broken, alliances to be made, and battles to be fought, Ruby will stop at nothing to conclude this grand adventure, no matter what stands in her way! For the Ocean will always need a Kraken, and a Kraken will always answer the call!
