Tk strand 15 years old she discover is ex girl friend is pregnant with is baby ! We fallow them along the way of fatherhood!

Chapter Text

Fifteen-year-old TK Strand had always known he was different. He couldn’t pinpoint the exact moment he realized it, but the feeling had been there for as long as he could remember—an inexplicable distance between him and the world around him. Recently, that distance had begun to make sense, as TK came to understand something about himself that felt both terrifying and liberating.

He was gay.

It wasn’t an easy realization to come to, especially in a world where being different could often mean being alone. TK hadn’t told anyone yet, not even his dad, who was always so busy with work. The thought of saying it out loud made TK’s stomach twist into knots. What if people didn’t accept him? What if they didn’t understand?

TK sighed, running a hand through his hair as he sat on the edge of his bed, staring blankly at the wall. His mind was a mess of conflicting thoughts and emotions, each one battling for dominance. He didn’t know how to feel, what to think, or who to turn to.

The knock on his bedroom door startled him out of his thoughts. He quickly wiped at his eyes, though he wasn’t sure why—he hadn’t been crying. He was just… overwhelmed.

“TK? Can I come in?” Aime’s voice filtered through the door, hesitant and unsure.

Aime. His ex-girlfriend.

TK hadn’t expected to hear from her, not after they’d broken up a few weeks ago. It hadn’t been a messy breakup, but it had been awkward, especially for TK, who hadn’t been able to explain the real reason why he’d ended things. He just knew he couldn’t keep pretending to be someone he wasn’t.

“Yeah, sure,” TK called out, trying to sound more casual than he felt.

The door opened, and Aime stepped inside. She looked nervous, her usual confident demeanor absent. That was the first thing that told TK something was wrong. The second was the way she kept wringing her hands together, avoiding his eyes.

“Hey,” TK said, standing up, unsure of what else to say.

“Hey,” Aime echoed, biting her lower lip. She looked around the room as if searching for something to focus on, before finally meeting TK’s gaze. “I… I need to talk to you about something. It’s important.”

TK’s heart began to race. “What’s going on? Are you okay?”

Aime took a deep breath, as if trying to steady herself. “TK, I’m pregnant.”

For a moment, the words didn’t register. TK blinked, staring at Aime as if she’d spoken in a foreign language. “What?”

“I’m pregnant,” Aime repeated, her voice trembling slightly.

The world seemed to tilt sideways, and TK had to sit back down on the bed to keep from collapsing. “How… how is that possible?”

Aime gave him a pained look, and TK immediately felt stupid for asking such a question. Of course, he knew how it was possible, but hearing the words—knowing that it was real—was something else entirely.

“I don’t know what to do, TK,” Aime said, her voice breaking. “I’m so scared. I thought you should know because… well, because it’s yours.”

TK’s head was spinning. He had just started to figure out who he was, and now this—something so monumental, so life-changing—had been thrown into his lap. He felt like he was drowning, struggling to keep his head above water.

“Aime, I…” TK started, but he didn’t know how to finish the sentence. What could he say? What was he supposed to do?

Aime sat down beside him, her eyes pleading. “TK, I don’t know what to do. I didn’t plan this, and I know we’re not together anymore, but I’m terrified. I need to know that you’re going to be there for me… for the baby.”

TK stared at her, the weight of her words pressing down on him like a ton of bricks. He felt a million things all at once—fear, confusion, guilt, and most of all, an overwhelming sense of responsibility. But underneath it all, there was something else too, something that made his chest ache.

He was gay. How was he supposed to be a father?

“I’ll be there,” TK said, though his voice was barely above a whisper. “I don’t know how, but I’ll figure it out. We’ll figure it out together.”

Aime’s relief was palpable, but it didn’t ease the knot of anxiety in TK’s chest. This was uncharted territory for both of them, and TK wasn’t sure how to navigate it. All he knew was that his life had just changed in ways he couldn’t even begin to comprehend.

They sat in silence for a long time, neither of them knowing what to say or do next. TK’s mind was a whirlwind of thoughts, each one more chaotic than the last. He had only just started to come to terms with his sexuality, and now he had to deal with the fact that he was going to be a father, too.

“I’m scared, too,” TK finally admitted, his voice small. “I don’t know how to do this, Aime. I don’t even know who I am anymore.”

Aime reached out, taking his hand in hers. “We’ll figure it out, TK. I don’t have all the answers either, but we’ll figure it out. We have to.”

TK nodded, though he wasn’t sure he believed it. But for now, it was the only thing they could hold onto—the hope that somehow, they would find a way to get through this, together.

As they sat there, hands clasped tightly together, TK realized that he was about to face the biggest challenge of his life. He didn’t know how to be a father, and he wasn’t even sure he was ready to accept who he really was. But he knew one thing for certain: he wasn’t going to run away from this. He couldn’t.

This was his life now, messy and complicated and terrifying. And somehow, he had to find a way to make it work.

**Title: The First Glimpse**

---

The sterile smell of the doctor’s office hit TK the moment they walked through the door, a mix of antiseptic and something he couldn’t quite place. It made his stomach churn, but he pushed the feeling down, focusing on Aime beside him. She looked nervous, her hands fidgeting with the hem of her shirt, and TK could feel her anxiety radiating off her in waves.

“Are you okay?” he asked quietly, though he wasn’t sure if he was asking her or himself.

Aime nodded, but her eyes betrayed her fear. “Yeah, I think so. It’s just… I don’t know, it’s weird to think that in a few minutes, we’re going to see the baby. Our baby.”

The word “baby” still felt foreign to TK, like it didn’t quite belong to him. The reality of the situation was still sinking in, and every new development seemed to add another layer of disbelief. But here they were, about to see the first image of the child they were going to bring into the world.

“I know,” TK murmured, trying to offer her a reassuring smile. “It’s a lot to take in, but we’re doing this together, right?”

“Right,” Aime agreed, squeezing his hand. They hadn’t let go of each other since they walked in, both of them needing the connection to keep from floating away in their own anxieties.

A nurse appeared, calling Aime’s name, and they followed her into the exam room. The walls were a soothing pastel color, and there was a large screen mounted on the wall opposite the exam table. The nurse instructed Aime to lie down, and TK took a seat next to her, his heart pounding in his chest.

“Dr. Shaw will be in shortly,” the nurse said with a kind smile. “Just try to relax.”

Relaxing was easier said than done, but TK tried. He looked over at Aime, who was staring up at the ceiling, her expression a mix of apprehension and anticipation.

“Hey,” TK said softly, leaning in a little closer. “Whatever happens, we’re in this together, okay?”

Aime turned her head to look at him, and for a moment, the fear in her eyes softened. “Okay,” she whispered, reaching out to take his hand again. They both jumped slightly when the door opened and Dr. Shaw walked in, a friendly-looking woman in her forties with a warm smile.

“Good morning, Aime, TK,” Dr. Shaw greeted them, washing her hands at the sink before moving to the ultrasound machine. “How are you feeling today?”

“Nervous,” Aime admitted, her voice trembling slightly.

“That’s completely normal,” Dr. Shaw reassured her. “This is a big moment, but I’m here to guide you through it. We’ll start with the ultrasound, and you’ll get to see your baby for the first time.”

TK swallowed hard, his mouth suddenly dry. He glanced at the screen, then back at Aime, who was watching Dr. Shaw’s every move with wide eyes.

“Alright, Aime, I’m going to apply some gel to your abdomen. It might be a little cold,” Dr. Shaw said as she prepped the equipment.

Aime nodded, bracing herself as the gel was applied. TK could see her muscles tense under her shirt, and he gave her hand another reassuring squeeze.

“Okay, here we go,” Dr. Shaw said as she placed the ultrasound probe on Aime’s abdomen and began to move it gently across her skin.

TK’s breath caught in his throat as the screen flickered to life, displaying a grainy black-and-white image. It was hard to make out at first, just a jumble of shapes and shadows, but then Dr. Shaw adjusted the angle, and there it was—a tiny, fluttering heartbeat.

“There’s your baby,” Dr. Shaw said with a smile, pointing to the screen.

TK stared at the image, his mind struggling to process what he was seeing. That little flicker of movement, that tiny heartbeat—it was real. This wasn’t just some abstract concept anymore; it was their child, growing inside Aime.

“Oh my God,” Aime breathed, her eyes filling with tears. “That’s… that’s our baby?”

“Yep,” Dr. Shaw confirmed, still smiling. “You’re about ten weeks along, so the baby is still very small, but everything looks good so far.”

TK couldn’t tear his eyes away from the screen. The world seemed to narrow down to that single point, the tiny heartbeat that was somehow connected to him in a way he couldn’t fully comprehend. It was overwhelming and terrifying, but also… beautiful.

“Wow,” TK whispered, feeling a lump form in his throat. He hadn’t expected to feel this way, to be so moved by something so small. But here he was, tears pricking at the corners of his eyes as he watched the screen.

Aime turned her head to look at him, her own eyes shining with tears. “TK… this is really happening, isn’t it?”

“Yeah,” TK said, his voice thick with emotion. “It’s really happening.”

They stayed like that for a while, just staring at the screen, holding onto each other as they tried to process the enormity of what they were seeing. For a brief moment, all the fear and uncertainty faded away, replaced by a sense of awe and wonder.

Dr. Shaw printed out a few images for them to take home, then wiped the gel off Aime’s abdomen. “You’re doing great, both of you,” she said kindly. “Remember, it’s normal to feel a lot of different emotions right now. This is a big change, but you’re not alone. We’re here to help you every step of the way.”

“Thank you,” TK managed to say, though his voice was still shaky. Aime echoed his sentiment, looking equally overwhelmed.

As they left the doctor’s office, the ultrasound images clutched in Aime’s hand, TK felt a strange mix of emotions swirling inside him. The fear and uncertainty were still there, but now they were accompanied by something else—hope.

Hope that maybe, just maybe, they could navigate this uncharted territory together.

**Title: A Daughter’s Name**

---

The weeks since Aime’s first ultrasound had been a blur for TK. Life seemed to shift into a strange new rhythm, with doctor’s appointments, whispered conversations about the future, and a growing sense of reality that TK still wasn’t entirely sure how to handle. The knowledge that he was going to be a father hung over him like a weight he couldn’t quite put down, but it was also starting to feel more real—especially now that they were about to find out the baby’s gender.

Aime’s hand was warm in TK’s as they sat in the waiting room, both of them quiet with anticipation. TK’s thoughts were all over the place. He still hadn’t come out to anyone except himself, and with the pregnancy looming over everything, he felt more trapped than ever. But today was about the baby, not him, and he was determined to focus on that.

When the nurse called Aime’s name, they stood up together, walking side by side to the exam room. It was familiar by now, the routine of it almost comforting, though the anxiety never fully went away.

Dr. Shaw greeted them with her usual warm smile as they entered. “How are you two doing today?”

“Nervous,” Aime admitted with a small laugh, glancing at TK. “But excited too.”

“Totally normal,” Dr. Shaw said, setting up the ultrasound machine. “Today we’re going to check in on your baby’s progress, and if the little one is in the right position, we might be able to see if you’re having a boy or a girl.”

TK nodded, his heart beating faster. He hadn’t let himself think too much about the baby’s gender, but now that the moment was here, he couldn’t help but feel a strange mix of excitement and fear. What kind of parent would he be? Would he even be a good one?

Aime settled onto the exam table, and TK took his usual place beside her, holding her hand tightly. The cool gel was applied to her abdomen, and soon the familiar black-and-white image appeared on the screen.

“There’s your baby,” Dr. Shaw said, her tone gentle as she moved the probe across Aime’s belly. The room was filled with the sound of the baby’s heartbeat, steady and strong, and TK felt a lump form in his throat at the sound.

“Everything looks good,” Dr. Shaw continued, her eyes focused on the screen. “Let’s see if we can get a good view of the baby’s position.”

Aime’s grip on TK’s hand tightened as they both stared at the screen, waiting for the moment when Dr. Shaw would make the announcement.

“Ah, there we go,” Dr. Shaw said after a moment, smiling broadly. “It looks like you’re having a little girl.”

TK’s breath caught in his throat. A girl. He was going to have a daughter.

Aime let out a soft gasp, her eyes filling with tears. “A girl?” she whispered, as if she couldn’t quite believe it.

Dr. Shaw nodded, pointing to the screen. “That’s right. Congratulations, you’re having a daughter.”

TK felt a wave of emotions crash over him, so intense that it almost took his breath away. A daughter. Somehow, the knowledge made everything feel even more real, more overwhelming. He had been trying to take things one day at a time, to keep from drowning in the enormity of what was happening, but this… this was different.

He looked over at Aime, who was smiling through her tears, and despite all the confusion and fear that still churned inside him, TK couldn’t help but smile too.

“A daughter,” TK repeated softly, the words feeling both heavy and light at the same time.

Aime turned to him, her eyes shining with happiness. “Can you believe it, TK? We’re going to have a little girl.”

TK nodded, though his mind was still reeling. He didn’t know what to say, how to express everything he was feeling, but he knew one thing for sure—he already loved this baby, this little girl who was growing inside Aime. He hadn’t expected to feel it so strongly, but now that he did, he couldn’t imagine feeling any other way.

As Dr. Shaw printed out the ultrasound images, Aime and TK exchanged a look that said everything they couldn’t put into words. There was still so much uncertainty, so much they didn’t know, but this moment—this was something they could hold onto.

“I guess we need to start thinking about names,” TK said after a while, breaking the silence as they left the doctor’s office.

Aime smiled, wiping at her eyes. “Yeah, I guess we do. Do you have any ideas?”

TK thought for a moment, his mind drifting back to when he was a kid and his mom would tell him stories before bed. There was one name that always stuck with him, a name that felt warm and safe, like a hug.

“Chloe,” he said finally. “What about Chloe?”

Aime’s smile widened, and she nodded. “I love it. Chloe Strand.”

TK’s heart did a little flip at the sound of it. Chloe Strand. His daughter.

As they walked to the car, TK couldn’t help but feel a little lighter. There was still so much he didn’t know, so much that scared him, but this—this was something good. Something that made the future feel a little less terrifying.

And as they drove away from the doctor’s office, the ultrasound images of their daughter tucked safely in Aime’s bag, TK realized that, despite everything, he was looking forward to meeting her.

**Title: Welcome to the World**

---

The hospital room was filled with the muffled sounds of machines beeping and hushed voices as the nurses and doctors moved with practiced efficiency. TK sat in a stiff chair near Aime’s bed, his hands clenched into tight fists on his knees. His heart pounded in his chest, each beat echoing like a drum in his ears.

Aime was in labor.

The past few hours had been a whirlwind, a blur of rushing to the hospital, signing forms, and listening to doctors explain what was happening. TK felt like he was on the outside looking in, watching as the world moved around him at a pace he couldn’t keep up with. Aime had been in pain, gripping his hand so tightly that it hurt, but TK didn’t care. All he could think about was the fact that their daughter—stella —was about to be born.

The reality of it hadn’t fully hit him until they were in the hospital, Aime’s contractions growing stronger and more frequent. This was really happening. They were about to become parents. TK had spent the last nine months trying to prepare himself, but now that the moment was here, he felt utterly unprepared. How could anyone be ready for something like this?

“TK,” Aime’s voice broke through his thoughts, pulling him back to the present. She was panting, sweat glistening on her forehead as she looked at him with wide, fearful eyes. “It’s happening. I can’t— I need—”

“I’m here,” TK said quickly, standing up and taking her hand in his. He felt her squeeze it again, and he squeezed back, trying to offer her some kind of comfort, though he felt just as scared as she did. “You’re doing great, Aime. You’re so strong.”

A nurse appeared beside them, checking the monitors and nodding to herself. “You’re almost there, Aime. Just a little longer, okay? You’re doing amazing.”

Aime nodded, though her eyes were still filled with pain and fear. TK wished he could take some of it away, but all he could do was hold her hand and whisper words of encouragement.

Time seemed to stretch and compress all at once. One minute, Aime was breathing through another contraction, and the next, the doctor was telling her it was time to push. TK felt like he was in a dream, everything around him moving in slow motion as he watched Aime prepare to bring their daughter into the world.

“Okay, Aime,” the doctor said, her voice calm and steady. “On the next contraction, I need you to push, alright? You can do this.”

Aime nodded, gritting her teeth as another contraction hit. She pushed with everything she had, her face contorted with effort. TK held her hand, his heart in his throat, unable to do anything but be there for her.

“That’s it, Aime, you’re doing great,” the doctor encouraged. “Keep going, you’re almost there.”

TK’s mind raced. He couldn’t believe this was really happening. He couldn’t believe that in just a few minutes, he would be holding his daughter. A little girl who was a part of him, a part of Aime. It was terrifying and awe-inspiring all at once.

“TK, I— I can’t—” Aime’s voice was strained, and TK could see the exhaustion in her eyes.

“Yes, you can,” TK said firmly, leaning in closer. “You’re almost there, Aime. Just a little more, okay? You can do this.”

Aime nodded, tears of pain and determination in her eyes as she pushed again. TK felt a surge of emotion, tears pricking at the corners of his own eyes as he watched her fight to bring their daughter into the world.

And then, suddenly, it happened.

“There she is,” the doctor said, her voice filled with warmth. “You did it, Aime. Your daughter is here.”

A small, wailing cry filled the room, and TK’s breath caught in his throat. The sound was tiny, fragile, but it was the most beautiful thing he had ever heard. He looked down and saw the doctor gently lifting a tiny, wriggling baby, covered in the remnants of birth, and TK felt his heart swell with a love so intense it almost knocked him off his feet.

“Do you want to cut the cord, TK?” the doctor asked, holding out a pair of scissors.

TK nodded, his hands shaking as he took the scissors and cut the umbilical cord, severing the last physical connection between Aime and their daughter. It felt symbolic, like he was taking on a new role, a new responsibility, and the weight of it settled on his shoulders with a mix of fear and joy.

The nurses quickly cleaned stella up, wrapping her in a soft blanket before handing her to Aime. TK watched as Aime cradled their daughter in her arms, tears streaming down her face as she looked at the tiny, perfect life they had created together.

“She’s so beautiful,” Aime whispered, her voice trembling with emotion.

TK leaned in closer, his eyes locked on stella’s tiny face. She was so small, so delicate, with a shock of dark hair and tiny fists that waved in the air as she squirmed in Aime’s arms.

“Hi, stella ,” TK whispered, his voice thick with tears. “Welcome to the world, baby girl.”

stella’s tiny eyes fluttered open, and for a moment, TK thought she was looking right at him. He felt a connection in that moment, something deep and unbreakable, and he knew that no matter what happened, he would do everything in his power to protect and love this little girl.

“She’s perfect,” TK said, his voice barely above a whisper. He reached out, gently brushing his finger against stella’s tiny hand, and she instinctively curled her fingers around it. The simple gesture made TK’s heart ache with love.

Aime smiled, her eyes still shining with tears. “We did it, TK. We brought her into the world.”

“Yeah,” TK whispered, his voice choked with emotion. “We did.”

As they sat there together, holding their daughter for the first time, TK felt a profound sense of peace settle over him. There were still so many uncertainties, so many things he didn’t know how to handle, but in that moment, none of it mattered. All that mattered was the little girl in Aime’s arms, their daughter, their stella.

And as stella’s tiny hand continued to grip his finger, TK knew that, somehow, they were going to be okay. They had to be—because they had her now, and she was worth everything.

**Title: Alone Together**

---

TK hummed softly to stella as he carried her down the hospital hallway, trying to soothe her after the hearing test. The nurse had assured him that it was routine and that stella was perfectly healthy, but TK had still felt his heart clench when stella had started to cry. The sound had been tiny and pitiful, but to TK, it had been the loudest thing in the world.

“You did so good, baby girl,” TK whispered, gently rocking her as he walked. Stella had settled down after a few minutes, her big eyes blinking up at him sleepily. The sight made TK’s heart swell. He still couldn’t believe she was real, that she was his.

As he approached the room where Aime was supposed to be resting, TK felt a strange sense of calm wash over him. Despite the whirlwind of the last few days, he was starting to believe that they could do this. That they could be a family, even if it wasn’t exactly how he had imagined.

But when TK pushed open the door to the hospital room, that calm shattered.

The bed was empty.

TK’s heart skipped a beat as he glanced around the room, his mind racing. The bed, which should have held Aime, was neatly made, the sheets pulled up as if she had never been there. The IV stand was pushed to the side, the monitors turned off. Everything looked… wrong.

“Aime?” TK called out, his voice cracking with sudden panic. He stepped further into the room, his eyes darting to the bathroom door, but it was open, and the lights were off. There was no sign of Aime anywhere.

He quickly crossed the room, looking for any indication of where she might have gone. Maybe she’d gone for a walk, or maybe the nurses had taken her somewhere for a test. But as TK scanned the room, a sinking feeling settled in his stomach. Her bag was gone, the one she had packed so carefully for the hospital stay. Her clothes, her phone—everything she had brought with her was missing.

“No,” TK whispered, the word barely audible as the reality of the situation began to sink in. He felt his breath quicken, his chest tightening as his mind raced to make sense of what he was seeing. “No, she wouldn’t…”

But deep down, he knew. Aime had left.

She had left him and stella.

The realization hit him like a freight train, knocking the breath out of his lungs. His knees felt weak, and he staggered back, collapsing into the chair by the bed. He stared at the empty room, his mind spinning. How could she do this? How could she just leave?

He looked down at stellq, who was still cradled in his arms, blissfully unaware of what had just happened. Her tiny face was peaceful, her eyes closed as she slept, completely trusting that the world around her was safe and secure. TK’s heart broke at the sight. He had promised himself that he would protect her, that he would make sure she was never alone. But now, Aime had taken that choice away from him.

“She’s gone,” TK whispered, the words tasting bitter on his tongue. “She’s really gone.”

He felt tears prick at the corners of his eyes, but he blinked them away, focusing on the weight of Chloe in his arms. He couldn’t fall apart. Not now. Not when stella needed him.

The door to the room opened, and a nurse stepped in, a friendly smile on her face. “How did the hearing test go?” she asked, her tone light and cheerful.

TK couldn’t bring himself to respond for a moment, the words stuck in his throat. Finally, he forced himself to speak. “It was fine. She… she’s fine.”

The nurse’s smile faltered as she noticed TK’s expression, and her eyes flicked to the empty bed. “Where’s Aime?” she asked, her voice tinged with concern.

TK shook his head, the reality of the situation sinking in deeper with every passing second. “She’s… she’s gone. She left. I don’t know where she went.”

The nurse’s eyes widened in shock, and she quickly stepped forward, placing a comforting hand on TK’s shoulder. “Oh, honey, I’m so sorry. Let me get the doctor, okay? We’ll figure this out.”

TK nodded numbly, clutching stella closer to his chest as the nurse hurried out of the room. His mind was a storm of emotions—fear, anger, disbelief. How could Aime do this? How could she abandon their daughter, just hours after she was born?

As he sat there, waiting for the doctor, TK felt a deep sense of failure settle over him. He had thought that they could do this together, that they could be a family. But now he was alone, left to raise Chloe without the one person he had thought would be by his side.

But as he looked down at stellq, her tiny hand wrapped around his finger, something inside him shifted. Yes, Aime had left. Yes, it was unfair, and yes, he was terrified. But stelka was here. She was real, and she was his. And no matter what happened, he wasn’t going to let her down.

TK took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. He wasn’t sure how he was going to do this, how he was going to raise a child on his own, but he knew one thing for sure: he wasn’t going to give up. Stella needed him, and he was going to be there for her, no matter what.

When the doctor finally came in, TK was ready. He would do whatever it took to keep stella safe, to give her the life she deserved. He might be scared, and he might not have all the answers, but he had love. And for now, that would have to be enough.

**Title: Learning to Be a Father**

---

The first week with stella had been the hardest of TK’s life.

It wasn’t just that he was exhausted, though the bone-deep tiredness that settled into his body was like nothing he had ever experienced. It was the overwhelming sense of responsibility, the constant worry that he wasn’t doing things right, that he wasn’t enough for her.

Stella was so small, so fragile, and TK felt like he was in over his head. Every time she cried, it felt like a personal failure. He’d change her diaper, feed her, rock her, and still, sometimes, the cries would continue, piercing through the silence of the apartment and settling like daggers in his heart.

Owen had been there, of course. He had stepped in to help whenever TK needed it, but TK had been determined to do as much as he could on his own. This was his daughter, his responsibility, and he wanted to prove to himself that he could be a good father, even if it was just the two of them now.

But as the days turned into nights, the exhaustion began to wear him down. Stella’s cries seemed to come more frequently, and TK found himself growing more and more anxious with each passing day. He was terrified of making a mistake, of doing something that would hurt her or make her cry even more. The pressure felt unbearable, and the weight of it all pressed down on him like a heavy blanket.

On the seventh night, it all became too much.

Stella had been crying for what felt like hours. TK had tried everything—he had fed her, changed her, rocked her, walked around the apartment with her in his arms. But nothing seemed to work. Her cries only grew louder, more desperate, and TK felt his own emotions rising to the surface, a storm he couldn’t hold back any longer.

He was sitting in the nursery, stella cradled in his arms, her tiny face scrunched up as she wailed. TK’s hands shook as he held her, his eyes stinging with unshed tears. He was trying so hard to stay calm, to soothe her, but the sound of her crying was like a knife in his heart, cutting deeper with each passing second.

“Please, stella,” TK whispered, his voice trembling. “Please stop crying. I don’t know what to do.”

But stella didn’t stop. Her tiny body arched in his arms, her cries becoming more frantic, and TK felt something inside him break. The tears he had been holding back spilled over, running down his cheeks as he clutched stella tighter, rocking her desperately.

“I’m sorry,” he choked out, his voice breaking. “I’m so sorry, stella. I don’t know how to make it better. I’m trying, but I— I don’t know what I’m doing.”

He buried his face in her soft, dark hair, his shoulders shaking with silent sobs. The fear and exhaustion, the grief over Aime leaving, and the overwhelming love he felt for this tiny, helpless baby all collided in a rush of emotion that he couldn’t contain.

He felt like a failure. A terrible father who couldn’t even figure out how to comfort his own child.

The door to the nursery creaked open, and TK didn’t have the strength to look up. He just sat there, tears streaming down his face as stella continued to cry in his arms.

“TK,” Owen’s voice was soft, filled with concern, and it only made TK cry harder. He didn’t want his dad to see him like this, so broken and lost. He was supposed to be strong, to handle this on his own, but here he was, falling apart.

Owen crossed the room and knelt beside the chair, gently placing a hand on TK’s back. “Hey, it’s okay,” he said softly. “You’re doing great, TK. She’s just a baby. Sometimes they cry no matter what we do.”

“I can’t—” TK’s voice broke, and he shook his head, unable to finish the sentence. “I don’t know what she needs. I’m trying so hard, Dad, but I don’t know if I’m doing it right. I don’t know if I can do this.”

Owen’s heart ached at the sight of his son in so much pain. He had been worried about TK ever since Aime had left, but seeing him like this, struggling so much to be the father he wanted to be, made Owen’s chest tighten with a mix of sorrow and pride.

“You can do this,” Owen said firmly, rubbing TK’s back in slow, soothing circles. “I know it feels overwhelming right now, but you’re doing everything right. You’re here for her, you’re holding her, loving her. That’s what matters most.”

“But she won’t stop crying,” TK whispered, his tears still falling. “I’m trying so hard to calm her down, but nothing’s working. What if I’m not enough for her, Dad? What if I can’t do this without Aime?”

Owen gently cupped TK’s face, forcing him to look up. “TK, listen to me,” he said, his voice steady and full of conviction. “You are enough. You’re more than enough. Stella doesn’t need you to be perfect; she just needs you to be there. And you are. You’re doing everything you can, and that’s more than enough.”

TK sniffed, his breath hitching as he tried to calm himself down. He looked down at stella, who was still crying, but with less intensity now, as if she was tiring herself out.

“I’m so scared, Dad,” TK admitted, his voice barely above a whisper. “I’m so scared I’m going to mess this up.”

Owen’s heart broke a little more, but he kept his voice calm and reassuring. “It’s okay to be scared, TK. Every parent is scared at some point. But you’re not alone. I’m here, and we’ll figure this out together. You don’t have to do this on your own.”

TK nodded, leaning into his father’s comforting touch. He knew Owen was right, but the fear was still there, gnawing at the edges of his mind. But as he looked down at stella, who had finally started to settle in his arms, he felt a glimmer of hope. Maybe he didn’t have all the answers, and maybe he would make mistakes along the way, but he loved her more than anything. And that love, that determination to be there for her, would guide him through the hardest moments.

“Let me take her for a bit,” Owen offered gently. “You need a break, TK. Just a few minutes to breathe.”

TK hesitated, but then nodded, reluctantly passing stella to Owen. The moment she was out of his arms, TK felt a pang of anxiety, but he knew Owen was right. He needed a moment to collect himself.

Owen cradled stella with practiced ease, bouncing her gently as he whispered soothing words. Within minutes, stella’s cries had softened to small whimpers, and then, miraculously, she fell silent, her eyes closing as she drifted off to sleep.

TK watched in awe, wiping at his tear-streaked face. “How did you do that?”

Owen smiled, his eyes filled with warmth. “Sometimes, all it takes is a fresh pair of arms. She just needed a change of scenery, that’s all.”

TK let out a shaky breath, feeling a wave of relief wash over him. He still felt like he was in over his head, but for the first time in days, he felt like he could breathe again.

“Thanks, Dad,” TK said quietly, his voice filled with gratitude.

Owen shook his head, still gently rocking stella. “You don’t have to thank me, TK. We’re in this together, okay? You’re not alone.”

TK nodded, a small, tentative smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. He knew there would be more hard nights ahead, more moments where he felt like he was failing, but he also knew he wasn’t alone. He had his dad, and most importantly, he had stella.

And that, TK realized, was enough.

**Title: Back to School**

---

The next morning, TK stood outside the entrance to his high school, clutching stella’s diaper bag in one hand and balancing her car seat in the other. The sounds of students chattering and laughing filled the air, a stark contrast to the anxious knot twisting in TK’s stomach.

He had spent the last two weeks in a daze, learning how to care for stella, dealing with sleepless nights, and trying to wrap his mind around the reality that Aime had left them. Now, as he prepared to re-enter the world of high school, it felt like everything was happening too fast. He wasn’t ready, but he knew he didn’t have a choice.

Stella needed him to keep going, to provide for her.

He took a deep breath and walked through the doors. The school’s daycare was small but well-equipped, run by a kind woman named Mrs. Keller, who had been nothing but supportive when TK had called to arrange everything. She greeted him with a warm smile as he entered the daycare room, the bright colors and cheerful atmosphere almost overwhelming after the chaos of the past few weeks.

“Good morning, TK,” Mrs. Keller said softly, crouching down to get a better look at stella. “And good morning to you, little miss stella! We’re so happy to have you here today.”

TK forced a smile as he set stella’s car seat on the floor, carefully unbuckling her and lifting her out. Stella squirmed slightly in his arms but remained quiet, her big eyes taking in her new surroundings.

“I’m sorry if she’s fussy,” TK murmured, his voice thick with anxiety. “She’s still adjusting to everything.”

Mrs. Keller waved off his concerns with a gentle laugh. “Don’t you worry about a thing, TK. We’ll take good care of her. You just focus on your classes, okay?”

TK nodded, though the idea of leaving stella , even for a few hours, made his chest tighten. But he knew he had to do this. He had to go back to school, get through the day, and prove to himself that he could handle both being a student and a father.

He handed stella over to Mrs. Keller, who immediately began cooing and rocking her in her arms. Chloe settled quickly, her tiny fingers grasping at Mrs. Keller’s shirt, and TK felt a small wave of relief wash over him.

“Thank you,” TK said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Mrs. Keller smiled warmly at him. “She’s going to be just fine, TK. We’ll call you if she needs anything.”

TK nodded again, trying to keep his emotions in check as he kissed stella’s forehead. “I’ll see you later, baby girl,” he whispered before forcing himself to turn away and leave the daycare room.

As soon as he stepped into the hallway, the familiar sounds of lockers slamming and students chatting filled his ears. It felt like a different world from the one he had been living in, and TK felt a pang of disorientation. He made his way to his first class, trying to keep his head down and avoid drawing attention to himself. But he could feel the stares already, the whispers that followed him as he walked down the hallway.

It wasn’t long before the comments started.

“Hey, Strand, where’s your girlfriend?” one guy sneered as TK passed by.

“Probably ran off when she realized what a loser he is,” another voice chimed in.

TK kept his eyes on the floor, his hands clenched into fists as he tried to block out the words. But they kept coming, like a relentless wave crashing over him.

“Did you bring your baby to school, daddy?”

“Maybe he can take care of all of us since he’s such an expert now.”

“Bet Aime bailed because she knew he couldn’t handle it.”

The laughter that followed was like nails on a chalkboard, grating against TK’s nerves until he felt like he was going to snap. He could feel the heat rising in his cheeks, the embarrassment and anger swirling together into a storm that he couldn’t escape.

He wanted to scream, to yell at them to stop, but he knew that would only make things worse. So, he kept walking, his head down, trying to focus on getting to class. He just needed to get through the day, get back to stella, and pretend that everything was okay.

But as the day dragged on, the comments continued, chipping away at the fragile sense of control TK had managed to hold onto. By lunchtime, he felt like he was barely holding it together. He avoided the cafeteria, knowing it would only be worse in there, and instead found a quiet spot in the library, where he could try to calm down.

But even in the library, he couldn’t escape the stares and whispers. It felt like everyone was talking about him, about stella, about Aime leaving. TK felt like he was drowning, like the walls were closing in around him, and there was nothing he could do to stop it.

When the final bell rang, TK bolted out of the classroom, his heart pounding as he rushed to the daycare to pick up stella. He didn’t care about the curious looks or the whispers that followed him as he hurried down the hall. He just needed to get to stella, to hold her and remind himself that she was the reason he was doing this, the reason he was still standing.

Mrs. Keller was waiting for him with a smile when he arrived, stella bundled up in her arms.

“She was a perfect angel today,” Mrs. Keller said, handing stella over to TK. “You did great, TK.”

TK nodded, his throat too tight to respond. He held stella close, feeling her warmth against his chest, and for the first time all day, he felt like he could breathe again.

But as he left the school, the weight of the day settled heavily on his shoulders. He knew this wasn’t going to be easy. The bullying, the stares, the whispers—they weren’t going to stop. But he also knew he had to keep going. For stella.

As TK buckled stella into her car seat and climbed into the driver’s seat, he glanced at her in the rearview mirror. She was looking up at him with wide, curious eyes, and TK felt a swell of determination rise in his chest.

“I’m not going to let them get to us,” TK whispered, his voice firm. “I’m not going to let them win.”

It wasn’t going to be easy, but TK knew one thing for sure: stella was worth every struggle, every fight. And he wasn’t going to let anyone take that away from him.

---

**Title: The Breaking Point**

---

TK didn’t know how much more he could take.

The bullying had started as cruel comments and whispers, but over the past week, it had escalated. Every day, the taunts grew louder, the shoves in the hallway more forceful, and the looks of disdain more pointed. He tried to ignore it, to focus on stella and his schoolwork, but it was becoming impossible to keep his head above water.

That Friday, it all came crashing down.

The day had started like any other, with TK dropping stella off at the daycare before heading to his first class. He felt the usual knots of anxiety twisting in his stomach, but he forced himself to walk through the hallways, head down, hoping to get through the day without incident.

But hope wasn’t enough.

It happened during lunch. TK was sitting outside by himself, trying to escape the noise of the cafeteria when a group of three guys approached him. He recognized them immediately—John, Chris, and Mike—the same guys who had been making his life miserable since he returned to school.

“Hey, Strand,” John sneered, his voice dripping with mockery. “How’s daddy duty going?”

TK didn’t respond. He kept his eyes on the ground, hoping they would just leave him alone.

But they didn’t.

“Hey, I’m talking to you!” John snapped, grabbing TK by the shoulder and yanking him to his feet.

TK stumbled, trying to regain his balance, but Chris shoved him from behind, sending him crashing to the ground. His lunch tray flew out of his hands, spilling food across the pavement.

“What’s wrong, Strand? Can’t even stand up for yourself?” Mike taunted, his voice full of cruel laughter.

TK felt a surge of anger rise in his chest, but he forced it down, knowing that fighting back would only make things worse. “Just leave me alone,” he muttered, trying to pick himself up.

But they weren’t done. John shoved him again, harder this time, and TK hit the ground with a painful thud. He felt a sharp sting in his lip as it split open on the pavement.

“Oh, look, the daddy’s bleeding,” Chris said, laughing as he leaned down to get in TK’s face. “What a pathetic excuse for a father.”

The words cut deeper than the physical pain. TK could feel his control slipping, the tears burning at the back of his eyes, but he refused to let them see him cry. He wouldn’t give them that satisfaction.

But it didn’t matter. They kept pushing, kept hitting him, until TK was curled up on the ground, trying to protect his face as best he could. The pain was overwhelming, a blur of fists and kicks and mocking laughter that felt like it would never end.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, they stopped. TK heard them laughing as they walked away, leaving him lying on the ground, bruised and bleeding.

He lay there for a moment, trying to catch his breath, his body aching from the beating. His lip was throbbing, and he could taste the metallic tang of blood in his mouth. Slowly, he forced himself to sit up, wincing at the pain that shot through his ribs.

He wanted to cry, to scream, but he didn’t have the energy. All he could think about was getting to stella, making sure she was okay.

TK wiped the blood from his lip with the back of his hand, wincing as he stood up. His entire body hurt, but he forced himself to walk, to get to the daycare. He needed to see stella, to remind himself why he was doing this, why he couldn’t give up.

When he finally reached the daycare, Mrs. Keller took one look at him and gasped.

“Oh, TK, what happened?” she asked, her voice full of concern as she hurried over to him.

TK shook his head, not wanting to talk about it. “I’m fine,” he said quietly. “Just… rough day.”

Mrs. Keller looked like she wanted to say more, but she nodded and went to get stella. When she returned, TK felt a rush of relief as he took his daughter into his arms. Stella looked up at him with wide, innocent eyes, her tiny hand reaching out to touch his face.

It was enough to bring the tears back, but TK swallowed them down, trying to smile for Chloe’s sake. “Hey, baby girl,” he whispered, kissing the top of her head. “Daddy’s okay. Let’s go home.”

The drive home was a blur, TK’s thoughts racing as he tried to figure out what to do. He couldn’t keep doing this. He couldn’t keep putting stella through this. Something had to change, but he didn’t know what.

When he walked through the door of their apartment, Owen was sitting on the couch, a concerned look on his face.

“TK, what—?” Owen started, but he froze when he saw the state his son was in.

TK tried to play it off, forcing a smile. “I’m fine, Dad,” he said, his voice rough. “Just a little… accident.”

But Owen wasn’t buying it. He stood up and crossed the room in three quick strides, gently taking stella from TK’s arms and setting her in her crib before turning back to his son.

“TK, what happened?” Owen asked, his voice low and steady, but TK could see the worry in his father’s eyes.

TK shrugged, trying to avoid his father’s gaze. “Just… some guys at school. It’s no big deal.”

But Owen’s expression hardened. “No big deal? TK, you’re bleeding. This is a big deal.”

TK shook his head, trying to push past Owen to get to the bathroom. “I’m fine, Dad. Just need to clean up.”

But Owen wasn’t having it. He gently but firmly grabbed TK’s shoulders, forcing him to sit down on the couch. “TK, talk to me,” Owen said, his voice softening. “This isn’t okay. You can’t keep going through this.”

And that was it. The dam broke. TK felt the tears he had been holding back all day spill over, and he buried his face in his hands, sobbing.

“I can’t do it, Dad,” he choked out between sobs. “I can’t keep going to that school. They hate me. They hate stella. And Aime… Aime’s gone. I’m all alone.”

Owen’s heart broke for his son, and he pulled TK into a tight hug, holding him as he cried. “You’re not alone, TK,” Owen said firmly. “I’m here, and we’re going to figure this out. We’re going to make it better.”

TK nodded against his father’s chest, but the fear and pain still weighed heavily on him. “I just want stella to be safe,” he whispered.

“She will be,” Owen promised. “I won’t let anyone hurt either of you again.”

The next morning, Owen made a decision. It was time for a change.

“Pack a bag,” Owen said as TK sat at the kitchen table, feeding stella. “We’re leaving.”

TK looked up, confused. “Leaving? Where are we going?”

“Austin,” Owen replied, his voice firm. “I’ve already made arrangements. There’s a school there that’s better suited for you and stella. A place where you’ll be supported, not torn down.”

TK blinked, his mind reeling. “We’re moving to Austin?”

Owen nodded. “It’s time for a fresh start, TK. You deserve that. And stella deserves to grow up somewhere safe, surrounded by people who care about her.”

TK felt a mix of emotions—relief, fear, hope. He glanced down at stella, who was happily babbling in her high chair, oblivious to the turmoil around her. A fresh start. It sounded like a dream, but could it really be that simple?

“Okay,” TK finally said, his voice trembling with a mix of emotions. “Let’s do it.”

And with that, they began packing, ready to leave the past behind and start a new life in Austin, where TK could finally focus on being the father stella deserved.

---

**Title: A New Beginning**

---

The past three weeks had been a whirlwind for TK. Moving to Austin had been a drastic change, but one that TK knew was necessary. The new school Owen had found for them was specifically designed for students like him—teen parents trying to balance their education with the responsibilities of raising a child.

The first thing that struck TK about the school was how different it felt. There was no judgment, no harsh whispers behind his back. Instead, there were understanding smiles and kind words from both students and staff. The other students were all in similar situations, each juggling the demands of schoolwork and parenthood, and there was an unspoken camaraderie that made TK feel like he was finally somewhere he belonged.

Today was TK’s first full day at the new school. He had been slowly adjusting to the routine, and stella seemed to be doing well in the daycare program. But TK still felt nervous as he walked through the hallways, stella’s diaper bag slung over his shoulder and her car seat in hand.

He was so focused on making sure he was going the right way that he almost didn’t notice the boy standing in front of him until he nearly walked into him.

“Oh, sorry!” TK exclaimed, stopping abruptly.

The boy turned around, and TK felt his breath catch in his throat. The guy was a bit taller than him, with warm brown eyes and a friendly smile that made TK’s heart skip a beat.

“No problem,” the boy said, his voice smooth and calming. “You must be new here. I’m Carlos Reyes.”

“Yeah, I just transferred,” TK replied, trying not to sound as flustered as he felt. “I’m TK. TK Strand.”

Carlos’s smile widened. “Welcome to Austin, TK. And who’s this little one?” He nodded toward the car seat where stella was nestled, fast asleep.

“This is stella,” TK said, his voice softening as he glanced down at his daughter. “She’s three weeks old.”

Carlos’s eyes softened as he looked at stella. “She’s beautiful,” he said, his tone sincere.

“Thanks,” TK replied, feeling a warm flush of pride. “She’s my everything.”

Carlos nodded, understanding in his eyes. “I get that. You’re going to fit in just fine here, TK. Let me show you around.”

TK felt a wave of relief wash over him. He had been dreading this part—finding his way around a new school, figuring out where everything was. But with Carlos offering to help, it suddenly didn’t seem so daunting.

They walked through the halls together, Carlos pointing out the different classrooms, the library, and the cafeteria. As they made their way through the school, TK couldn’t help but notice how everyone seemed to know Carlos. He exchanged greetings with almost everyone they passed, his easygoing nature making him instantly likable.

“Here’s the daycare,” Carlos said as they reached a brightly decorated door. “They’re really great with the kids here. My sister used to go here when she was a baby.”

TK peeked into the room and saw a group of babies and toddlers being cared for by a team of attentive staff members. It was a warm, inviting space, and TK felt a sense of comfort knowing stella would be in good hands.

“Thanks, Carlos,” TK said, turning back to him. “I really appreciate you showing me around.”

“Anytime,” Carlos replied with a smile. “If you ever need anything, just let me know. I know it can be tough adjusting to a new place, but you’re not alone.”

TK nodded, feeling a strange mix of emotions. It had been a long time since he’d felt this kind of kindness from someone his age, and it was a relief to know that there were people like Carlos here.

As they continued the tour, TK found himself relaxing, the tension he had been carrying since they moved to Austin slowly melting away. Carlos’s presence was comforting, and TK couldn’t help but feel a sense of connection with him—a connection that he hadn’t felt with anyone else in a long time.

“So, what brought you to Austin?” Carlos asked casually as they walked down another hallway.

TK hesitated for a moment, not sure how much to share. But something about Carlos’s open and friendly demeanor made him feel like he could be honest.

“Things were… rough back home,” TK admitted. “I was getting bullied a lot, and my dad thought it would be better for us to start fresh somewhere new.”

Carlos nodded, his expression thoughtful. “I’m sorry you had to go through that, but I’m glad you’re here now. You deserve a place where you can feel safe.”

“Thanks,” TK said, his voice quiet. “It’s already starting to feel like that.”

As they reached the end of the tour, Carlos led TK to his first class of the day. They stopped outside the door, and Carlos turned to him with a reassuring smile.

“You’re going to do great, TK,” he said. “And remember, if you need anything, I’m here.”

TK smiled back, feeling a warmth in his chest that he hadn’t felt in a long time. “Thanks, Carlos. I mean it.”

Carlos gave him a nod before heading off to his own class, leaving TK standing outside the door, his heart still racing from the encounter.

As TK stepped into the classroom and took a seat, he couldn’t help but think that maybe—just maybe—this move to Austin was the best thing that could have happened to him and stella.

And as he glanced down at his sleeping daughter, TK felt a renewed sense of hope. They were going to be okay. He was going to make sure of it.

---

**Title: A New Chapter**

---

A few weeks had passed since TK and stella had settled into their new life in Austin, and things were finally starting to feel normal—or as close to normal as life could get for a teenage father. Stella was thriving in the daycare, stella and TK slowly but surely finding his rhythm at school. But there was one person who had made the transition easier than TK ever could have imagined: Carlos Reyes.

Since that first day, Carlos and TK had spent a lot of time together. What started as Carlos showing TK around the school quickly blossomed into a close friendship. They had lunch together almost every day, and Carlos would often come over after school to hang out or help TK with stella. The more time they spent together, the more TK found himself looking forward to seeing Carlos, his heart fluttering in a way that was both exciting and terrifying.

It didn’t take long for TK to realize that his feelings for Carlos were more than just friendly. He liked Carlos—a lot. And as far as he could tell, the feeling was mutual.

One Friday afternoon, when stella was five weeks old, Carlos came over to TK’s apartment with a smile on his face and a bag of groceries in his hand.

“Hey,” Carlos greeted as he walked in, setting the bag down on the kitchen counter. “I thought I’d come by and help out with dinner tonight. I know you’ve got your hands full with stella.”

TK smiled, feeling a warmth spread through his chest. “You didn’t have to do that, but I’m glad you’re here.”

Carlos shrugged, giving him a playful grin. “I like spending time with you two. Besides, I figured we could try making something other than mac and cheese for once.”

TK laughed, the sound light and genuine. “You know me too well.”

As Carlos started unpacking the groceries, TK went to check on stella, who was dozing peacefully in her crib. He watched her for a moment, his heart swelling with love and gratitude. She was his everything, and he was determined to give her the best life possible.

When TK returned to the kitchen, Carlos was already chopping vegetables, moving around the space like he belonged there. TK felt a surge of affection as he watched Carlos work, the realization hitting him that this—cooking dinner together, caring for stella—felt like the start of something spécial.

“Carlos,” TK said, his voice hesitant as he leaned against the counter. “There’s something I’ve been meaning to talk to you about.”

Carlos looked up, his expression curious but patient. “What’s up?”

TK took a deep breath, trying to steady the nerves that were suddenly threatening to overwhelm him. “I’ve been thinking a lot lately, and… I really like spending time with you. I mean, more than just as friends.”

Carlos’s eyes softened, and a small smile tugged at the corners of his lips. “I like spending time with you too, TK. A lot.”

The warmth in TK’s chest grew, and he couldn’t help but smile back. “So, what do you think? Maybe we could… go out sometime? Like, as more than just friends?”

Carlos set down the knife he was holding and stepped closer to TK, his gaze never leaving TK’s. “I’d really like that,” he said softly, his voice full of sincerity.

Before TK could respond, Carlos reached out and gently cupped TK’s face in his hands, leaning in to press a soft, lingering kiss to his lips. The kiss was sweet and tender, and it sent a rush of emotions through TK that made him feel like he was floating.

When they finally pulled back, TK couldn’t stop the grin that spread across his face. “That was… really nice.”

Carlos chuckled, his thumb gently brushing TK’s cheek. “I’ve been wanting to do that for a while.”

“Me too,” TK admitted, his heart racing with excitement.

They stood there for a moment, simply enjoying the closeness, before Carlos glanced over at stella’s crib. “So, how does stella feel about having two dads?” he asked, his tone light but his eyes serious.

TK followed his gaze, his heart swelling with affection for both his daughter and the boy standing in front of him. “I think she’ll be pretty lucky,” TK said, his voice full of warmth. “I know I am.”

Carlos smiled, and for the rest of the evening, they cooked dinner together, laughing and talking like they had known each other for years. After dinner, they took turns holding stella, who had woken up and was contentedly cooing in their arms.

Carlos was a natural with her, and TK couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe as he watched Carlos interact with his daughter. It was as if they were already a little family, and the thought filled TK with a sense of peace and happiness that he hadn’t felt in a long time.

As the night wore on, stella eventually fell asleep in Carlos’s arms, and TK couldn’t help but smile at the sight. “You’re really good with her,” TK said quietly, not wanting to disturb the peaceful moment.

Carlos looked up, his eyes full of affection as he gazed at TK. “She’s easy to love,” he said softly. “Just like her dad.”

TK felt his heart swell, and in that moment, he knew that this—being with Carlos, raising Chloe together—was exactly where he was meant to be.

They spent the rest of the evening curled up on the couch, stella sleeping soundly between them, and for the first time in a long time, TK felt like everything was going to be okay.

**Title: First Milestones**

---

The past few months had been a period of growth and discovery for TK, Carlos, and baby stella. Adjusting to life in Austin had been easier with Carlos by TK’s side, and stella was thriving with the love and care she received from her little family. Now, at five months old, she was starting to show signs of hitting her developmental milestones, much to TK’s and Carlos’s delight.

It was a Saturday afternoon, and TK and Carlos were at Owen’s house, enjoying a rare day off. Owen had taken to spending weekends with them whenever he could, wanting to be a part of his granddaughter’s life as much as possible. Today was no exception, and the three of them were sprawled out in the living room, watching stella play on a blanket spread out on the floor.

“She’s getting so big,” Owen marveled as he watched stella reach for one of her toys, her tiny fingers curling around it with determination.

TK smiled, pride swelling in his chest. “I know. It feels like just yesterday she was a newborn.”

Carlos, who was sitting next to TK on the couch, reached over and gave his hand a gentle squeeze. “She’s growing up fast. But it’s amazing to see her changing every day.”

TK nodded, his heart warming at the thought of how much stella had already accomplished in her short life. She was starting to babble more, her eyes following them around the room, and she was even starting to show signs of wanting to move.

As if on cue, stella suddenly rolled onto her side, her little legs kicking excitedly. TK’s eyes widened in surprise, and he quickly leaned forward, his attention fully on his daughter.

“Did you see that?” TK asked, his voice full of excitement.

Carlos and Owen both turned their attention to stella, who was still wriggling on her side, her expression full of concentration.

“She’s trying to turn over!” Carlos exclaimed, his voice filled with wonder.

Owen’s eyes lit up, and he quickly pulled out his phone to record the moment. “Come on, stella, you can do it!”

With a determined grunt, stella managed to roll onto her stomach, her tiny arms flailing as she pushed herself up slightly. She looked around, wide-eyed and proud of herself, as if she couldn’t quite believe what she had just done.

TK felt a rush of emotion as he watched her, tears pricking at the corners of his eyes. “She did it,” he whispered, his voice choked with pride. “She turned over.”

Carlos let out a cheer, clapping his hands in excitement. “Way to go, stella!”

Owen, who was still recording, couldn’t stop grinning. “That’s my granddaughter! First time turning over, and she nailed it!”

Stella, clearly pleased with the attention, let out a happy coo, her big eyes shining with joy. TK quickly scooped her up, holding her close as he pressed a kiss to her forehead.

“You’re amazing, stella,” TK whispered, his heart full to bursting. “I’m so proud of you.”

Carlos leaned over, wrapping his arms around both TK and stella in a warm embrace. “We all are,” he added, his voice full of love.

For a moment, the three of them sat there, basking in the joy of the moment. Stella’s first major milestone had been a success, and it felt like a symbol of how far they had all come as a family.

Owen finally put his phone away, his eyes misty with emotion. “This is what it’s all about,” he said softly, his voice thick with pride. “These little moments… they’re everything.”

TK nodded, feeling the weight of his father’s words. He knew that life wouldn’t always be easy—there would be challenges and setbacks along the way. But in moments like this, surrounded by the people he loved most, TK felt like they could handle anything.

As the day went on, they continued to celebrate stella’s achievement, showering her with love and praise. TK couldn’t help but feel grateful for the support he had from both Owen and Carlos. They were his rock, his family, and together, they would make sure that Chloe had the best life possible.

Later that evening, after Owen had gone to bed and stella was finally asleep in her crib, TK and Carlos sat together on the couch, reflecting on the day.

“Today was amazing,” TK said quietly, leaning his head against Carlos’s shoulder.

“It really was,” Carlos agreed, his arm wrapped around TK’s waist. “I’m so glad I was here to see it.”

TK smiled, feeling a sense of contentment settle over him. “Me too. I can’t imagine doing this without you.”

Carlos kissed the top of TK’s head, his voice soft and full of emotion. “You’re never going to have to.”

As they sat there, wrapped in each other’s arms, TK knew that no matter what the future held, they would face it together. They had already come so far, and with each new milestone, they were only growing stronger as a family.

And as TK drifted off to sleep that night, he couldn’t help but feel like he was exactly where he was meant to be—surrounded by love, with a bright future ahead for him, Carlos, and their beautiful daughter, stella.

**Title: A Place to Call Home**

---

Moving day had finally arrived, and the small apartment that TK and Carlos had found together was filled with the sounds of laughter and the bustling energy of a new beginning. The apartment wasn’t huge, but it was perfect for them—a cozy two-bedroom place with a little balcony that overlooked the park. It was their first home as a family, and TK couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride as he looked around at the space that was now theirs.

Stella, who was now nine months old, was crawling around the living room, exploring her new surroundings with wide-eyed curiosity. Her bright giggles filled the air as she discovered the new textures of the carpet and the various toys that were scattered around the floor.

“Look at her go,” Carlos said with a smile as he watched stella, his eyes filled with love. “She’s getting so big.”

TK chuckled, bending down to pick up one of stella’s stuffed animals. “I know. It feels like she’s growing up so fast.”

Carlos wrapped an arm around TK’s waist, pulling him close. “We’re lucky to have her. And I’m lucky to have you.”

TK leaned into Carlos, feeling the warmth of his embrace. “I’m lucky too,” he said softly, his heart swelling with affection.

They spent the rest of the afternoon unpacking, making the apartment feel more like home. TK set up stella’s crib in the second bedroom, carefully placing her favorite blanket inside. He made sure her little room was just right, filled with all the things that made her feel safe and loved.

As the day turned into evening, they all gathered in the living room, tired but happy. Carlos was sitting on the floor, playing with stella, while TK finished up putting away the last of the dishes in the kitchen. Stella was babbling happily, her little hands reaching out to Carlos as she tried to pull herself up.

“Come on, stella, you can do it,” Carlos encouraged, his voice full of warmth.

TK looked over just in time to see Chloe pulling herself up to a standing position, her legs wobbly but determined. His heart skipped a beat as he realized what was happening.

“Carlos, look!” TK called out, his voice full of excitement.

Carlos’s eyes widened as he watched stella take her first tentative step, her tiny feet moving forward with cautious determination. And then, before they knew it, she took another step, and another.

“She’s walking!” Carlos exclaimed, his voice full of pride and amazement.

TK quickly moved closer, his heart pounding with joy. “You’re doing it, stella! You’re walking!”

Stella took a few more steps before she plopped down onto her bottom, her face breaking into a wide, triumphant grin. Both TK and Carlos were beside themselves with excitement, clapping and cheering for her.

“You did it, baby girl!” TK said, scooping her up into his arms and showering her with kisses. “I’m so proud of you!”

Carlos reached out and took stella from TK, holding her close as he pressed a kiss to her forehead. “You’re amazing, stella,” he whispered, his voice thick with emotion.

As they sat there, the joy of the moment still fresh in the air, Carlos turned to TK, his expression suddenly serious. “TK, there’s something I’ve been wanting to talk to you about.”

TK looked at him, sensing the shift in Carlos’s tone. “What is it?” he asked, his voice gentle.

Carlos took a deep breath, his eyes locking onto TK’s. “I’ve been thinking a lot about us—about this little family we’ve built together. And… I love stella like she’s my own daughter. I want to be there for her, for you, for the rest of our lives.”

TK’s breath caught in his throat as he realized where this was going, his heart swelling with emotion.

Carlos continued, his voice filled with sincerity. “I want to adopt stella, TK. I want to be her ‘papa,’ officially. I want to be there for all of her firsts, to help raise her, and to be the best father I can be to her. What do you think?”

Tears welled up in TK’s eyes as he looked at Carlos, overwhelmed by the love and commitment he saw in his partner. “Carlos… that’s all I’ve ever wanted,” TK whispered, his voice choked with emotion. “I would love for you to be stella’s papa. It would mean everything to me.”

Before either of them could say anything more, stella, who had been watching them intently, suddenly spoke up, her little voice clear and determined.

“Dada,” she said, looking at TK with bright eyes.

TK’s heart skipped a beat, tears streaming down his face as he looked at his daughter. “Did she just…?”

But before he could finish, Chloe turned her gaze to Carlos and, with a big smile, said her second word.

“Papa.”

Carlos’s eyes filled with tears as he stared at stella in disbelief, his heart swelling with love. “She called me ‘Papa,’” he whispered, his voice thick with emotion.

TK nodded, tears of joy streaming down his face. “She did. She knows, Carlos. She knows you’re her papa.”

Carlos couldn’t hold back any longer. He pulled both TK and stella into a tight embrace, his heart overflowing with love and gratitude. “I love you both so much,” he whispered, his voice full of emotion. “Thank you for letting me be a part of this.”

“We love you too,” TK whispered back, his voice trembling with emotion. “You’re our family, Carlos. We couldn’t do this without you.”

As they sat there, holding each other close, the weight of the moment settled over them. They were a family—strong, united, and full of love. And no matter what the future held, they knew they would face it together.

In their little apartment, with the promise of many more firsts to come, TK, Carlos, and stella had found their place in the world. They were home.

**Title: A New Chapter Begins**

---

The gymnasium was buzzing with excitement as friends and family filled the bleachers, eager to see their loved ones walk across the stage and receive their diplomas. It was a day that TK had been working toward for years—a day that marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

Carlos sat in the crowd, holding 10-month-old stella in his lap. She was dressed in a tiny blue dress that matched the color of the graduation gowns, her chubby hands clapping excitedly as she looked around at the unfamiliar sights and sounds.

“There he is, stella!” Carlos whispered to her as he spotted TK in the line of graduates waiting to take their seats. His heart swelled with pride as he watched TK, who looked so grown-up in his cap and gown, smiling nervously as he searched the crowd for familiar faces.

When TK finally spotted them, his face lit up with a broad smile. Carlos waved, holding stella’s little hand so she could wave too. TK waved back, mouthing the words “I love you” before turning his attention back to the ceremony.

Carlos couldn’t help but feel a rush of emotion as he watched TK take his seat among his classmates. It had been a long and sometimes difficult journey to get to this point, but TK had persevered. He had not only finished high school while raising stella but had done so with determination and grace.

The ceremony began with the usual speeches, the principal talking about the future and the bright possibilities that lay ahead for the graduating class. Carlos’s mind wandered as he thought about what lay ahead for TK. With high school behind him, TK would soon be starting at the fire academy—a dream he had held onto for as long as Carlos had known him. Carlos himself was nearly done with the police academy, and he couldn’t wait to start his career as a police officer.

When TK’s name was finally called, Carlos’s heart skipped a beat. He stood up, balancing stella on his hip as he clapped and cheered. Stella, sensing the excitement, began clapping along, her giggles filling the air.

“There’s Dada!” Carlos said to her, his voice full of pride.

TK walked across the stage with confidence, shaking hands with the principal before taking his diploma. As he turned to face the crowd, he caught sight of Carlos and stella, his heart swelling with love and gratitude. This moment wasn’t just for him—it was for all of them. For the little family they had become, and for the future they were building together.

After the ceremony, Carlos found TK in the crowd, holding stella as he made his way through the throngs of graduates and their families.

“You did it!” Carlos exclaimed, pulling TK into a tight hug, careful not to squish stella between them.

TK laughed, his heart feeling light and full of joy. “We did it,” he corrected, pulling back to look at Carlos and stella. “I couldn’t have done any of this without you two.”

Carlos smiled, leaning in to kiss TK softly. “We’re so proud of you,” he said, his voice full of emotion. “And now, it’s on to the next adventure.”

TK nodded, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation for what lay ahead. “Fire academy, here I come.”

“And I’ll be right there with you,” Carlos promised. “We’re in this together, remember?”

TK smiled, feeling a rush of love for the man standing beside him. “Always.”

As they walked out of the gymnasium, the sun shining brightly overhead, TK couldn’t help but feel a sense of accomplishment. High school was behind him, and the future stretched out before him like an open road. With Carlos by his side and stella in his arms, he knew he could face whatever came next.

They celebrated TK’s graduation with a small gathering at Owen’s house that evening. Owen had gone all out, grilling burgers and making TK’s favorite side dishes. Stella was passed around between family members, everyone marveling at how much she had grown in the past few months.

Later that night, after stella had been put to bed and the guests had gone home, TK and Carlos sat together on the couch, reflecting on the day.

“I’m proud of you, TK,” Carlos said softly, his arm draped over TK’s shoulders. “You’ve worked so hard to get here, and you deserve every bit of happiness that comes your way.”

TK leaned into Carlos, feeling a sense of contentment settle over him. “I’m proud of us,” he said. “We’ve been through so much, and we’ve come out stronger because of it.”

Carlos nodded, his heart swelling with love for the man beside him. “And we’ve got so much more to look forward to. The fire academy, the police academy… and most importantly, watching stella grow up.”

TK smiled, his thoughts turning to the future. “Yeah,” he said softly. “We’ve got a lot to look forward to.”

As they sat there, wrapped up in each other, TK knew that whatever challenges lay ahead, they would face them together. High school was just the beginning, and with Carlos and stella by his side, he was ready to take on the world.

**Title: First Day of School**

---

The morning sun filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the bedroom where stella sat cross-legged on the bed, her small hands nervously fiddling with the hem of her new dress. Today was a big day—it was her first day of school.

Stella, now five years old, had been looking forward to this day with a mix of excitement and anxiety. She was a bright, curious child, full of questions and wonder, but the thought of starting school, of being in a room full of new faces, made her stomach twist with nerves.

TK and Carlos stood in the doorway, watching her quietly. They could see the apprehension in her eyes, the way her little shoulders were tense with worry. TK’s heart ached, knowing how overwhelming this day must feel for her.

“Hey, peanut,” TK said softly, stepping into the room and sitting down beside stella on the bed. “How are you feeling?”

Stella looked up at him, her big brown eyes filled with uncertainty. “I’m a little scared, Dada,” she admitted, her voice small. “What if I don’t make any friends? What if I get lost?”

TK smiled gently, brushing a stray curl away from her face. “It’s okay to feel scared,” he reassured her. “Starting something new can be a little scary, but you’re going to do great. And guess what? You don’t have to do it alone. Papa and I will be there with you.”

Carlos moved to sit on the other side of stella, wrapping an arm around her in a comforting hug. “Your Dada’s right,” he said, his voice warm and reassuring. “We’ll be with you every step of the way. And I promise, you’re going to make lots of friends. You’re such a kind and sweet girl—everyone’s going to love you.”

Stella leaned into Carlos, feeling the warmth of his embrace and the steady beat of his heart. She looked up at him and then over at TK, finding comfort in the familiar faces of the two people she trusted most in the world.

“Do you think so?” she asked, her voice wavering slightly.

“I know so,” Carlos said with a smile, pressing a kiss to the top of her head. “And if you ever feel lost or scared, just remember that we’re right there with you in spirit, cheering you on.”

TK nodded, taking stella’s small hand in his. “And remember, peanut, today is just the beginning. There’s so much to learn, so many adventures to have, and we’re going to be here for all of it.”

Stella smiled a little, the nerves still there but beginning to soften under the warmth of her parents’ love. “Okay,” she said, taking a deep breath. “I’ll be brave.”

“That’s my girl,” TK said, pride swelling in his chest.

Together, they helped stella finish getting ready, making sure her backpack was packed with all the essentials—her favorite lunch, a few snacks, and a small stuffed bear that she insisted on bringing for comfort.

When it was time to leave, they all piled into the car, with stella sitting in the backseat, her hands clutching her backpack. As they pulled up to the school, stella’s nerves returned, but she held onto the words TK and Carlos had said, repeating them in her head like a mantra.

“We’re here,” Carlos said gently as he parked the car. He turned around to look at stella, giving her a reassuring smile. “Ready to go in?”

Stella nodded, though her grip on her backpack tightened.

TK got out of the car first, opening the door for stella and helping her out. “We’re going to walk in with you, okay?” he said, taking her hand in his.

As they approached the school, stellae’s eyes widened at the sight of all the other children and parents milling about. It was a lot to take in, but with TK on one side and Carlos on the other, she felt a little more at ease.

When they reached the entrance, TK knelt down to stella’s level, looking her in the eye. “You’ve got this, peanut,” he said softly. “Remember what we talked about? Just be yourself, and everything will be okay.”

Carlos knelt down beside them, offering a comforting smile. “And we’ll be here to pick you up as soon as school’s over. You can tell us all about your day then.”

Stella looked between them, their faces filled with love and encouragement. She took a deep breath, nodding. “Okay,” she said with a small smile. “I’m ready.”

TK and Carlos both leaned in to give her a hug, their arms wrapped around her in a protective cocoon. “We love you, stella ,” Carlos whispered.

“We love you so much,” TK added, kissing her on the forehead.

“I love you too, Dada. I love you, Papa,” stella said, her voice full of emotion.

With one last squeeze, they stood up, watching as stella took her first steps into the school. She paused at the door, turning back to wave at them. TK and Carlos waved back, their hearts full as they watched their little girl walk into this new chapter of her life.

As the door closed behind her, TK felt a tear slip down his cheek, but it was a tear of pride, of love, and of hope for the future.

Carlos wrapped an arm around TK’s shoulders, pulling him close. “She’s going to be okay,” he said softly. “She’s strong, just like her Dada.”

TK smiled, leaning into Carlos. “And just like her Papa,” he added.

As they walked back to the car, hand in hand, they both knew that this was just the beginning of another adventure—the adventure of watching stella grow, learn, and thrive. And they were ready for it, together.

**Title: A Day to Remember**

---

The sun shone brightly over the city as TK and Carlos prepared for one of the most significant days of their lives—stella’s official adoption day. The excitement in the air was palpable, and the small gathering of family and friends waiting at the courthouse reflected the love and support that surrounded them.

Stella, now five years old, wore a beautiful white dress with colorful flowers embroidered on it. She twirled around in front of the mirror, her laughter filling the room as she admired her reflection. “Look, Dada! I’m a princess!” she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with joy.

TK smiled, his heart swelling with love for his little girl. “You look like the most beautiful princess in the world,” he said, kneeling down to her level. “Today is all about you, sweetheart.”

Carlos entered the room, adjusting his tie and smiling at the sight of stella. “Wow, look at you!” he said, bending down to give her a gentle hug. “Are you ready for the big day?”

Stella nodded, her excitement bubbling over. “Yes! Are you really going to be my Papa now?”

Carlos chuckled softly, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. “I’ve been your Papa since the day we met. But today, it becomes official, and we get to celebrate our family.”

“Yay!” Stella cheered, jumping up and down. The enthusiasm was infectious, and TK and Carlos couldn’t help but join in her celebration.

Once they were all ready, they made their way to the courthouse. The building stood tall and proud, its stone façade reflecting the warm sunlight. Inside, the atmosphere was filled with a mix of anticipation and joy as families gathered to finalize their adoptions.

As they entered the courtroom, TK held stella’s hand tightly, while Carlos walked beside them, radiating pride. They spotted their friends and family sitting in the front row, all wearing smiles of encouragement.

The judge, a kind-looking woman with a warm smile, welcomed them into the room. “Today, we are here to finalize the adoption of stella into this wonderful family,” she announced, her voice filled with warmth. “I can see how much love is in this room, and I am honored to be a part of this special occasion.”

TK’s heart raced as he watched the judge speak. He glanced at Carlos, whose eyes were filled with tears of happiness. They had worked so hard to reach this moment, and it was finally here.

“Stella,” the judge said, turning to their daughter, “do you want to tell us how you feel about being adopted today?”

Stella’s face lit up, her eyes shining. “I feel really happy! I love my Dada and my Papa, and I want to be with them forever!” Her voice rang clear and true, and the room erupted in applause.

Carlos beamed with pride, his heart swelling at stella’s words. He leaned down to kiss her cheek, whispering, “We love you too, sweetheart. Forever and always.”

The judge continued, guiding them through the process. Carlos stood up to take the oath, promising to love and care for stella as his own. TK watched, overwhelmed with emotion, knowing that this was not just a legal formality but a true representation of the love they shared as a family.

Once the paperwork was signed and the judge declared the adoption official, she handed Carlos a small certificate. “Congratulations, Mr. Reyes. Stella is now officially yours.”

Stella squealed with delight, jumping into Carlos’s arms. “Papa! I’m really your daughter now!”

Carlos held her tightly, tears of joy streaming down his face. “Yes, my beautiful girl! Always and forever!”

The moment was electric with love, and TK couldn’t help but join in, wrapping his arms around both Carlos and stella. The three of them stood together, a picture of unity and family, as their loved ones cheered from the audience.

After the ceremony, they all moved outside into the sunshine. Family and friends gathered around, showering them with hugs and congratulations. Stella beamed as she received gifts, cards, and lots of attention, her little heart overflowing with joy.

“Let’s take a picture!” TK suggested, pulling everyone together. They posed in front of the courthouse, stella standing proudly between her Dada and Papa, holding a sign that read “Officially Adopted!”

The flash of the camera captured the moment perfectly, preserving the happiness etched on their faces.

As they walked to a nearby park for a celebratory picnic, stella chattered excitedly about her new family. “Can we have cake? I want cake! And can we play on the swings?” Her enthusiasm was contagious, and TK and Carlos exchanged amused glances.

“Of course, we can have cake, and we’ll definitely play on the swings,” Carlos replied, rufflingstella’s hair.

The picnic was filled with laughter, food, and games. Friends and family shared stories and memories, celebrating the beautiful bond that had formed. TK felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude wash over him as he watched Carlos and stella play together, their laughter mingling with the sounds of the day.

As the sun began to set, painting the sky with hues of pink and orange, TK took a moment to reflect. His heart swelled with love for the family they had built together. This day was a reminder of how far they had come, the challenges they had overcome, and the bright future that lay ahead.

Stella ran back to him, her face flushed with excitement. “Dada, can we have a family hug?”

TK knelt down, opening his arms wide as stella jumped into his embrace. Carlos joined them, wrapping his arms around both of them, forming a perfect circle of love.

In that moment, TK knew that no matter what challenges they faced in the future, they would face them together. They were a family—forever bound by love and commitment.

**Title: A Day of Love**

---

The sun shone brightly over the park where TK and Carlos had chosen to hold their wedding ceremony. The vibrant colors of the flowers adorned the space, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of blossoms. Friends and family gathered, excitement palpable as they awaited the moment that would forever change TK and Carlos's lives.

Stella, now five years old, stood nearby in her adorable flower girl dress. It was a soft lavender color with delicate lace, perfectly matching the theme of the wedding. Her hair was pulled back into a bun, with a few loose curls framing her face, and a tiny crown of flowers rested on her head.

“Stella, are you ready?” TK asked, crouching down to her level. His heart swelled with pride as he looked at his little girl, who had grown so much over the years.

Stella nodded, her eyes shining with excitement. “I’m ready, Dada! I can’t wait to throw the flowers!” She clutched a small basket filled with petals, bouncing on her toes.

Carlos approached, dressed in a sharp suit, a proud smile on his face. “You look beautiful, sweetheart,” he said, kneeling down to give Chloe a quick hug. “Are you ready to help us start our new family?”

“Yep! I’m going to make you guys look extra special!” Stella giggled, her enthusiasm infectious.

The music began to play, and the guests quieted, all eyes turning toward the entrance. TK took a deep breath, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. Today was a celebration of their love, and it felt surreal that the moment had finally arrived.

As the ceremony began, TK and Carlos stood side by side at the altar, their hands clasped tightly. The officiant spoke words of love and commitment, while stella skipped ahead of them, scattering flower petals along the aisle with a beaming smile.

The sight of stella, full of joy and innocence, filled TK’s heart with warmth. She was the perfect representation of their family, a beautiful reminder of the love they had nurtured together.

“Do you, Carlos, take TK to be your lawfully wedded husband?” the officiant asked, turning to Carlos.

Carlos looked deep into TK’s eyes, a smile spreading across his face. “I do.”

“And do you, TK, take Carlos to be your lawfully wedded husband?”

TK’s heart raced, emotions overwhelming him. “I do,” he replied, his voice steady.

As they exchanged rings and vows, Chloe watched with wide eyes, a mix of awe and joy illuminating her face. The promises made between TK and Carlos were filled with love, laughter, and a commitment to their family.

When the officiant pronounced them married, a wave of applause erupted from the guests. TK and Carlos turned to each other, grinning ear to ear as they shared their first kiss as a married couple, sealing their love and commitment.

Stella cheered, throwing her hands in the air, her basket of petals momentarily forgotten. “Yay! You’re married!”

After the ceremony, they mingled with family and friends, celebrating their union. Laughter filled the air as they took photos, capturing the joyous moments of the day.

As the sun began to set, they gathered for dinner under twinkling lights, the atmosphere filled with love and happiness. Stella sat between her Dada and Papa, her eyes sparkling as they talked and laughed together.

“Can I give a toast?” TK asked, raising his glass. Carlos nodded, proud of the moment they were sharing.

“To family,” TK began, his voice steady. “To love, to laughter, and to the incredible journey we have ahead of us. Thank you all for being here to celebrate with us. And stella, you are our greatest gift, the light of our lives.”

Stella beamed, her cheeks flushed with pride. “I love you both!” she exclaimed, raising her juice cup in a toast.

“And we love you, sweet pea,” Carlos replied, clinking his glass against hers.

As the night went on, Chloe took center stage, showing off her dance moves and making everyone laugh. The dance floor filled with guests celebrating, but stella had her Dada and Papa close by, twirling in circles and giggling as they danced along with her.

The joy in the air was infectious, and as TK held stella in his arms while Carlos spun them around, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of completeness. They had built a beautiful family together, and today was a testament to their love.

As the evening drew to a close, TK and Carlos gathered with stella for one final photo. They stood together, arms around each other, smiling widely. This was their family—bound by love, laughter, and the promise of forever.

“Let’s go home,” Carlos said softly, glancing at TK and stella.

“Home!” Stella echoed, her eyes shining with happiness.

As they drove away from the celebration, TK felt a deep sense of gratitude for the life they had created. No matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together—Dada, Papa, and their beautiful daughter.

**Title: Long-Awaited Encounters**

---

Stella stood in front of the mirror, adjusting the collar of her blouse and checking her hair one last time. Today was a day she had both anticipated and dreaded for as long as she could remember—her mother, Aime, was coming back after fifteen years. She glanced at the clock, her heart racing as the minutes ticked by.

“Stella, are you ready?” TK called from the living room. His voice was warm, filled with reassurance, but she could sense the underlying tension.

“Yeah, I’m coming!” Stella replied, taking a deep breath. She had spent countless hours imagining this moment, wondering what it would be like to finally meet the mother who had been absent for most of her life.

As she walked into the living room, she found TK and Carlos waiting for her, both wearing supportive smiles. TK knelt beside her, meeting her gaze with his warm, comforting eyes. “You look beautiful, stella. Just remember, no matter what happens today, we’re right here with you.”

Stella nodded, feeling grateful for the unwavering support of her Dada and Papa. They had done their best to make sure she knew about Aime in a positive light, sending her photos every year and sharing stories about her mother.

“I just wish I knew what to expect,” stella admitted, her voice trembling slightly.

“Just be yourself,” Carlos encouraged, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. “You’ve got this.”

The doorbell rang, echoing through the house and causing stella’s heart to leap into her throat. “That’s her,” she whispered, anxiety coursing through her.

“Take a deep breath,” TK said, squeezing her hand gently. “We’ll handle this together.”

Stella nodded, drawing in a shaky breath. With a nod from TK, she walked to the door, her heart pounding in her chest. When she opened it, she was met with Aime standing on the doorstep, looking older but still familiar.

“Stella,” Aime breathed, tears welling in her eyes as she took in the sight of her daughter. “You’re so beautiful.”

Stella’s breath caught in her throat as she studied Aime. The years had not been kind to her mother; she looked worn and fragile, but the love in her eyes was unmistakable. “Mom,” stella said softly, the word feeling strange yet comforting on her tongue.

Aime stepped forward hesitantly, and TK moved protectively beside stella. “Aime,” he said, his tone steady but cautious. “You’ve had a long time away from her.”

“I know,” Aime replied, her voice trembling. “But I’m here now, and I want to be a part of her life. I’ve missed so much.”

“Why now?” TK asked, crossing his arms. “What’s changed?”

Aime glanced at stella, her expression filled with regret. “I’ve been working on myself. I know I can’t just come back and expect everything to be okay, but I want a chance to get to know her. I’ve seen the photos you sent, TK. I’ve kept them all. I’ve watched her grow from afar.”

Stella felt a rush of emotions—confusion, hope, and uncertainty all mingling together. “You really saw the photos?” she asked, searching Aime’s eyes for sincerity.

“Every single one,” Aime confirmed, her voice steady. “I wanted to be there for you, even when I couldn’t be.”

“Do you know who I am?” Stella pressed, wanting to understand how much Aime had truly followed her life.

“I know you love art, and you’re passionate about music,” Aime said, a small smile breaking through her nervousness. “I know you’re talented and so smart.”

Stella’s heart swelled at Aime’s words, but uncertainty still lingered. “But how can I trust you? You left.”

“I understand,” Aime said, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. “I left because I was lost. I didn’t know how to be a mother then. But I’ve been working hard to become a better person, and I want to show you that I can be the mother you deserve.”

TK placed a hand on stella’s shoulder, providing a grounding presence. “It’s not just about words, Aime. It’s about actions. If you want to be in her life, you need to prove it.”

“I will,” Aime promised, desperation in her tone. “I’ll do whatever it takes.”

“Okay,” stella said quietly, her heart pounding. “If you want to get to know me, then I want to try too. But it’s going to take time.”

Aime nodded, relief flooding her features. “I’m willing to do that. I just want to be part of your life again.”

As they stood together on the porch, TK and Carlos watching closely, stella felt a flicker of hope. It wouldn’t be easy, but maybe, just maybe, they could find a way to navigate this new chapter together.
