||CHAPTER 1: DISCORD||
Poor Izuku Midoriya. He's been getting bullied since the age of 5 for being quirkless. He has no friends. He lost all of them after they found out he'll never get a quirk.
Once he hit middle school, around the beginning of seventh grade. He wanted atleast one friend. He searched for an app you can easily make friends with people with similar interests. He stumbled upon an app named Discord.
When he read the description of the app, he immediately clicked the download button. And it felt like it took forever for it to download. When in reality it took like 2 minutes. Right when he opened the app, he made an account. He named it "zuluvsallmight". Hoping to find people to be friends thag also liked all might, online he found a server called "All Might #1 Fans". He joined immediately.
He started introducing himself as zu to the other people in the server. He made a couple new friends. Allrightkokoiskool, and R0ckie130. But one was different. His name was Dynallmight. Him and Izuku clicked like they'd known eachother their entire lives.
Texting eachother out of the server in DMs. They texted all night, even though Izuku knew there was school tomorrow morning. He just couldn't stop talking too him. They got to know eachother. He felt like he had just met his bestfriend.
But the next morning, Izuku was very tired. You could tell from the bags under his eyes.
His mom had already headed off to work so he didn't have to worry about her worrying why he looked tired.
So, he grabbed a poptart from the kitchen. Got ready for school, then walked out the door.
He walked to school, it's not that he couldn't take the bus. He just didn't want to get bullied even more then he already does.
On the way to school he stops by the gas station to buy an energy drink, because he can't fail classes if he's trying to get into U.A.
When he walks into the gas station he walks into thr back by the monster cooler and grabs an ultra strawberry dreams monster. It's his favorite, but his mom would kill him if she knew he drank energy drinks. Knowing that after he pays and walks out of the store he feels guilty about buying it. But chugs it on the way to school.
As he walks into school, he sees the person he dreads. Katsuki Bakugo. Katsuki had always been a born leader. People followed his lead. He did something, someone else 100% did. When Katsuki got a quirk and made fun of Izuku, everyone else followed.
After Bakugo found out Izuku was quirkless, everyone was told. Everyone followed Bakugo so they bullied Midoriya. Midoriya was known as a quirkless, worthless, boy with no friends.
He sat by himself at lunch in the corner that day hoping one person would sit with him. It never happened. It never does.
During lunch he got on his phone and texted his new bestfriend that he was on break. He got a response almost immediately

After that day. Katsuki never really talked to him, or bullied him again. He was really confused by it. It was so sudden. But that didn't stop other people from bullying him. And that didn't stop him from being a loner.
But he didn't care about any of them. He just cared about his bestfriend. He didn't know his real name he just went by kats, like how he went by zu. But any other than that he knew almost everything about the boy.
They had never called before until he got home from school later that day. He got a notification on his computer and it just said "call?" He obviously agreed. It was awkward at first but then they were talking like they known eachother forever. But there was a sense of familiarity in Kats voice to Izuku. He just didn't know from where.
But they talked for hours upon hours. It felt like only minutes but they were on a 8 hour call from 6pm-2am. Once it hit 2am Kats said he got tired and was gonna try and goto sleep. He said he was alright with that but just wanted to keep talking and playing games with him.
They ended up calling every single day after school and staying up late just talking. Izuku was really happy. He had a real friend, not just any friend. A best friend.
A couple weeks had gone by, but he thinks he's falling for Kats.He knows he is. He knows how dumb it sounds. Someone you met online only like 2-3 weeks ago. But he has practically no one, but Kats.
Izuku knew he was gay. He always knew. So he wasn't too surprised with the feelings. It's just he'd never met him face to face or seen his face. It was really his kind, caring, and funny personality Izuku saw.
Izuku loved that about Kats. His personality. He didn't care what he looked like. He just knew someone cared about him the way he cared about them. That's what mattered to him.
But he can't be catching feelings for a random guy online. What if he's a pedophile or even worse a random old guy that lives in his mom's basement. He thought. But his gut knew that wasn't the case. He was just scared to catch feelings.
He was scared of him not feeling the same way.
But that didn't stop Midoriyas feelings. It just made him scared of them.
That next morning he's walking to school and he's blasting music in his airpods. Trees by McCafferty to be exact. He never knew why but he felt a deep connection to the song. It reminded him how the 2 times he'd ever had a girlfriend. They ended up breaking up with him saying something like "you don't meet my needs, you don't act like you even like me."
He didn't ever mean to do that. He only got with them because he felt bad saying no. But it still hurt when they brokeup.
Even if he knew they were going too anyway.
But sad songs wouldn't put the green haired boy in a bad mood. He was always so happy. Kats made him happy. And that's all he cared about.
But as he walked into the school, 2 boys walked up to him. Kenji Miura and Haruto Kubo. After Katsuki stopped bullying him. They got worse. But, it was bad today.
Miura and Kubo grabbed his airpods from his ears, then smashed them onto the ground.
Those airpods were a birthday gift from his mom. And he knew they didn't have the most money, they got by. But they didn't have too much extra.
Izuku started crying right infront of them. But, they just kept laughing. Until a teacher came by and took them to the principals office.
Another teacher was by Izuku. Asking what happen, and why his airpods were smashed.
The two boys ended up not getting in trouble making up the excuse that them and Midoriya were bestfriends and Midoriya accidentally tripped and his airpods broke.
The school was a "We don't tolerate bullying" school. That was the biggest lie ever.
At lunch Midoriya decided to tell Kats what had happened to him.

Izuku was super happy after that. His tears cleared up. He knew someone besides his mom actually cared about him.
And that person was Kats.
He knew he loved Kats.
