Chapter Text
Featherbrain sat on the nightstand. Dazai was laying in his bed. Everything hurt. He didn’t have any missions, so he didn't think It was necessary for him to stand up. Especially with a broken arm.
The worst part is, this time this injury wasn't made in some epic or gory way. He fell down the stairs while he was playing a new game he found. Unbecoming of a mafioso - Mori said. Of course! Because even falling down the stairs is something a mafioso shouldn’t do.
The young boy slowly put his gaze on the owl. When she saw she has Dazai’s attention, she chirped and let go off the letter she had in her beak. It had stamp from Malfoys. Emerald green wax and a snake spiring to eat its own tail. He opened it up “From Draco to Dazai” He started reading, struggling a bit. He hasn’t spoken English in the last one and a half months.
“Dear Dazai,
I hope this letter find You in good health.
Anyways. I’m writing this with Blaise. My Father is making a summer ball, and that a lot of import people will be there. He asked me to ask you if someone named “Kouyou Ozaki” will be on this ball. She’s that red head lady, right? Will your father boss be there too? Will you be there? I hope you will.
I’m getting bored and can’t wait for another year. Though, I heard that some killer escaped Azkaban! AZKABAN!!!! It’s unbelievable! His name is Sirius Black and I think he might try to avenge Quirrell, since both of them were a Death Eaters. Stay safe, okay?” In that moment, the handwriting changed. It looked more like Blaise’s
“It’s Blaise now. I’m happy you’re still responding to my letters. I heard you didn’t answer other Hell’s Hounds. I know we won’t be able to talk before new year of Hogwarts, but I hope you're doing okay.
Draco and Blaise❤”
He had a slight smile on his face, but also some kind of... Pain in his chest. He didn’t know if he’s even coming back. Mori could take it away every moment. A knock on the door made him snap out of his thoughts. He jumped out of the bed, and opened the door. It was some lower mafioso. He bowed down and with... fear he started speaking.
“Boss ordered you to go to his office, sir.” Dazai looked down at the guy and pushed right through him without a word, going straight to Mori’s office. This place was so much easier to navigate than Hogwarts. Stairs that don't move and corridors always leading to the same place. Even though, he still hated it. He despised this sky scraper. If he could, he would bomb this place and never look back again. But he couldn’t.
Young executive arrived in front of the highest placed room in the whole building- Mori's office. He came in without bothering to knock. The more disrespect he can get away against Mori the better. The room was as luxurious and expensive looking as ever. Elise was sitting on the ground, drawing some doodles on a sheet of paper. It looked like Mori hanging from a tree.
The Mafia boss glanced at Dazai and then smiled. That fake, slimy smile he always wore when he wanted something from him. “Dazai! I’m so happy you came! I’m so sorry I missed your birthday, you’re what, thirteen now?” he said with a cheery yet oh, so fake voice. Dazai sighed “Cut to the chase, Mori. What do you want?”. He chuckled “Ah, I just love when you’re so cruel to me, Dazai. You’re coming back to Hogwarts this year.” Dazai internally smiled. He was... no, not happy. He’s not capable of being happy. He was satisfied. Mori continued talking “But this year, I want you to take the classes seriously. Your mission to make students and even teachers fear you didn’t end. People will fear you more when they realize you’re actually smart, Dazai. No one is scared of an idiot.” Dazai grit his teeth. Of course. Now he can’t even slack off. This year is going to be tiresome. “Also, I want you to get a new uniform. The old one is worn out from all your little... adventures. It’s unbecoming of a mafioso to walk around in such rags.” He added. The young boy nodded “Is that all?” he asked. Mori nods “You should have a piece of paper on your bed. It’s a permission slip to go to the village near Hogwarts. Go there often. My informatory say that you can find out a lot by just sitting in a certain pub. Now go. Hirotsu will take you to London tomorrow at 6 a.m. sharp.”
Dazai left without another word. This means he’ll actually have to study, huh? Whole “passing the class” won’t be a problem. But homework? God Damit, he’ll have to write it all down. Maybe he’ll hire some sucker to do it for him.
