"This is so humiliating." the boy with blue hair muttered as he walked into the campus like other students.
Although looking like an ordinary teenager on the outside, he is actually the god of the underworld.
Well, actully, was.
After his attempt to replace Zeus failed, the other gods decided to temporarily take away his title and sent him to Merlin Academy to turn over a new leaf as a student.
Although his abilities have been reduced and his appearance has become younger, he still can be regarded as one of the top magicians among mortals. Moreover, he still retained omniscience as god.
"There is nothing this stupid place can teach me. How should I get through these boring and painful school days?" Hades murmured, but a woman's scolding interrupted him.
"You fools! Now put the bag down. Away you! " a girl with horns on her head yelled and shot out a green lightning bolt from her finger, hitting the goblins next to her, and the goblins disappeared in the smoke.
Black punk style, elegant behavior, cruel attitude, beautiful appearance, every characteristic of the girl is exactly what Hades likes.
Hades grabbed a boy who was passing by and asked:"Hey dude, do you know who that girl is?"
"A powerful witch with horns. That must be Maleficent, people also call her the mistress of all evil."the boy with brown hair swept off his forehead answered.
"Maleficent, got it."Hades brushed his hair with his hand and walked straight towards Maleficent. He held out a hand to block her way and said:"Hello dark and deadly! Hades, lord of the underworld. Maybe you heard of me. How are you doing?"
Maleficent kept a poker face and didn't reply to his question. Instead, she stretched out her hand to Hades' chest. When Hades was thinking about whether to take her hand, a green flame shot out from Maleficent's hand and hit Hades' face directly. Hades reflexively covered his face with his hands, and Maleficent took advantage of this opportunity to walk past him and leave.
Fortunately, because he still retains the physique of a god, this flame can't really harm him.
"Don't take it to heart, she got her name for a reason. There are plenty more fish in the sea." The boy with brown hair came over and said comfortingly to him.
"What? Didn't you see it? She's so hot when she's upset, well, literally. What a perfect woman for me! I have to get that girl!"
The blue-haired boy strengthened his determination, while the brown-haired boy was a little hesitant about whether he should just go find someone else to talk to and be friends with.

After getting along for a while, Hades knowed that the brown-haired boy's name was Morgie, son of a witch from somewhere. To be honest, Hades is not interested in making friends, but he does need someone who knows about mortal relationships better than him to help him get the horned witch's love. Besides, Morgie is very obedient and always reminds him of the three-headed dog he raised in the underworld.
They gathered in Hades' personal dormitory to discuss how to win the heart of the witch.
"How about some flowers and love letters? My mom gets happy every time I give these to her. " Morgie suggested.
"That's cuz she's your mom! I don't think the evil lady is into these things."Hades replied. "But maybe a gift is not a bad idea, however, we still need to find out what she will like. What would a witch like? Broomsticks, magic books, voodoo dolls? "
"If my mom were here we could just ask her."Morgie sighed.
"Then, I think we will just have to settle for the next best thing."Hades smiled sinisterly.

The first class of the afternoon was about to begin, and like all other good students, the Fairy Godmother was heading to the classroom with her textbooks.
"Don't leave so fast, fairy girl." Hades stretched out his hand to block the fairy's way, while Morgie blocked her retreat from behind.
"Please, please don't hurt me. I didn't do anything." the fairy hugged the book tightly to her chest and begged for mercy in fear.
"Don't be so scared, little girl, we just want to ask you a question. If your answer satisfies us, maybe you can still make it to the class on time. But if your answer isn't good enough, I hope you have fire accident insurance."Hades said as he produced a blue flame from his hand.
"Ok! ok! I will answer anything you ask with my best. Just please don't hurt me."
"I'm glad you are such a good communicator."Hades put away the flame in his hand."Then answer me now, if you were a powerful evil witch, what would you desire most?"
"Ok! If I was a powerful evil witch... uh...wait a minute, are you trying to know what kind of gift Maleficent would like to receive? "
"What? How did you know that?"
"Rumors spread throughout the school that Hades was trying to ask Maleficent out but was burned instead."
"Fuck it! Alright I admit. I want to give Maleficent a gift, so do you have suggestions or what?"Hades lost his previous ferocity. He didn't expect that the rumor would spread so quickly, and he was not sure whether it would be good or bad for his pursuit of Maleficent. The only thing that is certain now is that he MUST find a way to get her as soon as possible, both for his own preferences and his own reputation.
Knowing that the villain in front of her also had a side that was troubled by love, the Fairy Godmother felt that he was a lot more approachable and not that scary than she thought before.
After thinking for a moment, the fairy decided that she should tell the truth instead of looking for an answer that might mislead the lost person in love in front of her. "Well, I would love to be a cupid for you, but I don't know about Maleficent very well, so I don't think my suggestions will be useful to you."the Fairy Godmother said apologetically.
"Ok, what a waste of time. You should be glad I'm not in the mood to burn anything right now." Hades sighed and prepared to leave. "Let's go Morgie."
"Oh, wait! "said the Fairy Godmother. "I think that the three fairies once told me that when they went to Maleficent's castle, they saw gargoyles everywhere. I think maybe she loves to collect that thing."
"Gargoyle? Where the hell am I going to find that?"Hades turned to look at the fairy and rolled his eyes. "Forget it, it's still better than no clues."He turned and continued walking away, waving hand back.
"Thanks and bye! Hey, Hades, wait!" Morgie waved goodbye to the fairy and caught up with Hades.

After several days of skipping class and the time sacrifice of several innocent classmates, Hades successfully got a gift that he was confident the mistress of all evil would love. Furthermore, he also mastered Maleficent's daily routine and knew when and where to go to find her. In fact, Maleficent had been avoiding him since the first day they met, so actually this part of the job took him more effort than finding the gift.
Today is the day when Hades decides to strike up a conversation with Maleficent again. Maleficent's class in the morning is Potions, which is her favorite class, and tomorrow is a holiday, so she should be in a good mood at this time. If things go well, they can go straight to a date tomorrow.
Hades took one last look in the mirror before leaving the dormitory to make sure that his look was perfect.
It's lunch break now, and Maleficent usually goes to the bench in the central yard of the campus, eating fresh plums and watching stupid mortals doing all kinds of stupid things.
When he arrived at the yard, as expected, Maleficent was there. Hadesquietly approached her from behind. Once she noticed that he was there, she would probably run away, so he had to shorten the distance between them as much as possible before that happened.
When there were only about five steps left between them, Maleficent spotted him and stood up to leave, but Hades caught up and grabbed her hand.
"What do you want?"the horned girl asked with a slightly dissatisfied tone.
"Mal, beauty, I think I might have been too rude the first day we met, so I prepared a gift for you today to make up. Can you forgive me?"Hades took out a beautifully wrapped gift box.
"Oh really? Did you give the Fairy Godmother the same gift?"
"Wait? What? Why did you say that?"
"Everyone is saying that you went around looking for girls to talk to after being rejected by me. Do you think I will be as easy to deceive as those rubble? Save it."Maleficent got her hand away from Hades and left,leaving Hades shocked.
Hades was in a daze for a few seconds before he recovered. "What the fuck?"He yelled with the fire growing on his hair. "I just went to ask those dumb women for some help. Who the hell would want to date those geeks? "Not long after, Hades' body was covered in red flames, and flames began to appear on the ground around him, and the fire slowly expanded outwards.
Some students who were watching the drama began to realize that something was wrong and left this fire scene reservation area one after another. One student who wanted to secretly take back the skateboard placed near where Hades was standing was caught by Hades.
"You! It’s you! I remember! You were there every time! You must be the one spreading those nonsense everywhere!" Hades pointed at that student and roared. "I'm going to burn you to ashes!"
"Wait!"Without giving the student time to reply, Hades threw a fireball at him. Luckily, he dodged in time and the fire only burned a corner of his coat.
"Let's see how many times you can dodge."Hades chased him around while throwing fireballs, completely unaware that the gift he had prepared for Maleficent had fallen on the road and been picked up. Soon after, he had forced the student to a dead end.
"Wait! You have got the wrong person! I didn't do it!"The student kept trying to beg Hades for mercy. Several holes had been burned out of his clothes, like a survivor who had just escaped from a fire.
"Listen man, I don't really fucking care is you or not. I just really need to find someone to burn with to vent my anger now, ok? Any other last words?"Hades produced a huge fireball in his hand and approached the student step by step.
"Finally something interesting happened in this boring prison. I was almost tortured to death by this meaningless place."A woman's voice came from behind Hades, and it stopped what he was about to do. Hades turned to look at the source of the sound, the woman who had been occupying his thoughts these past few days, Maleficent.
"Maleficent? What? But, I thought you left? "
"I'm just here to return what you just dropped. I think you do have some taste for choosing gifts."Maleficent held the gift dropped by Hades in her hand. The box had been opened, and inside was a small gargoyle stone decoration. Hades 'asked' a few enthusiastic art club classmates who he couldn't remember to help him make it.
"If you are still willing, I will love to accept it."Maleficent said while looking at the small stone sculpture in her hand.
"Of course, that was specially prepared for you."
"You know? I really appreciate the man with fire, cuz that always arouses the fire dragon in me."Maleficent said as her finger slid on Hades' chest.
"Well, baby, let me tell you something. I am always on fire." Hades gently put his hand on Maleficent's shoulder. "How about let's go somewhere quiet and enjoy our time together, should we?"
"Sure."Maleficent took Hades' hand and followed him away from this chaos.

Hades was sitting on the sofa with Maleficent in her dormitory room. Just as Hades, as a god, has the right to have his own room, as the queen of the dark fairies, Maleficent also has a personal room. Hades hugged Maleficent with one hand, and the other hand was tightly clasped with Maleficent's. Their faces were at a distance where they could kiss at any time, and they looked at each other, chatting about various things.
It has been a week since they started dating, and they have been inseparable almost every second during this time. The only longest separation was when Hades was placed on academic probation for the arson last week.
Hades usually doesn't care about this. After all, he was already locked up when he went to school. Those were just a change of position, but the situation is different now. He has a beautiful and noble dragon queen girlfriend now, and he wants to spend all the time with her if possible, so that means he has to cover up a little bit. However, if he didn't do anything bad, not only would it go against his nature, but Maleficent would definitely leave him out of boredom. Although he was now certain that this dragon fairy was also madly in love with him, otherwise, she wouldn't have cursed the girl who tried to talk to him when she was away that day to instantly age to 78 on her 18th birthday.
"Being the leader of an evil group is really tiring, especially when you are surrounded by a bunch of stupid subordinates."Hades looked at Maleficent and said.
"True. Not to mention dealing with those annoying heroes."Maleficent caressed Hades' cheek with her free hand.
"Maybe, we can try not to be leaders for once, just fanning the flames and enjoying the farce starring others. But if we want, we can take back the leadership at any time. What do you think?"
"Hmm. I never thought about doing that, but it sounds like fun."
"Any suggestions for candidates?"
"I remember Ursula once said that her little sister who was always jealous of her was also imprisoned here."
"Perfact, let's enjoy the show."
