Chapter 1: A trip in Heaven

Chapter Text

People have the ability of free will. These people have the choice to take their own decision, although many people still choose to question these choices. These choices determine how a person is and which afterlife they should stay in for eternity. Could we change the destination of our afterlife when we show our true colours? Why do the fallen ones not deserve a second chance? Why is there no morally grey side when we have to pick the good side (Heaven) and the bad side (Hell)?

The bright, never-ending light of heaven shined through the curtains of a bubbly angel. The angel opened her eyes slowly and looked towards the light coming through the curtain. This light represented the positives of the world and the place of the warm-hearted.

"Emily!" called a voice through the house outside the bedroom.

The young angel emerged from the covers of her bedsheets. A small and quick yawn escaped the young girl's mouth. The girl got up from her bed and neatly tied the used bed. The angel then entered her bathroom and turned the shower on. After her warm shower, the angel left the bathroom with a towel around her body and entered her closet looking for the perfect choice to wear for her day. The young angel decided to wear a short-sleeve dress that reached her ankles and had a turtleneck. She then added heeled boots to her accessories. After putting clothes on, the angel applied eyeliner around her eyes, staring intensely into the mirror that showed all her features. A pale complexion with light grey hair, piercing blue eyes, freckles around her cheek, and black lipstick.

Emily exited her bedroom and walked down the stairs of her brightly coloured house. As Emily was walking through the house, she walked past the diamond and heart-designed wallpaper. The early-20-looking angel walks into the kitchen, seeing her mother by the table, placing pancakes onto a plate for her daughter.

As Emily sat down, her mother decided to speak. "How did you sleep, sweetheart?" she questioned with a calm and caring tone.

The younger angel was midway through biting into her pancake before talking. "Fine, thanks. I slept like a log."

"Please do not talk with a mouthful," replied the older angel. Emily nodded slowly before taking a napkin and whipping her mouth. Emily then sat up from her chair and kissed the taller woman on the cheek. The younger angel started walking towards the front door before speaking in a solemn voice, "I'll see you soon, mum. I'm off to have another happy day in heaven ♫.". Her mother chuckled softly before she existed in the house and skipped through the calm streets of Heaven.

The girl danced through the bright scenery, letting her hair flow through the air. As she danced and skipped through the street, she smiled, waved, and greeted every individual she met in the street.

Emily was a heaven born angel who lived in the city of God her entire life and followed the rules and system of the heavenly residents. The bubbly and cheerful girl has never seen the outside of heaven nor visited earth like other generations of angels and former human souls.

The girl stopped dead in her tracks when she noticed the golden gates of heaven were open and there was no sigh of St. Peter, heaven's greeter. Curiosity is a dangerous thing, especially to beings of light who fear the thought of falling from heaven and suffering eternity in Hell. However, curiosity that the best of Emily and the angel decided to wander outside of Heaven and explore the unexplored massive world.

The girl looked around her surroundings, only seeing clouded flooring beyond the entrance of heaven. The girl kept looking at every corner, even turning her head in a full circle twice, seeing nothing but bright lights and clouds. There was nothing. Absolute nothing.

That was until her gaze locked onto a slim figure wearing black around half a mile in front of her line of sight.

The angel smiled and carefully walked towards the mysterious stranger.
