A Book of Prompts and Silly Stories

Summary:

I have some mini stories that I have created using prompts. You can use them as inspiration or use some as a starter for your story.
I will post a new chapter once a week(probably not when I am on vacation) with one short story on every one. I've also published it on Wattpad, so you can check it out there. My account is AriesnotAres.

This symbol will be on every chapter that you cannot use for prompts: ✤
This symbol will be on every chapter that can be used for prompts: ✯

When you use the prompt of the story, could you comment on the chapter to inform me since I am really interested on how others would use the prompts and stories to write.

Notes:

Hello, y'all and welcome to my Book of Prompts and Stories!!

For prompt number one, we have: "Make a piece is based on sound. The story doesn't have to be good, but it has to be all about the sound."

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: ✤ Silly Sally the Snake and Steve the Skunk ✤

Chapter Text

Silly Sally slithered silently, her silver scales shimmering in the sunlight. Pain pounded her body as she prayed to soon perceive a possible pond or any pool of water, preferably as promptly as possible. Her back burned but she bared the big bother bravely and continued to move forward.

Finally, Silly Sally fortunately found a fully filled fountain near a forsaken, frosty factory. She crawled in, craving the cool coating of water to consume her scales, but cried, crestfallen when she realised how cruddy it was.

Devastated, Silly Sally dragged herself, dreary and dreadfully dirty, into the desert to dream of her desired life, instead.

Suddenly, Silly Sally shot out of her satisfying slumber as she sensed a skunk sneaking sideways to her. She hissed, surprised, and swiftly slid away from the striped stranger.

"Wait! Don't go!" He pleaded, a painfully pathetic plea, yet plain and pleasant to perceive. His voice was wonderfully winsome and Silly Sally watched in bewilderment.

"My name is Steve," he revealed, reaching out to greet her, relatively relaxed. She slithered forward and shook his paw shyly.

He reached for a receptacle near his rear end and gave it to Silly Sally, grinning. Silly Sally saw it was sweet, savorous water, so she swiftly spilt it over her searing, sanguine-coloured scales to soothe the sting and then sipped the spare liquid.

"Sssssank you, Ssssteve," Sally thanked the twee teen timidly and took off.
