Construction of the new island hospital is successful, with Jumin Han granting Henri full control over the hiring and training process for new staff. Under his supervision, a new holistic health center is opened that focuses on nature and creativity as core parts of the healing process.
Despite his role shifting to management, Henri remains June’s doctor in charge. Their friendship flourishes, with June taking notice whenever Henri spends too much time at work. June and MC both encourage Henri to maintain a healthier work-life balance, which helps improve his mental stability.
As time goes by, Henri begins to notice June growing despondent. While he has the freedom to work on art, too much freedom inhibits his creativity. Henri shares his concerns with MC, who suggests hiring June at the center. After a discussion with Jumin Han and June, he is hired as an art instructor for creative activities at the center - with Cat MC providing pet therapy, as a bonus!
Henri and June continue working at the center for another year. While the center thrives, Henri starts to feel tied down, like he had at Cherry Farm Healing Center. A discussion with June reveals that he too has grown bored of the island. The two have dreams, and with the encouragement of both of their MCs, they decide it is time to start a new chapter elsewhere.
Using the money they had saved up while working on the island, June, Henri, and Cat MC travel to Paris where they meet up with Eric. Henri explains what happened with their parents, who no longer try to contact him. Eric is happy that Henri was able to leave and find happiness on his terms, wishing both June and Henri a happy future together.
Henri and June use the time in Paris to center themselves and determine what they want for their futures. The many museums and creative spaces there help restore June’s creative spark - he continues to paint while picking up the guitar once again. Henri takes a few culinary courses, which help him better balance taste with being health conscious (much to June’s relief!).
With the time they have spent together, June and Henri's friendship begins to evolve into something more. It's so natural that neither of them even notice until their MCs bring it up. While Henri doesn't seem to think June could ever want that, June admits to Henri that his first crush had been on a guy. This news takes Henri by surprise, however, it is a moment that allows them both to realize the feelings they have for each other are mutual. June and Henri are worried that such a thing would upset their partners, but instead, both MCs have seen how much the two care for each other and want them to be happy in their space and time.
June and Henri continue to love their MCs, while also accepting the feelings they have for each other. June commemorates the start of this new chapter by gifting Henri a painting he had been working on of the sea they had first visited together. Henri is left speechless, only to share a new recipe he made in the hopes that June likes it (he doesn't!). However, June reassures him that there's plenty of time for him to develop the perfect recipe since they're sticking together.
With their newfound relationship blossoming, June, Henri, and Cat MC leave Paris to embark on their next adventure together. They share the news with those they care about in a social media post, not caring what people may think. Hyun-sik was the first to comment his support (seemingly confused, since he had already thought they had been together), while Jumin, Eric, Minha, K, and a suspiciously anonymous account left their own support. Henri was surprised to see Elise comment, though she too shared well wishes for the two. Henri also grew more considerate of Jumin Han, which was a relief to June.
From that point on, June and Henri travel the world together. They bring Cat MC with them, when possible. Since Elizabeth the Third doesn’t take nicely to other cats (she is the jealous type), she occasionally stays with Jumin Han’s secretary or a student in his charity organization who is studying to become a veterinarian (Henri is glad Jumin will have an actual veterinarian to spam his questions to).
Henri and June keep in contact with their MCs, who have given them their blessing and enjoy hearing about their many adventures. Together, June and Henri follow their own dreams and support one another on their path toward healing and happiness.
