Light fingers run through the others hair, brushing the impurities out with a hairbrush.
Shintarou enjoys getting pampered like this. If all his parent's attention were towards his brother, He wouldn't mind if his aide was there to replace his parents for him.
He looked outside the window to see the quiet scenery of Momos Island, Streets empty due to the light rain.
".. Leon?" The Japanese Prince turned to look at the other as the other began to stop his ministrations.
"Hm?" His aide, Leon hummed in reply.
"Don't you ever get irritated from dealing with me? Whenever i have those episodes like throwing stuff across the room and end up hurting myself in the process- Does it ever get you annoyed?" Shintarou gave a poker face in asking, hoping Leon would get the hint.
Leon simply let out a low chuckle, making Shintarou a bit flustered to see his unexpected reaction.
"I wouldn't say annoyed.. More like worried. Every time you hurt yourself or feel down, have i ever gotten mad at you for it? I've been with you since the youngest of our days together ." Leon grinned in seeing the other let out a small smile out of hearing Leon's new reply.
Both of them are used to these type of questions. Shintarou would ask questions base on his insecurities while Leon would reply differently every time, making sure to be cautious of every possible answer so that he could get Shintarou's heart running.
They sat in comfortable silence for a while, with Leon occasionally playing with the others hair strands.
Though the silence eventually ended as Leon looked at the time and realized it was currently 9:39 p.m.
"My Prince, It's getting late. I suggest you rest up for tonight." Hearing Leon's words made Shintarou let out a small pout.
His disappointment grew more when Leon began to tidy up his things and began setting up his bed.
Shintarou couldn't really argue with Leon, He didn't really want to accidently doze off during class the next day.
In the end he changed into something comfortable and began getting ready for bed.
Leon helped him getting into the covers and switched on the LED lights around his room. But just as he was about to leave..
"Wait!-"
Shintarou sat up from his bed and called out towards Leon.
"Oh- Do you need anything, My Prince?" Leon stopped in his tracks and faced Shintarou.
"I..- Uhm.." Shintarou muttered as he started to flush a light pink.
"You?" Leon waited for his response, growing a smile on his face.
"C-Could you..-" Shintarou's breath hitched.
His Prince looked adorable when flustered, Leon thinks.
"-..Stay with me.. for the night?" Shintarou said as he hid under the covers.
But when no response was heard, Shintarou felt the courage to take a peek above his blanket.
He was shocked to see his aide towering him above his bed.
"If you require my presence while you rest, then i shall be here until dawn." Leon stated as he gave a small bow towards his prince.
Shintarou was expecting this answer, Though he was still surprised to see how fast the other had reacted. But hearing Leon's statement got him to a thought.
"But won't you automatically sleep at ten? How will you stand here all night-?"
Hearing this struck realization inside Leon. He quickly began to think of an alternate option to his current problem.
Shintarou suddenly had an idea but grew red at even the thought of it. He looked towards Leon, who was still thinking and glanced at the clock.
*9:46..*
He finally gave in and let out a sigh as he stated the suggestion he'll probably get all red about in the morning.
"Y-you know.. I-.. wouldn't mind if it you were to.." Shintarou frantically stammered as Leon glanced towards his prince.
"To-.." He couldn't complete his sentence as his chin was gently lifted to face the other.
"Don't force yourself to say things you wouldn't really feel comfortable doing. Take deep breaths and rethink your decision." Leon said as he gave a tender smile that made Shintarou's heart skipped a beat at seeing how the other cared about him.
"I.. wouldn't mind it at all if you were to join me under the covers.. I'm always comfortable with you." Said the prince as he moved to the other side of the bed, leaving space for the other.
Leon was genuinely awestruck to hear the other suggestion, but eventually smile with gratitude as he began joining his prince under the covers.
Shintarou was fully flustered now that his idea had actually worked. His attention was fully towards the fact that Leon was much more attractive up close than usual.
".. My Prince,-" Leon faced Shintarou as the other let out a sigh.
Leon hummed as he tucked one of Shintarou's bangs behind his ear.
Shintarou let out a light giggle as his eyes slowly began to droop down, dozing off to slumber.
When had his prince looked so beautiful like this? Leon felt warm in his heart looking at how peaceful he looked.
Leon took one last glance towards the clock to see that it was already 9:58 p.m.
He looked back at his prince and pulled him closer, embracing him in a hug.
In the end, He closed off the distance between them and gave a small peck towards the other's forehead before finally muttering,
"Good night, My Prince"
